I've been going to this location since 2 years.This is my favorite place! I got my belly button pierced there this month. Customer service is excellent. They go above and beyond to ensure customer is happy. They're so professional!!! I highly recommend this place to everyone and to all my family members.

Only ever had good experiences going to Planet Silver and I’ve went for a few of my piercings. Staff is friendly and piercer is professional. In terms of cleanliness etc, they are really safe. Atmosphere is nice and you even get a nice lil’ drink whenever you’re done getting pierced. They also have tons of jewelry from rings to necklaces and obviously earrings to look at. I highly recommend!

My girlfriend, my mom and I came here today! The staff was so friendly, extremely cleanly and we didn’t wait for very long. We all got our lobes done and (seconds for them and firsts for myself). This jewellery store, piercing/ tattoo salon is a "hidden gem", no pun intended. It offers a wide variety and styles of jewellery pieces. They have silver, gold, stainless steel, you name it. It was also tastefully displayed and in fact pleasing to look at. The manager is very accommodating as well as the sales associate. She was very patient in attending to all my needs despite the fact that I didn't buy what I was asking her to take out for me (men's bracelet). Inside the store there's a little nook where they do tattoos and body piercing. I also found out that their prices are lower than most jewellery stores inside the mall or in the strip plazas. There are so many designs to pick and some are unique pieces. It is located at a small plaza on Islington and it can be easily missed if you are not familiar with the area. Give this place a try even if you are only window shopping. I highly recommend it and probably go back again.

Just got two nipple piercings done today. The guy made the experience very comfortable and it was a really great atmosphere. I've have a lot of piercings in the past and I have done my research. Some suggest hydrogen peroxide and some don't. Usually if I notice the area getting dry I use the saline solution more often. The cost of the piercings were well priced in my opinion and if I am ever to come back to Toronto I'll probably be back to get another piercing or tattoo. Thanks so much!

Okay so the place is very nice and the staff were extremely kind and had great customer service. Now the reason I’m giving this place a low score. The piercer who did my tragus gave me extremely small jewelry with physically almost no room for swelling. So once it did start swelling, the jewelry basically got eaten by the skin and became embedded in it. I had to go to the doctor to get it removed with anesthetic because it was too painful to remove regularly. I have no idea if the piercer is a professional or not but I’ve never had an issue with my piercings before (I have 12) so this is definitely alarming.

Terrible experience, walked in and was told the wait for a piercing would be an hour wait and waited two hours. Later left with a repiercing (needle) of the earlobe with slight bleeding.

This place is average at best. Inside the store is pretty nice, however, the piercing is not very professional. I had a gun used on my seconds and a month later it started swelling and bleeding, like many others have said don't have your piercing done with a gun, it's not worth it. Another occasion I came to buy a nose retainer. I was told it was 18 gauge but after trouble and some pain trying to push it in, I realized it was slightly bigger than my other jewelry which is 18 gauge. It appears that the staff isn't very knowledgeable on piercings.

I went here this evening to get my nose pierced. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by two wonderful staff members. The shop was clean and well organized. - I've been to many tattoo/piercing shops all over Toronto and this one has left a lasting impression, I thank the employees for being so kind. Over the years of going into shops all over the city, kindness from employees in these shops is extremely rare and hard to find. He gave me clear instructions on how to maintain my piercings and answered all my questions to clear my doubts. I just got my belly button pierced 3 hours ago and I'm very happy! The guy who pierced me was very friendly and made it a very good experience. He clearly knew what he was doing and he did a great job. He was very calm and it helped me also be very calm which was great because I was really stressing about it. He also let me be on my phone while he pierced me so I could distract myself from what was happening and that helped so much! My piercing looks great I would definitely recommend!! Thank you!

I wouldn't recommend getting any piercings done at this shop. The man may be nice, but he is NOT a professional. He told me to clean my nose piercing with hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol. The combination of both caused a huge scab right above my piercing, which in then turned into a dark spot. More than 7 months later and the spot is still on my face! I most likely have to get cosmetic treatment done by a dermatologist just to remove this spot, if it'll even go away completely that is. And that little bag of sea salt that they have, is iodized. You shouldn't be cleaning a piercing with iodized sea salt. How these people still have their licence to administer piercings is beyond me. Save your money and the trip. Parking is terrible also btw.

My original piercer was not available and I needed to change my piercing due to swelling and infection as soon as possible so I came here. Best choice ever made! Very friendly and professional staff.(Dogs were so cute too!) So glad I found them, wish I had found them sooner. Definity recommended to anyone that needs a piercing. 5/5 stars!!! They also have tons of beautiful jewelry. I had to go to them to get my tragus piercing changed because my last piercer pierced it wrong, so it became very swollen and infected. Mika, the piercer was very clean, professional and was extremely helpful. After changing my piercing he explained what caused the swelling and infection and what he did to fix it and prevent it from happening again. Later that day as Mika said, my piercing was much better and the swelling had gone down almost completely. Today is the day after and I cleaned it following his instructions and everything looks like it has gone back to normal. A huge thanks to Planet Silver!! 100% recomoned!!! Sending all my friends!!! Definitely coming back for my next piercing!!!

I’m really confused as to how this place is still in business. My jewelry goes green and breaks within months of purchasing, I eventually just stopped going there all together. I also don’t know how they vet their employee’s but the piercer Matthew is a totally creep. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable when I went in for my conch piercing, he was hitting on me and making remarks about my body- as it was summer and I was wearing shorts and a crop top and even said “I have a thing for blondes with light eyes” I was later speaking to a friend and found out he has long standing history of sleeping with clients REGARDLESS of their age, and then gossiping false and personal information about them to other customers. WILD and SUPER unprofessional. Very embarrassing on the owner’s part. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

My experience here was great! i got my nose pierced, can't avoid the pain aspect but from walking into this place and being greeted by the friendly lady behind the counter, to leaving and everyone saying goodbye was great. Got 4 piercings here and 3 of them were done so POORLY (and i take great aftercare especially since my first piercing got infected right away). One of my ear piercings was WAY too tight and ended up INFECTING AND SCARRING my ear within days. They used a piercing gun to pierce them and was obviously not checked to ensure they were put on correctly and safely. (also learned not to get piercings when they use a piercing gun the hard way) Got my nose pierced here twice. First time the stud they gave me was too small and fell right through the piercing hole (literally like??? why was the hole so big/why would you allow me that stud on my first piercing??). Second time i got a ring (to avoid my previous problem) and they never pierced through my entire nose (the ring did not go through all the way and my piercing half closed on the inside). The ring was NOT closed (which they should have made sure???) and I was unaware of how to take it off because it was NOT connected in the first place. When I used pliers to take off the ring, I noticed it was only holding on because the ring was so tight. Please save yourself and just go to any other piercing place. Better safe than sorry especially when dealing with piercings.

Would not recommend getting a piercing here. In my experience, customer service was low and so was the jewellery quality. I got a belly piercing here a year ago and the piercing they gave me kept falling out. When I bought a new one, it continued to fall off as well. Their prices for jewellery are also expensive compared to ones online.

If I could vote 0 stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE FOR A TATTOO. Not only is the artist inexperienced, the location has poor costumer service. I got a finger tattoo here and the lines are not remotely straight. I should have ran when I noticed they did not provide an arm rest as support, and when I saw the artist’s shakey hands. They also accidentally poked a different finger with the needle and left a tattoo somewhere else!!! They will not offer a refund, and responded so unprofessionally to my email request for one. I will now be spending MORE money to get it touched up somewhere else. Save your money, don’t go here for tattoos.

I got my cartilage and rook pierced at planet silver from Matthew. He was amazing and knew exactly what he was doing. My piercing got infected and I went back and Matthew helped me to fix it.
