I saw Jean for a hand poked tattoo and I had the best experience. Not only is Jean amazingly talented, they are an incredible human, I was put at ease instantly. The shop is bright, clean and welcoming. My tattoo turned out lovely and I can't wait to go back for more and to visit with Jean again.

I've gotten a tattoo from Jean at the shop twice now and every single time has been the most comfortable and fun experience. Jean is incredible and their work is just top tier. I honestly recommend everyone get tattooed here no matter who does it as the vibes at the shop is immaculate. 10/10 will be back for more

I cannot begin to explain the amount of PRAISE I have for the amazing human beings who work and run this incredible shop! You will instantly feel accepted and loved in this place and create meaningful experiences that make you want to live there full time. They take the concept 'judgement-free" to a whole new level. They are kind and generous and make you feel like the world is whole and that good people exist. WHICH they totally do and they can be found here. Their art speaks for itself but if you want to go for a good time and *also* get a tattoo, this is 100% the place to do it!!!

I got my first tattoo here. I can’t stay enough great things. If you are nervous about getting your first this is the place to go. So kind, no judgement and so much excitement for you to get your first one. Very clean, fantastic vibes and the people are so sweet. I was with Jean and they have amazing work, 11/10 loved it!

One of the most comfortable tattoo experiences ever. Jean was so thorough and professional about keeping the space clean and sanitized and asking for consent before beginning the tattoo, making changes and if they could take a photo of the tattoo and healed tattoos from other artists. And Jean was such a joy to chat with! It was such a safe and welcoming experience and I can’t wait to go back. I would give Jean 10 stars out of 5 if I could.

I love Steph at Good Friend Tattoo, and it’s awesome she’s started her own business with her two tattoo friends! She worked with me to create a Miyazaki handpoked tattoo around my ankle, and we’ve added to it a couple times (and hoping to do more!) Her attitude has so much joy as well, and it’s always a pleasure going to see her!
