Absolutely first class. I'm having work done by Michi. Super soft with the needle, the lines are solid and steady. Great skills.. he was also able to come up with an awesome design based on the ideas I gave him. I'm glad I gave him control on size and placement, let the artists do their thing! If you're reading this while contemplating your first ink, this would be a great place to start. Photos to come once completed..

I was tattooed by their new apprentice, Jen, (@veryveryuncool on Instagram) she did an amazing job giving me a little lemon wedge on my wrist. She’s incredibly talented for someone so young in her career. Not only that but Michi (@michi.tattoo) is a true master. Shortly after getting my tattoo from Jen, I booked a tattoo from him and I cannot wait to get it done. I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Iqbal (@iqbaltattoo) yet but his work on IG is great. The shop has a great atmosphere, everyone their is super talented, and I will be recommending this shop to anyone I know looking to get tattooed.

Michi is one of the most talented artists in the world. The whole process from wanting a tattoo, to booking & deposit, to appointment, to execution is smooth and straightforward. The studio is easily located close to the Skytrain Sapperton station, but also by bus, and there are plenty of shops around if you need food & drink or wait before your tattoo appointment. The studio itself is big, very clean, organized, and makes you feel good when you enter. I visited before and after the whole Coronavirus and on all occasions it was safe: we both wore masks, we washed hands about 5 times during the appointment, and I went through all the necessary steps that Fraser Health has asked to follow, so there is nothing to worry about. Michi is very professional, doesn't talk non-sense and will explain everything you need to have a great experience. On top of that, he has a great personality and is a very nice guy to talk about everything. Bonus point for playing cool music and talking bands. He's also very crafted, honestly his hand is light and he knows how to use the needle so I never really had much pain, and I can tell that because he tattooed my ribs! And then the designs. I love his style and his imagination just clicks with what I want. I've now had 2 tattoos done by Michi, one before and one after Covid-19 restrictions, and hopefully there will be more. I recommend Mitch and Fall Back Down Tattoo studio 110%. Book him while you can!

The COVID-19 protocols at this shop were excellent. The 3 tattoo artists were friendly but also very professional. The atmosphere was so calm and inviting, with decent music being played in the background. The location is super easy to get to and to find parking. I was so pleased to get tattooed by Nico; her work is fabulous and her work ethic is #1. She has a light touch with the process; no bleeding or skin trauma and afterwards no need for touch ups. I will definitely be returning for more ink at Fall Back Down and Nico.

I love Michi so much. He helped me learn to sit longer and after an upper arm piece we did a full sleeve and plan on many more. He can do anything and I'm really excited to see what's next. I feel better after a sit with him. Not just an amazing tattooist but an incredible human. I highly recommend him.

Jen was an absolute gem. She was so welcoming and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire experience. I brought in a design I liked and she even put her own spin on it and made something even better! 10/10 would go back and see her again for my next tattoo!

I absolutely adore the work that Michi has done on both of my arm sleeves. He is a man of many talents, but especially when it comes to tattooing. Although he is capable in many different styles of drawing, his gift in realism really shines in either colour or black and grey tattoos. The way he can bring together multiple complex ideas into one big picture all while still minding the small details is genius. I have great trust in his vision. Not to mention too that he is so gentle with the needle. This really helps speed up the healing process. Coming into the shop is always a welcoming and professional experience. Whether it be the cleanliness, the good music or the excellent conversation you're always in for a good time. I really don’t see myself going anywhere else for my next tattoo.

I had a really large scar on my arm. I met Michi through a friend who had an awesome tattoo and he mentioned he was very experienced with cover ups and scars. Michi designed an amazing sleeve and I feel way better about myself now that the massive scar isn’t visible. Michi and the guys at his shop are really clean and professional. I don’t ever write reviews, but this place is deserving of one. I got 99% of my work done from Jen and I’ve had an amazing experience every time. The shop does an amazing job with Covid mandates and protocols and the store is glossy clean to the point where I could eat my lunch off of the floor. Despite only having 3 artists, there’s one for everyone’s style preference. Everyone who works there is very friendly and super welcoming. I will definitely be getting majority of my work done here in the future!

Got some amazing linework by Jen! Super professional, custom made my tattoo EXACTLY how I wanted it, but with her own flare. It turned out amazing. She also made sure I was always comfortable and we readjusted when she needed to. The place itself was air conditioned (thank God) and super clean. Would definitely recommend this place to other people! Also had a chat with one other client getting work done by the other artist and his arm piece was awesome. He also spoke highly of the place and has had a few sessions there too.

I got a couple of tattoos from Jen and she was lovely! Very compassionate and considerate the whole time asking if I was comfortable and readjusting if I needed to and providing water. The other artists and the shop Michi and Iqbal were also very respectful and relaxed which provides a very comfortable and open atmosphere within the shop. As an additional note, the shop is very clean and well maintained. I would absolutely recommend that any reasonable person looking for a tattoo go here as my experiences have been wholly positive.
