One of the best experiences at this shop. Manny took a rough drawing idea and turned it into something brilliant beyond expectations. He took the time at the beginning to ensure everything had the green light from me, tweaked anything that needed it before making the stencil and even took the time to get all the details just right. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work with him. Super chill and professional. From paper to skin still has my mind blown I'm beyond impressed. I will recommend him to anyone, I've already started. I can't wait until next time!

Horrible Experience I honestly don’t know we’re to start. I traveled all the way from Florida to get tattooed by Kyle. I thought this was going to be a great experience. However, this turned out to be the worst experience of my life. Kyle charged me almost $4000 for a sleeve tattoo that he rushed and only took him about 4 hrs to do. The tattoo was suppose to take the whole day to do. He even told me it wold take at least 8hrs . However, he lied.He kept taking smoking breaks every 30 minutes, or sometimes his on the phone.But clearly, I could tell this man was only after my money. Throughout the whole process, he never gave me opportunity to express myself about what I want, and I noticed he would quickly get agitated when I asked questions about the tattoo. He didn’t even call to do an orientation before the tattoo or anything .This was my first tattoo so of course I had to ask questions. The tattoo was so vague and just poorly done. You couldn’t even see what the tattoo was about because it started to fade just after a month or two. So I traveled back to Toronto about 3 months after, so he can touch it up again. This man became very hostile and disrespectful. Now after a couple of months later. My tattoo is way worse. I absolutely felt scammed by a man who was only about getting paid . I’ve started laser treatment to remove this mess this man has done on my body. The whole process cost me almost $7000. Just because Kyle scammed me and on the process messed up my skin. To be honest, this has put me in a really bad depression. I’ve already started getting in contact with lawyers and I’m definitely taking legal action .

I found out about FY INK through a friend. When I visited I sat down to speak with a few different artists, and where others had turned me down, the artists at FY walked me through the challenges with my desired tattoo, and helped me determine how best to go about getting the tattoo I want, to my liking. I am happy to say that I feel confident with the artist who is going to do my tattoo, Manny, and that he spent a lot of time working with me to figure it out. I have seen his work and the work of their other artists, and they are all amazing! FY INK had very friendly, and incredibly helpful staff! I am looking forward to when I go back for my tat, and I definitely think this is a great place check out for your next tattoo! Update: I finally had my appointment with Manny, and he was incredible. Manny is very chill and friendly. We used his more private chair upstairs so it was very personal, and we had a chance to really talk and get comfortable. He’s a great guy and definitely makes the experience easy and enjoyable. We finished the tattoo in two sessions and he has done the most amazing work. I am VERY happy with what he has done and I highly recommend him!!!

Went to FYI for script work from Daysha and it was awesome. The font I chose was very straight in some parts and curved in others and she was amazing. The staff were very helpful with my questions and would always reply to my emails. The day of my appointment they took the time to answer my wife's questions, on the spot without an issue. Came here twice, I got work done with Mooongnyum, a guest artist they had at the time, and she was fantastic. Very detail oriented, worked with the ideas I gave her, and good placement. I was a bit intimidated by the shop at first but these guys are absolutely incredible. Everyone is super nice and it's a chill environment. The owner was always on top of people walking into the shop and kind about it. They take both cash and credit which is great. I would definitely recommend this shop if you want to feel like you are getting a quality piece.

Never stepped foot into this place and I probably would never consider it after I just passed by and 3 people (for what seemed to be workers of the tattoo shop because next to no one was inside) were smoking weed directly outside the front doors which was heavy blown into the walking paths of pedestrians on the public sidewalk. Intoxicated/impaired artists potentially working on my body. Sorry I'll go to the next place and warn any one else at the same time.

My experience with FY Ink goes back to December of 2016 but since then I have been tattooed a further three times at two different shops and what made FY Ink stand out was the hospitality. I was offered water by the front desk guy as I was getting tattooed which is something no one has offered before. That small thing went a long way to making my experience from good to world class. Plus the tattoo was awesome

Just had a forearm piece done by Manny and I was very pleased with the result! Manny was super chills and really made an effort to make sure him and I were on the same page prior to putting the ink on. The entire experience was very comfortable starting from their front line reception service, down to the artist telling me how to post-treat my tattoo. Dixer was my artist and I couldn't be more pleased. My boyfriend has also gotten tattoos by Kyle and Manny and they're absolutely amazing. In my experience, dixer was so understanding about the fact this was my first tat. He went above and beyond to make me comfortable and make sure I was okay. Not to mention the tattoo itself is out of the world. Cleanest and sharpest tattoo ever. Not a single complaint from me!

Long overdue google review, I went to FYI a couple of years back. Terrible experience, I was informed initially not to be late for my appointment or else I would lose my deposit. My appointment was for 5pm, I got there 10 mins early. The tattoo artist I was seeing was still finishing up another client. I sat there for three whole hours!!!!!!! None of the staff came to greet me or acknowledge that I had been sitting there for so long, terrible customer service. I got in the seat at 8pm, the tattoo artist asked me if it was cool for him to go take smoke break, not even apologizing for making me wait 3 hours....I got my tattoo and just left, I would not dare go back to this shop ever again.

“Why not pay more for quality tattoos?” If quality means getting your arm cut severely before your tattoo even begins, having your consultation on the day of your original tattoo appointment so if a choice isn’t agreed on your out on your $400 deposit. Shop offers custom work but was incapable of doing so. Overall terrible experience.

Terrible experience. I had a tattoo appointment with Kyle last year. I informed what I wanted in the consult prior to the appointment and he agree on the idea and sound excited about it. On the day of the appointment he showed up late without apologizing. asked me to go to the back so we could star working on the piece. He was trying to convince me to do something I didn't wanted. Because what I wanted in his words "wasn't cool". I said no to getting a random model's face on my arm and he visually got upset and said "ok ok. come back in 40 minutes" so I went to grab a coffee and came back and the design still wasn't what I wanted. So again he asked me to comeback in 20 minutes. and even after that we still had to chance the design a bit. While tattooing he was taking breaks EVERY 30 MINUTES to smoke or even just text on his phone. the tattoo took 4 hours to be done, so probably 3 hours if we didn't had any breaks and they still charged me a "full day rate" which technically not even a half day considering they're open 9 hours a day. My arm was very irritated, and looking around the shop everybody else's tattoo looked fine. Kyle uses a lot of filters on his Instagram. So dont trust what you see on his profile. Very disappointed with the tattoo I got for the price I paid

amazing shop, the below review of the artist smoking weed may be true, but in my experience it has only been people who arent working that day and are just hanging out with coworkers (i see nothing wrong with that). By far some of the best portrait work i've seen in a long time. Will be going there again for sure!!

They're all talented but you'd never ask LeBron to play football," are two quotes I overheard from employees of FY Ink, and they describe the shop well. This place is dedicated to high-quality results. The artists come in early and work long hours, and the results that come out of the shop are very apparent. Unfortunately, if you are not dedicated to the same high-quality results, your idea may never see the light of day. But there are only so many hours in a day, and FY Ink wants to ensure that each hour is spent on the best possible project. My experience with the shop was phenomenal because I came in with a very clear idea, something that they were very capable of doing, and I walked out with a fantastic piece. I will definitely be back to this shop. And if you have a dedication to high-quality work, you should check them out too.

I went into the shop in February looking for a custom sleeve in memory of my late wife who had just recently died of cancer. I spoke with higor and he seemed really excited about doing this tattoo but there was very little communication with him after that prior to my first scheduled sitting on May 27th. Multiple emails and Instagram messages were basically ignored and promises of a sketch of what he had designed for me were never available for me to review. Because of the extremely poor communication on their part I requested the return of my $400 deposit from Andrew, the shop manager, but as of this time I have yet been returned my deposit. To say I'm disappointed in this shop is an understatement. Stay away from these guys, they will rip you off!

I was recently tattooed by Kyle from Forever Young Ink. I am very impressed with his artistic work and customer service during the entire process, starting from our initial consultation in the months prior, to the end of our recent session. This tattoo exceeded my expectations and his professionalism and care during the entire process was top notch. Although this is not the first tattoo that I have, it was the first tattoo that I got from Kyle, and it WILL NOT BE THE LAST that I get from him. I highly recommend Kyle to anyone who wants an amazing quality tattoo, as he is very attentive to his client’s design goals and is able to provide his professional experience to enhance your vision, into something that you will be able to wear proudly for the rest of your life.
