I got my first tattoo at the Fox and the Machine. I contacted Chris Spence over email and he was quick to set up a face to face consultation before booking in. He showed me some of his work and really put me at ease with the whole process. The shop is very clean and has a really fun atmosphere. The artists were all friendly and welcoming and I never felt out of place being an “uninked” person. The location of the shop is in a really cool old building in inglewood. It’s not hard to find parking on the street next to the building. On the day of the tattoo I came in and Chris had drawn up the piece and was willing to make some tweaks. The piece I ended up with is GORGEOUS! I literally can’t stop looking at it. Chris really made me feel comfortable. We had a great chat and the whole tattoo was done before I knew it. Now for the unfortunate part for my bank account ...I’ll want to go back again soon! (Totally worth it). Thanks Chris Spence and all the great artists at the Fox and the Machine!

Share my experience…..Where do I even begin, First of all Derrick absolutely nailed the assignment I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. As for the shop when you walk in you feel instantly part of the Fox and Machine family. Liam on the front desk was a absolute legend, got me checked in and answered my questions had a chat.before I went to the back to begin the fun, Upon arriving to my assigned pain station we got down to business. Derrick and I went over the designs, asked me if I had any questions. then we got started . Two hands and three hours later I have two amazing pieces of art and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The amount of talent in this shop is ridiculous you would be silly to go anywhere else. I will be back Fox and the Machine you better believe that. 10/10

The only problem I found with fox and the Machine was try inf to find it. Once you knew how to follow the signs and get to the door, the rest was amazing. The owner Dean was absolutely a pleasure to talk with and very personable. Asked us if we wanted coffee or water and ensured us that the artist was on his way (we arrived before opening time). Thereafter the artist (Chris Spence) took over and was very welcoming. He did an amazing job on the tattoo that was requested. He adjusted and changed the tattoo to the liking. There was not a single spec of feeling uncomfortable.

This tattoo shop is one of the best I have been to! I first started a half sleeve with Chris Campbell over a year ago and have followed his work to Fox and the Machine. Chris's realism is next level. A year later and my tattoo still looks as fresh and realistic as when I first got it. My most recent tattoo was done by Austin Gallant. The amount of excitement and passion he has towards tattooing was almost contagious. When he told me he had only been tattooing for 5 months I couldn't believe it. The quality behind the finished product was amazing. The lines were crisp and clean. I would go back to him in a heartbeat. One of the best apprentice's out there! The general atmosphere and layout of the shop was also next level. Everyone was friendly and made you feel at home. I can see this place getting a lot of attention and becoming very successful! Decided to get a piece I've had on my mind for a long time and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Had a bit of back and forth over email before I booked since I had some questions and the responses were always quick and helpful. Since it was a simple tat I was able to book the session right away instead of having to book a separate consultation. They had me booked in with Austin who was fantastic. We did a few tweaks to the design as he made the stencil but he definitely understood exactly what I was going for so the whole process took a lot less time than I though it was going to. I'm really happy I chose this place, it turned out exactly how I pictured it and the crew there made the whole experience really relaxed and enjoyable (well, as enjoyable as getting stabbed with tiny needles can be). %100 would recommend this place.
