Called today on a whim to get my nose pierced and was able to get in the same day to see Nic. Very pleasant person on the phone and very helpful. Nic was amazing! He was very thorough, thoughtful and honest with his opinion on what jewelry would look best with my piercing. He explained everything and showed me that everything was sterile and talked me through the procedure (I greatly appreciated this since I’m a nurse and sterile technique is SO important). Originally went to see Vishal when my belly ring was acting up, he was super helpful and put a new bar in it and it hasn’t bothered me since. Today I went to Vishal to get my septum done, I was incredibly nervous as I had my septum done at another shop a few years prior and the experience was horrible, and the piercing had to be removed. Vishal knew I was nervous and explained the whole procedure to me and checked if my anatomy was right for the piercing. I have never seen a piercer pay so much attention to not only the client but also to cleanliness and sanitization. He made sure I was comfortable and the whole appointment was a breeze. Easiest piercing I’ve ever had done. I will only go to Vishal for any future piercings.

i went here with my friend, her mom and her brother yesterday to get her ears pierced i was so exited to go inside but then they said only 2 people allowed so me and her brother waited outside in their courtyard half an our later a lady came outside to come check up on us which i thought was very thoughtful about 20 minutes later a man who works there came outside and talked to us for 5-10 minutes he was super kind 30 minutes later they were done and they looked SUPER pretty thank you to the staff who were so kind! i totally recommend this place to you!

Went in as a walk-in with my sister in law and niece to get matching nose piercings. Vishal helped them out that day. They both got their matching piercings after a long wait (more than 1 hour), but shortly after, the piercings had to come off due to becoming uncomfortable with the placement. Overall, great feel of the place in an old church building. Unique and quaint. However, would not recommend due to unavailability of artists during normal business hours and extensive wait times.

My partner got their nose pierced 3 weeks ago, and today both of us went back for our ears. So they're open against covid rules, they have such a thorough protocol I was not concerned whatsoever. Jeff did the piercing. The process is incredibly hygienic. I've been pierced a few times and nowhere else has ever been so in-depth with hygiene. Jeff checked and re-checked for symmetry, and then had the client approve the maker spot before the needle came anywhere near. I was/am so pleased with this whole process that I will be going back. More piercings and also tattoos.

Pushing Inc and Jamie is the BEST. I shopped around and my number one criteria is safety and cleanliness AND the details to any work. Jamie and Puching Inc did not disappoint. My husband and I have a matching tattoo then I went back to Jamie to get another one right on my forearm. I had no clue what I wanted, but I knew it has to be elegant and tasteful. I had many, many pictures and I feared that Jamie will not get what I am trying to explain and convert. Well, he surprised me the best possible way. He created such an Art that I am getting compliment on it daily. My son went to Jamie for his tattoo as well. Then I thought I need a logo for my business. Who's best to draw something who gets me and can figure it out from 15 pictures and put them all together into one amazing art. I got my logo from Jamie and I will have that tattooed on me soon. I got my belly button done by Jeff. He was okay at doing the procedure and the service. But the healing process was the issue. I was told to go home with some saline solution to use everyday to keep it clean. I did for 6 months using a Qtip and the saline solution. However, I didn't know until 6 months later by a different piercing place that I wasn't supposed to use Qtips to clean it. Pushing ink told me to use Qtips and it has made the healing process a mess. I also found out that the "titanium" jewelry they gave me wasn't actually titanium because the healing process has consisted of cleaning junk out of the piercing. Which, I may add, I didn't know until 6 months later that this wasn't normal. Apparently places that sell titanium jewelry display a code that says the type of titanium it is as evidence it's real. I wasn't shown a code at Pushing Ink. I am incredibly upset and disappointed in this place because of this situation. I spent $200 for nothing. I now have to wait 3 months for my piercing to heal so I can get it repierced. I would NOT recommend going here unless you want to waste your money. I provided images of the day I got it done in March, and how it looks now.

I am turning 50 at the end of the month and I decided to get a helix piercing. My husband went with me as I had not had a piercing since I was seven. We were greeted by an awesome man named Vishal. Vishal spent so much time with us explaining the jewelry that they use which is the highest grade possible by the way and continued to make me so comfortable with what he was about to put into my ear. Vishal is probably one of the most upbeat fun guys ever. When he was doing the piercing he explained every step he was about to take before he did it again putting me right at ease. I have heard that a helix piercing is one of the most painful of piercing but actually it wasn't that painful at all and I believe that is due to Vishal's experience and approach. After my piercing was completed Vishal went through the cleaning and maintenance process thoroughly and answered any questions I had. I did not feel rushed at all during any point of my experience. All in all, I would TOTALLY recommend Vishal at Pushing Inc. for your next and every piercing. He would be PERFECT for your child's first piercing as well. He is a lot of fun while making sure he does his job wonderfully! GREAT JOB VISHAL!!

Can't say enough good things about Vishal for piercings at Pushing Inc! I saw him a few months ago to get my ears pierced for the second time and I was very happy with his professionalism. He made the entire experience very personal, professional and fun! He went from having a very busy and cluttered piece to a piece of art and made my husband feel completely at ease for his first tattoo and even tattooed it right on the spot with no appointment. Jason took a picture that I took in of my dads old horse I wanted just the head and he designed a tattoo for me as a memorial piece. Then booked me in for yesterday. I look at the piece and it brings tears to my eyes now. Tears of joy!!!! It makes an amazing and awesome memorial tattoo for my dad. He brought it to life!!!! He also fixed up and added onto an old tattoo from 20 years ago which has never looked so good. All of them in this shop are awesome and very friendly. I went for 3 consults at other studios and didn't feel the connection till I went to this one....will definitely be back for more works of art! This will be my only tattoo and piercing place ever again!!!

Sin D is amazing! I got my first tattoo a year and a half ago and fell in love with her details and watercolours. I was planning on doing another one in the summer but unfortunately my sweet dog passed away suddenly. We discussed doing a portrait to memorialize him and I couldn’t be happier. She captured every detail in my boys face. The colouring and shading is bang on. I feel blessed to have him with me forever now. It has helped my healing. She is my artist now. I can’t wait for the next one.

I had a new tattoo done last week with Jason. He did an amazing job at capturing my vision and creating the design. He was very helpful when it came to the layout and sizing of the piece. Jason exceeded my expectations when he was complete. I also dealt with the owner Jamie who was a very genuine guy. Their location was very very clean. I would say their cleanliness is number one for any place I have been to. On top of their diligent cleanliness they are very strict on their covid measures which makes everything more comforting for all. This is the best place around and definitely number one in Barrie. I will be going back again soon for my next piece. Thank you Jason & Jamie!

i went in today and got my nose pierced by jeff, he did an amazing job!. super clean and very professional but fun. i have my other nostril pierced and he really spent the time measuring my nose to line it up perfectly with my existing piercing, which i superr appreciated! he really knew his stuff and made the process very relaxing. ive wanted this piercing forever, im sooo happy i came here to get it, covid protocols are thorough and very safe aswell . i called ahead and had no prob getting in the same afternoon =) xx thanks again jeff!!

Pushing Inc. Tattoo Emporium is extremely clean, professionally run and is staffed with great artists. First, I did my homework and research as I wanted to be able to describe and make sense out of my idea for my first tattoo. I wanted a 3-dimemsional - realism half sleeve tattoo with some colour. I made some notes as to what else I wanted included along with the type of font for the lettering. Next, I checked out as many tattoo artists that I could find and especially, if there were portfolios of their work. This process led me right to Jamie Russo. I expected that I would have to go on some sort of waiting list but was surprised to get an appointment about a month away. A lot of time was saved going back and forth with e-mails and getting the concept hammered out. The final consultation was done the day of the first appointment and Jamie came up with the final product and the second sitting a month after that completed a beautiful finished product. During the course of my time at Pushing Inc., I met with some of the staff who were all great from the time I entered until when I left. I highly recommend Pushing Inc. as a tattoo studio and Jamie Russo as an artist. Jamie delivered a tattoo that was an idea that I had thought about since July 1969 but was never able to find the right tattoo studio or the right artist. Thanks again Jamie. Bob

I felt completely comfortable from when I first walked in. The studio is bright and open and everybody is patient, friendly, and supportive. This was my first tattoo and I had everything explained to me in detail to make sure I understood the process. Working with Rich was great and he did an amazing job! Additional shoutout to the staff and clients who came to check on me because my pain tolerance is noticeably low. I don't think it's supposed to be such a team effort, but I appreciate it so much.

Vishal did an absolutely wonderful job on my industrial. Not only did the end result look amazing and completely compliment my look, but he helped me set up a plan, ensured I wasn't feeling nauseous, and even helped me create a full look for both my ears. You don't just pay for the jewelry and piercing, you pay for the service and care these people give you. I felt like a part of a family, and still do any time I go in for a check up. The workers had a perfect balance of professional, informative and playful while also making you feel at ease, especially for someone who gets very sick/dizzy at the thought of needles!
