After having scoped out 4 or 5 tattoo shops close to where I live in Vancouver, I was recommended to Lady Luck in Langley.. BEST decision I have ever made! Tawd was the first person I met when I walked in and he immediately made me feel welcomed in the shop.. Which was a nice change from all of the other shops I walked into. I felt that he was very humble and listened really well to what I wanted! Sure enough, I went back to get a hip piece done - which he rocked! Not to mention, it was a cover up job! Tawd drew something up for me, I liked it, but wasn't in love... He then free handed some art directly on me, and it was perfect! He began working on it, and two hours later I had a beautiful masterpiece on my hip! In short: if you want an amazing tattoo, done by artists who are humble and kind, go to Lady Luck Tattoo in Langley!

Mike Prior is a really talented and open tattoo artist. For me...most importantly he is grounded in the fundamentals of art composition and can do it with a rad tattoo gun in his hand.The shop has all the right design touches and decor, so you feel like your getting tattooed in a legit tattoo parlor - but none of the old school stuck up BS that normally comes with it. Love the piece I got from Mike and will be back for more. Cheers.

Booked a consultation with Mike for my moms birthday to retouch her tattoo, what was supposed to be a positive experience quickly turned to an awkward, uncomfortable situation. He was blatantly rude to my mom and made us feel completely unwelcome and unwanted. Gave him all the information over the phone and waited 3 weeks for the date only to have our time wasted. I am DISGUSTED by the lack of people skills and unprofessionalism. Save yourself some time, money and energy and go ANYWHERE else.

I sent my husband there this week for his first tattoo as well and Mike captured what he wanted beautifully. There truly is no other place I’d go to get work done anymore. Lady Luck is a fantastic example of what a responsible, respectful and professional tattoo shop can be. I've had about 35 hours or so of work done with a couple different artists there and I have yet to have a bad experience (particularly painful areas aside). Everyone that works there is a joy to deal with. The shop was clean and safe pre-covid, and the measures taken since are the definition of responsible. All of the work I've had done has been amazing, usually well beyond what I was expecting. Even small or simple designs are treated seriously and with care. "Quality whether you want it or not" is accurate. I can also say that they have done well with difficult skin (scars, stretch marks...). And gave a no-bs assessment of difficulties and potential problems that can come from those.

The guys are super fantastic! The place is impeccably clean. Rob Hope did my tattoo and I love it!! He is an amazing artist and super humble. The other guys are great and add to the banter. Had some good laughs and watched some other pretty wicked tattoos get done while I got mine done.

Tattoo looked great but needed some touch up's. Todd has so much pride in his work he ended up redoing about half of the tattoo. My wife has had multiple tattoos done by Mike, both artists are great and have good chairside manner. For music they play this radio station that switches between multiple genres (ie. reggae to metal to classic rock). Back to back. It's an interesting mix, but I enjoyed it. Definitely going back if I get anything new in the future.
