I had a good experience here. Not a major piece of work but was super happy with the results regardless. I was indecisive on placement and Amanda spent forever working with me to find the right spot and didn't at all make me feel pressured or rushed. I can be a little OCD and she handled it really well. I would recommend going to unique for sure... And just as important their front desk guy was super nice!!! I've been to other locations in Barrie where they act very condescending, not at all here.

Have never had nothing but a great experience! The entire staff is professional and amazing at what they do. The atmosphere is very clean and the mural on the wall is killer. One of the best shops I've been in in all aspects. Kristina did the fresh flowers on the wrist and hands on the inner arm pictured below. You will not regret getting some art here!

I took a chance on an apprentice and glad I did. He was very friendly and eager for a challenge! I was very comfortable during my experience there and most importantly the end result was great! That was the second tattoo I have gotten from Unique Ink and I'd def recommend this establishment.

My friend whom wanted another tattoo had driven from Owen Sound to get a tattoo at another establishment and after confirming that they would have an open space she was turned away once arriving. Unique Ink Custom Tattoo already had clients in shop and were nice enough to fit us in. The atmosphere in the shop is very friendly and sanitary. The artists were nice and accommodating. The tattoo itself was very simple due to my friends choice and the tattoo artist did an excellent job. I normally do not post ratings but just incase she doesn't the shop needs to be given the good credit it deserves. Thank you for such good service all the way around.

Sad to see someone like Lenore Walliams would write a disgusting opinion of this shop first off this is a fully legitimate shop run by guys with families so to call them racist is pathetic. Do your research before throwing disgusting slander at a business, to call the staff aggressive is funny when your throwing slanderous comments when everyone who comes to this shop is treated with respect, just sad that this is the kind of thing that gets written on reviews by ignorant uneducated people with to much time on their hands.

The staff here is amazing . They welcomed me into the shop and are so nice to talk to while they give you a good quality, well priced tattoo. You can tell these amazing artists love their jobs and are passionate about their work. I went down the street before I came here and was very happy to actually be treated like a grown adult here at unique ink instead of my ideas being bashed like at the other shop.

My daughter dragged me in to get a paw print for a dog rescue fundraiser. Andrew was awesome. I have a condition that causes my body to twitch. I prewarned Andrew and it turned out great. He did a fairly large coverup on my daughter. The initial tattoo artist caused scarring and Andrew did a great job of hiding that also. We wont go anywhere else B-)

I absolutely love using this shop. I have gotten all, but one tattoos done here. The staff have always been comical, and their artwork is wonderful. Definitely the first shop I think of to recommend.

Owners and staff are amazing. Except one artist named Jon that I had a recent experience with. Does good work but will hustle you. Was quoted $450 for a piece to be completed, took longer then expected so was told I had to pay 600$ for it instead. Wasn’t very happy with that because I paid for the piece, not by the hour, and if there was a chance it would have taken longer and the cost would go up then I should have been informed of that prior to starting and I would have said no to having it completed. When I went in for my Final appointment and talked to him about my concerns he was very stern “said that he was trying to be professional so he didn’t sound like an asshole” and advised me that if he had of charged by the hour then it would have cost me a lot more and that he’s already put in double the hours he initially thought so he should get paid for it. So I advised him he should have taken that into consideration when quoting me a price for the piece. If I was told a price for the whole piece, I expect to pay that price regardless if it takes 1 hour or 10 hours. If the tattoo only takes an hour to finish he wouldn’t let me pay less for it, so why am I getting charged more because it’s taking a little longer? Otherwise he should have just charged me by the hour. So now I have paid 500$ Which is more then what I was originally quoted at and have an unfinished piece because he refused to finish it unless I paid the extra money. Definitely not a good experience and will definitely not return to them.

Can Review

I don't know where that good review came from... Went in for a cover up. Charged $200 more then quoted. Have since had their terrible cover up - covered up! They charge tax on the cash which makes sense - however when asked to be given a receipt they refused. They just charge the tax and pocket the extra money. SCAMMERS! DO NOT go there if you want quality and friendly staff. Terrible Service!

The best and cleanest tattoo place i have ever seen.. The front staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. I'm a 50 year old women and I walked in there a little nervous and I was made to feel very comfortable by ALL the staff. Rich was kind and gentle. He did a fabulous job on my tat.
