The best tattoo shop you are going to find in Montreal. This shop is authentic with an old school feel. The service is top notch and the art is incredible. If you are looking for a shop that lets you pic from generic art from a book this isn’t the place for a great you. If you are looking for something original and one of a kind, this is your place. Also, very VERY gay friendly. I recommend Alex K’eh, best artist there.

WOW! What an experience!!! I first went in a week ago just to enquire and check out the place. Was greeted by Karl and AJ and discussed what I wanted, they were extremely helpful and suggested that I come in on the Sunday as they could further consult with me and do the tattoo the same day, as it was not a big job. So I showed up, a little nervous with what I was going to have done, it was my first tattoo. Karl understood right away what I was looking for and came up with a beautiful font for my one liner sentence. He took his time to ensure every letter was perfect and that I was 100% happy. During the actual inking he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. We laughed and joked alot. Honestly, Karl - THANK YOU for making my first experience a memorable one. I have highly recommended you to everyone that pays a compliment to your work. I am super happy with the results! If you're not sure, nervous or just shopping around....stop in here and you wont regret it! Prices are very affordable too.

There are many fantastic tattoo shops in Montreal, but in my opinion, Saving Grace is the absolute best this city has to offer. This has been my shop for years now, and I've been tattooed by Val, Karl, Jason and Arno (who I'm about to see for my next piece). Each artist exhibited total professionalism throughout the process of tattooing me, and never once made me feel as though questions or concerns I had were unwarranted (and believe me, I ask a lot of questions). Alex K'eh—the owner—is a super friendly dude, and always goes out of his way to make clients feel relaxed and welcome. The atmosphere this shop has created is unbeatable, the service is excellent, and the tattoos are of the highest quality. I strongly recommend that if you're in the market for a new tattoo, you get it done at Saving Grace.

What a joke. Horrible service. Sent an email asking about a consultation because I am looking to get a full sleeve but am unsure of what can be done because it will be a cover up. I was originally told consults are free and was asked when I can show up. After telling Karl my availability and informing him that I am shopping around to find the right artist I was told he wasn't interested. He only gives consultations to people who want to get tattooed by him and to go see other artists until I exhaust all my options. First of all, I am pretty sure there are more artists in the shop than him. Plus last time I checked a consultation was for a client to decide if they want a vendors service. I am committed to the service I want. Just not sure on the vendor yet. For anyone considering SGT don't waste your time. There are a tonne of artists around who aren't above putting in the extra work to get a new client. Already met with a few who's work are more my style and whose attitudes are much better. Definitely dodged a bullet here.
