One of the cleanest shops around. Everyone takes pride in that shop to make sure it's clean and your enjoying your time there. Lots of laughter and up beat artists. I had the pleasure of getting my stomach finished at this shop. Will not go anywhere else. I have sent my family and friends to the shop and they all have been very happy with how they where treated and that Ink that they have received. Every artist is different in the shop but a tattoo family shares the same pride. ML&R for the shop and the Artist. Will be back in for more Ink.

I knew it was unique, but the guy working there was very disrespectful to my vision and every time I said what I wanted he told me that was a bad idea and I should do it his way instead. Even though his way defeated the purpose and meaning of the tattoo I wanted. Honestly he was just straight up rude.

Overall clean shop with friendly people, but I booked my cover-up tattoo with Emily because her work looked great. I showed her a picture of what I needed covered up, and gave her references to what i wanted, but she didn't offer any advice as to if what i wanted would've covered it up properly or not. Nor did she make any suggestions for changes to help that cover up. When we talked she said that she "designed" her tattoos the day of the appointment, so i trusted her and put a deposit down to keep that date, but when i showed up she had booked someone else's over mine at the same time. She told me she would do mine after that persons, so I waited.. and when it was finally my time, she came out with a design that looked good, she tattooed it on me and it looked great, only for me to later find out that she grabbed a design off the internet, that was drawn by someone else. She only made 1 minor change to that design, and did her own shading to make it "her design". Very disappointed. I wanted a custom design made by her, but she did not do that. After that appointment, she told me to message her a month or 2 later to touch up my tattoo, where you could see my older tattoo underneath.. so when i did reach out to her, i asked her a couple questions, she ignored me, and hasn't gotten back to me since. I just wish she hadn't plagiarized.

Can't say enough great things about the shop and the staff. From the time I booked, walked in and had a tattoo completed, they were professional and great towards me. Everything is extremely clean and updated and the shop has a great atmosphere, with all the artists bantering, etc. A very family feel to it all. Super impressed and would highly recommend it.

Walking into the shop is a visual delight. From the polished bikes mounted from the ceiling to tribal masks. Your eyes never get board. My husband had two, two day sessions over the summer so I was afforded plenty of time to soak in the ambiance. I am a bit sad for husband as the 'water' surrounding his lighthouse is off. So when people look at his otherwise awesome tatoo they are thrown off by this bit. Looks more like dark angry clouds. Otherwise his tattoos were visually and technically perfect. My advice to his artist would be to take his time on the design and be more open to ideas. With just a little effort this guy could be a masters master! #metoo!!!! Gentlemen. Open a newspaper. Shame on each and every man at this establishment. Though it's unprofessional I can live with the pot smoking. The swearing etc. But trash women talk that happens in this shop is so last decade. Particularly irresponsible when under 16 girls enter the picture for piercings. Not to mention the young female staff on the payroll. Or the old lady sitting waiting for her husband! Not sure who you are trying to impress. Gentleman - you can do better!

I had such an amazing experience at Calgary Tattoo and with my artist, Alex! This was my first tattoo and I was nervous and had a lot of questions. Alex was very patient with me, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. He is incredibly professional and very talented! Even though my tattoo was a bit basic compared to the other amazing custom pieces he does, he left no detail out and it is exactly what I envisioned. Great location. Parking stalls and side street parking available. Wheelchair accessible. Offering abundance of tattoo selections and piercings available done professionally. Comfy couches and cool things to look at while you wait, also bonus for the tv to keep you entertained.

Would give JD the artist i saw 5 stars for his great work and fixing a terrible tattoo I had gotten there before. But the customer service is some of the worst I have ever gotten specifically from the older gentleman handling the paperwork and cash. Mumbling and grumbling comments under his breath the entire time. Would recommend to go see JD but would avoid having any type of conversation with that older man because he was absolutely terrible and made the entire experience a horrible one.

Very poor experience with the artist. He didn't seem interested in the job at all and left us completely unhappy with the experience. The rest of the staff seemed to be upbeat and enjoy working. Unfortunately we were stuck with the worst one.☹

Would not recommend. Received a half sleeve a while back and when I was texted a picture of the sketch I quickly said what i thought needed to be changed, but was told that it was the best part and that it would all come together when the tattoo was finished. It's finished now and I can honestly say that I do not like it. If what I asked was changed before I started I'm sure I wouldn't have this problem!

A casiotone drum n bass layered under some sweet Kenny Loggins jams and peppered with blasts from a dollar store birthday whistle. Quit harshing the Bukem.

I got a full sleeve done by moose and it was some next level work. I am so happy with the work done to my arm and am already planning to do my next arm by moose again. I went to this shop because a friend of mine recommended Erik. I sent him a deposit, I gave him my idea and told him to create it into his own. I went to the shop then all he had done was copy pasted my idea and he thought I was down to still get tattooed on me ahah. I left the shop told him to actually sketch out the idea I wanted and to create into his own piece of art, he told me he had a few days off and he would send me a sketch within 2 days. About 6 days went by then finally he sent a very poorly rushed sketch. It frankly felt like he didn't care about putting effort into the sketch, he was completely unprofessional and made many excuses for why it was taking so long. There goes $100 out of my pocket.. the only positive that came from this experience is that I can warn people from making a permanent mistake by going to this shop :)

Received a tattoo by moose on my hand. Hands are a pretty hard spot to do well. But moose KILLED the tattoo! I'm so in love with what he made for me and it turned out even better than what I had in my head. Super nice guy, shops atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Highly recommend coming here.

The place is very clean and sanitary. I've had all 3 of my tattoos done here and the two artists I've had have been great. One in particular made me feel super comfortable and made the tattooing experience go by a lot faster. Definitely recommend. Their prices are also very reasonable.

I would not go here, shop isn't that clean, the artists are not very nice, very impatient with first timers who don't know EXACTLY what they want or where to get it done, the guy was constantly swearing at people, mumbling horrible things under his breath at me, if I could rate negative stars, I would, cause they deserve -5 stars!!!!! Absoutely horrible, go anywhere else. And there prices are ridiculously high for the mediocre work they do!
