Got my 5 year old ear pierced. The diamond style crystal in the stud fell down on its own after 30 days. It fell down from both stud in a gap of 3 days. Also she developed lot of infection around her ears. There was mucus and blood all around within few days. We contacted claire and they said its 30 days past and they cannot do anything. Very disappointed. Not worth the money and services. I will not recommend Claire for either ear piercing or for buying any stud. Not good quality and they don't stand for the product they sell. Look for some other better place.

I would not recommend getting a piercing done at Claire’s. I had gotten my second piercing done at Claire’s at the Bramalea City Centre mall. The employee who had done my both second piercings, I told her that I have thick ears. She didn’t even tell me that the long post earrings were the best option for me since I have thick ears. After a week I had gotten my piercings done, I noticed my ears swelling and both of them were inside my ears!!! The length of it was so short that the whole thing went inside my ears and I have to go to the hospital to dig a hole in my ears and get it out!!! I’m not happy about it at all!

More than 5 years I've been very cautious for not getting pierced my daughter's ears. I believed it's not cute but cruel to pierce a 2, 3, or 4 year child. I know my wife was against me but I couldn't. Today my daughter is almost 6 years old and she started saying everyone in her school has ear pierced except her. So I called in my family doctor today and asked her if she knows a better and safe place for ear piercing, because I didn't trusted salons, jewelry stores, or piercing & tattoo stores, and answer was in negative. So I called Brampton hospital and they directed me to Peel memorial centre where someone from there advised me to visit my local Clare's store i.e. Bramalea City Centre and said is the safest place for ear piercing. So my wife and I with my daughter went there and we met a young lady named Janie who was super helpful and informative, answering all my health, hygiene, and air-born disease concerns. Janie was extremely friendly and my wife and I were highly impressed about how she was taking her time and energy in continuously explaining us the process of ear piercing, pre and post care, calming my daughter who was excited but frightened, giving candies to her and my other child. Janie demonstrated us how new, packed, sanitized, and clean were the ear studs, and showed us how clean the entire place was, and she wore new rubber gloves before piercing. And this is when Janie and other person pierced my daughter's both ears simultaneously. She cried a little but was okay and started looking studs in her ears in the mirror. We thanks Janie so much for giving us best customer service ever. It's been over a month now and I'm editing my comments to tell others that my daughter never got her ears infected, swollen, or pain as my wife continuously cleansed her ears thrice a day with the same solution came free with ear piercing..

I got my ears periced here and everything was fine. They gave me the ear care set and after some time my ears were healed asap. They also have a really good buy 3 get 3 free sale which is really awesome. Would go again :)

We went for our daughter’s ear piercing. It was super busy; though we got work done at the appointment slot, but the questions/concerns we had were answered in a rush. Few days later our daughter took out her earrings in sleep and they Claire’s gladly inserted the earring back. It wasn’t super busy early morning so it was all good!

I went there today to get piercing. After signing the form I waited for 30 mins. The girl who was doing piercing was so rude and doesn't have any manners to treat. When I complained about her behaviour she said she cannot do it today as she is tired. I won't go there again

Even though the staff members are extremely nice I would NEVER recommend ANYONE to get go here for their ear piercing. Any Claire’s actually, please go to an actual piercing shop. I decided to try Claire’s out and get my ears pierced. Two weeks in it was infected they tried to tell me how I was allergic to the earrings. That’s a lie because I’ve never been allergic to any earrings when I wear it on my first hole and I’ve gotten many piercings from actually piercing store and absolutely no infection. I got my cartilage done the day after I got my ears pierced at Claire’s and absolutely no infection but my ears got infected? Cartilage are the most common piercings to get infected but my cartilage is healing just fine plus it has the same material that Claire’s used on my ears. Please don’t go to Claire’s to get any piercings! You will waste your money like I did. Now I just have to wait until my ears heal so that I can get them redone at an actual piercing store.

Ear piercing: Staff is not experienced especially for toddlers. My little one’s ear ring came out within couple of month. Found that back screw fitting was not there. That means they didn’t put it nicely. Have to purchase parts and requested them to fit ear ring again. They said I have to buy full set of ear rings then they will do it for my baby. What !!! I will never ever go it again. Waste of money and time and getting job done with rude and unprofessional staff.

Went yesterday to get a 2nd piercing done. Took my young daughter as well for her first time. Anna was amazing, she only took on what she was able to handle. She explained everything thoroughly. She checked and double checked with me to make sure mine and my daughter's ears were even. She waited until her coworker was in so that they could tag team it for my young daughter as well which made it far less traumatizing for all of us. I highly recommend Anna and Claire's Cambridge for ear piercing. Grateful to have people out there who still care about you and have other's best interest in mind.

Extremely over priced. My daughter had a gift card and wanted to buy a beenie boo, they are $12.50 here, three other stores in the same mall sold the exact same one for $6.99. If it wasn't for the gift card I never would have paid they prices. If you are going to buy anything here, do yourself a favour and shop around for prices first.

I recently went to Claire’s to get myself some earrings with close sphere balls so I am able to comfortably sleep without getting poked by the earring in the back of my ear. The associates at Claire’s helped me find the right gauge for my second ear piercings and I was able to find a metal that will not irritate my ears.

We had worst experience today with a lady who does ear piercing. She is dishonest, indicipline and mannerless. We were waiting for long time and was next in the queue for ear piercing for our 8 months old baby while she was piercing to a girl. When we got our turn, she made sure that we finalized the earrings and she said she will be back in a min after processing the payment for previous customer. In another few mins, she came back with another two customers who were around 30s and just entered the shop and told us that we need to wait till she finishes the ear piercing for them. When I was asking her how could she do this and skip the queue, she simply lied to us saying she doesn't know why we are waiting here. She also lied again saying those customer were here earlier and came back now...etc. She is an absolute as**hole and deserved any such a word. Didn't even show courtesy for 8 months old baby and made us wait for 2 hours almost. We also told her that we need to feed the baby and would like get the ear piercing done asap so we can feed right after that. She showed no courtesy or sympathy. It was rediculous. She could be a racist and not deserved to live in this country.

Yesterday we were there with our little one for ear piercing, store was super busy and short staff as well. They gave us appointment for 3:30 but I personally think appointment means nothing to them. we have to keep reminding them that we are waiting. It took us one hour extra for 5 minute job. Most of the peoples were waiting for piercing or related queries and I'm sure you guys can manage it with helpful hands. Piercing job was satisfied and so far our little angel has no pain and enjoying her new ear rings.

Seemed really cluttered when Pokemon go was happening! I couldn't shift around in the store peacefully!! Great items as usual tho! Layout must improve!

Neat and clean little store. I had two of my daughters ears pierced at this store. The girls who worked there 5 years back were very friendly. The recent piercing of my 5 year old also went well. I picked the cheapest option which was $30. Either way I will be switching to pretty earrings at home in a short time. I am a huge fan of tea tree oil because of its fast healing and prevention of infection. It works well for freshly pierced ears as well. I just wish V was less pushy about more expensive options. While it’s the job of a salesperson to encourage customers for sales that will bring more monetary gain, being clever about it can have a negative long term effect. General people might not be aware of different strategies out there but they can sense it. Be caring and genuine, you will leave a great impression which will reflect in more sales both short and long term.
