He is an amazing artist, super personable, and has a great taste in movies for you to watch while getting your work done. Everything about my experience here was awesome. The space was clean, the staff was super friendly, the booking/consultation/working with the drawing beforehand was a great process. There is something special about this shop. You won't be disappointed, especially for script work. I enjoyed me experience so much. I even booked my next appointment before me tattoo was done. I can’t speak any more highly about how enjoyable my first tattoo experience was with Sage! It was so great I ended up leaving with two instead of just one! Before I get into the tattoo details I want to first mention how well kept the Diabolikal Ink store was as I was entering and getting my tattoo. The whole interior was so cozy, comfy and had a great aesthetic contrasting the cold and rainy, BC fall day. I was worried I would be cold in the shop wearing a tank top for my tattoo but their temperature was perfectly warm and also they had blankets available if you needed it. Well prepared for everything, great highly quality equipment. I drove an hour in traffic from Vancouver to Cloverdale for this tattoo and it was 1000% worth it. For the tattoo, I researched for weeks on IG and contacted so many tattoo artists all over the lower mainlands to see if anyone would tattoo my own art to be my first tattoo but got rejected by all except 1. Sage was an absolute angel, with such prompt responses and excitement to take on my piece. Although the design style was a bit more water colour inspired and the final piece was in full blue (something she hasn’t done before) she recreated my illustration more than perfectly and I am in love with seeing my art permanently on me! With only short of 2 years into her career, Sage is an absolute professional and anyone would be lucky to get a design done by her! The entire tattoo duration I was admiring all the previous work she’s done through the stencils on the wall and I already want to go back and book her for more because I fully believe Sage can do anything. So respectful of my art, her goal was to recreate exactly as what my piece looked like and was so respectful to me and my work. Even though so many other artists wanted to redesign my art in their style if they tattooed me. Sage answered all my questions I had prior, during and for after care which is what I appreciate so heavily as a first timer. I even ended getting an additional small text tatt on my wrist before leaving and Sage prepped it so promptly despite it being more spontaneous and less planned. At the end of the session I received a lovely goodie bag with stickers, after care instructions and gel. Also instead of getting my tattoo wrapped in Saran Wrap (which I was prepared for), they used a higher quality cover that made it so I can show friends and fam right away. Such a small detail that really makes for an amazing overall experience! Thank you so much Sage and team will definitely be back for more ????

One criticism I would give is for the owner... who had interrupted us a few times to complain about designs for the shop with Evelyn. I believe he should be more mindful of how he talks to his employees, especially in front of customers, it was not very kind.

Made an appointment to get matching tattoos with my sisters, even though we came in poorly prepared without even knowing exactly what we wanted Hardeep was able to sketch out something we all loved. I went to India a week later and came back to my tattoo being scabbed off (mainly my fault for not taking as much care as I probably should have). Hardeep was able to fix it so that you can't even tell it settled poorly! To top it all off he was very friendly and talkative throughout the appointments so that we felt involved during the whole process, cared for and informed us about how to take good care of our tattoos's properly (which I wish I followed the first time). I love my tattoo so much I already booked my next one with them! Thank you Diabolical Ink team for being such a welcoming and caring group!

Also he’s extremely slow, took him 5 hours to do 1 little flower on me which wasn’t done well. Multiple tattoo professionals have confirmed this (he’s not a professional)

I was looking for someone that specialized in fine line tattoos. Called around to a bunch of shops and had such a run around with having to fill out forms on artists Instagram. I called diabolikal and was able to book a consult within the same week. I went in for my consult, was recommended Evie do my tattoo. The only day that would work for me would be a Saturday, the shop called Evie who made her way into the shop super quick and sketched out my tattoo and did it same day. Will definitely be coming back for another tattoo at this shop.

I got my first tattoo here, at first I was very nervous because of all the mixed stereotypes of tattoos. When I called for a consultation Taren was really friendly to talk with. Once my mom and I met Taren and Hardeep during our consultation they were very knowledgeable and addressed all of our concerns. We left feeling very comfortable. On the day when I got my tattoo they made sure I was satisfied with the stenciling. While Hardeep was tattooing he had a very light hand and I did not feel that much pain. With aftercare they both basically said I can contact them any time with questions or concerns, "No question is a stupid question" . I will definitely recommend them.

I was told my tattoo would about 8 hours and ends up taking 15 hours. But to be fair he only charged me for 13. Every time I went there he was always late and it takes him nearly 2 hours to to set up plus he takes a 15-20 minute break after every hour of working. So if you are getting a tattoo that he says is going to take 5 hours be prepared to stay an extra 3 hours with all the breaks he takes and him being late. Worst of all my tattoo went dull after 2 months even though I took really good care of it. I won’t even bother coming in for my free touch up. I’ll get a professional to fix it instead.

Let's put it this way. I've been to many tattoo places previous to Diabolikal Ink and I honestly thought customer service just wasn't an aspect that tattoo parlours cared about. Till I came here. They addressed my concerns over previous negative tattoo experiences, made me feel welcomed, made me feel comfortable with last minute changes, and over and above all where extremely professional, clean, and confident. They would go above and beyond to help me with understanding areas of the tattoo that may have difficulties with aging and worked with me in collaboration to make sure their art piece and my tattoo had the best chance at longevity. Most places just want your business/money but these guys understand that yes it is your body, but it is also their artwork. Therefore they take pride in it. And I think that goes without saying the type of business they are.

Can not post nothing but positive things about Hardeep and his Team/Family. Mostly recently I got a piece created by Hardeep of the Liverpool FC logo and he knocked it out of the park. Very clean lines and his attention to the detail have gotten positive reviews from anyone that I’ve shown my piece to. And then we have Sage who did a memorial piece for me. This girl just started tattooing full time recently and you can’t tell. Hardeep definitely hit gold with her. You can definitely tell that this Team is more of a Family then a Employer/Employee environment. Can’t wait for my next piece (hopefully my wife doesn’t see this!)

My 16 year old daughter wanted to get a tattoo. I was hesitant in the beginning, but I thought let's go for a consultation then we will make our decision. We made an appointment with Diabolikal Ink. We were greeted by Taryn she was very friendly and knowledgeable. She explained the procedure and answered all of our questions. Leaving there we were very comfortable and booked an appointment. We met Hardeep(Owner /Artist) and Taryn they were very patient as we finalized the font. The actual procedure went so smoothly. Hardeep is really experienced and good at what he does. We absolutely love the tattoo. Charges were very reasonable. Even afterwards they answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends. No job is too big or small for them. They treat everyone with the same amount of care. Thanks Hardeep and Taryn a job well done. A Happy customer.

Hardeep is a talented artist. However after having had appointments cancelled twice, once he was sick and the next time he double booked the appointment. He then told me he didn’t remember our conversation. Hardeep then was refusing to give the deposit back and we began having a heated argument over the phone. The conversation ended with Hardeep swearing at me. Hardeep eventually gave the deposit back. Hardeep claims to run a “tight ship” but unfortunately my experience with him was less than adequate.

My Consultation. Hardeep and I had dusscused my tattoo idea. There was a name that needed to be covered up, Hardeep told me it wouldn't be an issue and after sharing some pictures I had with him, he told me he would come up with a design and show me a few days before my appointment. Few days before the appointment i reached out and he told me that he hadn't had the time to do it but he would get it done soon and share it with me. Then the night before my appointment he informed me that he didn't have anything drawn up as the tattoo needed to be placed once I was there as it was a cover up. Which was super frustrating and I didn't understand why he couldn't of just said that to start. The first appointment was at 1130am and I was there until until 530pm. In which Hardeep placed the stencil and started the outlining process. I was there for 6 hours and he hadn't even completely finished the outlining of the tattoo. My second appointment was at 12pm. Hardeep didn't show up until 1pm. When he arrived I thought the tattoo process would start rather quickly as he had hopped to be finished in this sitting. However once he finally arrived he started eating. We finally began tattooing at 130pm and finished at 645pm. Another 5 hours and the outlining and shading still wasn't complete. I had been tattoed for a total of 11 hours now and was extremely frustrated with how slow he was going. My 3rd Appointment was at 12pm. The appointment actually started relatively soon after I got there and I was excited because this was going to be the final appointment! Finished at 615pm. Overall experience is that Hardeep is not a very professional person and has no value for his clients time. Communication is kindof poor. He has TV shows playing and gets distracted by them which again is unprofessional in my opinion. He was Vaping inside while I was being tattooed which is extremely unprofessional and unhygienic! 17 hours and over $1400 to complete a tattoo the was half of my lower arm is completely ridiculous in my opinion. The tattoo itself is okay, the ink faded extremely quickly even after a touch up. Definitely would not recommend him to anyone.

My tattoo looks extremely faded after a couple months. Clearly this guy used cheap ink which was conformed by an actual tattoo artist. Also his realism is complete garbage I bet my nephew could draw better then him. Do your self a favour and not walk in
