If you like extremely clean tattoo shop environments and knowledgeable staff look no further! I have been coming to Hart & Huntington for about 2 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else ! I have now had 7 tattoos here and cannot wait to finish my sleeve! Grant Gibson has been doing my tattoos for about 6+ years now and I couldn't be happier with him! He specializes in water colour and very vibrant tattoos but he switches it up for me and gives me exactly what I ask for; black and grey tattoos !! Haha, all and all the staff is great, they always chat me up and make me feel welcome when I come in. I work at a near by bar and get locals and tourists admire my tattoos daily and without hesitation I send them straight over to Hart & Huntington ! Keep up the great work guys????????

I went in with my partner while we were on vacation looking to check out this place and maybe find some larger gauge jewellery for my ears. As soon as I walked in, the staff immediately stopped talking to each other and wouldn't respond to even a friendly hello that I offered. They proceeded to engage in the most antisocial behavior possible, and made mocking looks at each other while I asked the girl at the front about different jewellery they had. I myself have had many piercings that I have either removed or are not visible with normal business clothes. My partner has many visible and non-visible tattoos. And yet, we were treated like complete bourgeois idiots the entire time. I think it's ironic how people who must have had a difficult time with stares and judgement at some point in their lives would turn around and act the same way to others. And to a customer? That's just plain rude and unfortunate.

Saturday I called the shop asking if they do the dermal piercing and asked how much it would be. I was informed that for 1 dermal it would cost 100$ and it cost 150$ for 2. I then asked if an appointment was needed as i wanted to come in the same day if possible. They then said no appointment was needed. Ended the call.. a few hours later i arrived at the shop with a friend to get our dermals and to our surprise we were told their only qualified employeed piercer was back in Australia where hes from and that he wont be back for another 3weeks to a month. Wasted my time.. disappointed!

This was my first ever tattoo and one that meant the world to me. Amber took such good care of the tattoo and was just amazing over all. This tattoo was a handwritten script of my late grandma's handwriting and Amber nailed it. She was kind and friendly, made sure I understood everything before starting and after the session was over. My girlfriend and I came to Niagara and decided to get our first tattoos. The reviews on this place got our vote and it was in such a great location. Only a 5 minute walk from our hotel. The staff were very very professional, gave us information about everything we needed to know before going in for the tattoo. Our artist was very talented, he drew up an amazing design that we both loved and we decided to put it on us for the rest of our lives. The building was very modern and clean and they even played great music the entire time. If you're thinking of getting a tattoo here in Niagara, Hart and Huntingtons is where you wanna go.

HEART_LESS & ONE_HAUNTING_grumpy_STAFF. Stay away from this so called tattoo shop of horrors. It begins when the miserable lady just looks like a horror show ready to creep anyone out. The staff is more like a PG-13 Dictatorship enforcement crew. THEY WILL NOT TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT AND SCARED TO TATTOO ANYTHING THEY THINK IS NOT APPROPRIATE . Graham did my tattoo and it turned out perfect. Absolutely love it and I'm constantly getting compliments on it. I have 6 other tattoos that are equally as good and they were nowhere near as expensive. Also customer service could use a little work. The quality of the tattoo is 5/5 but due to prices and customer service all together I give a rating of 3/5

Tried to get a piercing done here, unfortunately the tattooist said that he wasn’t there coming from Brampton the tattooist doesn’t even know the prices on piercing, at least have some knowledge of the prices on piercings. Called in a couple days ago asking for the piercer the girl on the phone said he won’t be in today, than I asked when will the piercer be in she said he won’t be in for a couple of weeks. At least have a backup piercer so your store can make some cash.

My friends and I were lucky enough to get a "walk in" appointment after a cancellation on a Sunday. We were in Niagara Falls for my Bachelorette so it was a great way to finish off the trip by getting tattoos. Grant tattooed my sister, myself, and my friend. This was my sister and I's first tattoo, so we were both very nervous, but Grant was awesome. He has a great sense of humour but also kept us super calm and reassured us throughout the process start to finish. Our tattoos turned out amazing and none of us had any issues with healing. I definitely would love to come back and get another piece done by Grant sometime in the future. Definitely would recommend this place!

HORRIBLE. Firstly, we were not greeted when we came in, all the artists were in a circle talking amongst themselves ignoring everyone. I went to look at what design my boyfriend had on the computer, the artist comes us and says, “How much did you have to drink” we said nothing. Just a cigarette and I used body spray after, he goes “ are you sure?....really?” Like three times. I kept saying “yes I’m sure!”. He then says “oh cus you smell like booze”. So rude and disrespectful. I said no the first time and my answer wasn’t going to change. They have no customer service or interpersonal skills. The atmosphere was extremely cold and uncomfortable. 0/5 stars!!!

Booked appointment on Tuesday for the following Saturday pictures were taken on the Tuesday of what needed to be covered was told a mandela flower could be put on top simple lines find out Friday 930pm they need a whole new tattoo idea so I sent that that night of a basic outline my appointment was at 12pm I show up and the guy couldn't even tell me straight up he couldn't draw it out and had a appointment right after mine so he couldn't do it. I'm from mississauga this was such an inconvenience and stupid. They never refunded my deposit or applied it to my friends tattoo.

I walked in here recently looking to get a tattoo - the woman at the front desk was just really rude to me for no reason and didn't seem to know much about what they did there. After I talked to one of their artists, I was told my idea "Couldn't be done" hardstop. I asked why, and said that I knew many people with tattoos on their feet and ankles (where I wanted mine) and they said it wasn't something that could be easily done, so their story changed from "couldn't" to "couldn't easily" as though they didn't even want to try. I decided that after talking with them for a few minutes, I'd go look at a few other shops and found one that was willing and able to do exactly what I wanted, and within my budget - and guess what? it turned out GREAT. So no thanks to this place, their rude and arrogant staff doesn't seem to know much about tattooing or customer service... definitely a place to avoid!

One of the best tattoo shops I have been in. I've travelled to Niagara Falls from as far away as 4 hours just to come to this shop. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. I haven't gotten a tattoo done yet but have had several piercings and microdermals done.The piercer Paul is top notch and does great work. I've had some issues with my micros (nothing to do with HOW I was pierced, but my body's reaction to them) and he has been very accommodating and willing to fix things up for me. My next tattoo will be done at H&H are their artists are amazing. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to get tattoos or piercings done.

The shop is very clean. The pricing for tattoos is average compared to the Niagara region. Some reviews say it's expensive but you get what you pay for ;)

My best friend and I have been looking to get a tattoo on our feet for well over a year. We decided on a foot tatto that we were very excited about. We came to this shop for our consultation and were told that they couldn't do it. We proceeded to show them 5 other ideas all to which they said nope not going to work. They did not offer us any alternatives or suggestions. When we decided to leave very discouraged they handed us our deposit without even a sorry or have a nice day. I have had many tattoos and never been so disgusted with the treatment I received. This is a lifelong commitment and people who are putting them on your body should care about your satisfaction. Very disappointed.

Grant did an excellent job on my tattoo last Saturday night! My daughter drew a flying unicorn on my arm to help me through running my first marathon and I wanted to keep it there forever...so I decided to find a local tattoo parlour. Around the corner from our hotel I found Hart and Huntington, and decided to give it a go. I was greeted warmly and explained what I wanted done. Grant talked me through my options, told me how long it would take, cost, etc. and got to work. He did an excellent job, copying the drawing exactly - even going outside the lines just as my daughter did. It has healed beautifully and looks perfect. I'm extremely happy with the work he did and would highly recommend him for your next tattoo!

The receptionist was not welcoming at all, acted like I was bothering her. Was told $125 shop minimum, turned right around and left. Way too pricey for what I was looking for. I have several decent sized, well done tattoos that didn't even cost that much. Guess that's what I get for going to a place on a whim in a tourist spot.

I constantly get stopped when I am out for people to compliment the work I have had done by Grant and to ask how to reach him. My work looks as fresh as the day I got it and the fine detail and colour work is phenominal!! Grant makes whole process easy and comfortable and has a gentle hand. Planned a little vacation for the best friend and I, and when I found out Hart and Huntington was there, I did a little investigation to get a rough quote on the work I wanted done, and when we would be there. Deanna was quick with a reply which was appreciated. Friend and I made it in earlier than expected, and Tyler was just finishing up with another customer. He took a look at the piece we wanted done, and after explaining the small changes we wanted made, he had it drawn up and ready to go in no time. Professional, funny, clear in explanations, (not my first tattoo, or hers, it had just been quite a long time) and all around badass dude to deal with. I would gladly recommend H&H, and Tyler, and it's actually quite a shame they're in Niagara, and not closer to the 416.

Been following Grant Gibson around for 10+ years now to whatever tattoo shop he was in, but Hart & Huntington is by far my favourite! Super clean shop, all the staff & artists are so informative & not at all about the money of the tattoos but all about the quAlity and that evehone gets what they came for. Love that they aren’t afraid to tell you that a tattoo won’t work or how you can make it work better. Grant Gibson is an unreal artist, works with whatever you bring in and ensures that his customers are happy and getting what they want, but also love that he adds his creative touches to all of his work. He just recently covered up my third degree burns and it looks amazing. never have and never will go to anyone else for my work! He’s a stand up guy, honest and a lot of fun to get tattooed by. I had planned a weekend in the falls and before coming down here I decided I was going to get a tattoo since it has been a while so I checked out the reviews of a few places. This place was the one that stood out the most. It definitely lived up to its reputation. I was able to get what I wanted with no problems. The lady at the desk was nice when I had called in as well as meeting her in person. The artist was cool as well. My tattoo took only about 15 minutes and it turned out great.
