My first tattoo experience was timid at first; came in by myself, brought a picture of a tattoo, and a nervous uncertainty of what could happen. Everyone including one of the customers was very calm and reassuring that it was like any other day. The receptionist asked all necessary questions and one of the artists came to see what i wanted. John sketched a similar version of the flower i wanted on my thigh/leg. We were able to collaborate as i was open to his suggestions according to the shape of my body and or future designs. I felt safe. The shop had a healthy, clean environment. We took breaks, got to know them. They had distractions to adhere to the pain i haven't experienced before. They were concerned and watched my reactions to ensure that i was ok. Now that my tattoo is healed, i cant stop looking at it???? So happy at how everything turned out. Will definately be back for more!

I went there for my 1st tattoo(2009) it was awesome the guy Derren (I believe his name is) was super nice, he took his time, and every few mins hed ask how im doing. he answered all my questions I had. They had a movie playing which helped me to distract the needle in my back (I hate needles) The shop is clean and the staff is super friendly. I do recommend them to my friends and I will be going back soon to get my rib cage done.

I've been getting tattooed by the guys at eternal image for 12 years and I have nothing but good things to say about the artists, and their work. Going to eternal image is unlike any other shop I've been to. The guys are constantly bouncing jokes off one another, sometimes your laughing so much it's hard to sit still. They really make you feel at home.

I've been a client for about 10 years. The artists are all excellent, and able to take on any challenges you present them with. It's a relaxed atmosphere, usually a movie is playing while you're getting tattooed, which helps distract you. If you like to have a good laugh while getting tattooed, there's usually some of that going on too. As far as costs go, I will say that in the world of tattooing, you get what you pay for, and I personally have no problem with what they charge.

These boys are really relatable. You can generally just chill out, enjoy some movies that they choose to play and get your ink done. Their skills are top notch and I have not had a single bad experience to date, they are responsible for at least 50% of the ink on my body and will definitely retain my business for my upcoming tattoos

Came to Scott for my first tattoo. I was super nervous and didn’t know what to expect, so I started out with a smaller shoulder piece. The result blew so far past my expectations that I quickly turned the smaller shoulder piece into a full sleeve and yet again, Scott took the images and idea I put together for the project and totally blew my expectations out of the water. Truly world class, I wish I could give 10 stars. Not to mention, it’s been 2 years now since my sleeve was finished and I still felt inclined to take the time to write this. HIGHLY recommend!

Had an appointment with John a few days ago and the tattoo was done in a timely fashion. The shops location is very lowkey, and when you walk in it is totally a vibe that you don't really expect, kind of like a hidden gem. John had a light hand when he tattooed me, as well as a memorable conversation to ensure that the whole experience left a lasting impression, which it did :) Everyone in the shop was very friendly! 10/10 would recommend to someone to get tatted here, and will definitely come back for another tattoo in the nearby future! Also they give you a cute sticker after you get tattooed, which I totally dig. I mean, who wouldn't like iridescent dinosaurs?

This shop certainly breaks any stereotypes about tattoo shops being intimidating. I would highly recommend them for anyone’s first tattoo and you won’t need to go anywhere else for all of the other tattoos you will get after getting hooked. Even if you need to restencil 5 or 6 or 10 times they want you to be happy with what you leave with. I gave Scott some vague ideas and he managed to create an amazing custom sleeve which I ended up spending way less money on than I thought I would. Dylan is just as great and excels at lettering if that is what you’re looking for. Someone gave them a four star rating which was probably due to parking being a bit of a pain in Inglewood but they have not control over that. Solid five stars.

I have 3 amazing tattoos from John Boletta and I will continue to come back because of his attention to detail, his incredible intricate lines and how accommodating he's been getting me in on short notice. Today was my best friend's one year death anniversary and I made an urgent decision to get a tattoo that symbolized our friendship. It was absolutely important for me to get it on this day so I rushed into the parlor for a last minute tattoo about half an hour before they closed. At first, I was heartbroken when the receptionist said there was no time, but then she called on one of the artists, Dylan. He was more than okay with with getting my tattoo done and he did an amazing job! He was incredibly friendly, and didn't rush even though he knew they were closing soon. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning on getting the tattoo. The parlor itself is clean, the staff is very accommodating and the artists are very skilled and talented!

I have had over 50 hours of tattoo work done by the artists at Eternal Image over the years. They are excellent artists capable of turning your vision into a one of a kind piece of art. Their friendly personalities and constant stream of classic movies definitely makes sitting through long sessions more manageable. The shop is clean and has lots of interesting artwork and collectables to look at while you’re trying to get through the pain.

This was my 3rd visit to see Scott - and it was just as great as the first. Scott goes the extra mile to ensure the work looks it's best, and that you are comfortable through the entire session. The thing the blows my mind with Scott is that he's EXTREMELY personable. I've got tattoos from other shops , and I've always brought headphones with me so I can attempt to keep myself occupied. I've also brought headphones for my visits with Scott, but I've never had to use them. Our conversations have always been enough to keep my mind occupied. If you're looking for quality work, a clean shop, and above all , an artist who cares - look no further. You won't be disappointed (needless to say, I won't have to visit other shops ever again) Keep up the great work Scott. Your level of professionalism never ceases to amaze me.
