This was my first time visiting Flesh Tattoos, my daughter was getting a piercing. I was extremely impressed by the level of professionalism by the entire staff! I was very weary about the entire cleanliness factor (especially during COVID-19), however all measures were in place to ensure our safety. Nicky explained the procedure thoroughly, and was very quick and efficient preforming the piercing! My daughter barely felt any pain! All products used were individually packing and maintained a high level of good hygiene! We will definitely be back!!

I met Ariana and Joey back in 2016 - Ariana designed an orchid piece with my 2nd daughter's name to add to an existing tattoo of my 1st daughter's name. Joey ended up doing up the tattoo. Trying to get a tattoo during a pandemic is no easy feat but the staff at Flesh made all the necessary steps to make you feel safe and comfortable. When everything shutdown and I couldn't get my tattoo the staff were quick to reassure that my deposit was secure and I would have the next date available when the lockdown was lifted. During the lockdown Flesh came out with a cool line of clothing Flesh & co. I picked up a couple of tee's to support them while they were closed. I can't wait to get inked. I have a few more ideas already for the next one!

There are good tattoo artists, and there are exceptionally great tattoo artists. Matt is the latter. Matt made the whole experience so smooth, and completely nailed a very complex tattoo that could have gone wrong in many ways. Matt spent two hours just planning it out and calling out design choices when they wouldn't fit. I could not ask for a more honest person! So much respect to her for this, when putting a permanent piece of art on your body you want to work with an artist whom is invested in your piece and she did not hesitate to let me know that she prefers to steer clear of tribal. I reached out to Joey and after a few exchanged messages I was able to get in for a consultation the end of that week. When I went in I felt comfortable and at ease, Joey went over all of my questions and concerns, protocols, style, placement, what to expect and he was able to book me in for the middle of May. Unfortunately due to covid closures my appointment needed to be rescheduled, I should also mention that all covid measures were taken appropriately within the shop by staff and customers. I was able to rebook for early September and I must say I WAS SO NERVOUS lol, After all it had been 20yrs since my previous tattoo. Joey was AMAZING!!! He talked me through the entire process, he was so personable and kind. I was quoted 4-6hrs for my piece and I was committed to finishing it in 1 sitting. Unfortunately about 3.5hrs in I was definitely fading. I did not remember just how much this process hurt????At this point Sam was a doll and grabbed me a pack of peanut m&ms from the store(I definitely needed the sugar boost), It was such a kind gesture and I really appreciated it. Joey then recommended we postpone finishing that day and booked me in 4 weeks later...Back in for my 2nd sitting, I healed up very nicely from the first part but I was even more scared as I have realized I'm a wimp lmao. Everything went smoothly, great conversation with Joey and Matt. It took approx 2hrs to complete and I AM SO HAPPY with how it turned out. I truly cannot say anything negative about my experience with Flesh. I will definitely be a returning customer(if I can build up the courage to do it again LOL), and I will highly recommend them to family and friends. If I could give them 10 stars I would! Thank you Joey????

Went to this shop after another piercing shop had made a series of errors (putting it mildly) that led to a massive infection in my daughter's ear. Her ear became so swollen that the backing was swallowed up inside her lobe. After prescribing antibiotics, our doctor advised us to go to the ER to have the earring removed. Luckily we stopped in at Flesh Tattoo first and met Nick and the rest of the compassionate and knowledgeable staff. Nick was able to get the earring removed and was even able to salvage the piercing with some creative thinking. My daughter was in a lot of pain and everyone was extremely sensitive and encouraging. It has now been four days, the swelling has gone down and she is no longer in pain. I cannot thank these guys enough. I would highly recommend this shop, they are knowledgeable, professional and saved us a trip to the ER! You will be in good hands here.

I’ve been to a couple other tattoo shops to have work done. I’ve been looking for a really good tattoo shop to have my latest piece done, as it was a bigger piece I wanted somewhere where I felt comfortable. I came across flesh tattoos and decided to go in for a consultation. I met with Lola tatts and instantly I felt that good vibe from her. She was very thorough in explaining the process and was very honest about what would work and why it wouldn’t work the way I wanted it and to me that spoke volumes. I’m happy she was honest with me because this is something that will be on your body permanently and you don’t want to do something the way you’re thinking when there could be many reasons why it wouldn’t work. She was very professional and I trusted her opinion. On the day of my appointment I felt very relaxed and throughout the whole process she made sure that I was comfortable and not in any discomfort and if I was she would make sure to stop and give me that break I needed. I’d definitely recommend flesh tattoos to anyone weather it’s your first time or your 10th. The tattoo artists are very artistic, talented, understanding and patient. I will definitely be going here for the rest of my tattoo work.

Who knew a tattoo could change your life?... I reached out to Ariana last year at a time when I was very low,upset and confused as to why bad things happen to good people. My husband and I had been together for a while and we decided to try for a baby, we wanted more than anything to start our own little family unfortunately I had a very serious and traumatic miscarriage that tore me apart. Everyone told me to join groups, talk it out, this that and the other thing but it wasn’t enough for me. I’d like to think I’m a pretty self aware person and I am not afraid to ask for help but I wanted to honour what happened in a way that was permanent and a reminder, that way I never forget what we went through and I never forget our first little babe. Ariana, was so thoughtful, professional and so empathetic to what was going on in my life and it made my experience so much better. I have other tattoos and they all have meaning to me but this one from flesh just meant a little more! Fast forward a year later I got pregnant with a little heart warrior, my beautiful baby girl has a congenital heart defect and other complications that have required many procedures, two open heart surgeries and more to come. I went to none other than the very talented Ariana who designed the most beautiful tattoo I could have ever imagined. It was the most amazing way to honour my baby who’s going through so much. I can’t do much to help my daughter, all I’ve been able to do is sit bed side for the last two months at sick kids and advocate for her. But getting this tattoo meant the world to me and even in the lowest of moments, in times when I don’t think I’ll ever get to bring my daughter back home I look down and see my tattoo it makes me so happy, gives me so much hope. So yeah I really think a tattoo can change your life, art matters in every shape and form. I highly recommend looking into getting all your tattoos done here, everyone is amazingly talented, honest and just really down to earth. When you walk in you feel such good vibes, they are so clean and professional and they just make great art. Ariana has done 3 of my tattoos and I will never go anywhere else again. Contest or not I’ve already been thinking of getting another tattoo. Contest or not I will always recommend this tattoo shop! Always!

I’ve had a tattoo done a year ago by lolatats and she’s is wonderful it was my first tattoo and she talked me though everything, let me take breaks when needed. She also gave me a paper towel soaked in a cleaning solution for my tattoo and a packet of after care cream to use. I also have gotten pierced by Cris when they reopened and she was very sweet I had a bad reaction to getting two piercings and almost fainted they offered me candy and a power aid and let me sit there until I was okay to leave! Over all the staff are amazing and do spectacular work!

I had the pleasure of sitting with Matt this week to do a tattoo of my sons name - in my Mom's handwriting. This tattoo was extremely sentimental and also required a great eye in placement of the tattoo as this would be my first tattoo which would be visible majority of the time. Although I could not place the tattoo exactly where I had envisioned Matt ensured me that we could try different placements to make sure we got it right. Joey and Ariana are an amazing team . They are so down to earth people that they make you feel comfortable being in their company. I brought my son with me for the valentines promo because he drew me a sword and signed it and asked if I would get it tattooed on me one day and Joey did the honours of re-creating it on my arm while Zach watched him, but not only did they make me so happy they boosted my kids Ego so hi with compliments on his art work that he left the shop so proud and honoured it was the best Valentines day ever for me brought tears of Joy listening to him about how kewl they were and how proud he was . Had an amazing experience with Matt! From start to finish, I was aware of everything, he walked me through every step, described each item in his work space and I was very amazed by the cleanliness. All of the equipment is taken out of packaging right infront and he is vary transparent about what and why he's using each tool. One thing for sure is that he makes sure that you love your design 1000% before he starts any ink work and I highly value that. Throughout my ink session, he made me feel very comfortable and made me feel like I was more than just a client. Don't worry about aftercare, it is very well explained before you leave. I definitely will be returning!

Amazing friendly shop, i have recently been tattooed and pierced here. They always show you that they're using new sterile equipment. The place was very clean and spotless. They're very professional and are never condescending having to reapply your stencil 1 or 10 times to make sure it is on properly and centered. Always super responsive. I have been to a lot of different tattoo places and none compare to Flesh Tattoos. Planning a lot more tattoos here in the future!

Worst customer service. I heard good things about this place. My sister and my friend have gone there before. I called and spoke to Matthew. I shared with him what I wanted to get done and he gave me a price. I realized that my sisters tattoo is much bigger than what I request and she paid a lot less. So I told him my sisters experience and he seemed frustrated that I mentioned my sister paid a lot less for a bigger tattoo. He then told me to txt or call him if I’m interested. The morning after, I texted him and no answer for 4 days. I decided to call his cell phone and no answer. I immediately called the shop and no answer. I feel he was purposely ignoring me. I'm confused. Does he want business??? I’m so sorry that I had to right this review for this one employee that made the shop seem so unprofessional.

My experience with Mad Matt was absolutely outstanding! He was extremely nice right off the bat, extremely professional, and such an amazing tattoo artist! The professionalism that he had about my tattoos and the detail he explained on why he wanted to have it a certain way was incredible, he was so focused on making the perfect tattoo that would last for a lifetime and I have so much respect for that. He took his time and was always making sure that I was comfortable and happy with the designs. My experience at this shop was one of the best I've ever had.
