I have gone to Abbey for a few years now, and she does amazing work. Everyone in the shop is super friendly and welcoming. The shop is super cute and decorated will, the bathroom is always very clean and neat, and I havent ever had to wait around for my artist to get ready. I've gotten 2 arm tattoos and a back tattoo done by Abbey, and they've healed great and look amazing! My friend got the sunflower seen here also by Abbey. I couldn't be happier with my tattoos and how they've healed. Abbey is amazing at managing pain during your tattoo, letting you breath, and helping to make your experience great. The other artists on site are just as talented! I recommend this shop over any shop in the capital region.

A true honey pot for first timers or seasoned vets. I drive all the way up from Philadelphia And it’s worth it! I’ve been doing it for almost 10 years. People are always stunned at how nice my ink is, even those who hate tattoos. It doesn’t get any better. You can get on a 2 year wait list with an Instagram famous artist and drop 2k or you can come here and get the same quality results for a better price in less time. Incredible pieces, clean shop, and A+ customer service. What else do you want?

I recently got my second tattoo from Joe Woods (first time at Parasol Tattoo), and I couldn't be more elated with the experience and the results! Especially in light of COVID-19, it was clear to me that Joe and the staff at Parasol are most exceptional, both in terms of safety and skill. Prior to my appointment, I was contacted and updated about the regulation updates for in-shop appointments in response to COVID-19. I had been nervous about what to expect, so being informed of safety protocols and procedures, as well given an opportunity to ask any questions really eased my mind prior to the appointment. Once I arrived, Joe and staff were very clear, helpful, and warm; it honestly felt like nothing had changed (apart from the masks hehe). In terms of getting tattooed, Joe was an incredible artist to work with. I had sent him my design a week prior, and it was very clear he had put a lot of thought into his execution of my design. I was getting a piece in color, but the rest of my tattoos in the area are in black. He offered me the suggestion of outlining this piece in black to help make it fit better, but gave me the option to not pursue that route if I didn't want to. I really appreciate an artist who looks out for their client and provides advice based on their experience, while still respecting the desires of that client. When tattooing, Joe was so easy to talk to; I honestly felt like I was talking to a really good friend of mine! At the end of the session, I was blown away by the price, so much cheaper than anticipated! I was expecting a more expensive price tag for such a beautiful piece of art. All in all, I have nothing but the highest praise for this company and their staff. I have gotten several tattoos in Saratoga, so I can confidently state that Parasol Tattoo is like no other - exceptional quality, treatment, and standards.

With a more spa like feel than your average tattoo shop, you will feel comfortable and relaxed during your tattoo session. The artists at this location are second to none. The shop is also absolutely spotless and 100% professional. You may have to make an appointment in advance because the artists are so far booked out, but amazing tattoos are worth waiting for.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this tattoo company! I've been getting tattooed for over 15 years and this is the cleanliest, most professional, and relaxing place I have ever been tattooed. Joe is amazing and I would recommend ANYONE to go see him/them. If you want something on your body that is going to be forever, his artistry is the absolute top choice. If you're anxious while getting tattooed, this is the most comfortable place to put you at ease. The experience itself is something you actually ENJOY (not just the end result)!! This guy, joe wood, wants you to deposit $100 for a consultation session that is non-refundable. So he has you locked in right there. He will not do what you ask him to do unless he see's it fit. Just do what i ask ya goof ball! I asked him 2 or 3 times to meet in person but he kept avoiding the question for some reason. He thinks he can charge crazy rates and ask for deposits and thinks he is SUCH A AWESOME tattoo artist when i saw his work is only mediocre at best. Watch out for his $120 hourly rate! They didn't pick up the phone when i called. Sorry your highness, you aren't that great. I went to another popoular tattoo artist and they had me come right in, we talked about everything that needed discussing, gave me a ballpark price and they were super friendly. this happened in 1 hour instead of talking back and forth with joe wood for 3 days with no end in sight. Oh, and they picked up there phone. Don't go to parasol tattoo.

On top of being quick and efficient at responding, his work is simply breathtaking. My tattoo could not have came out more perfect. It was everything I was envisioning and more. The detail in his work is beyond anything I’ve ever seen. Everyone in the shop is extremely friendly and you get a family-like vibe between everyone who works there. The atmosphere is relaxing and his shop is extremely clean. All of these things are important for a tattoo shop and Parasol Tattoo excels in every area.
