J’ai finalement décidé d’attendre afin de pouvoir me faire tatouer par mon tatoueur. Mes impressions: usine à tatouages qui pense que les clients n’y connaissent rien.

I wanted to get my first tattoo and when I searched this place was described as " the best" . I wanted to get a little paw on my hand / wrist (didn't knew yet) I was 17 so as I read on their website I went with my dad cuz I was a minor...arrive there all the people from the tattoo shop were outside, I arrived befor my dad , so I went to talk to them. DIRECTELY they were looking at me as if I'm at the wrong place,I didn't felt welcomed at all but ignored that and I told them what I want to get, then a girl directly asked me why I want it , told her it's because i've been vegetarian for 2 years and for my love of animals. She REFUSES to tattoo me saying that my Reason "WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH" and that if it was a date of like my " mother's death"( exactly her words) they would do it...Like WHAT DO YOU MEAN? YOU as a tattoo artist have to tel me if my REASON is GOOD ENOUGH to get a tattoo? When i've seen a photo of someone getting a tattoo at your shop with " compassion and a V" clearly from VEGAN and the compassion for animals...soooo? Pretty much discrimination! Shame on you! I've never felt so down looked at! Even if you do the best tattoos never going to your place to receive that attitude!

I went in for a tattoo consultation. But I came out with a piercing. The staff was super friendly. They seem like one big family. The environment is superclean. And they are very informative. The actual parlour is awesome. They have portfolios and lots of them so you can find the right design for you. I'm a little bummed out about the consultation. But I guess we'll figure something out. I would just like to add, that I did have an appointment. We did meet Paul and I. I had even come in person prior, to show what I needed fixed and that is when we decided on the appointment. I understand Paul didn't know what to expect. But like I said we will definitely figure something out.

I love Romeo at Zen Tattoo. Not just because I've known him for 30+ years, but because he treated me really awesome when I got my first tattoo (I was 34) and never once pressured me to get one. It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted, but when I did, we sat down to talk ideas, shape, and colour. I admit I was skeptical about whether he would "get" my aesthetic because he does a lot of Asian-inspired art... but when I got the sketches back, I LOVED them.
