I highly recommend Luis. He is incredibly knowledgeable and is there for you before , during , and after for any questions you have about your tattoo, and the healing process. I came in for a tattoo in September and the healing process wasn’t good for me but Luis was there for me and I’d say he went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience . He did my touch ups for free and honestly This was my best tattoo experience ever. extremely clean environment . Excellent tunes . And VERY friendly staff . Everything about Malos Tattoo was amazing! The shop has a great vibe to it, and I felt at home as soon as I sat down. Luis spent an hour during our consultation helping me decide which direction to go with my design idea. He took pictures of where I wanted the tattoo and was able to provide ideas on the iPad of what certain things would look like. It was thorough and timely, and I have never had a consultation like that with any of my tattoos! Alvaro, the one who did my actual tattoo, is incredibly talented. His work is amazing on all levels! There was nothing in his design that I wanted to change. I can't stop looking at my new tattoo, I am so in love with my piece. I will definitely be going back to Malos tattoo for all my future pieces!

Malos Tattoos is the best place in the city to get ink done. The free consultation is amazing, the atmosphere is very comfortable with great music and spotless clean shop. Got 17 hours of work done in this shop, the detail work and the shading is on whole another level. Everywhere I go people ask me where I got my half sleve and commenting on how realistic it looks. I send everybody to Malos Tattoos, Luis and Alvaro will take care of you. Wish I got my two other tattoos in this shop, but oh well, all my next tats will be done here for sure!

This was my first tattoo experience and I was really hoping it would be a good one. I did some research and found Malos, it had great reviews. My fault was that I did not specify which artist I wanted to work with. My design was actually very simple, just a few words of text. I sent in the font type and the location of the tattoo. The customer service via email was great, although I did have to reschedule my tattoo on relatively short notice. I met with Lily at the shop and she went over everything with me. She was quite pleasant. The shop itself is very clean and minimalist. I was quite nervous during the tattoo as it was my first one but Lily did check in with me regularly to make sure I was good. My biggest issue was that her young children were dropped off at the shop midway through my tattoo and they were quite loud and rambunctious. At one point I was worried they would crash into the table I was on. It made the experience less comfortable than it could’ve been. I also think the kids may have been distracting the artist. Once my tattoo healed I could see quite a few imperfections and misalignment of the text. I made sure to follow all the aftercare instructions and bought the expensive cream they recommended. I had an experienced friend confirm that the tattoo was not done very well. I hate giving bad reviews but it’s important for me to be truthful about my experience. Hopefully the shop and artist will make use of this feedback.

Got my first large tattoo with Luis and the work is of very high caliber. He has a very strong artistic vision and all of his suggestions with regard to design were right on point. During the tattooing process he was gentle and worked with razor sharp focus and meticulous attention to detail. In general the staff at the shop are professional, friendly and down to earth. I can't speak to their work directly, but from what I observed I feel the other artists operate with high quality expectations and integrity. I get the feeling that the people at this studio are more interested in doing quality work that represents them artistically than raking in money. This probably goes without saying since the place has a good reputation, but very clean and sanitary. Strongly recommend.

I had an amazing experience at malos tattoo. After sending lily an email she responded to me very quickly and got me booked in for a consultation with Luis. Luis sent me my design a few days before my tattoo day so i could alter something if needed. He also made sure to blend the other tattoo i have on my arm with his work. On the day of Luis made sure I was comfortable the entire time and was also very easy to talk to. I am so impressed by his work! I love my tattoo so much and could not have asked for a better experience

I do not like having to write these types of reviews but i feel its important to be honest with my experience with this company. Long story short i have a tattoo in which i wanted it to be filled a small section (aka a leaf), it had been done by a previous tattoo artist who had quit tattooing which i had emailed them to let them know this situation i had , and i even expressed in my email that i am aware that not all tattoo artists want to work on someone else work because the styles don't match which is fine and i would understand but they said nothing and told me to come in at 11:00 am. I found it odd that they didn't ask for me to send any pictures to see my tattoo nor ask me what i want to do (ideas) so they could best match me with the right tattoo artist. I had to come all the way down which is about 30 mins away from my house , and pay for parking just to have this terrible customer service experience. I walk in and the guy was sitting there didn't even seem to care , didn't even stand up to greet me. The whole time i felt very uncomfortable and got a strange feeling being there , he then tells me oh yeah your tattoo isn't my style but you can come back tomorrow , being nice i stayed an listen to what he had to say he texted his buddy who also works at the shop but this guy is leaving to go out of the country....in 10 days? so now i am faced with having to get a tattoo within a week that leads me with no time to make a decision with something that is going to be on my body for life , this shop only cares about money not the well being of there clients , there work looks fine but there customer service is terrible. I wont be coming back to this location. Just be aware and ask more questions so you don't have to waste your time like i did.

The girl working was extremely rude. We sent an email with a short description of what we wanted. When we arrived, she had already picked out items for us. Then, when we told her that we would prefer it a little different and actually showed her photos of what we had thought, she said she would have to charge more for the extra work, when in fact we never even agreed on the tattoos she chose for us. Then, abruptly she gave our money back and said we were not a good fit. I wouldn't trust people like this with a needle on my body. I have 19 tattoos and all of my previous artists have been very considerate and understanding that it's the customers' decision of what will be tattooed on their body for the rest of their lives. I would definitely not recommend this place with employees with bad attitudes like that. Mind you my 2nd option tattoo was way simpler and would have taken 30 min to do. Crazy they would charge more for less ink. Lol

Went In today after my consult he told me it would take five hours I told him a general idea of what I wanted and let him just do his thing and I couldn't be more happy. it turned out better then I ever could have asked for. Or thought of on my own. He killed it gave me great advice for prepping my skin before coming in and made it as painless as possible and they will be seeing me again for sure. After getting my ink today I have found my artist hands down five stars. Clean environment very good feeling going in and leaving. I would recommend malos tattoo to anyone I know and will be doing so.
