This is the only place I trust for piercings. Josh is super knowledgeable and he takes time to listen and answer all questions you have thoroughly. He definitely knows what he is doing; I got my industrial done here by him and it’s healed great, they use good quality jewelry and make sure your experience is a great one. I haven’t gotten any tattoos from any of the artists here yet, but I plan to soon because of the good experiences I’ve had with the piercer. Definitely recommend going here if you are just getting pierced for the first time and have a ton of questions that you want answered well, or if you’re just adding to your collection!! :)

I booked an appointment for my friend and I to get our navels pierced together. On the day of our piercing we walked into the shop to find it to be extremely clean. We where welcomed as soon as we walked in with our piercer waiting for us (we were late for traffic but still had zero issues) our piercer looked at my friends navel then mine and decided she wouldn’t be right for one biased of shape, luckily for me I was good to get it. My friend decided to get her cartilage pierced instead so we both could get a piercing. The piercing room was very clean and professional looking. I was terrified of needles and only had my ears pierced with the piercing gun before. The piercer walked us through the cleaning routine and how to keep our piercings in perfect shape, while my navel jewellery was being sterilized in the same room. I was walked through all the steps of the piercing and was assured i was in good hands. Needless to say the piercing was a breeze! I was amazed and absolutely in love with my piercing. My friend got hers done and we where both happy! I love the shop and the environment everyone was very friendly it was extremely clean and very comfortable inside. I would 100% recommend getting a piercing here, from friendly staff, to clean environment. My friend and I are very happy to have been lucky enough to been pierced at WayCool Tattoos and look forward to coming back again!

I’ve been going here since probably 09. I got my first tattoo here when I was 16, and have gotten every one since here. Josh is always great at the front of the store with customer service. Jamie did a calf tattoo for me and 2+ years after doing it recognized it when I was at the shop recently. Casey is also one of the coolest tattoo artists I’ve ever met, he’s done 50% of my tattoos now. Nothing but good experiences!

The first time I went into the shop- it was great! The staff were friendly and really focused on communicating and understanding what I wanted - they were welcoming and I was really impressed. The place is always clean and I like the set up of booths. However, since my first tattoo I've been to the shop two more times. The second time my first artist no longer worked there so I got paired with a different artist and he did a terrible job. (he ruined a letter in the middle of a word and by making that single letter much bigger than the rest- it looked sloppy) So I went back but they said it was impossible to correct the mistake. Because of that I took a break from tattoos until my most recent visit. This tattoo was a really tiny one yet it cost more than my other tattoo which is 5 times the size. I felt really ripped off especially since he didn't properly quote me before tattooing. I left with a sour taste in my mouth since they charged me double what they should've. The current staff are not very friendly, unprofessional, and were slacking off. The tattoo itself took 10 minutes, but I was there an hour and a half because no one had their act together. I was loyal to this tattoo shop but now after my past 2 visits, I think its time to look for a new place. In conclusion, it was a good shop 6 years ago when I started tattooing but now the staff are not devoted to service and they're really overcharging clients. Its a shame since it's so close by and I have many more tattoos planned- but it'll have to be done at a shop with better care for their clients.

My daughter and I both got tats on our first visit to Waycool Tattoo. The staff are all very friendly and helpful too. We were a walk in apt and we did not have to wait very long. Our artist was Brandon. Simply put...The Best! He is very professional but very engaging. My daughter was very comfortable with him. Everything is sterile which was most important to me. I was really impressed they even cleaned the table we laid on between doing the 2 tats. Brandon told us he treats his clients as his wife or daughter, meaning if he wouldn't put the tat on them he will give you honest advice about what you want done! I can't wait to go back and get my next tat done!

Asked for something similar to this (first pic) this is what I got (last two pics) for the most important tattoo of my life….. “I HAD” a booked appointment but was not added to the day because my consent forms were put away by accident (yes, consent, instalment and booked) when I got there I was not on the schedule, they did it anyways realizing their mistake. Guess it was my mistake to continue but they said NO REFUNDS. SOMETHING THAT WAS SO SPECIAL WAS A DISASTER, AND COST ME AN EXTRA $500 TO GET FIX THE BEST IT COULD GET FIXED. SO SAD (I cried for weeks) AND DISAPPOINTING. I never give reviews but I don’t want this to happen to someone else

I got my first tattoo last year - a rather large half-sleeve piece that ended up being less than satisfactory. It was a year of regret especially since it wasn't a cheap or painless endeavour. It was by chance that I stepped into the Way Cool Tattoo Parlour in Oakville a couple of months ago and was referred to Jamie to re-work the original piece. Long story short: Jamie dynamically changed the design, the intensity and the character of the original artwork. The piece came to life in a rather unbelievable way. Of special note is the fact that it is not just a job to him but rather a creative experience, which he takes personally and very seriously. There are times during the course of his work, where I am thoroughly satisfied with his work (or unable to cope with any more pain!) but he has an over-arching vision which he does not compromise on and continues to tweak even the most miniscule of imperfections. The rework on the original tattoo is almost complete and I have to say that what was once just a random drawing has taken a life of its own and become a very treasured experience and form of expression for me. I cannot recommend him enough.

I got a custom tattoo from Brandon B, and I was amazed at how well the process went from beginning to end. I came in for a consultation with him, and he immediately saw eye to eye with me on my idea. He suggested some adjustments to my digitally drawn design that would make the tattoo look better, and I made them right away. Two days later, I came in with my friend, and Brandon made us very comfortable. It was a rib tattoo - one that is in a more painful area - but Brandon's sense of humor made the experience much better. I gave him creative freedom and he made it even better than the design. I wasn't hesitant to trust him because I was blown away when he remembered very subtle things I said during my consultation. I am definitely going back there to my next tattoo - very good environment and talented staff.

Came in to see Rossie about a nose piercing I had done in Toronto that didn't sit right with me, it felt like it was sinking and my nose was inflamed and swollen. After I called and explained to the front desk, I was spoken to with such care and warmth and so I booked an appt to see a piercer. Rossie confirmed my feelings were right and said the jewelry was far too small and didn't allow for proper healing. She then switched it out with a longer bar and beautiful little stud, virtually painless! After telling her I was feeling anxious, Rossie was so sweet and so kind and made me feel so comfortable. Y nose feels so much better with the new jewelery. She's extremely knowledgeable and I wish I just went to her in the first place. Will definitely be revisiting for future piercings. Thank you Rossie and the Way Cool team!

I can’t say enough about our amazing experience today when I took my 7 year old to have her ears pierced. She had been looking forward to the event for years, but when she arrived was quite nervous. Norm was wonderful. He took so much care with her feelings and confidence, making sure she understood the process while never talking down to her. If I hadn’t had my mask on you would have seen my smile the whole time as I watched the interaction. Asking for consent for everything - not mine, but hers (which is how it should be). Norm and Rossi were awesome. I recommend WayCool if your young people want to be pierced.

I typically really really did like this place until they got a new receptionist. Every time I've gone in the receptionist has been extremely rude and hard to deal with and has refused many many services that have made zero sense to be refused. Like buying the topper for my nose ring that I have four of. She needs significant amount more training to be working where she is working to give a good experience to customers who walk in. I love the piercer I love the tattoo artist but the receptionist has completely ruined it for me

Went here today to get a simple script tattoo. I'm decently tattooed, so I know small script tattoos aren't looked at as anything challenging or complex. I was pleasenty surprised by how nice and dedicated everyone I interacted with was to make my experience a good one. I didn't catch the guy at the front desks name, dreads and some awesome horns. He instantly made me feel comfortable and at ease. Brandon was absolutely top notch, one of the best artists I've had tattoo me. Not just because of his talent, (though he does do some mean script) but more for his patience and understanding that even though it was a four word script tattoo it was still important to me to have it look the way I wanted. When I wasn't crazy about the font he drew up he let me browse a site to find the right font, and didn't rush me even though I was causing a delay in the shops day. Very, very impressed with the positive, professional attitude and vibe in this shop. I've been into dozens and haven't found one this professional and welcoming to every person who walks in the door. Thank you way cool, for making my birthday experience awesome. I will definitely be back. :)

Way cool has amazing service! I definitely recommend you take a look here for your next trip! They offered me food and water and the staff is super cool. Adam, in particular took his time while doing the concept we drew up and although it was the first session, I couldn't be happier. It was a great experience. Horrible customer service and attitude from the front desk receptionist. Did not tell me I needed to make an appointment to see the piercer briefly. Opposite experience at Paris Ink, where I was informed of when to come in on the phone.

Can't say enough about the excellent service I received from Casey. My older daughter is an ongoing client (I'm resigning myself to her love of tattoos) of Casey's. Because I am from out of town, I really was anxious to have it done on the day of my appointment. So thankful that I listened to Casey and we used my Saturday appointment time to complete the design I wanted. He paid particular attention to the details and kept telling me that I need to walk away "loving" it, not just "liking" it. I returned on the Sunday even though Casey doesn't work Sundays. His work was amazing and yes, I LOVE it! My other daughter and husband came in halfway through and Casey was very personable and he's just a very interesting, genuine guy. My older daughter says it's really great and the younger one said it was sick. Now, you know it's amazing when my NON - tattoo husband says how great it looks! If you're looking to get a good tattoo done do not go here. The work I got done was horrible, the "artist" got high before hand and messed up every single part of my tattoo. This shop is the definition of "you get what you pay for". Trust me when I say pay extra money and go somewhere else.

I had a great experience here. I called asking if I could do a walk-in and they were able to squeeze me in just two hours later, no problems. The people here are extremely nice and welcoming, and the place is very clean. Bert did my tattoo, and he was such a nice guy and was very accomodating and did a great job with my tattoo, for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this place and Bert!
