My experience with Evan Dowdell left me absolutely destroyed. I waited 12+ months and paid several hundreds of dollars for a re-design of something I had created to be put on my forearm. At 9 o'clock at night, less than 24hours before my appointment I was sent a half finished sketch. Given this was going to be my first tattoo, I stated politely and professionally that I needed more than at least 42+hours to decide whether or not I was completely sure that I wanted the design on my body for life. I was met with this direct statement from Evan himself: "Thank you for wasting my time. I'm glad I spent my hours after work drawing for you." Apparently a several hundred dollar non-refundable deposit, and a years worth of my time waiting to see the tattoo only to have it rushed out the night before is my fault. I do not recommend anyone do business with Evan. His tattoo work may be spectacular, but his business practices are unprofessional, lazy, and childish.

I have been other places but always come back to Time will Tell and this will be the only place I go from now on...lesson learned :P This shop has just relocated and the new shop is amazing, such an awesome atmosphere and experience. Andrew does amazing custom work, and can create just what you are looking for, even when it doesnt quite make sense, he gets it. All the artists are talented, and are laid back but professional. I am a fairly tattooed person, and have had 3 different artists previously do my work. Evan has been a bucket list tattooer for me for sometime, and I was elated when he took me on a as a client recently. Trust me when I say this....he is worth the wait and good things come to those who wait. Any world class artist will have a waiting list, so prepare for that, and just let the anticipation build up until the day. Remember being a kid Christmas morning? That's how I feel about my sessions with Evan. Despite not enjoying the pain that always comes with getting work done, he makes it as enjoyable as it could possibly be, and is light handed which is a huge bonus when you've had a heavy handed experience. Also understand that not all clients and their wishes are a fit for every artist, and with a long waiting list, can't see them all! An artist has worked hard when they get to a position in their career when they can hand select clients based on what that client is looking to get tattooed. At this shop, you have every option you could want if seeking some incredible work, so be sure to check out all of the artists here! Now that I'm a client, there is no turning back, this is the THE shop in the region. For those new to tattoos, I would also highly recommend this shop, as there is an immediate sense of comfort when you walk in. As others have mentioned, the shop is immaculate and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. They are also a really fun crew, so it's always a good time. This is how tattooing should be, although I don't even believe it's standard measure based on what others have said about other establishments. 10/10 would be a lifer here.

I got my traditional tattoo with Dylan. He gave me exactly what I wanted with beautiful lines and a rich colour palette. I am in love with the tattoo. Dylan was very kind and friendly. Highly recommend this shop, especially for traditional work

UPDATE!!!! I LOVE CURTIS! Seriously that guy is amazing and so easy to work with. He was incredibly respectful of my tattoos and went above and beyond for each one, and I feel terrible that they've all be boring for an artist to do. Just lines and greys, but I have sent everyone I know to this shop and specifically to Curtis. 10\10 will be back. 6\6 tatts done by Curtis! Staff was friendly. Very helpful and neat at their job, the artist was fast and clean with the linework. Tatt looks amazing!

Talented artists who care more about their portfolio than actually getting you what you want. Routinely dismissed or ignored as a customer even after paying my deposit... I guess my tattoo wasn't cool enough for them to put some effort in. If you want a voice in your own tattoo go somewhere else.

As I have fully healed from the tattoo I received from Time Will Tell Tattoo in Burlington, and have been able to appreciate the final product, I wanted to highly recommend this tattoo shop to any other potential customers. The location was incredibly convenient, the interior was clean and polished, but most importantly, Evan, Bailey, and Andrew, who create their work there are truly a cut above the rest. From initial consultation (I requested a custom tattoo on my leg) to the two 3 hour sittings to complete the work, I was nothing short of totally impressed. In particular, Andrew's work done on me was exceptional - exactly what I wanted, and our conversations were educational and enjoyable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the tattooing process, and answered any general questions I had. He truly enjoys his craft, and it shows in the work he does. I highly recommend anyone to go check the place out if their considering getting a first, or an additional tattoo, you will not be disappointed by the calibre of work and artistic quality and skill that not only Andrew, but Evan and Bailey are able to do.

The shop is a comfortable and a very clean space for getting tattooed. I've been getting tattooed by Evan over the past 10 years and the work speaks for itself. Time will tell has also taken Covid-19 seriously with opening their doors to clients making sure masks are worn by everyone in the shop while limiting the amount of patrons to keep things safe.
