I have been going to Angel since before this shop opened, and continued to go to her when she switched to HTP. She has the best work and I am always so pleased and thrilled about all my tattoos done by her. Shes so down to earth, kind and really knows how to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I have also got tattooed by Aidan and she was lovely, she did such a beautiful piece on me. Shes also super kind and just an overall great person/artist. The shop is beautiful and the atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. I always recommend all my friends to this shop because every single artist there is 100% talented and will not disappoint. Not a great experience here. Multiple reasons.. I did like my tattoos because they were simple and couldn't get screwed up but service was a joke. I waited over an hour past my appointment time, probably over paid. I paid 100$ to book my appointment for 15 minutes worth of tattoos, then 60$ day of appointment, but sure, I figured high price for good service. My boyfriend was asking about a lion tattoo he wanted and called in advance a week before going in to book. When he came to book/consult the guy(the owner) who would do it was not there. Then they said that guy(owner) was sick of lions and would not do it. He just didnt feel like it...hmmm. excellent way to run a professional business. My boyfriend was devastated to waste his time coming downtown after calling in advance and then practically being laughed off. Never ever recommending anyone here.

The best shop in the city!!! I have been coming to this shop for over 3 years now. Their work is amaizing esp if you are looking for a realism tattoo but they can also do pretty much anything. I first met Angel at the Nix expo in Toronto 3 yrs ago and I have been going to this shop regularly to get work done. I have pretty much gotten tattooed by all of the artists there. Chad tattooed my 4 kitties and he did an amazing job! They look just like them???? Ty is the artist I see all the time now. He does such amazing work. I get compliments on all of my tattoos esp when I travel. I even have a bleeding disorder and the artists were not affraid to work on me and have been very patient with me as they can only tattoo me for a certain amount of hours per session. I am so glad I met these amazing tattoo artists. Sometimes there is a wait to book a tattoo but it is definitely worth it. You will be very happy with the tattoos you get!

Got my first tattoo here! It was a lovely experience and Mike was down to earth and funny and generally made the whole experience less nerve wracking. My black line heart ( it had curves and embellishes) came out so thin and neat I sort of want to go back to Canada when I'm ready for my second just for Mike to do it! Everyone there was kind and when I looked through the artist books the only thing I could think was "talented". Clean, professional, and in a lovely section of Hamilton. I recommend!

Got my first ever tattoo here done by Aaron. What a maestro the guy is at realism style tattoos. One of the main things that I truly enjoyed was the vibe at this shop. Every artist there seems to support one another. That type of unity and team environment in a tattoo shop goes a long way. Highly recommend this shop. 10/10 will not disappoint!

Friendliest Shop EVER!!! I went here for the first time last week to get a tattoo from a guest artist. His work was next level however it was the friendly attitude of all the artists/staff that really struck me. I was in there for 5 hours and in that time I saw people getting their first tattoo, others adding to some full sleeve work and others just asking questions. The entire staff is consistent in their supportive approach. Lot's of shops scare even the experienced tattoo client away but I will for sure be calling this one of my main places to go for ink. Can't wait to be back in December!

First time at Hamilton Tattoo Parlour, my tattoo artist was Wendy Hollin. Her specialty is Disney but a very well rounded artist. I was picked for her Halloween Day tattoo. My tattoo was of Mickey and Minnie Mouse dressed up as Jack Skellington & Sally. The tattoos are fantastic! She is awesome! I totally recommend Wendy Hollin if you want anything Disney. Fantastic experience. Just had a portrait done on my hand done by Aaron. He took his time to make sure every detail was perfect. Extremely down to earth and friendly guy who loves to tattoo. Prices are fantastic for the quality of work he puts out. The other artists in the shop were very friendly as well. I'll be going here for all my future tattoo work. I highly recommend this shop. Hamilton is full of bad to mediocre tattoo shops, these guys are the exception.

Came here because of the reviews online, but it was NOT a good experience for my first tattoo. The artist was impatient with me and made me very uneasy. Discussed the tattoo, I approved the stencil and placement, but by the end of it they changed the shape of one of the features which I did not like or expect. Displeased with the overall turn out, probably won't go back.

I waited 8 months for my appointment with Chad Jacobs and I would wait 8 more!!! He went above and beyond my great expectations. From start to finish, the entire process, Chad included me in every decision we spent a lot of time and changes on getting the design and size just right. The results are out of this world!!! Went with my mom to get her first tattoo. Matt Duke was so so so friendly and welcoming; she was a bit nervous but he made her feel comfortable. He explained everything well and very patiently helped to perfect her design. She left with the biggest smile and couldn't stop gushing about how wonderful the whole experience was. They explained nothing, just gave a date and wanted deposit. Had to cancel 24 hour in advance due to family emergency and they kept the whole 300 dollar deposit. I have reported to the better business bureau and will make sure Aaron and the shop gets the attention it needs

Best tattoo parlour to go to! I’ve been going for almost 2 years and always leave with work done that was greater then what I expected. I’ve been going to Chad for my sleeve and he’s gone above and beyond what any tattoo artist has for me. He always has ideas and is honest with me if any of my ideas won’t work. I’ve done my sleeve with him and feel as if the sleeve is custom designed for me and feels original! The staff are all friendly and you feel nothing but welcomed when you walk in. You can tell they’re like family that work there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of going!

I got my first tattoo done here today, and I highly recommend Hamilton Tattoo if you're considering getting inked! Aiden was the artist, and he did an awesome job. He chatted with me as he worked, and we joked around a little bit as he knew I was a bit nervous. The quality of the work and the friendly attitude of the entire staff put me at ease and made me feel confident in their professionalism! The parlour is very clean, with excellent sanitary and hygiene. I also thought that the cost for my tattoo was extremely reasonable. I have the utmost confidence recommending Hamilton Tattoo and would gladly return for more ink!
