The shop is super clean and inviting, and the employees that I actually dealt with (Sarah and Brooklyn) were friendly and awesome! I came in with a very vague idea of what I wanted and Brooklyn gave suggestions that made my tattoo turn out amazing! She went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the finished piece. I would highly recommend her! This is my fifth tattoo and it’s my favourite one now. I would definitely go back to this shop in the future!

When I first did my consult, Graham was really nice and seemed really enthusiastic about it. But over a month before my appointment, and again about 10 days before, I sent an email to know about his thoughts on my ideas, and never heard from him till 2 days before the appointment, and I feel like it only happened because I called the studio to let them know I wasn’t feeling very comfortable with the whole situation. I know that the artists can be super busy, and it can be overwhelming to respond to everybody, and to work on each and everyone’s idea long before their appointment. But I at least expected a response. So that was a little frustrating.... specially if it is your first tattoo, and you don’t know how things work or what to expect. That being said..... now the good part! My tattoo turned out beautifully! Graham ended up doing a great job! When I arrived at the shop he had a sketch ready, which he was able to add some of the ideas I had given him on my email, and explained why some stuff would look good and others not so much! He is super knowledgeable on our Human anatomy as well, which makes us feel reassured he’s the guy for the job. Throughout the process he always made sure I was comfortable, he was super sweet and attentive to my well-being. All in all... Love his lines, traces, and colouring! Also... The place was very clean, roomy and tidy! Specially with this whole COVID thing... I felt very safe throughout the process! Although I seemed to have had an issue at the beginning.... I totally recommend the shop and specially Graham! Great artist!!

Michelle Grey, I got to know and find out that she is an incredibly talented artist. She loves doing anime and cartoon images as well as many other things. Pretty disappointed to book an appointment only to have the artist (Michelle) forget and not show up. I live an hour away so had to take the day off work for the appointment and didn't even receive an apology...I leave the country on Monday so was wanting a tattoo to represent my time in Canada so feel very let down!! Very unprofessional, sat there for almost 2 hours waiting. Still haven't heard from the studio- you think Michelle would have replied to my email asking where she was with an apology?! Complete waste of time and gas!

Went to see Graham and he was incredibly rude and condensing to both my mother and I. Acted rude throughout the entire appointment. The receptionist must be incompetent as well because we called and booked an hour long appointment EACH and asked for consultations, when we got there we were told they only gave us an hour total for BOTH our appointments. Graham then got mad at us for "taking up so much time" after it was THEIR fault for not booking enough time for us when we specifically asked for 2 hours. Overall it was a bad experience from the incredibly rude staff and condensing artists, after we paid full price for two appointments despite them online giving us an hour... expected at least a discount after we were treated so poorly. Graham also wrapped my mother's arm so tight when she took the wrap off her arm was bruised and the circulation was cut off!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP AT ALL IF YOU WANT A GOOD EXPERIENCE and ESPECIALLY do not recommend Graham.

Don’t Look Down Tattoo is the best!! It is very clean and all of the artists work hard to give you exactly what you want. I first discovered Don’t Look Down when my friends and I heard of a “Charity Tattoo Event” that they put on. They were doing flash design heart tattoos for a minimum donation of only $25, and all the proceeds went to the heart and stroke foundation. That is the coolest thing ever!! They managed to get a ton of people tattoo’d, raise lots of money, all while ensuring proper disinfection and cleanliness. I went back after that to see Brooklyn, and she spent at least 45 minutes with me just for a consult and gave me a tattoo that I LOVE. I’m super impressed by how clean her lines are! I am continuously impressed with the other artists work that i see on instagram. You can get a little bit of everything in this shop - traditional, realism, script, etc. Along with great customer service. I would definitely recommend!

I spent a few years debating whether or not I should close up my one inch stretched lobes, and after many jumps back and forth I decided to take the leap. I have personally known Charles coworker/someone he apprenticed for many years and since I've heard nothing but fantastic things about Charles from not only this coworker, as well as many people around Edmonton, I knew I could not go to anyone else. After shooting off a quick email explaining that I would like to get my lobes closed up (not knowing he moved to Kelowna) within hours he already responded and was willing to fly all the way back in order to guest spot and help me out! I trust very few individuals with this modification and I couldn't be more grateful to have someone so willing, professional, friendly, and skilled to suture up my lobes. Charles did a fantastic job. I constantly get asked about and complimented on how my earlobes now look. I would recommend Charles to everyone and anyone I know, including my own family! I look forward to seeing him guest spot in Edmonton once again!

5 stars isn't enough for this place! I have had two 7 hour sessions with Clay now for a sleeve and he has exceeded my expectations. Especially since this is my first tattoo. I had been debating having my ear lobes repaired, and after lots of research and several recommendations, booked with Charles. He was friendly, professional, and answered all my questions beforehand. The procedure itself was a breeze. Charles has great attention to detail and my lobes looks awesome! Im now at 2 months healed and the aftercare instructions have greatly reduced scarring. At first, dropped by to see a new artist named Dustin. Dustin shared an idea, we agreed, all seemed great and he was going to fit me in on a day and time. Missed that day, no show and totally un-prepared when we re-scheduled. Clay, the owner felt bad and offered to do the piece. We agreed in a price, timeline and design. The night before I get a message that he hasn’t done a drawing and wants to charge me $800 more dollars on the deal we agreed too. No reason whatsoever. Oh ya, and he now only accepts cash. Super shady. Rather than honour the deal or find a reasonable solution night before the tattoo, he says he’s no longer willing to do it. I took two days off work for this. So… in short… extremely poor service and a complete lack of honour, integrity and consideration. Seemed like a great guy. Unfortunately recommend using someone else.

The work done on me and all the other clients I saw come through was top notch. It was an 8hr sit but it really didn't feel like it! Got a tattoo from Dustin, he did an amazing job. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. There was some minor miscommunication with a previous deposit paid to another artist, unfortunately it was not able to be honoured. But Dustin charged me a little less and they did what they could to honour it. Super nice people to deal and will definitely be getting a tattoo from them again.

Horrible shop from the front end of the shop to the artists to ownership. Was referred by a friend to this shop and was shown countless times how much my and the people I referred here how much our business and money doesn't mean to them. Michelle tattooed the wrong date onto my friend who was given the correct date, as was getting this tattoo for his father. He was charged full price for the tattoo and was shown zero remorse from Michelle or anyone else. Then when we asked how the best plan of attack was to get it fixed we were pretty much told we were on our own. Then with my tattoo, after being shown the worst customer service not only in the tattoo industry but just in general, Michelle decided she did not want to finish the piece she started on me after I was already almost 1300 dollars into it already. Then I offered her 200 dollars just to get the artwork for it so I could go somewhere else to get it finished and she didn't even reply. I tried to get in contact with the owner and was emailing back and forth with who I thought was him, but was actually the guy who worked at the front desk posing as him. Finally clay got back in contact with me over Instagram and after all of this I was still willing to have the situation dealt with and resolved in a civil matter. He said he was going to review the scenario and my messages and get back to me in the morning. I waited a week with no response, messaged him after this time asking If they had reached a solution. I saw he read the message and just didn't reply. Then After waiting one more day he said there was nothing he could do. DO NOT GO GET ANY WORK DONE HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, PROFESSIONALISM, OR YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SHOP

I just had my second piece done by Clay and I must say, he exceeded my expectations. He worked with me on the design but he took creative lead on it of course... it worked out better than I imagined. Tight, tight lines! This was a chest piece that I've left blank during my 14 years of tattoo-collecting...so I waited for the right piece/ artist. His uniqueness and diversity aren't found often in the saturated market that is the tattoo industry. A breathe of fresh air! I drove 3 hours to get to the shop.
