Back when Lucky’s was only in North Hampton, I used to drive all the way there from Boston for piercings. Much to my joy, they opened a second shop in Boston. I have been getting piercings here since it opened. Like every other Lucky’s location, cleanliness, kindness, and professionalism is above all else. The front desk staff (Nic especially) are all tremendously kind and knowledgeable. All piercers are professional and go above and beyond to ensure the client is safe and satisfied. I am so happy Lucky’s is now in Boston as well, but if it meant having to drive over an hour to get piercings again, I’d do it. They are absolutely worth it.

I LOVE Lucky's and will never get a piercing or tattoo anywhere else in Boston again. I got my third lobes done about a year and a half ago by Lars, and just added a daith on Saturday also by Lars. Lars is my favorite piercer I've ever gone to, they have an incredible bedside manner and even if you're on your first piercing or your ninth, they'll take care of you. Sam on counter is so knowledgable and helped me pick out the perfect jewelry. As a trans person, I always feel so safe going into this shop. Seriously, it deserves more than 5 stars. Go to Lucky's!!

This review isn't for my tattoo, which I had to reschedule, but instead for how I was treated today. I called twice this morning to no answer to see if the shop was open after the snow storm, and eventually emailed my artist as a last ditch effort. I informed him I would be a bit late as it takes a while to get there, especially with the snow. The mbta was also delayed, but i trekked out there anyways. I was fine with the possibilty of reacheduling, don't wanna rush a tattoo. However, when I explained (and apologized) for being late and that I had called, I was met with the rudest mix of I must have called another shop and I didn't call. The person at the front continued to be snippy, saying they would have heard me call, so I couldn't have. I rescheduled with my artist and it was very awkward to stand there.This person at the front even continued to be rude when I asked if I could rest real quick before turning right back around and travelling over an hour back home. Again, I am not upset I had to reschedule. Stuff happens. I'm just bummed at how I was treated. I will probably just get my tattoo and never come back. And my piercings were such a good experience, but maybe that was just a fluke.

First off, THANK YOU PATRICK TIERNEY I am so in love with my new piece!!! Parlor was very clean, everyone was really nice and accommodating. Everyone had on masks & there was hand sanitizer. I honestly felt safer getting my tattoo here than I did when I went out to eat for my birthday lol. Made me feel really comfortable and even though they mentioned they were down a staff member, they still handled everything with ease! I went to Lucky's specifically for Patrick Tierney, he is my sisters tattoo artist and I needed one for myself after seeing how good the work was. He's amazing, hands down my favorite tattoo yet! He cares about his work and put it a lot of effort, we even went over our planned time because that's how thorough he is. I told him like 4 words and he drew up an absolute masterpiece. It was a little too big for my arm while I was there so we resized it and it fit perfectly. Be vocal about what you want if you need to change something, he was very accommodating and wants to make sure you're happy! I already can't wait for my next one :)

I have a buncha piercings from different folks over the years and I have to give Lars so much credit for giving me the best experience I’ve had getting pierced, like, ever. The piercing itself looks amazing, Lars was thourough in explaining the process, and they made me feel immediately comfortable when I walked into their studio space. I have been going to Lucky's for my piercings since I first moved to Boston a few years ago! I've had my septum, daith, conch, and helix(es) pierced here, and every experience has been fantastic. The folks at the counter are always so, so helpful in picking out jewelry, and the piercers are always professional and make the process super easy. I have also been tattooed here, and that experience was also great. They make their sterilization very visible, and I have always felt confident in my health and safety being prioritized. After having gone in during COVID, I think they do an excellent job of exercising caution and care with appointments. I felt very comfortable with the number of people in the shop, mask wearing policy, and cleanliness.

The front desk staff were kind about showing me things in my budget and even gave me a total before my appointment started. Lars was my piercer and they were so amazing!! They walked me through everything regardless of how small it was. They were super upbeat and excited about the whole process and made me feel good about asking questions. I can not say enough great things about Lucky's! I was pretty nervous as I don't have many piercings beyond two single lobe piercings, so going in for 4 (second lobe on each ear, tragus, and helix on one ear) all at once was a little nerve-wracking. However, Lars made it the best experience possible. They made sure I was informed about the process and care, and they checked in with me to see how I was doing throughout. Lars was attentive, kind, and it was a pleasure to be pierced by them! They also helped me curate the ear of my dreams! I cannot wait to go and get more piercings once these heal!

Lucky’s is an inclusive, judgement free, and safe space. I know I can trust everyone on the team and they’re all super kind and patient! I’ve gotten 2 tattoos from Drae and each time they’ve made me feel very comfortable, and I have no doubt that the rest of the staff do the same. What I love most about lucky’s is that most of the staff are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and can therefore make members of the LGBTQ+ feel welcome and appreciated.

Best piercing place in Boston area! I have tried 5-6 different places downtown and in Cambridge, and none have come even remotely close to the professionalism of Lucky's. I went into Lucky’s for a relatively simple jewelry change in an existing nostril piercing, but the experience was great!! Choosing the new jewelry was great, the person I worked with showed me all of my options and helped me find options I liked within my budget. I had Clinton change my jewelry, and he was great as well! It was a little bit more of a process to get the new ring in, but Clinton was patient, explained everything he was doing, and made me feel super comfortable. 10/10 would recommend!!

I went to Lucky's the other day to get my Conch piercing, Lars was so personable and great I felt so supported and aware of what was happening during the piercing. Talk about a fun person to be around! On top of that, the human who helped me pick out jewelry initially before the piercing (I believe their name was Jo) was so thoughtful and patient with me, they actually helped me choose my piece. Overall, Lucky's is the best and I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Okay these people are just...straight up rude. I’ve been here twice out of pure necessity due to location, and both times I was lectured and treated like a child. They told me that *I* was mishandling my piercing, even though it had no infection, no pain, no pus, nothing. They changed out the jewelry and bam! Huge infection that took weeks to heal. Not to mention they overprice everything. The exact same jewelry (brand, size, color) here is upcharged about $10-$15 at minimum from comparable shops. Honestly, I’m paying a literal fortune to buy and put in quality piercing jewelry, I’m really not looking to be lectured at the same time. Save your time, save your money, and quite honestly save your dignity.

I’ve gotten my septum and industrial pierced from the Boston location, I have very mixed feelings. My septum healed nicely so I decided to go back for my industrial. The staff up front was very friendly and I appreciate that they told me the overall price before I got the piercing so I knew what to expect, but the piercer seemed very rushed and didn’t let me see the marks before piercing. I followed all their aftercare instructions including salt water soaks and cleaning solution but my piercing wasn’t healing right. So I called the location and they didn’t care, they put all the blame on me. I went to another piercing shop and they told me the reason that it was still so inflamed and angry was because the bar it was pierced with was WAY to short even though I spent a LOT of money on it. I ended up having the other shop switch it out for a proper fitted bar and it is finally healing nicely (after 8 months of constant irritation). Now I am thinking about getting my tongue pierced but am seriously thinking of not going back here because if they can’t properly fit an industrial, I’m really concerned about properly fitting my tongue to account for the swelling.

I've been to Lucky's several times now for tattoo, piercing, and jewelry change services and I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else! The folx that work here are incredibly knowledgeable and kind. The space is welcoming and clean. From my conversations with the staff it sounds like the ownership/management really "walk the walk," - they have created a super queer competent space, with talented artists and staff, and always prioritize the safety of staff and clients. I most recently worked with Lars and Kelsey, on some new ear piercings and jewelry, and they are both WONDERFUL. They were a blast to work with. The jewelry selection is great. Can't wait to go back again soon!!

I got a conch piercing at Lucky's and it was a perfect experience. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and helpful. Clinton pierced my ear and it was practically painless. He made me feel safe and cared for. It's definitely not cheap, but in my opinion, the quality of the expertise and jewelry used was well worth it. Also, everyone used gender neutral pronouns for me since I didn't share my pronouns, so a very queer-affirming space!

I recently had an appointment scheduled to get my nose pierced that I was late to because of train issues. Although I was late, the tone which I was spoken to both on the phone and in person was rude, unfriendly and very unwelcoming. I understand that my lateness was an inconvenience, but as someone who has worked in customer service for four years it, I know that doesn't take a lot to be kind, especially for the prices they charge, the employees should at least try to be nice.

I had an amazing experience tonight at Lucky’s! I made a cartilage piercing appointment and when I showed up the woman at the front desk helped me pick the best jewelry for my piercing. She was very knowledgeable and was very clear about pricing, healing times, and potential risks. The store itself is very tidy and trendy looking inside, and the individual rooms are clean. You can tell they take cleanliness seriously- not just in Covid Times. My piercer Clinton was SO sweet and gentle! Very accommodating and kind. Piercing went smoothly and I felt very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this place for piercings, and I’ve seen amazing tattoos from the artists there as well!!!!

Lucky’s is my go to place for anything tattoo or piercing related. Patrick MacDonald has been tattooing me since 2014 and every time I have an appointment I am blown away by his artistic abilities. Patrick is kind, patient, and gentle. He is aware of peoples sensitivities and always checks in to make sure I am okay when undergoing a tattoo. Patrick is versatile and can tackle any tattoo project due to his years of tattooing experience. I normally throw an idea at Patrick (ex:“I want bones and flowers”) and let him interpret how the design should look amongst my existing tattoos. He always nails what I am envisioning. Lucky’s overall is an amazing studio. LGBTQIA+ friendly. I always feel safe and respected here. Iva had my nose pierced here and have had multiple jewelry changes by the piercing staff who are also as kind and friendly as Patrick. Highly recommend this place! Best tattoo parlor in all of New England in my opinion :)

I have been to Lucky's in Cambridge twice now for piercings, both times with Lars. They are amazing. So welcoming and helpful and kind. The first time I saw them was for a cartilage piercing which went very well and is healing beautifully. I was worried about healing a cartilage since I was having trouble with another one (not done at Lucky's), but Lars explained how to take care of it and the piercing was so well done that I have had no problems. The second time I saw them was to swap out a ring in the other cartilage piercing that I had done somewhere else. This one was not healing well and Lars helped me swap it out and it already feels 10x better. The studio itself is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and inviting. The jewelry selection is extensive and high quality. The front of house staff are equally helpful and friendly. I tell everyone to go to Lucky's and now would never go anywhere else!

I typically never write reviews but my experience and service at Lucky's a few weeks ago really made me feel comfortable and accepted. Piercing and service staff were great! I was serviced by someone named Kelsey and they were so informative and friendly (almost felt like an old friend). They helped me to pick out the perfect jewelry for me and I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. Sometimes staff at shops aren't always the friendliest or most receptive so Kelsey was a breath of fresh air. I cannot wait to go back and get more piercings; I'm sure the entire staff will make sure any of you will be taken care of well! I would recommend Lucky's to anyone.

I have never been so inclined to write a bad review, as I am right now. I called ahead to ask whether or not walk ins were being taken— I was told ‘Yes!’ And urged to head right over. After a $17 Uber ride I was there in 20 minutes. I was then told to wait as the man who was taking walk-ins was ABOUT to call another woman in. Instead of talking to me real quick, to establish if what I wanted was doable, before getting started with her, he did not. He passed right by me, called her in and came out almost forty-five minutes later. Just to glance at the tattoo I wanted for less than 10 seconds and conclude it was ‘too simple’ for him to do. They turned me away in 3 minutes after having wasted both my time, money and energy. I will NOT be going back, and I will be sure to NOT recommend this game place to anyone. I have five tattoos and have never witnessed that nor had that happen. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

I've had my septum and earlobes pierced at Lucky's - don't have a single bad word to say. Everyone I've worked with is professional and good at their job. Not the cheapest shop out there, but if you want to save $$$ while getting a piercing, I'd suggest just getting fake jewelry instead. Or - support the industry and make sure your permanent body modifications are done somewhere reputable like Lucky's.

They both have great style & gave me their opinions on each piece, as well as helped me figure out which would look best on my ear while also fitting my style. I was recently tattooed by Caleb in the Cambridge location and cannot recommended him enough! I am floored by how creative and talented he is. To start, he really did an amazing job interpreting my reference images into his own style. When we started the appointment he had his drawings laid out and we could immediately get down to playing with placement and size. He was very chill and didn’t make me feel guilty or silly about moving it and shifting the design. He makes the process feel very collaborative. While laying out the design I also discussed the future add-on I hoped to do with the tattoo. He was very helpful in giving feedback about how the placement would help for adding on in the future. During the process he was attentive, easy to talk to, and informative. The tattoo we did was my largest and longest appointment to date so it was nice to have him explain what was going on, what was coming next, and how much longer. I’ll say maybe the best part of my appointment was when we realized we’d be finishing my tattoo earlier than expected. Caleb mentioned he could do the add-on we had discussed when figuring out the placement. I gave him a quick reference photo, we chatted about price, and went for it! I was a teeny bit nervous of how it’d turn out with him having zero prep ahead of time for this new part but *wow*. He is very talented and really blew my expectations out of the water. I left our appointment with a gorgeous badass piece that is unlike anything I’ve seen on anyone else! So very excited to hopefully work with Caleb in the future!

Came in again today to have another nose piercing with Lars, they were incredibly informative, professional, and overall kind! The front desk staff was also resourceful in picking out new jewellery. I usually don’t write reviews even if the service is bad, but I have to say that my last experience at Luckys really disappointed me. They are appointment only (which is totally understandable). The door is locked from the inside and you have to ring a bell and wait to be let in. I rang the bell several times and several people walked by the door and even made eye contact with me, but none of them ever came to open the door. When I was finally let in, the woman at the desk was extremely rude and passive aggressive. She asked me what gauge my nose ring was and I wasn’t sure and she gave me an attitude about me knowing. She was MAD at me for not knowing. It made me pretty uncomfortable as a client, as her tone was very unsettling. One of the piercers was kind enough to take a look at it and see what it was. After I picked out my ring, I was ready to be rung up. It was supposed to be a quick appointment (as the site says). I wait for her to ring me up and she proceeds to answer a phone call in front of me for SEVERAL minutes, totally ignoring the fact that I am standing there ready to check out and leave. They advertise on the site that they book quickly and that appointments happen during certain time slots, so it was weird to me that she would keep me waiting for so long. She eventually got off the phone and rung me up. My usual experience at luckys is great, so I was really sad to have had this experience. However, the girl with the black hair and blonde bangs was extremely rude and has ruined my perception of this business.

I got a piercing here and all seemed to be completely fine, however the front part of my piercing fell out less than a month after getting it. I’ve had several piercings over the years and none have fallen out until now. From what I understand, they are supposed to be very secure. A long backing is supposed to be used for new piercing incase there is swelling, but this doesn’t appear to have been the case because despite my piercing being mostly healed (so no swelling) there is very little space for the post to move, I’m not completely surprised it fell off. I feel like this is the fault of the piercer because they chose the backing. As someone who is definitely not a professional piercer myself I have to trust that they are choosing the right size and this does not appear to be the case here. I also feel that it’s their fault because of the fact that I’ve never had a piercing fall out like that, and I have had a lot of the same piercings for over a year, nothing has happened to them. I’m really disappointed this happened.

Right from the beginning, I could tell that they take their Covid procedures very seriously. They even ask that you don't turn off the bathroom light or fan to minimize the surfaces you touch. It was well lit, modern construction that was obviously well kept and spacious with private rooms for tattooing and piercing. They had a large selection of jewelry to choose from, including implant grade titanium which is what I chose. They ask you how you prefer to be addressed and what pronouns you use which was pretty cool and told me my piercers name and pronouns. Clinton was my piercer and I told him right away I was nervous. He told me that we would go over everything in detail before we got started. He was very professional and went slowly for me. It was a very positive experience and it was over before I knew it. Getting my eyebrows threaded hurt more than getting my nose pierced. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an experienced piercer!

My appointment was cancelled the day prior do to my piercer being out sick. I came to the studio the day my appointment had been to reschedule, and they managed to fit me in anyway. The desk staff was really helpful and friendly. I had my nipples pierced by Clinton. He was warm and professional. I never felt uncomfortable. He explained the whole process before as well as throughout the piercings. A little pricey, but based on the cleanliness and quality of the studio and services, it was worth it. I will definitely be going back to lucky's for more body modification.

To be honest, I was very dissatisfied with my visit here. While eventually warming up, Christine the piercer was very cold, rude and did not make what can be an intimidating experience any more comfortable. While my piercing came out fine, my friends was crooked and did not line up with the mark that was put on her ear. The prices (while I understand is quality jewelry) are extremely overpriced (I've been going to piercers and jewelry stores all over the country and I'm familiar with what the prices should be). They also won't let you take photo or video which is absolutely ridiculous. They also make any friends or family stand away from the person being pierced which seems over the top in terms of safety and rules. They also asked me to a sign a form and did not explain what anything meant. The one nice part was the last at the front was kind. I will not be returning.

Had my nostril pierced with Clinton yesterday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ve been to a few shops in the area for tattoos and piercings and this will be my go-to shop moving forward. The store was clean and spacious, and the Covid protocols were very solid. There was enough space for social distancing and plenty of hand sanitizer everywhere. All staff and clients were wearing masks. The two staff at the front desk who helped me check in/out and pick my jewelry were friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel welcome (even asking about my pronouns!). The jewelry selection had the options I was looking for and the prices were reasonable. Clinton was the sweetest and made sure to answer all my questions and talk me through the piercing process. My nose stud looks great! It’s in the perfect spot. I can’t recommend the Lucky’s staff highly enough.

Went here for a nose piercing, the front staff was super friendly and that's one of the reasons why I made the decision to get pierced there. However the piercer Christine was so cold, unfriendly and took away from the whole experience. Getting a piercing is so nerve wrecking as it is and she made it ridiculously uncomfortable and tense. There wasn't an introduction or any kind of dialogue. I have been to other parlors before and this is the first time I left a parlor regretting my decision. I literally left thinking damn I should have went to another parlor because of her negative energy. The experience went from "yay can't wait for my nose piercing to jeez what was her problem". Completely sucked the joy out of the room and experience to point I felt compelled to write a review especially for the price I paid to get pierced. Nonetheless, she did her job hence the 2 stars and not a 1 but a little warmth goes a long way especially if you want reoccurring customers. I don't typically write reviews but I felt it was necessary for Lucky’s to know this information for future customers.

I went to Lucky's in Cambridge to have a helix piercing done, and they were incredibly kind and knowledgeable from the very beginning. The employees at the front desk asked for our preferred names and pronouns when I checked in with my friend and helped us pick out our jewelry. Clinton did my helix piercing and he kindly walked me through the process and answered all of my questions because it was my first new piercing since I had my earlobes done at a Claire's as a kid. I love my new piercing and will be going back to Lucky's to do any jewelry changes or piercings in the future :) Overall, the staff at Lucky's are fantastic people and the store is clean and professional. Not the greatest experience. I went in to get a piercing and while the staff up front were very friendly and helpful, I feel like I was completely overcharged and didn't get what I paid for at all. The piercer seemed very rushed and like he couldn't be bothered with me even though I was paying so much. When he marked out the piercing on my ear, he literally almost went in and did the piercing without even giving me the chance to see what he was going to do which really bothered me. Everywhere else I've ever gone, the piercer would always ask what I thought and show me several options of how they could do the piercing. When I got up to look on the mirror, he yelled at me right away because I had pulled the paper away so i could actually see my ear. I probably glanced at it for a few seconds before he ushered me over to the table to resanitize. He seemed really bothered that I did that which I appreciate because I'm happy they want to keep everything very clean, but the rudeness was really uncalled for and I just didnt feel comfortable or welcomed there. There is no doubting he is very experienced and the actual piercing process went smoothly. He ended up remarking the last spot (there were three), and that one I definitely did not see. I tipped him because I always feel that I should, but I honestly wish I hadn't. I had already been charged a ridiculous amount of money and didn't get good service or what I wanted. After I got home and actually looked at the piercing, I realized it was not done the way I wanted. Both the spacing and placement was not good and I had had no opportunity to talk about what I wanted while I was there so this was the result. Even though I'd seen great examples of the piercing on his portfolio, he didn't take the time to make sure I was getting what I wanted. I ended up removing the third piercing (the one that he remarked) three days later because I was so unsatisfied and saw no point in having it heal in that spot. Hopefully, the area heals and I can go somewhere else and have the piercing placed where I actually want it. I called the store because I wasn't sure what to do before removing it and needed some guidance or suggestions and wanted to speak to a piercer about possible options or ideas about what to do with it. They didn't want to talk with me at all and told me I was on my own and that they can't tell me what to do. Obviously it was up to me, but I figured they might care since I paid them so much and they'd care about the outcome of their service and artwork. Clearly they don't. I've always stuck to very few piercers that I've grown to know and trust over the years and wish I'd continued to do that. Lucky's seemed to me to be one of the best places in the area and I was really excited to go there. I'm absolutely disappointed with their service and treatment and I feel like my ear has been ruined after I paid so much. Definitely will not be returning. Update: it's been about three and a half months since I got my piercing and my ear is in pretty bad shape. I've had the piercing looked at by other piercers in the area and they have all told me that my ear should definitely not look so angry and inflamed if I am taking proper care of it to ensure a good healing process. It is extremely red and swollen and never seems to calm down and the posts are definitely not long enough which I think adds to the discomfort. To top it off, I've gotten other piercings since then and while they were in other parts of my ear, they are healing very well and don't look nearly as bad as this one. I'm not sure what is causing this, but I have a feeling it may be the jewelry because there is no reason why the area should be staying so irritated.

The only bone that I have to pick is that when I had to change out my post for a shorter one, I had called in advance to get a quote. The person I spoke to on the phone assured me that my total would come out to $10, so I paid that initial down payment of $10. After I came in to have it changed I was charged with an additional $10. After explaining my situation, the woman at the counter was rude and not understanding. I just wish i had known going into the situation that I would end up paying double what I had expected.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I've been to a lot of terrible piercing/tattoo shops and this place stood out as fantastic so I thought I'd show some love. I came here because I've had a piercing (I got elsewhere) that's been hurting me for a while and I wanted to get some advice on whether I should change it or take it out and let it heal. Lars was the piercer who helped me and they gave honest advice about what to do and were super gentle and quick. They ended up just taking out my piercing because it wasn't in an ideal position and as soon as my ear is ready for it, I'll definitely come back here to get pierced again. My friends and I all got ear piercings here. All of our piercings got infected even though we cleaned them everyday. Mine got so bad I ended up in Boston Children’s Hospital because the earring was stuck in my ear. Doctor’s said it was due to the way it was pierced. Very nice staff but I wish I did not spend over $100 just to end up in the ER because of it.

Had a short wait due to many people getti g piercings but once I was up, was done within 10~ minutes or so amd had a nice chat with the person doing my piercing. The building is extremely clean and the front desk staff went over all prices beforehand and were extremely friendly. My piercer Clinton was professional, friendly, and comforting. I got my first tattoo ever done with Caleb Colpitts at Lucky's Cambridge location. Their space is very clean and organized and all staff members were very professional. Caleb, in particular, was extraordinarily patient and explained every step of the process very clearly - this made the process seem very manageable and predictable, even though it was my first tattoo. I was a little nervous about getting a tattoo without being able to consult with the artist in person, but Caleb was extremely thorough and responsive throughout our email communications. The designs were very well thought out and greatly exceeded my expectations. The tattoos themselves came out absolutely beautiful. I was also offered the opportunity to give my opinion on design and placement throughout the process - it certainly felt like Caleb was making a genuine effort to ensure my comfort (even asking if there was any music in particular I'd like to listen to throughout the session) and satisfaction with the outcome. At no point did the process seem rushed and I felt completely comfortable making requests or giving suggestions. Everything from the decor to the staff, and of course the final tattoos, made this an incredibly enjoyable experience. The friends I've shown my tattoos to have all praised their intricate and carefully placed details and their artistry. I could probably look at them all day. There is no pain nor soreness and they seem to be healing very well. I would strongly recommend Lucky's and Caleb to anyone looking to get a tattoo, even if it is their first one.

Absolutely wonderful. I have had my nose pierced prior and this was so much better. Some pain but nothing compared to before. Thorough aftercare and I felt very safe. And the staff was so kind. My only issue was my own fault, the display case was so shiny and the piece that I thought I was buying was a cz stone but, it was hammered white gold. A little disappointed in myself for that but I’ll just get what I wanted next time I go in. Seriously best piercing experience to date.

My experiences with Lars, Clinton, and Heather were always professional and friendly. My septum was a little bit crooked and they were happy to repierce it for me for free even two months later. They all will walk you through the whole process including aftercare. Everything is clean and sterile! Range of jewelry selections is abundant and diverse. Won’t go anywhere else for piercings now. The whole shop is so clean, feels very safe during covid, and just in general. I’ve seen Heather twice and she’s done a beautiful job on both my ears, great placement and she makes it pretty quick and painless, and visibly sterilizes everything. Lucky's takes walk-ins - I wanted a Helix and Forward Helix piercing. Piercings are $30 each and jewelry ranges from $40 for basic titanium to several hundred per piece with diamonds. There is a wide range of jewelry to choose from and many staff to help. My piercer was professional, knowledgeable and experienced. I felt comfortable throughout the process. I know other studios offer comparable high quality services for a little less, like Chameleon. I was not mentally prepared to spend a few hundred dollars but wanted piercings I wouldn't trust someone at Claire's or Piercing Pagoda to do. Expect to spend $100+ a piercing for the jewelry you want, and ask about coupons (there was a BOGO on the piercing part, but not on jewelry). The space is well lit and the rooms are surgically sterile. Since I didn't bother to call other places on pricing, I'll only say that I had a great highly professional clean experience here. Update: my forward helix is severely swollen and the earring is embedded - not sure why this happened, but a longer post might’ve helped...

Went to Lucky’s yesterday to get three helix piercings. The whole parlor was clean, tidy and the rooms were very sterile as well. Incredible staff who are very welcoming and obviously enjoy what they do. I felt very comfortable and was pleased with my experience overall! Also shoutout to Clinton for the incredible job he did. He is very knowledgeable and experienced, which is exactly what you want in a piercer. If you are in the fence, this is the place to go. Note that the earrings are a little pricier than a lot of other places I have been, but it’s worth it when you know you are being greatly taken care of and the quality of your jewelry is high standard. 10/10 would recommend.

Got my nose pierced here about a year ago and everything went great, today I returned to replace my nose ring and was disappointed. I knew that they would not be able to physically replace it for me due to COVID, I just wanted to buy the jewelry and go. I even had the paper work from when I got my piercing so they could assist me with getting the right size. The staff were dismissive and rude. They told me I needed an appointment to pick out jewelry because of capacity limitations. But there were only two staff members in the waiting/entrance. After interrogating me at the door for five minutes, I was let in and told I needed to be quick, but I felt so uncomfortable that I left. I’ve looked through the reviews and I see several other people with the same experience. I understand that working during a time like COVID can be overwhelming but staff shouldn’t take it out on customers who are paying for a product/service

The BEST piercing experience I've had; the Covid precautions felt super safe, and my piercing person (Clinton) was so clear and informative about what was happening that I didn't panic and felt like I was in safe hands. I wanted to wait till about a month had passed to write this review; nothing wrong has happened with the piercing (I'm just using the rinse spray + following the basic instructions) and I'm super happy with how it's healing and looking. We asked if there was any opening. One employee asked the other if they had an opening where she didn’t even look up a schedule and said no. Dude just closed the door on us. So I USED to be a HUGE fan of Lucky’s, got most of my tattoos and piercings done there. However, today I had a less than positive experience. I had gone in almost two weeks ago to get my piercing put back in, I had bought a new ring and once it was in we realized it was a little snug and I was told to come back if it got too swollen or bothered me. So here I go to book another appointment because it’s swollen, I had no problem paying for another deposit and new ring. My appointment was today and I got stuck at work and couldn’t make it, I called as soon as I was able and asked if I could reschedule and what to do about my deposit since the online booking system requires payment. I was told that unfortunately I was losing my deposit and would need to make another deposit for another appointment. They said I was a no call no show even though I called during my allotted time. Terrible policy and no reward for being a loyal customer and no flexibility for unplanned events. The employee who took my call also didn’t seem to sympathize at all, would definitely recommend better customer service training
