Dynamic Studios is one of Kelownas best tattoo shops. When entering their business you can see a wall covered from floor to roof with trophies from tattoo conventions all across North America. The shop is extremely clean and nice to walk into. All of their staff is super warm and inviting and have beautiful portfolios for you to flip through. They offer a professional service and do an excellent job of tattooing. I'm excited for the next service that I get to book with Dynamic Studios and invite anyone who reads this to book for a wonderful experience.

I searched for years until I met Ryan and saw his work. The atmosphere is welcoming and the large, open, bright studio is rediculously clean and so much fun. I genuinely enjoy hanging out with everyone at Dynamic. And after spending some solid time there, I 100% recommend this studio. I tell people I dont even like tattoos, and that I just go there to hang out when I'm getting work done on my sleeve. If you're looking for stunning art, and for a business that makes you feel like family the moment you walk through the door- dynamic should be your first choice. 100%. I don't want to bash, or cut down others, but when I look at the ink put on so many people at the gym or out in public I truly feel blessed. Thank you ryan. ❤????

As of yet I haven't had any work done myself, but I was there with my best friend when we stopped in to have some work done on him. The guys were really professional, and very friendly. We saw Jake, and his interests and experience were exactly what we were looking for. It was also really a neat experience for me, because I have always thought about getting a tattoo, but having a ridiculously intense fear of needles, never got one. It was rather reassuring to hear that even some of these guys with tons of ink share my fear. I was really pleased with the whole experience, and so was my friend. We are already going back to see about more ink for him, and I have already asked for a tattoo for my birthday! ^_^

I tried to find a proper piecing place to pierce my 9 year olds ears. Dynamic said they would do it, and I felt confident in them. Their pre-appointment service was more professional than most spas I've been to. We were prepared and excited to get it done. My daughter is a pretty tough girl. She's had them done before but let them grow over. So she'd been begging to redo them. This time around, she made herself nervous and ended up fainting. The attentiveness of ALL of the staff was amazing. Our piecer, whom moonlights as a care aide, was right on top of it. The big tough tattoo artists (at least to a little girl) quickly came to tell her not to be embarrassed they've done the same thing. That really made her feel better. Thanks to all of you. I had my first tattoos done at this shop today and I was blown away! From the initial phone call with josh and his stellar customer service, right to my tattoos with Jimbow, everything was better than I could've ever expected. The shop was clean, everyone was laid back, there was friendly banter throughout the entire appointment which made the experience more relaxing for me. Jimbow was accommodating with every request I had, and even changed his whole set up so that we could start with the tattoo I wanted to start with first. I was not expecting to find such an amazing team and I will not be taking my business anywhere else. Keep up the great work guys!

I paid for a tattoo in full and only got half of the art piece done, and then afterwards the artist left, who was their employee and the company said I was out of luck and that no other artist would finish the rest of my piece for me, telling me I had to go find the original artist and pay again what I already paid to get it finished. VERY Disappointed in this company since they ran me around trying to get a bunch of details for them about my payment, only to tell me too bad and better luck next time. They told me to contact them back as well after I made this review to see what they could do for me only to look good for you guys and the public, only to not respond to me through any email or phone call that I tried, trying to get ahold of them to sort this issue out. VERY DISAPPOINTING of an establishment that speaks highly of itself and its business to do to a customer.

I had a very large, very black tattoo I had done on my leg a few years ago that I hated from the get go! I went everywhere and NOBODY would touch it (to try to cover it up)! Finally I went into Dynamic Studios and met Diego Chagall and was expecting to hear the same thing. To my surprise he told me he would do it!!! In 2 visits to dynamic studios he took something I hated seeing on my body and dreaded anyone else seeing and transformed it into something I am VERY PROUD to show off! I enjoyed seeing all the other artists at work and the finished pieces while i was there. I felt very at home in the shop too. Anyone looking to get any work done go to Dynamic Studios ! Went to Dynamic Studios for my very first tattoo (A very small piece) in September2018. I I was expecting so much but as it turned out, I had a horrible experience: the artist told me that if the piece that I want gets completed before an hour, he will ink another one for me. Although, he was able to complete the tattoo within 30 minutes; however, he said that he doesn’t want to ink another one for me and more devastatingly, he charged me for a whole freaking hour. Overall, really poor experience. The tattoo itself looked dull and I had to get some touchup. Not recommended at all! Not at all!

Let me preface this review with, I take responsibility for my nativity in the situation and for not speaking out when I was uncomfortable and just saying “no” and walking out. On June 3rd I went into Dynamic studios as a walk-in wanting just simple, small text on my hands that read “Let It Go” and “Be Kind”. I was met by the owner Ryan who was very friendly and told me they had a new artist available, Lucas Maccauley, to do my tattoo. I asked if his work was good and Ryan assured me he was great and that the simple text I was getting would be a breeze for the artist. I came to learn he was from my hometown and knew a lot of the same people I did. Ryan had me pick a font for a stencil, which I did, and then I waited for Lucas to come in. When he came in I showed him a reference photo for the style of tattoo I was looking for. He looked at it and said that it was a really simple tattoo. The receptionist told him that she would print a stencil for him from the font I had picked. Without even asking me, he told me he didn’t want the stencil and that he only did freehand. He didn’t even take the time to look at the font I had picked – which should have been first clue that he wasn’t an artist who was interested in what the client wanted. He had me sit down and drew with a sharpie on my hand the words. The first time around he wrote out the wrong words, without removing the sharpie he just drew overtop of the old sharpie (you could barely make out what it said) – which should have been my second clue to not get a tattoo from this studio. I looked at the sharpie and asked him if it was going to be this large; He assured me that it would not be that big and that he just wrote it that way to ensure that it was straight. He then went out for a smoke and said we would get started when he got back. When he came back I again asked if the tattoo was going to be this big and he again assured me it wouldn’t. He then got started, as he started doing the first few lines I commented again that the tattoo seemed really large and he again said that he was a professional and that I had to trust him and he knew what he was doing. At the end of the tattoo I was in shock – he asked me if I liked it and I lied and said I did. He charged me extra because he said I would have to come back for a touch up. In a daze I paid and left. I got to my car and started crying at this thing on my hand that looked like a frozen reference. (No, I didn’t ask for the dots around it) On June 7th I contacted Ryan and told him my situation, showed him my reference tattoo and what I had received and he took complete responsibility for the situation. Here’s a direct quote from him, “Lucas is a new with us hes a great tattooer he just came from a shop that really pushed him to do volume with not as much care and ive had a big talk with him about tge extra care attention we need to give the client” and then he went on to say “we will take care of you and get it all sorted out”. It's been almost two months of me reaching out and I still have not received my promised refund. If you want to go to a studio where they knowingly hire artists who do not listen to their clients and have no integrity with their word, then boy is this studio the studio for you. I would strongly recommend not listening to the reviews listed, as that was my inspiration for going to this studio. I believe my tattoos say enough. The fresh tattoo is what I got and the other is what I wanted.

My bestfriend and I went in to get matching tattoos and the experience was 10/10!! Josh at the front desk was very kind and checked in on us frequently, I didn't catch our artists name but he did an amazing job and our matching tattoos are now my favorite tattoos! The detail is amazing and we definitely plan on going back.

They do good work but the customer service is lacking. Had my tattoo started, my artist then moved across the country without notifying me, and trying to make an appointment to get it finished with another artist was just aweful. I dont live in town and ive been waiting 2 1/2 days without a reply to inform me if they had avaliability or not - they asked for photos of the current work so i sent them via email, they apperantly did not get the photos attached to message but did not write back to tell me . Instead only write back to ask me to edit my review and give excuses as to why they did not get back to me in a timely manner

I went to Dynamic Studios for my very first tattoo. The atmosphere is amazing. Everyone who works there is friendly and easy to talk to. Joe was the artist who did it and he came up with the perfect design that is exactly what I wanted. I was able to watch him prepare everything and this reassured me that the shop is very clean and all of the equipment they use is sterile. Such a great experience and I will definitely be returning!
