I can't say enough good things about Vagabond Saints! The staff is A+ and owners Jim and Tonja have created such a friendly and inclusive environment for clients. I've been getting my nails done by Tonja for about a year now and she never disappoints, no matter what random nail art ideas I bring to her. I've also had the opportunity to be tattooed by Mr. Watts and I'm so happy with the result (plus it healed like a dream). 10/10 will definitely be back again :)

Clean and cool shop to get work done. There's a slight "you've got to be a regular feeling," but that just means you've got to make an effort. Which is totally fair to ask for tattoo shops. Getting inked is all about trust and understanding.

I have awful anxiety and a friend recommended this shop to me because it’s a safe space for anyone and everyone! I got my first tattoo here in 2019 from Sophia and was not disappointed! I messaged them before going and felt completely at ease with her response to my anxieties. She was like “you don’t have to talk at all you can just listen to me talking to myself.” I love my tattoo and it still looks amazing a couple years later. Thanks for making people feel welcome and comfy.

My tattoo experience with Elysse at Vagabond Saints was really wonderful, and I would encourage all folks to come here. Elysse drew up so many wonderful things for me to look at, which really blew me away considering I had only made the appointment 2 days beforehand. She was really kind and made me feel so comfortable. I felt safe there and the social distancing protocols, along with everyone wearing masks, was really important to me. I got my tattoo nearly a month ago now and it's healing so wonderfully! I will 100% be returning to the shop and I can't recommend Elysse enough!

I Love Vagabond Saints Tattoo Lounge and Spa! It has been set up and operated to offer everyone a little bit of everything. I met Cooper during the lock-downs, and we connected as fellow tattoo studio owners. It’s rare in our industry to share a lot of the same beliefs and ideologies as other studio owners. Cooper came out to Sonic Tattoo for a visit, and it was great to finally meet in person. I will be returning the visit to his studio soon for the grand tour. I have started to connect with his staff, and they all come across as a great group of people and I look forward to meeting them soon. If you are looking for one of the most professional and diversified tattoo studios, then look no further. Cooper and the staff at Vagabond Saints Tattoo Lounge and Spa is the place.

I took my sister here to get our sister tattoos and Sophia went above and beyond our expectations. She did everything we had wanted and more; she knew our exact image we were going for! Worth every penny. Not to mention the atmosphere was perfect! Super clean and lots of character. Original review: I got a tattoo from sophia and my nails done from tonja on two separate occasions. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. Sophia was very thorough with the information regarding my first ever tattoo and made the whole process easy and fun! Tonja is amazing at nails with glitter and nail art at a really good price and my nails lasted 3.5 weeks before I needed to remove them!

I've had services done here and I had high hopes per the reviews. Overall the work I had done was good, however the man in the store made me feel very uncomfortable. He kept staring at me and not saying anything. Weird. He also said some side comments to his co-workers and It felt like he was talking about me. He said some things under his breathe. He looked at the work at the end and said nothing. What does that even mean I feel insecure.

A friend/coworker is visiting from out of town and we were exploring Hamilton a little bit on our (extended) lunch break. We came across Vagabond Saints and on a whim decided to see if they could take walk-ins. Mind you, we weren't expecting them to be able to accommodate us as we usually book in advance with our respective artists. Mr. Watts greeted us warmly at the door, and was extremely nice about letting us know he has a client just about to come in. He did, however, let us know their lovely apprentice Jessi was available, and although initially hesitant (have had a not-so-good experience with a walk-in before) I decided to go for it. Something about the establishment just makes you feel comfortable, safe, and also excited. It's beautifully decorated and extremely clean, which definitely helped ease any hesitation. I picked a tattoo from the flash book and within 15 minutes I was in the chair getting stabbed. Everything was wiped down prior and after, gloves were changed constantly, and everyone was wearing masks. The atmosphere was friendly, accepting, warm and friendly. The chairs are in an open setting and there's friendly banter between everyone. Just an all around amazing tattoo shop and I will definitely be returning :) Thank you Jessi, you did an amazing job with my little chubby bunny.

I stopped in here because I have heard a lot of great things about the owners. The variety of things they have are wicked cool! From soap to skateboards, from art to jewelry. From tattoos to nails. They were busy and having a sale on tattoos with a portion of their profits going to help a suicide prevention class that gets put on for free. I loved the atmosphere and have put this place on my list of places to gift shop. I love the local pride!!

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of being tattooed by Sophie twice already, and will definitely be back to see her more. She is so clean and professional, but very approachable and makes me feel as comfortable as possible. Her art is absolutely beautiful, and she works with you to make your perfect piece. I would never feel uncomfortable speaking about something I didn’t like in the tattoo, changing placement, etc. because of how open and professional Sophie is. I’ve given so many people her name, as I get compliments on the tattoos she’s given me every day. She’s for sure my go to artist! The shop itself is very clean and inviting, and somewhere you want to get tattooed. It is marked as a mental health safe space, and it 100% feels like a safe space. I can’t wait to visit again soon!!

Love everything about this shop! The artists, the vibe, the aesthetic and of course the work ethic! I’ve been tattooed by Sophia multiple times and always leave with a stunning piece and generally feeling better about myself! Sophia’s colour work is amazing, I used to get mainly black ink tattoos but after going to her I can admit I’m addicted to all things colourful! I highly recommended this shop and any of the artists working there! I have yet to get my nails done there but would love to the next time I’m in since the sets I’ve seen some there look fabulous :)
