Electric Odyssey has everything you want in a tattoo shop. You feel welcome right at arrival, the atmosphere is so comfy and cool, amazing artwork surrounds you and when you need a distraction from the pain of the tattoo you can get lots in it. There are also TVs which is a really nice change from the other shops I've been to, as it creates a good distraction as well. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and amazingly talented. This will always be my go-to shop!

I went in to inquire about a tattoo. What I want is small and mearningful to me. In less than three minutes the artist made me feel stupid, uncomfortable and like what I was asking for was just too cliche to be born. In her words, ‘I mean, I could do it but...’ So much for non-judgemental. I was deeply offended and left feeling angry and embarrassed. It’s a shame; my niece has had some beautiful work done there but I won’t be back.

I can't believe there would be a better tattoo studio in Calgary. This is a business owned and employed by women. It's full of art and weirdness but so comfortable. I had a tattoo done and touched up there and including my consultation was there 3 times total. And every time I was blown away by the professionalism and the talent of the artists. The customers were so chill too. A great environment. There is a bit of a waitlist, but more than worth it.

The cutest and friendliest shop ever! I have been getting tattoos from Steph for a few years now, and I am always blown away by her artistry. She’s honest, efficient, and is amazing at making the tattoo ideas in my head a reality. As someone who has accumulated quite a few tattoos, I am always blown away by what she is able to do using the handpoked method. If you want a unique and gorgeous handpoked tattoo, I highly recommend going to Steph - especially for any flora, botanical or even nerdy designs.

Steph was super helpful and took her time in drawing the tattoo on different parts of my body, being careful to center everything and helped me pick the perfect placement. SUPER happy with the result!! It is SO perfect. Very happy :) The girls in the shop were so friendly and fun to chat with while getting a tatt. Will definitely be going back for more!

I have gotten several tattoos but I have never had the amazing custom experience that they offer at Electric Odyssey. You are able to see your design almost a week in advance giving you lots of time to tweak your piece. Nikki was amazing making everyone and anyone feel comfortable. She has now tattooed not only me but my mum, sister and brother. She took two tattoo virgins and made them feel totally at ease. If you are looking for a tattoo designed just for you in a comfortable atmosphere than you have found the place.

Got an Owl chest piece as my first tattoo this summer from Nikki Smith (picture attached). It was a large piece that was around 10hrs of work between a consultation and two sessions. Nikki was friendly, professional, and patient throughout the whole process. After having this piece for over 6 months now I couldn’t be happier. All of the artists are extremely skilled and have their own unique style, in regards to the shop itself it's clean and has a really laid back atmosphere so whether it's your 1st tattoo or your 20th it's a good experience. I've gotten 3 tattoos from Janelle and I certainly intend on getting more; she's super rad and incredibly talented so if you're considering getting a piece done from her or any of the other artists in the shop I highly recommend it.

Waited for days to get a response back from this shop when i got one they told me they don't do touch up or finish pieces right now , its a bit sad to know that i am stuck with unfinished work from another tattoo shop and was not able to get it fixed here. They did give me recommendations for other shops which was nice of them , but i think they should have touch up artists or cover up artists all the time ready to take on new clients i was looking forward to coming into this shop as the work fits my style but looks like i will be researching more around the city for another tattoo shop.

I am at this tattoo shop currently as my friend gets a tattoo done by Angie. Angie is very accommodating and cares alot about her work. Ensuring my friend is happy with the work before and during the experience. She has a light hand and a relaxed demenure as she works. The shop is clean and comfortable with great art up. I would recomend any body get some work done here if they are considering a tattoo.

I recently had a tattoo done here by Angie. I highly recommend Electric Odyssey. It is only my second tattoo as I'm pretty picky on who does my work. I got a memorial piece on my calf of a elephant. I told her I wanted it to look realistic as I'm not into cartoon characters. She did exactly what I asked and added her amazing touch. It healed awesome next to no scabbing and it didn't even need to be touched up. I've got nothing but complements from anyone who sees my tattoo. It's literally a piece of art. Electric Odyssey is my top recommendation to anyone who asks me where to get tattooed. I have had work done at numerous shops in Calgary, Canmore and Red Deer, but Electric Odyssey established itself as my go to. I was tattooed by Nikki almost a year ago, (I got a few smaller sized things in one sitting) and not only was she super friendly and kind, but her artwork is great and her lines are clean. I was not just impressed by the quality of tattoos in this shop, but the great customer service, friendliness and the fact that most of the artists tattooing in this shop are owners of the shop. I have been to shops where the artists do not seem to care about their clients or the shop, but at Electric Odyssey, the environment is different; it has a welcoming atmosphere, it is laid back but professional, and the staff are committed to the name and reputation of the shop and I think that makes a huge difference. If you need a place to get tattooed, you need to check out this shop. If you already have a bunch of tattoos like I do, or are getting your first tattoo, this shop will welcome you, provide you with great service, beautiful work and give you a positive tattoo experience.
