Booked an appointment for a tattoo with Brian at the expo, he leaves us standing and waiting for an hour then tells us he doesn't have time. We are from out of town so now we are out gas money, the cost of entry to the expo, our time and no tattoo. Very unprofessional. We are very unhappy. Between the two of us we have several very large pieces planned. You just threw away a LOT of work.

I went in to get a tattoo consult today. I am looking for an artist that will work WITH me to produce a tattoo that I like. The receptionist informed me that none of the artists have ANY preferences as to style, nor do they have any input on what the tattoo is. "just bring in a google image of what you want, and they will do that." She then told me that the artist will do a drawing, and there will be no re-designs. I refuse to use a tattoo artist that will take my deposit, and not make the tattoo something I want. I have heard good things about ROP, but nothing in the front of that shop has shown me that they are worth while.

The shop atmosphere is great friendly staff but not very nice receptionist. I was accommodated and taken cared for the drop in however, the receptionist gives me unsettling vibes because of her deconsending tone of voice and how she questioned bluntly about my tattoo design when I presented it to her. I felt brushed off being rushed in a hurry. I was given suspicious looks even I am being nice and kept being assumed over. The receptionist is accommodating and helpful but also likes to make premature judgements on new customers.

Ive had 3 pieces done by Bryan and totally satisfied with the excellent work all their artists do excellent work and you cant go wrong by picking any of them.They are friendly and make you feel comfortable and would recommend them for any of your tattoo needs from cover ups to new tattoos will definitely be going back for my next one or two maybe three

After performing some due diligence for where to get my first tattoo I chose Rites of Passage and they did not disappoint. The receptionist was tremendously helpful in selecting and consulting with an artist and Jose was a pro - I adore the two tribal tattoos he created for me. Not only is he a very talented artist but he gave me great aftercare advice and I didn't experience any post-session healing issues. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly, and their artists are tremendously skilled - thanks Rites of Passage!

The store manager guided me into selecting the best artist for the type of work I was looking for. Turned out to be a perfect match, Ellise does some of the best work I have seen! She needs to be happy with her work which is what you should be looking for when selecting an artist! This place is perfectly balanced between casual and professional! I have had 2 pieces of work done at this shop. Cover up of my entire calf, and a total shoulder piece. 1. They are a clean shop 2. Process was easy and explained clearly to what I would need to expect. 3. The staff from the front end to the artists are friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. 4. This shop has years of experience in the tattoo industry. They have the catalogs of work to back them. The artists know their stuff. This made me feel safe and confident in my choice. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with these talented artists.

On the day of my sitting Graeme was clean, efficient, professional and obviously did a truly fantastic job of the tattoo itself. This was my first tattoo and it was a completely positive experience. He really took my concept and articulated it beautifully. He took time in the consult to help me understand how he could make the concept look great and what would work well (understanding that ink in your skin behaves differently over time and that a great tattoo needs to look great in 20 years too). The vibe in the shop was very chill, helpful and the solid music selections were an added bonus. Thank you Graeme. This tattoo means a lot to me. I know that Lonnie would be proud.

Im posting this from my anon account because i dont want to be spoken to further about my situation, but every single person i know has been dissapointed and unimpressed with Bryan's work. He is inappropriate, cocky, and overall every piece from him seems very amateur at least that I've seen. My tattoo from him needs to be completely redone, as i am embarrassed when people look at it too closely because the lines, placement and proportions are completely off. Either more practice, or a new career path might be the best bet, because i am not the only one who has to live with a subpar tattoo for the rest of my life. Bad bad bad. I trusted this place for the reviews. Extremely dissapointed. I would not be as heated if it werent for the childish behaviour on top of it all. The receptionist was very kind though:)

The spaces and the shop itself are clean and look awesome. Cant speak for all the artist, but if they're anything like Elise I would 100% recommend them all! She explained each aspect, was friendly throughout the tattoo, and made me excited for more. 10 out of 10 experience from both the shop and staff.
