I work at Sunny Daze Tattoo Company in Albemarle, North Carolina. I flew to Bryan, Texas on a business trip and decided to get a tattoo spur of the moment. Once I shared my background the staff were all friendly and treated me like I was knowledgeable. My tattoo has been fully healed for over a year now, still looks great. As a fellow tattooer, I will absolutely be back. Also had them change my dermal top out, the piercer was skilled and efficient.

The artist Lobo is the best. So far I have gotten about six tattoos from him and have a few more to get. I wouldn’t go to any other artist. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, caring, CLEAN, and takes his time. He really cares about his work which is a plus. Definitely worth it to have a tattoo by Lobo no worries about any amateur work he’s awesome! Very reasonably priced seems almost underpriced for the quality of work he provides.

Lobo is one of the best artist I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He is an amazing artist and person. When I first dealt with Lobo I had an idea of what I wanted in my head and he put it to paper and then my skin. I have seen other artist where when they dont like your design they complain about it. Not him if theres any kind of an issue or something wont look right he'll sit down and explain to you why this might not work and how to rework it into the piece. Like I said he is an amazing artist and an amazing person I will never deal with another artist, and if he retires then so does my getting ink.

Was going to have my gauges changed out because of my job I’m not allowed to have bright colorful gauges they must be skin tone or neutral colors the selection of gauges that were in my size (1/2) was terrible I had to choose between 5 different colors none of which I truly wanted then was told my ears are too red/ probably blown out to put them in FYI my ears are red because I told u I went a whole day without my gauges and my ears shrink quickly they aren’t blown out ???? I feel like if I’m willing to pay u to change out the jewelry I should be able to get it done red ears or not

I got three piercings in my time there. I also just walked in instead of an appointment. Not only were they fast with wait time they were clean, extremely nice, and very sweet. My piercer seemed young but she knew what she was doing and everything was very clean. My piercings today are still healing but so far no problems at all. The girl at the front desk could maybe get off her phone every once in awhile but other than that I had a very good experience and I recommend this place to people who want tattoos only (I have an update on the piercing that I thought were "good") Update, I have many piercings before coming to this place. I will say, my earring are having a hard time healing and I had to take out my belly button ring too. I went to legacy tattoo to ask for help and the girl there said to not go to ink dreams because the piercer pierces jagged and rough which I did notice but thought it was because of the area's I had done. She told me to never go to ink dreams again and literally go anywhere else, that the girl at ink dreams is not experienced and needs to be re trained with how to smoothly Pierce. The girl at legacy ended up doing my nose piercing and it has healed and it not crooked like ink dreams did. With my belly button, it was like there were two different holes in the inside and I was ripping the flesh inside anytime I tried to clean it. Just moving it was terrible and the girl at legacy said it was the way she did a jagged motion most likely. I advise people to only go to ink dreams for tattoos. Don't go to the piercer unless you are willing to spend 100+ for something that could possibly not have been done right.

I will not be going back here, Im only giving this place two stars because the receptionist was nice and friendly and the overall place was very clean and smelled very nice. HOWEVER the artist I got had a very arrogant attitude and I understand being how many people where there tonight, but he didn't wrap up my tattoo when he got done I ended up wrapping it when I got home. This being my very first tattoo my experience here should've been better and I'm really disappointed because I was so excited to come here.

I had my fifteenth tattoo done by Taylor, and it was an awesome experience. I have been wanting an American Traditional tattoo for forever, and the tattoo exceeds my expectations. The colors are vibrant and rich, and the line work is solid. I was impressed with several aspects of my experience at Ink Dreams. The shop is clean; from the lobby all the way through to the individual rooms of the artists. Each one had their own office and a particular set up. I've seen some road side type shops before but this was different; very professional. Also very pleased with the quality of work. Audrey has done several hours of work on my leg. Jason spent some time fixing color on a bad tat I got in Houston. Both Randy and Jason have done work on my wife, brother and a few friends. The ink always sets good and we've never had an issue with healing. Nice clean lines. Jason knows how to shade and add depth to make things really stand out. I would happily recommend them to anyone who seriously appreciates a good artist.

Came in to get a spontaneous lip tattoo by an artist. Unfortunately a week later I already needed a touch up so I made an appointment with the same artist to come in. When I showed up to my next appointment, I was told by reception that the artist had left the shop entirely. I was upset with the quality of the tattoo by the artist but highly impressed with the way the shop handled the situation. The shop was able to touch up my tattoo as promised w/ no additional cost. The staff is so beyond friendly and and gladly helped me with jewelry purchases as well. I definitely recommend seeing Matt or Titus for tattoos but the shop in general has amazing customer service!!

Ben was awesome and laid back and fun to talk to, patient, and he was very helpful in my nervousness because it was my first ever tattoo. His work was beautiful and I still love it to this day! I’ve also been here for piercings, and I came recently with my friend Aundrea, which was also a great experience! Lezlie did my second nose piercing, as well as Aundrea’s belly button. My piercing was placed perfectly and she was easy to talk to. She was also very reassuring and empathetic to Aundrea (who was extremely nervous) and was excellent at informing us of how to take care of the piercings afterward as well. All in all, I highly recommend coming here for tattoos and piercings! Ben and Lezlie were both awesome :)

I wanted to get a tattoo done by Matt, and it was my first tattoo so I didn’t know how to explain exactly what I wanted, but I gave him my own sketch which I think was pretty explicit. He did not help me figure out what I wanted, and didn’t ask me many questions about the tattoo. He did not have the design ready when he said it would be ready, and I ended up wanting to change it both because it was a completely different style from what I asked for and because the quality of the drawing he sent me was very poor, so he was unable to give me my tattoo when it was scheduled. He then asked me to send him another sketch which I did, but to that he never responded, only replying after I told him I decided I was going somewhere else. The whole process was very unprofessional, and I don’t think I’ll ever do business here again.

My roommate and I wanted to get a tattoo while we were here for the summer in College Station doing research. Our artist was Steven and he was AMAZING. My roommate got a really simple tattoo since it was his first time, and I got a more complex one. He spent a lot of time drawing our tattoos to make sure they were perfect and the quality of work was phenomenal. Felicia at the counter is also super fun to talk to! I was looking for a tattoo shop to get my third tattoo done and was a little weary of where to go, as I had a less-than-great experience at another tattoo shop in Bryan, but all my expectations were beyond met at Ink Dreams! I messaged them on Facebook that morning about what I was looking to get done and relay any worries I had and they messaged back SO quickly-- I heard back within the hour that they would be more than happy to get me in that day and were very reassuring that we could most definitely get done what I was hoping to get, no problem. I went in when they opened and got to meet Carlos and show him what I was hoping to do. CARLOS IS THE BEST -- he was so patient with me and was more than happy to print my design multiple times and let me play around with sizing and placement. He was really chill, nice to be around, and was great at explaining what he was doing, as well as being super thorough. He took his time making sure both he and I were happy with the finished product and I LOVE how it turned out. The price was great and lower than I expected and I had a great hour or so with Carlos as he did the piece. He never made me feel silly or seemed annoyed that I was a walk-in with a somewhat simple design in mind. I will most definitely come to Ink Dreams again for any other tattoos in the future and recommend Carlos for sure! The whole staff is great, the shop is clean and relaxed. Thanks for a great experience!

The receptionist was great. She was quick and diligent, even when she had many people to attend to. It wasn't busy (as far as the artists having too many people waiting for them) when we went so Stephen did my tattoo. I am happy with the result. He's definitely not the talkative type but I can appreciate that, since he was focused on the work. I was satisfied with the price as well. Also, it was very clean. We even mentioned it to them that it's very well kept. Happy overall with the whole experience. I plan on returning for some cover up work.

He was super nice and made me feel really comfortable. He also did a quote on my cousin's thigh and did an awesome job! They do free touch ups with the same artists, so I'll be back in a few months! They also take credit cards, which I think is bad ass. Great place!

So far I have 3 tattoos completed by Jason. All three have been cover ups, two on shoulders and one a leg sleeve. After the first cover up, I was blown away. Not only are the old tattoos completely covered, the vision Jason had used on placement and color makes the tattoos even more amazing. The tattoos are fantastic as a fresh tattoo never mind being a cover. Absolutely thrilled with my pieces. First tattoo was black and grey. Jason's abilities were very apparent with excellent detail. I then had Jason complete the two other tattoos both being color. I was blown away on the realism and color. Everything has incredible detail wether its the main image, or background. I really love Ink Dreams. I have been going there for over a year now for both piercing as well as a back piece, and leg tattoos I have been working on. They DO take credit cards for payment as well as cash (of course)... just not debit. They are a very clean shop, and do all they can to keep their standards high. Price wise, they are on par with most good shops. They also are more than happy to answer questions you might have about what they do and how they do it. If you just want a cheap tattoo... you probably won't get good work, let alone CLEAN. My art is beautiful that I have had done there. The shop itself is a nice set up. It is very comfortable and pretty private (you aren't just out in the middle of a room with people coming in and out). I highly recommend them for ink work especially. They have some awesome in house talent. The other awesome thing is that once you put down your art deposit for custom work, they will draw it till you like it! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Everyone who works there have always been very nice, and pretty easy going with me.

Walk-in for industrial around midnight. The front desk lady was quick to attend us and introduce us to Lezlie, who was super sweet. She throughly explained to me that my anatomy was not suited for industrials, but still left the choice up to me. The only person that has ever been truthful about the process. Instead I got two cartilage piercings and she was really sweet and made conversation to ease my anxiety. She explained the cleaning process with detail and provided with additional answers to various piercing care questions. Quick and painless. Very enjoyable and sweet person ! Well, to start, I called the shop and asked if they were taking walk ins? The lady said they would be all day. When showing up at 7pm we were told there would be a short wait. After waiting for 3 hours we were informed for the first time again that it would be about 30 min to an hour longer. Well I waited this long so might as well tough it out. Finally at 1 am, 6 hours later it's time for my 10 min tattoo. The tattoo artist who's name I won't mention because I wouldn't want to hurt his reputation was not caring about the tat or its meaning. Just wanted to slap it on my skin and go home. He drew up the tat and asked if I liked it. I said I'd like to change part of it and he said fine then I'll just draw it on. Why not say, if you want this done right come back and see me tomorrow. I would have been cool with that. Even though I waited I would have wanted the artist and myself confident in the tat before applying it. Wouldn't you!!?? So thanks a lot. On the upside, I do like my tattoo it was the experience that was dull.

When I got there, Sergeo walked me through everything and we mapped out an idea of what I wanted, some dope viking symbols on my arm. The piercer I talked to about changing out my septum ring was very snotty and unhelpful even though I was nice. She seems to really not want business, as she was super irritated as soon as I walked in. When I asked for help with what size my septum piercing is, she looked at me like I was dumb. Like??? Shouldn't a "professional" piercer know or be able to find out what size a piercing is? Just a bad experience all around, thanks for nothing.

My impression of this shop was very poor and the attitude that's given really makes it hard to want to go back. Seems like everyone is to arrogant. The work that comes out of some of the guys there is just absolutely not acceptable. The website says all award winning artist! Haha And this goes for a few of my family that has gone here.. Lobo is the artist at Ink Dreams who tattooed me an amazing and unique forearm sleeve with a realistic hummingbird, caterpillar, butterfly, moth, dragonfly, and coral honeysuckle inside a dense woodland background. This is the most beautiful tattoo work I have seen, and people who have commented on it are wowed. I will commission him for a second sleeve soon. The price is reasonable, and Lobo's skill is outstanding. I strongly recommend Lobo and Ink Dreams.

I’m currently stationed and AZ and made a visit home last month. I made a spur of the moment decision to get a new tattoo. I did a walk-in and was seen right away by Titus. Being that I’ve only ever gotten tattoos in military towns, the price was a little more then I was expecting but was worth every penny. Overall it’s a beautiful shop with a great atmosphere and amazing quality work. Will definitely be returning in the near future
