Went to Dennis at Patayin for my first tattoo, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. 10/10 would get tattooed there again. I was understandably nervous, first tattoo and all, so Dennis started slow with the outline of the stencil could I could see how it felt. Didn't hurt all that bad to be honest. He kept checking on me to make sure I was doing ok, and he did notice when he was going over an area that was more painful for me, as I would tense up or hold my breath. The guy pays attention to you, and I think that's really important. The studio is the epitome of cleanliness and organization. You can tell Dennis takes great pride in his workspace. The drawings on the walls are his own (lil MJ is my favorite). The man himself is great! He took my design, and did it the way *I* wanted. I emphasize the *I* because that is so important when getting inked. You are the one living with it on your skin for the rest of your life, make sure it looks how YOU want it to look, and Dennis understands this, and has NO ego about it. Oh, and he let's you control the music in the studio, which I hadn't even thought of going in, but was a super nice touch.

IMO the special attention they provide plus the easy going and friendly atmosphere makes this place stand above the rest. The shop owner is a super nice guy, ego free and works with you to build your tattoo the way you want it. I’m always big on supporting the little guy (sorry Dennis, no pun intended) Did I mention he’s like 5 feet tall? Ha ha! All jokes aside, if you’re looking to get lots of work done a licensed private studio is the way to go! Give them a call, best thing I’ve ever done.

This past Monday (Aug 1, 2021) I got new ink done by Dennis, the owner of Patayin Tattoo Co. HANDS DOWN, this was my BEST Tattoo experience i've ever had!! I had 11 tattoos prior to this visit. Dennis did 5 smaller tattoos in one sitting for me. His technique was impressive and even though I selected placements where I anticipated it to hurt, I felt little to no pain...NO SERIOUSLY, I'm not kidding!! He was very professional, he is very personable, and he is a VERY TALENTED ARTIST! His studio is a perfect size, very clean and I felt comfortable the entire time. I would recommend anyone who is out seeking a fantastic tattoo experience, whether it be your first tattoo or you 100th, to reach out and contact Dennis to book! I will for sure be going back once i've built up more tattoo ideas to get inked.

I discovered Dennis through searching for tattoo shops in Kitchener. His name definitely stood out as I was familiar with the Tagalog word so I decided to check out his website. From from consultation to the finished piece, Dennis makes getting a tattoo easier than renewing your passport. He's not pushy and arrogant like most tattoo artist. His portfolio of styles is more broad than the typical artist who sticks to specifics. He took my idea and made it better but at the same time not chopping up the original idea. I've gone back at least 6 times and will continue until I got no more space????

The cleanliness of the studios I go to is very important to me, and I was extremely happy with it. Great experience getting my tattoo done with Denis. He has a basement studio setup in his home and it is just as impressive and professional as any commercial tatto shop. You can tell that he is very passionate about his craft and he was also very attentive during the process. He would check up on me every couple minutes to make sure I can handle the pain and whether I wanted to take a break. I will definitely be coming back for more tattoos.
