Fast food, ice cream, fried food, and T Shirts. A boardwalk without any water underneath it, this is a place created solely to get the tourists' money. Skip it; it is not worth your time.

I have seen boardwalks in my life and this one is not the greatest. It is a local tourist trap and mothing is authentic from PEI, a lot of « made in China » stuff in the shops. Nothing outstands itself there... There is better places to go on the island to buy real authentic souvenirs and eat local food.

The Cavendish Boardwalk is really the heart of Cavendish and is home to many stores and restaurants. There have been many upgrades to the facilities in recent years and many new shops have opened up. Great place to stop for shopping and a bite to eat.

This place e was fun too. We got to have the Cows famous ice cream. A bit pricey but it did taste good. In this are down a bit from the board walk is teddy bear village. You get to pick your bear, or whichever animal you would like. They put the stuffing in it and you get to choose the outfits as well. Lovely place for a child to get a special teddy. It's not cheap. I think a teddy and a set of clothes was around $35-$45. Depending on the size of the stuffed animal. Some are bigger than others.

Xpressions is not doing airbrush Tattoos this summer due to coronavirus. Few stores are very very warm, have no air circulation and use small air-conditioning placed in the back of the store. Right now, clothing is on sale.

Not all stores are open. Restaurant is seasonal and closed Sept. 7th. Needs more picnic tables as cows ice cream is very popular and everyone stands around blocking the boardwalk. The picnic area is nice just not big enough.

Pros: Prices not too bad by U.S. standards. I found a good shirt in one of the stores. Lots of fast eating options if your kids are starving. Feels friendlier than a strip mall. Cons: Stores have very kitschy, very tourist focused items themed around P.E.I. Long walk outside isn't great in rain. Staff seemed indifferent. Most of the merchandise is made overseas. The locally made items are very kitschy and not for my tastes, but if you like quippy mugs and shirts with seashells, this is your place.

This is one of those must stop places in Cavendish... Just be warned that prices are high! They have resturants, gift shops, apparel shops, an arcade, and oddly enough even a tattoo and piercing parlor. The Anne of Green Gables chocolates are TO DIE FOR, though again... Expensive for the amount you get.

A nice little stop on our way to Cavendish Beach. It's like a beautiful village-like plaza with a quint little shops and restaurants. Our kids love this stop because they had ice-cream at Cows and Beaver Tails. Expect to spend 30 minutes or more here.

Small boardwalk with souvenir shops and a few places to eat. Some how I forgot to grab a few souvenirs for family members who couldn't make the trip so I was in a rush at 10 at night. Since we were staying in the Sunset Campground right near the boardwalk we decided to check it out. Although it said it was open till 11, a lot of the Shops closed at 10. Thankfully a really awesome shop owner let us in to look around even though he was closed. I really appreciated his kindness. We ended up getting some neat gifts and I found the prices reasonable. I was a bit worried after reading some reviews saying it was expensive, but over all prices were fair. Again, we only checked out one place. We also stopped to grab some ice cream at the cows and it was so good. It was a nice ending to a very busy day! Definitely tourist driven, but what does one expect in a place full of tourists?

Well, it is not by a waterfront, but close to the Cavendish Beach. It is a good place to stop as let everyone in your family pick what they want to eat from all the potions available, and have Cow's icecream...have patience to stand I a queue for this one. I liked the picnic tables outside. A few more of those will be a good idea. It was crowded the day we went and people were looking for a place to sit. This is the only place in Cavendish where we could bring our dog with us. Chocolates are a must try from Anne of Green Gables.

I have been to pei for the past 4 summers. Cavendish boardwalk has everything you need for souvenirs to food. The beavertails are to die for! Love the place!

I found this place to be very cute and interesting to walk around there are a fair amount of shops and restaurants to visit. I think it would benefit from a few more seating areas to be put in as I saw some people sitting on the stairs. Other than that. An entertaining place to check out

Nice little place to walk around. Lots of shops. Most with all the same thing. Some even cost more then the other. Example, a bottle of red sand was $3.99 at one shop but $7.99 at another. Stuff is still fairly cheap though.

The Boardwalk is a great place to visit and shop for clothing and souvenirs. I believe it could be better with more picnic tables with umbrellas for visitors to sit and enjoy there meal or ice cream without having to sit on handrails and blocking other visitors from shopping.

OK I love Cows ice cream shop. Think of it as PEI's answer to Ben & Jerry's. The remainder of the shops cater to the tourist in need of a momento. There are a few bargains to be found depending on what you are looking for. Pizza delight offers some pizza and pasta dishes for the hungry visitor.
