Great vibe, totally comfortable place, good artists. This place is easy to miss but it's worth checking out. Too many tattoo parlours come with ego, this place doesn't feel that way. I can't even remember the girl's name right now that did my feather, but I walked out happy with the art work, & had a good experience @ Barron

Barron Tattoo was worth the drive from Fort McMurray. Absolutely beautiful memorial Tattoo for my Mom. Jessica did an amazing job with the dragonfly and my Moms handwriting. Jessica was willing to come in early so we could get it done. The staff/owner were super nice, friendly and made the atmosphere very relaxing. Very detailed small, linear ones and both times she was extremely diligent in ensuring I was completely satisfied with the size, placement and details. She also used very thin needles which added to the elegance and simplicity of the tooos. Definitely recommend her !

This is such a great shop! From the incredibly friendly and relaxed customer service to the sleek ambience, to my tattooing with Todd, I was very happy with my experience. Right off the get-go, he listened to what I wanted, added a bit of his artistic ideas, and together we came out with exactly what I was wanting. I got an extremely detailed owl piece on my forearm that has a lot going on for its size, and it required a lot of patience, expertise, and a keen eye to get everything just right - and I am a perfectionist. He was personable and friendly, and I felt very relaxed while he worked away. I should mention, he completed my tattoo in exactly the amount of time quoted. After healing, I just came back for a bit of touch ups and he was just as friendly and eager to make sure my lines were lovely and bold and that I was completely happy with everything. He stood behind his work and the passion for his art is very apparent. Would definitely recommend!

I have had at least 40-50 hours of work done at Barron by Erin and others. I wouldn't go to any other shop. The artwork, professionalism and up-market feel is all great. This is the place you want to go if you are looking for a truly great piece. This is not a 'choose it out of the catalog' place.

This was a great experience! We called and we're booked in within 2 hours. The tattoo artist, Luis Rivera had this done and the process from designing to application was swift and extremely comfortable! I would recommend anyone who needs calligraphy done, to come here! 10/10 LOVE LOVE LOVED my time here!!! Great work!

Had a quarter sleeve dragon done by Ryan, tattoo did not turn out like the sketch I was shown. Half of the tattoo ended up being done freehanded as the outline was erased from wiping. The freehanded part had shaky lines and just looked really bad. I did not feel comfortable about coming back and getting the piece finished as it only might get worse. Just wanted to warn others before they get permanent mistakes inked on their skin.

I have been coming in to see Panda every month since September 2018 for a full back piece. I have plenty of existing tattoos and have had some negative experiences previously with artists and shops that seemed to not care at all and judging by their attitudes, had no real interest in tattooing either. I called and chatted with Jason. He was friendly, accommodating and genuinely seemed excited. I came in to meet with Panda and explained my ideas to her. She actually took time to understand what I wanted, asked a lot of great questions and she was a real pleasure to chat with. In my first session, Panda really came with her A game. She had some amazing drawings ready, brainstormed with me, answered my questions intelligently and thoughtfully and really made me feel comfortable. Then we got to work. Since that first appointment, I am in the shop every month for a session. The work itself is amazing, and to be honest if the artist was even half way nice, that is a win in my opinion. In this case though, not only is the work fantastic, but Panda is so much fun, positive, outgoing and tolerates my ridiculous sense of humour. Everyone in the shop has been nothing but kind to me. Jason does everything from changing up the shop music to ensuring the cheesiest programming Netflix has to offer is available on screen for me to have a laugh at. I am having a blast developing this piece and I feel fortunate to have found this artist and everyone in this shop. Cheers.

I Looked into 8 of shops in Calgary and Dozens of artist. and stopped by all of them. I went with Barron tattoo. As when I stopped by I was greeted by Jason. he did a great job promoting his business by being helpful, straight forward and friendly.Erin did my tattoo and it was exceptional. I took in to pictures I liked different aspects of that where very different from each other explained what I liked and wanted and the tattoo turned out to be exactly what I want even better than I could have imagined Thanks for the fantastic job

I went to Barron today to get my tattoo done by Erin Belley. She was extremely professional but also very personable. She made the experience fun, comfortable, and easy to tolerate the pain of getting a ribcage tattoo. The time actually passed quite quickly. We had some laughs and great conversation. Most of all, she absolutely nailed it with my tattoo and gave me an even better version of what I had in mind. Her attention to detail and ability to place the tattoo perfectly was so invaluable. I will be back for more in November and I can't wait!! You guys rock!

I had a cover up of a 20 year old tattoo by Nate Morrison a week ago. It is the most amazing piece of work I have every seen. I am truly amazed & blown away by the ability of Nate. The staff were friendly, the environment was inviting & the shop was very clean. If anyone ever asks, I will be telling them to go see Nate at Barron Tattoo.

My friend had work done by Erin that was stellar! She is so nice! But a newer artist Kat, did my tattoo which was a quick piece just a cat on my ankle and though the piece itself is well done, her attitude was atrocious and rude, if I ever go back, I will see Erin but NEVER Kat. Even when it came to the free first touch up time, she was so rude that I didn't bother going in and I'm just going to ask my new tattoo artist to touch it up

Was there about a week ago, the tattoos they create aren’t what’s bad, it’s the customer service. Of course it depends on which artist you get, I didn’t appreacite the sarcasm and lack of interest they showed. It seems some are only interested in doing large tattoos that will make more money for them.

Was looking for the perfect tattoo to honor my Grandmother and Mother for 8 years ,met with many artists and none were able to live up to what i wanted , until Todd posted a picture he drew and it was perfect. Called him booked an appointment didn't have to book months in advance. Todd's art work is second to none , and did a great job on my tattoo , would highly recommend him and Barron Tattoo , great atmosphere .

The parlor is very clean and the staff were professional throughout. I am so happy with the way my tattoo turned out and ended up getting another one. I went here to get a half sleeve colored in and the place is awesome! They were friendly as soon as they met me to put my deposit down. Jason is an awesome shop owner. I got tattooed today by Todd. I got my brows microbladed here by Kim and she did a fabulous job! She really took her time to make sure they suited my face and sought my input throughout to ensure i would get exactly what I wanted. Getting ready in the morning now takes a fraction of the time, and no one has noticed (which I think is a great thing!). I really can't recommend her highly enough if you're considering taking the plunge!

I have been coming to see Panda for the past 6 months. This shop is unlike any other I have ever been to. They are the friendliest, kindest, and the easiest to get along with. From the time I met Panda, with my unsure idea of what I wanted and through this whole process, she has been nothing short of amazing.
