They managed to squeeze me in as a walk in, few hours before closing. Staff was very friendly, felt comfortable. Listened to what you wanted to get done. I had a quote on my shoulder that was done in the same writing as the actor I admire (who inscribed it for me). Kevin copied it very well. I'm happy with my tattoo

Terrible first time experience my wife went through, took her here for her birthday and it was a HUGE mistake! The artist she had didn't do it very well when she went back for a touch up the manager said they would fix it how she wanted it the artist said he would charge her again. She initially paid 100 (because the tattoo took 20 mins) and he wanted to charge her another 100 to fix it the way she wanted. HIS NAME IS BLAKE. She went to numerous different tattoo artist's and they all said it couldn't be fixed and the he is what is known in the tattoo industry as a scratcher

Piercing: I was treated well, my piercing was placed correctly, done quickly and cleanly. However I learned some time later, while having a potential keloid addressed, that I had been pierced twice and the initial misplaced piercing without jewellery in it was not draining and had become very irritated. I understand mistakes happen, but this issue cost me a lot of money in second opinions from piercers and a lot of discomfort. Was not a welcome surprise.

my tattoo didnt look that great so I went back to have him do touch ups that are suppose to be free , when I mentioned that ,the guy got upset and screwed my tattoo up really bad on purpose , he then sent me to leave with no cover on it, I would take my money else where if I was you

Went as a walk in they took me right away and had me done in 20 mins they where nice and explained everything so I knew what was going on since it was my first tattoo. Reception was good with my toddler while husband had him there all round great experience Edit I went back for a touch up because it needed fixing I was told that for what I wanted done as a touch up by the owner/reception was fine and I wouldn't have to pay i went back to talk to the artist and he only fixed it from Mary to many and said I'd have to pay for the rest of what I wanted fixed. Seeing as this is my first tattoo and is for my deceased grandmother and no one can fix what the artist has done I would have to get it removed or covered up

This place is incredible. The owner is a really great guy, in fact I can honestly say I've never met anyone quite like him. He's always going out of his way to help people, especially those in need in the local community. The artists are extremely talented; Blake is phenomenal, I am truly amazed at his artistic abilities and am so often blown away by his work. I've never seen portraits anywhere near the quality of his before. Kevin, another artist at Phoenix Tattoos, has done some of my own personal favorites that I still regularly get complimented on; he truly is a seasoned veteran in the industry and it really shows.

Good place for tattoos, he's been around for years and his piercer is so wonderful, so patient and I have lots of piercings already, I've been going to the same guy for 30+ years but glad I tried her, I got to watch her color my jewelry with a machine while she explained it all, crashed from the piercings and she was so patient and took such good care of me, will definitely be going back for more

I went in to discuss getting a tattoo I had been designing since I was 12 I'm no artist not am I a tattoo designer so I had no clue what to expect having been told by my friend who had shown my design to another tattoo shop that it could be done no questions asked I was excited to get that design done however things fell through with that shop and I found pheonix tattoo which I'm happy I did when I went in and discussed the design with them pheonix the owner broke down how a tattoo works how designing them works and we both came to the conclusion my design would just not look right at all it would look too crowded and to chaotic I even spoke to a few friends who do have tattoos after wards about the design and they even agreed so I'm glad pheonix was there to point me in the right direction with his knowledge So anyways after agreeing that getting my design wouldn't be a good idea I asked about a different design I had seen online he agreed it looked way better and they could easily do it he recommended his new artist Storm a gorgeous and talented young lady for the job and after meeting her and seeing her work I agreed she would be the best artist for the job We booked my apt but things fell through as she got sick than I got sick so it couldn't be helped After a few weeks of waiting finally the day came for me to get my tattoo April 14th I was excited I was anxious and I was nervous having never had a tattoo done in my life and being scared of needles I brought my mom and friend who was like an older brother with me to the shop the moment Storm came out she calmed me down her with her calm cheerful fun loving personality and we got to work and I was surprised it didn't even hurt I could of fallen asleep it was so peaceful and easy and she kept me calm the entire time we had a blast laughing it up on Facebook live I highly recommend pheonix tattoos and I highly recommend Storm as an artist she's so passionate and talented in what she does :) I've shown off my work to a few friends who have tattoos already and are super critical and even they could barely find anything wrong with my tattoo they thought it looked sick and amazing they said it was some of the best shading and color work they have ever seen and that says a alot coming from my harsh and critical friends Thanx again pheonix and storm I'll be back for sure

I highly recommend this place. My best friend and i went in to get matching place Tattoos. They were so accommodating of what we wanted and understanding of my friends anxieties. Highly affordable. But, not cheaply done at all. High quality and some of the top artists in bc Not to mention they have a cutie in the shop. Hes honestly the best store pet!! Our tattoo artist was amazing!! And i am most likely going to choose this place again!!! I love the atmosphere inside and red is my favorite color

When my partner and I had gone in to get our tattoos done yes matching one, and the guy was so lovely and so genuine as well as loved to crack jokes I would definetly nominate the for of the THE best tattoo shops.plus while you anxiously awaiting the artist to call your name.... That is something for that anxiety was well, they have a very friendly dog who is just 2 cute and sweet

Went with my old man to get the design from our wedding rings done on our wrists. Both of us have lines that shouldn't be there, mine is not even close to symmetrical and it should have been very simple to follow the stencil then fill in. It was my 26th tattoo and I have had better work done at house party's. Extremely unhappy with the work and I have to go have it fixed by someone else which means bigger and blacker!
