Now has nothing to do with the quality of work. The quality is definitely amazing and the ink I did get from them was great and I love it. My big problem was when I went to go back and messaged to see about openings, my tattoo, and price. And never heard back. Messaged a couple times after and still nothing. It would get read and then makes as unread and re-read. Just didn’t sit well with me.

I came here while in College Station visiting my friend and we decided to get piercings on a WHIM! I got my conch pierced like I’ve been wanting and my friend got her nose pierced. The piercings came out GREAT! Vick (I think was her name) was so friendly and welcoming which I appreciated. At other piercing places I’ve been to the piercers are not wanting to talk and didn’t make me feel comfortable, but Vick was so nice I felt comfortable the whole time. (:

I would have given five stars but when we came in we needed help with my daughters tattoo because something had changed. They made me feel like I was judging them and came off abrasive and condescending. She did not get the tattoo there but instead of listening to the customer a couple of the artist kept talking over me. Finally I just shut my mouth and let them talk. After that she got her nose pierced and I had a new one placed. The lady that did the piercing was very sweet and professional. We never received her business card to call if there were any problems. My daughter's piercing has done great but mine appeared to be infected slightly I had no way of calling and asking for the lady the did the piercing because I did not know who she was. I could have described her but it would have been better to have had her card my piercing worked itself out so in the end I didn't need to call but I would have liked to have given her a good review personally.

I have gotten a total of 9 piercings at this location. 6 between both ears, nipples, and 1 lip piercing. I have to give credit where its due. I havent been to a place where I can get piercings by two different ppl feeling so comfortable and taken care of. Place is clean, Kind of wish they had a bigger parking area (they honestly need it), cozy enviroment. Friendly. I really due recommend this location if you want to get piercings done. Next on the agenda some ink therapy!!! thanks for the wonderful service every visit :)

I wish I could leave a 5 star review. I have loved all of my experiences getting piercings from Essie, I think I've gotten 5 from her now, and if I decide I want more I will be returning to her. The reason for my 3 star review is from trying to schedule an appointment for a tattoo. I didn't even get one, just trying to schedule one was enough of an unprofessional experience to make me decide to go elsewhere. The artist I was messaging did not draw what I wanted to begin with even though I had sent a picture specifically of what I wanted and a text about the picture to go along with it. The artist then scheduled my appointment for a day that I told them I was going to be unavailable. I woke up to an angry text message on that day because I had no-showed and when I tried to apologise for the misunderstanding I was told about how I "messed up their day". I understand it is frustrating to have someone no show and I am sorry for the misunderstanding, but the manner this was handled was so unprofessional I won't be getting my tattoo from Legacy.

Came with a special lady friend and got her a small tattoo, for her birthday. I was worried that the artists might think that something that small was not worth their time, but that was definitely not the case! Everyone there was very respectful and we both felt right at home. We'll definitely be bringing out bigger jobs here. Yeah you can find cheaper tattoos, but it's your skin and your problem if it sucks. Just go here, you won't regret it at all!

After contacting and scheduling a tattoo session with a couple of “artists” in College Station, I came to realize that they didn’t have any sort of standard of professionalism. On top of that, they only had bad things to day about Legacy. Legacy Tattoo not only proved them wrong, Petey was an absolute Professional of the highest tier. We spoke of the design and I could tell he was absolutely enthusiastic about, it speaks a lot about having a passion and He has it!! Everyone is super nice there and that’s why I hate to write this review but I got a pretty bad tattoo from this place. The artist free handed instead of using the stencil and I trusted that she knew what she was doing because of how well talked about the studio is but the tattoo did not come out good at all. I gave a reference photo and asked for a snake with a flower for a head and I received a worm with a weird looking head. Overall super disappointing.

My first time getting a professional piercing. The girl who pierced me, Essie, is very sweet and social and very professional. The staff is well trained and polite, I forgot my ID at home and had to wait for a picture and they were very polite and patient. They measured and placed my labret piercing to where it would look best on me, it was a very quick and almost painless process, the only painful part was afterwards when Essie put the ball on. Even then the pain was a 2/10. Definitely will be going there again for future piercings.

I had been wanting a tattoo for awhile, but travel a lot for work. When I got out here I quickly looked up shops to go to and legacy was right by my hotel, so I walked over and the shop was awesome the whole vibe was welcoming and chill. I was great quickly and told them what I was wanting to get done, Jennifer was the one who I very happily got to do my tat. She's really talented and accommodating, because I wanted to do it all in one sitting and have a tight window to do it. I can't speak on the tattoos but I got dermals done here and it was an overall really bad experience. The piercer, Essie, did my sisters dermal off centered, and when she did mine on my hips she lost the anchor in my hip and had to dig for it for 15 minutes. We looked at the video of our piercings being done later and noticed her claw nails coming out of the gloves which is a health code violation. My dermal anchors were also put in crooked as well as not far enough into my skin which caused one to tear out half way even after being healed for 9 months after barely getting caught on a shower sponge.

Unfortunately though, they had a picture of what I exactly wanted on my tattoo and they did not add everything onto it. I get anxiety about things like this and did not notice until I left the shop and wasn’t sure what to do at that point. I go to Legacy pretty regularly to get pierced and soon I'll hopefully be going to get tattooed there regularly too once I rise above my student induced poverty. The shop and the people are awesome. I first went in for my septum in July of 2020 and since then I think I've gotten something like 15 piercings since. I mostly go to Essie because of when I can get to the shop, but I have piercings from Vick and Nate too! They all do a great job and I've never had any healing issues. I've also gotten tattooed by Kara and Jennifer and haven't had a bad experience yet (they did a great job of explaining specific area aftercare for my tatts). They have this magical power of making me feel better and more like me every time I go in for some work. I would definitely recommend this shop for fast, quality and professional work!

He was patient when I asked to put on a second stencil, and was well balanced in the amount of professional advice he gave while still meeting my vision at the end of the day. I got my work done by Chris, 10/10 imo. Dude was awesome. He listened to my ideas incorporated some of his and was up-front about what he was comfortable doing and not so comfortable which was something I was worried about, someone just going for it even if they didn't feel comfortable about it. I tend to fill dead air with random conversation (it's just something I do) which he didn't seem to mind during the tattoo session. Good conversation and great guy all around. Can't speak for the tattoo artists, but Essie is the worst piercer on the planet. My sister and I went to get dermals, and I went first. I didn't watch Essie during the process (I faint at the sight of my blood), but I did okay the dot for placement. My piercing is to the left of the dot, so much so that I could still see the dot on the right edge of the punctured skin. Essie's fake nails were long and sharp, like claws, and poked through her gloves! I didn't realize this until I was done and started videoing my sister's process. So unsanitary. During my sister's first dermal, Essie lost the anchor in my sister's hip. She proceeded to dig around in the fresh, open wound for a solid 10 minutes using a piercing needle. Once the anchor was finally retrieved, it took a minute to screw the dermal top on. My sister let her do the other side, after being promised it wouldn't happen again. Luckily, it didn't. Second piercing went smoothly, but her piercings are uneven with each other. We left in a hurry and were glad to be done with her. But only 4 short days later, my dermal top came unscrewed and fell out. The anchor wasn't anywhere near healed, and started to migrate into my chest. I went back to Essie immediately to have her replace the dermal top. She did, but dug around in my chest just like she had done in my sister's hip. It was a very painful experience. I have several friends with dermals and NO ONE has had theirs come unscrewed unintentionally. After lots of research, my only conclusion is cheap jewelry. I've replaced the dermal top and it's much more secure now. My piercing didn't heal properly and sticks out pretty far. I went to another piercer (who has done 16 of my friends dermals) and he confirmed that the placement isn't deep enough, causing constant infection. I've finally managed to keep it healed, despite her inept piercing job. I got a text yesterday from my sister that part of her anchor (in the hip that Essie dug around in for 10 minutes) had snagged on a wash cloth in the shower and halfway come out. Luckily she was able to get it back in. Her piercings healed fine, but that anchor should've never been able to come loose. Never again!

Update: As you can read by the owners response, the customer is always wrong. I didn't get art a couple days beforehand, I got it one day before at 1am after cancelling my appointment earlier due lack of professionalism. Mind you this was a full backpiece. Use this business at your own risk, because the owners' ego will not allow any courtesy towards a disappointed customer. All you had to do was apologize, but that was too much. to I don’t see this as consistent issue with the business, but regardless my experience wasn’t good. My first suggestion is don’t tell a client that is about to spend thousands of dollars on something permanent that it’s “difficult in my job keeping everyone happy”. Long story short, during my consultation I was told that it would take some time to get to my artwork, but it would come in time for revisions if needed. Well I waited patiently for 1 1/2 months for anything, so I called the week prior to my appointment to get an update and was told that he would get to it Wed/Thurs of next week. By Friday, which was 2 days before my first 10 hr session I had to contact him again because I had received nothing. After the comment about keeping everyone happy, I basically lost trust in the artist and cancelled my appointment. I finally received the artwork at 1am today, which would have been one day before the appointment. Not sure why it couldn’t have been sent during the first email of the day. I was told it was at his home, I had to assume it wasn’t done yet, which factored in to my cancellation. It wasn’t bad, but it needed significant revisions to get in line with my vision. Anyway, I am out the $300 I paid for deposit for something that was not delivered on time and will never be done. The money isn’t that important, but the principle is...

It’s a very clean environment that they provide in their piercing room and they have a wide variety of jewelry. She also went out of her way to order special jewelry for me and checked on how everything was healing after I left! She was really knowledgeable and shared with me that this has really helped others. Let me tell you, she has saved my life!! Not only do my ears look so cool now but the headaches are manageable now. The customer service was terrible. I came in around 10:45pm. He even knows he was being rude he said “sorry it’s just the last hour of my shift on a Friday night” as if that’s excuse to be rude. I came in for a small minimalist tattoo about 2 inches big and wide. This tattoo is very meaningful to me and he ruined my experience. I didn’t get his name but he had a hood on, colored eyes, with a long beard and mustache and wasn’t wearing a mask. I will be taking my business elsewhere and with someone who want to make money.
