A friend & I have been to Mooncusser several times. We visit Ptown twice a year, and since 2013 we have added to our ink. My latest was a bear on my left pectoral, done by Sean. My friends' was a tribute to the Pilgrims Landing, custom drawn by Sean - including Pilgrims Landing, the monument, the grave markers, and the year. BOTH came out exceptionally well!!! Sean is my artist from now on...Next month; a Celtic/Tribal across my shoulders!!

Every one of my tattoos including a full back has been done by mooncusser. I wouldn't go to anyone else. The owner is fantastic and so are there visiting artists. the staff is warm friendly and very outgoing. Truly exceptional

I have made it a tradition to stop in here and get a little souvenir tattoo when I visit The Cape. The shop is super cool and I know that anyone working there is a solid tattooer. The owner is actually a local and holds it down all winter. Once the summer comes he invites a rotating group of amazing tattooers to join him for “tattoo summer camp”. I visited this weekend and played the “get what you get game” My tattooer was Kevin and it was such a great experience. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. My Mooncusser tattoo was definitely the trip highlight and a permanent reminder of an amazing weekend. ❤️

They are super professional and make sure everything is as comfortable and clean as possible especially during a pandemic. I actually didn't end up getting any ink here. However, by far the friendliest group of people and extremely talented artist out of everybody I looked at. It was just not going to happen with having to come back with the traffic and how I have my vacation planned to swim with my daughter the whole time. If I ever do come back I'm definitely going to make sure that I get some work done with this fantastic group of artists

Stopped by during the summer, decided to get the other side of my nostril done. Wicked last minute thirty and they fit me right in, even during COVID. Had never been in before. On time, super strict with COVID which was perfectly fine, lady at the desk super nice, and the guy that pierced me (sorry cannot remember name) was wicked chill and totally cool. Definitely thinking about stopping in to get my sleeve finished, curious about reviews regarding ink. Haven’t been happy with ANYWHERE else nearby!!

BEWARE of this busy, half-ass parlor. They are overpriced for work that is pretty amateur. I got a tattoo there two summer's ago, script on my left rib cage, that was relatively simple in design. It cost over $200. The guy who did the tattoo not only scarred up my side from lack of experience, but the script was bumpy and uneven. I had to get it fixed at a different place and they were appalled but what was done to me. They said the fact the guy couldn't pull a clean line is a clear example of lack of experience and care to the craft. Don't get caught up in the thrill of getting a tattoo on vacation.... totally not worth it at this place. TOTAL HACK JOB.

i got my nose pierced here and the service was great and seemed very professional, although a few months pass and when i want to change my jewelry out it is in way too tight and it’s stuck in my nose. now i have to see another piercer to get it out or cut it Lol update: through much blood and several attempts, i got it out! put in a hoop they gave me

Very safe and chill atmosphere here. Strict covid guidelines. Sun Mi is amazing and helped us out with everything. Joseph pierced us and also tattooed me the following day. It was just us in the whole place for the piercings and the tattoo. Everything is clean and professional and felt very welcomed and comfortable.

Came here for my first tattoo (as a recommendation from housemates) and the entire process was great. From the employees and my artist helping me solidify a design prior to my appointment and then, on the day of being timely and ready when I arrived. And the tattoo work was impeccable, the artist talked with me the whole way through and let me know what part they were working on. The final job (now that it's healed) is better than I could have ever imagined!

I hate leaving bad reviews, especially since all the employees seemed really sweet and passionate about their work. However, I unfortunately cannot recommend coming here to get a piercing. I got my septum pierced here yesterday and it was completely crooked... I was honestly shocked by how poorly executed the piercing was. I came home and immediately took it out so it can heal and I can get it re-pierced by a different piercer. Hopefully it was just a mistake, but if you’re looking for a septum piercing I personally would recommend elsewhere.

Chad, a piercer who is here for the summer (2020) took a look at a healing cartilage piercing for me. I've got some irritation bumps that are frustrating me. He was very knowledgable. I appreciated the time he took to assess my situation and explain to me what my options were. Ultimately he didnt change my jewelry because he didnt have the post in stock that would have been my best option. I was grateful that he didnt just change my jewelry to make me happy to turn a profit. it was clear he takes pride in his work and the art of body modification.

We called and made a reservation for 6:30. They needed our money immediately. Which they did not tell us a time frame. We enjoyed lunch and enjoyed our time in Ptown. My mother broke her ankle the day prior. So everything we do has taken awhile. We called at 3:30 to confirm our 6:30 appt. and tell them we were coming to bring them money. They said they booked our appt. didn’t care that my mother had broken her ankle or that we couldn’t immediately bring them money when they never stated a time frame. So we lost our appt and now are headed back tomorrow with no tattoo and the worst customer service, absolutely devastating. This was our anniversary present and they completely lied to us and just cared about receiving money immediately. Poor customer service. Just want your money and don’t care about anything else.
