Had been meaning to have a tattoo for over a decade…and have finally decided to get it done! Searched in my head for ideas then started to Google for ideas to tie everything together. The most difficult part was have everything presentedin a tattoo. This is where Geronimo came in, especially Hermann. He was accepting in hearing my thoughts and was able to transform them into one tattoo. The sketch was representative of what was in my head, but in a coherent way! The process was easy going, especially for a first timer, I felt relaxed throughout the entire time and was able to have breaks when needed. Shop was clean and professional, ideas were transformed beautifully. As a first timer, I felt comfortable and honoured to have it done by Hermann! An excellent experience and really took out all of my anxiety away once the process was started. Bonus: everyone was easy going and friendly, just don't be a dink and abide by shop policies and everything will be better than you would expect! ❤️❤️

Should've known to walk away when the artist said, "you can't use this design as a cover up, have to use colour, no black, and only really do a flower as cover up, but trust me when I know how to do cover ups". Took down a deposit even before I saw the design, didn't tell me that there would be a whole bunch of colour in the tat.. Only told me that it would have to be colour .. Didn't ask either. My own fault for being so trusting though. Wouldn't suggest coming here.

I was looking to get my first tattoo and I saw the other reviews on line so I decided to go in for the free consultation. Ebony (the artist) was absolutely wonderful during the consultation and took the time to go through many styles of lettering that would really add to my piece. That was on Sunday. I was back on Tuesday to look over the hand drawn stencil and I absolutely loved it and I was ready to get in the chair and get it done. The place was very clean and all the staff were extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be going back soon for my next tattoos.

The pasty white guy who works there with snake bites is very rude and condescending. Worst customer service - left a really bad taste in my mouth and I would not go here for a tattoo or piercing. REPONSE TO THE OWNER: No thank you. I've said what I wanted to say, and don't feel it's necessary to go out of my way to further complain about the situation . It's not my intention to get anyone in trouble, but simply to share my experience with others as a heads up. Your employee was extremely unprofessional and has an air of arrogance; talking to customers as if they're stupid, making customers wait 20 minutes just to ask a simple question, having a smoke instead of helping customers. I don't appreciate being belittled and talked down to, I am not seeking any kind of compensation and I will not be returning to your store. I can only comment on this employee as I only dealt with him, I am sure there is nothing wrong with the way you run your business.

Prior to visiting Staci I only had my ears pierced (which were done when I was a year old). I spontaneously decided to get my nose pierced and found nothing but great reviews about Staci. My nose piercing was such a pleasant experience! Staci not only made me feel comfortable, but was able to keep me calm during the whole process. The piercing itself took no more than a few seconds. Once done, I was hooked! Since then I have been back to get my helix done and even got my nipples pierced today! I was pleasantly impressed with my nipple piercing as she really took her time to make sure the alignment was correct. Overall a great piercer and I will definitely be coming back for more! ;-)

Only place in Vancouver that carries biofelx piercings. Which are better than Titanium for healing purposes as they contain no metals. The lady was very knowledgeable about piercing issues and their solutions as she has been certified in the states and doing it over 20 years. She was very careful and skilled. I got a piercing done by Staci 2 weeks ago who was amazing! I called in today and spoke to DAN who asked me to come in so he they can repierce it as the earing fell out and had closed up on its own within 24 hrs. I told him i was coming in at 2:30. He was 10 minutes late and upon arrival had the most rudest custoemer service I have experienced. He first took a look at my ear and he says with attitude, "well what do you want me to do with it"? I wouldnt have minded paying another $80 for my piercing but as he said, "well, i need to use a fresh needle, gloves blah blah, someome needs to pay for this", I was obviously not going to have this guy piece me if he was obviously miserable. Staci you are amazing I'll wait to contact you, Dan you should not be in a business where you have to deal with customers if your attitude is straight up rude :).

Dan took me back to get my septum pierced. I had an APPOINTMENT. He was doing a tattoo when I arrived, totally fine. Stopped it to do my piercing, but rushed through my piercing. It was slightly crooked at an angle...that is quite common thing to happen. The problem is instead of doing it in the fleshy "sweet spot" part he put it so close to the front it looked wierd. When I went to adjust it as it looked crooked, first thought was the metal needed to move over...he pulled pulled my hand away and said don't touch it, makes sense. It is such a fast experience and I was shuffled out the door. I didn't even notice how close to the front it was until I sat in the car and looked in the mirror. I won't go back to get it done over. Why would I trust it to be done again at the same place?! I will definitely not go back to the "McDonald's" of tattoo shops.

The lady working the front counter/piercing is the most rude, condescending person I have ever met!!! Trying to talk me out of my tattoo and telling me it’s a “terrible idea” and she’s not even an artist!!!! Made my friend and I feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable with her attitude. I got my tattoo done for $140 (45 minutes of work and a well known, professional, and talented studio) where as she told me it would be $300 and it would take an hour!!!! Seriously cannot recommend Staci highly enough! One of my tongue piercings got infected a couple of days ago and I needed an emergency jewelry swap as the swelling was taking over one of my barbells. We called the shop and Staci told us to drop in as soon as we were available. Her professionalism, confidence and transparency through the whole procedure were amazing and so reassuring. She explained every step of the process to me: what she was doing & why, etc. For something that had been causing me an immense amount of pain for 2 days, she made the process of extraction/jewelry exchange almost completely painless and definitely saved my piercing. She was so upfront with her knowledge and provided me with an abundance of information to help with the infection and overall piercing care going forward. She even followed up with a phone call the next day to check in on how I was doing. Completely unexpected but so thoughtful! I’ve never experienced this level of service before from a piercer. Her passion and dedication to the craft definitely shine through in the customer service and care she provides to her clients and I’m so thankful for her help!

I pierced it in Kelowna at the end of a vacation and 2 weeks later when I was cleaning it it fell down so I called Stacy (based on the Google reviews) and she told me to come right away to the shop. Now the bump is gone and my piercing is healing smoothly. I just regret I did not go there in the first place!!!

The place and the employees are great and I have nothing against them but there was something I found odd. I got my tattoo done by Jeff and I came for my retouch which he said I should wait for due to the fact that it didn't heal. I understood this and appreciate that he extended the retouch period due to my skin's dryness and healing. However, when he finally retouched it, he didn't retouch it back to how it was and instead it looked like a run down version of the original tattoo. His excuse was that it was too small to work with and it'd be too hard to do but if you pay for a tattoo you expect it to be retouched and done to what you paid for and what you originally got. He also didn't make one of my other tattoo's 100% as accurate as the stencil one and again the excuse was it's too small.

She was very knowledgeable, professional, and serious about piercings (in a good way). The shop itself is very clean and well kept. I love this place!! I went in yesterday to pierce my nose and it was an excellent experience. Staci clearly knew what she was doing, she put me at ease and explained to me exactly what she was going to do, before she did it. This helped with nerves a lot since I knew what to expect. I ended up being pretty chill the whole time and found the pain wasn’t too bad! Granted, my pain tolerance is pretty good, (I think) but Staci did the piercing so fast and with such expertise that I know it helped. She went over the care with me after and I felt very prepared to take it on. My sister and her friend also got tattoos on the whim and they had no problem fitting them in. They looked beautiful. As I was waiting for their tattoos to be done, Staci came over to see how I was doing which I really appreciated. And my nose stud looks great!!! Overall it was a fantastic experience and I’m really glad I chose Geronimo for my first piercing. If I choose to get more, I will definitely be back!! We were visiting from out of town and based on prior reviews we decided this was a good shop. The artist we had hacked the hell out of my skin. The tattoo we chose was small and not complicated. All of the lines are skakey. The artist could not get himself nor my foot into a comfortable position. He fidgeted constantly with the light and his machine. I have many tattoos from many different shops and artists and I will now be looking for a local artist to fix this very shakey tattoo. The receptionist at the shop was amazing. She was friendly and helpful and is the only reason we felt good being a walk-in client.

I rarely write reviews but this experience does not sit well with me. I recently got a tattoo done at this shop. The following morning, I noticed that the ink looked like it was spreading. After doing a google search I realized I had tattoo blowout. I emailed the tattoo shop to have them confirm whether it was tattoo blowout or not. They responded and recommended for me to come in once the tattoo has healed. At this point, I have already accepted that my tattoo has indeed blownout and figured I would just get it removed with laser. However, my sister paid for the tattoo and I felt bad that she had just wasted money on a tattoo that was going to be removed. I figured I might go to the shop to have them take a look at my tattoo to determine whether it was ready to be removed and ask whether she could be credited to get a small tattoo. When I went into the tattoo shop, the tattoo artist proceeded to ask me if I followed the after-care instructions that he gave me. I told him that he NEVER gave me after-care instructions. My sister who also got a tattoo that day can vouch for me as she never got after-care instructions as well. As expected, he insisted that he did which was a complete lie. However, he did admit to not giving us the after-care pamphlet…. If he had given me instructions, there is no doubt that I would have followed them to prevent this from happening. He made it seem as if I should have known… I didn’t further pressed him on his negligence as he had a client in his chair and I did not want to make the situation any more awkward than it already was. He refused the give my sister credit for a small tattoo which I don’t understand... I wasn’t being unreasonable and asking for a refund. However, he did offer to fix the blowout by adding skin coloured pigment around the tattoo. I declined as I did not trust that he would do a good job after the first incident. I had the tattoo done in an area where the skin is thin and there is a lot of movement which makes it even more prone to blowout. I understand that these things happen and that you can’t always predict whether a tattoo will blowout or not. However, it is your job as a tattoo artist to inform clients and provide clients with after-care instructions and not just assume they know. This is especially important for someone who is getting a tattoo done for the first time and does not know how to care for their tattoo. YOU are the tattoo artist and in most cases you are more knowledgeable than the client. It is your duty to make sure EVERY client is informed of after-care instructions, whether it is their first or 20th tattoo. Every time my sister has gotten a tattoo at Adrenaline she has always gotten after-care instructions without fail. In my opinion, failing to do so and proceeding to lie about it is beyond unprofessional. I would not recommended this tattoo shop and especially not the tattoo artist.

I got my first tattoo here, and while the staff was accommodating, the artist Dan did not look at my images and then was super rude and impatient when what he had ready for me was totally wrong. Had to redesign in person, and I just felt like more and more of an inconvenience. Got the tat done, but went way too deep in some places and too light in others. Had to come back for retouches and now it's even more uneven. Had a very different experience with no retouching needed at a different shop for a different tattoo, so I know this was not normal process. Will not be going back. Got it Dec 31, 2016

She was very confident with her work which made me feel super comfortable! She was very informative and answered all my questions whenever I had one. I will start off by saying that Staci was great and comforting while getting my nostril pierced. Unfortunately, I have to give a lower rating as the jewelry material, Bioflex was a very poor decision for my nostril piercing. This material gave me a constant irritation bump and the end of the jewelry dug through my skin making another bump on the inside. I had to go to an APP Certified Piercing Shop to get implant grade titanium jewelry as this is proven to be safe and effective for piercings, the staff there were shocked with how I was given this jewelry. I was constantly doing sterile sprays 2-3x per day as you do and being careful, alas nothing helped. Bioflex does not seem to appear on the APP/Safe Piercing website for initial piercings, and a google search shows other users saying that it is really not recommended, except for the manufacturer or the couple businesses that try to sell it. It would be great if you could give the option for a pricier, safer jewelry initially instead of going straight for Bioflex. I'd rather pay more for researched and proven safe piercing material instead of paying an extra $180 somewhere else to fix my issue! Otherwise friendly staff and convenience.

On the long weekend my friend and I decided we would travel to Vancouver and while we were there we had the great idea to get a new piercing! We both got our nose pierced, since ours grew over and Staci did the piercings! She is awesome!! Super nice and a lot of fun to talk to! When you walk into her piercing room you see names and drawings all over from the little kids that have had piercings done and it’s a super fun idea! I am old and scared but I know I want to get one in my life! My original artist was no longer ger there so Dan accommodated me and honored my deposit. Consultation with Dan was delightful, encouraging and he is very fun but honest with his inputs to the design. The place is clean and very organized, all the staffs are friendly. My first session was done 2 weeks ago and I am back today for my retouch. My pain tolerance is low, I'm a big baby (old one too so my skin tears more!) but I survived and I love the end result. The art in me that I own, i love it and i recommend my tattoo artist Dan, he is very patient, will make you feel comfortable, great communication during consultation, and during the session and answers to all my messages and text when I have any question! And I am happy with his work! This place is very professional, and Dan is very honest during consultation. While waiting I overheard his advice to a young lady who wanted a tattoo on her hand, his honestly told her to think about it, since she's thinking of a very visible area.. they do give a great consultation and gives the clients time you think and be happy with this permanent body art. Tracy is very friendly and supportive , I might come back for piercing one day! Lots of young kids came for ear piercing on my first visit, and today lots of walk in tattoo inquiries and they answer them with honesty. I got my one tattoo in my life but possible go back gir retouch or ear peircing one day!! Thanks Dan!!!

I got three piercings done with Staci. Lobes and helix. She's so personable! I was a bit nervous since they were my first piercings but Staci made me feel comfortable and she's very gentle. She also takes you into a separate room which I really appreciated. There was absolutely no pain, just some pressure. She also gives you plenty of after care instructions and now I'm impatiently waiting for my piercings to heal!!

My fiance and I went to Geronimo Tattoos today (Dec 27, 2019 @ 12:30 pm). I had emailed Dan a few days before and had sent him the images I wanted to get tattooed and the sizes. Dan provided me with an estimate and booked me an appointment. I arrived a bit early and Dan took me in a bit early and focused only on my Fiance and I. Dan let us know about the design details and worked out the exact size and details that we wanted. He drew it out exactly how we imagined and even added his own creative touch that made the design look even more appealing. Dan was extremely kind and confident in his abilities. He was able to give both of us the exact tattoos that we wanted and was super knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. He was honest and really did value the profession of art and tattoos then money. Dan gave us a very good deal and was very precise and timely in doing the tattoo. For anyone that gives bad reviews, I would highly ignore them as they either could not follow the after care instructions or did not listen to staff instructions/ werent flexible. Dan told us right off the bat that the first tattoo we wanted needed to be modified as the details would not be captured. He also gave us pros and cons of the area we wanted. If we were stubborn, we would go through with it and then later realize staff were right. Dan tells you straight away what he can do and what will be best. He is a master in his field and for people who complain afterwards, well, they sort of deserve it for being stubborn. Overall, all staff were friendly and this is a great place to get tattoos at a very good price by caring staff. Such a worst tattoo place ever seen. Worst manager. Was yelling at us for no reason infront of other customers when we went to touch up for our tattoo which faded away in 2weeks. We were allowed without masks by an employee but manager asked us to get out and was yelling at us to buy masks for a dollar(after spending $600 on tattoo earlier). Definitely not COVID safe. Doesn’t know how to deal with customers. such a shame.

Spur of the moment decided to get a tattoo, went to the shop and they were awesome! Dan had the patience to talk ideas with me and then did an amazing jobs, and was great to talk to the whole time I was there. I wish I could give them an extra star as I was leaving a young kid probably 19 came in with no other tattoos and wanted a neck tattoo. The shop talked to him about that decision and made sure he didn’t make a rash decision that he would regrett.

I now believe all the bad reviews on here and place has really gone down hill in the last year had high expectations for this place when I whent in because of past good reviews but I was sadly disappointed with the service, I was greated by Stacy and the owner Yves and right from the start they were very condescending and pressured me into something I really didn't want, the artist tried really hard but could not pull a single straight line going over it over and over again until the lines where all different thickness, I should of had a closer look at the tattoos that were posted on social media, I am really unhappy with my tattoo and my experience, please do your research before considering this place

The shop is very clean and well kept but still has a cool vibe. I came here yesterday to get my nose pierced by Staci for the first time. I walked in with a bit of anxiety as I dont like needles. She eased any stress I had in my mind once I sat in the piercing room. I was blown away at her level of knowledge and genuine care for her clients. She explained everything she was doing went in depth like no other piercer I've ever been too. She was in depth and didnt rush the process when explaining after care as well as every step of the piercing process. She was very kind and her energy made my anxiety melt away very fast. She is the best piercer I've ever been to in my life! She is a master at her craft after her explaining everything to me I felt at ease.I knew I was in good hands! I am beyond satisfied with my experience at Geromioma. The other 2 staff the were also very friendly as well and just good vibes. She is a gem in this city. Got a lobe and conch piercing and I loved it. Staci is amazing at what she does. She's very thorough with her explanations, very clean and quick in the process. I was nervous going in but there was no pain at all. She also provides after care and made me feel a lot of faith for what she does. If you are nervous about the pain or had a bad previous experience like me, this place is worth the price.

I cannot see why anyone would have anything bad to say about this place. As soon as me and my brother walked in we were immediately welcomed by the staff. This is the first piercing place I have been to that did not try to up-sell me and got straight to the piercing (I was in and out in about 15 minutes). The prices were extremely fair as well, especially for the quality and service you are receiving. I would recommend Geronimo to anyone. Staci is a gem!
