Want to give a HUGE thank you to Nate Coalman for absolutely killing it on my first tattoo! My parents were very skeptical of where I got my first tattoo as my mom is abit of a germaphobe LOL. We walked in and it is a very clean welcoming atmosphere. My mom was impressed with the place which rarely happens. I contacted Nate VIA instagram and sent him a rough idea of what I wanted. he drew up a sketch that I saw upon meeting him. Nate absolutely nailed exactly how I wanted my tattoo to look and his attention to fine details is very impressive. My tattoo is now all healed up and im so happy with it! I had no issues whatsoever during healing as they give very thorough instructions as how to care for your tattoo. I am confident in recommending Sink Or Swim to anyone who asks me where they should get a tattoo done and I will not hesitate to return once I decide upon what I want to get next. She took the time to discuss what would work for my daughter and explained the process, everything was clean and sterile and she put my daughter at ease. Her personality is fun and bubbly and she is very confident and knowledgeable with her craft. My daughter decided to do a conch piercing and Kali helped her pick out the jewelry and made the entire process pain free and quick. Went in the other day to get one of my nostrils re pierced by Kali and I have to say, this was probably the most casual/comfortable piercing session I've ever had! Didn't feel rushed & no weird sketchy shop vibes. I've had 22 piercings total and every kind of experience imaginable so trust me when I say this place is the real deal ???????? I've been looking forever for a good/reliable piercer in Toronto who knew their stuff, and a friend recommended me to Kali. The location is super clean, professional, and I felt really comfortable right away (I've been to other shops that were intimidating/hard to enter). I'm SUPER particular about piercing placement and all that, but Kali was so so patient with me, which I really appreciated. We spent a lot of time discussing the piercing options and she really took her time with me. Honestly 10/10 experience, I left super happy and I'll definitely be back for more.

The only tattoo i have that i regret is from him about a week ago i went in for a tattoo i specifically asked for a certain eye tattoo and instead of stencilling it he went ahead and free handed on my neck. now not only do i have to get laser removal on the tattoo, i have to live with the fact that theres gonna be a scar there forever because a tattoo artist decided to do his own thing on someone elses body.....and on top of that instead of him trying to help he blocks me off instagram like a kid

She was pretty anxious at first but she told me how amazing her artist Trish was at explaining how everything worked and what to expect. I took my 7 year old daughter here to have her earlobes pierced, and can't speak highly enough about the whole experience. Kali, who did the piercing, was both kind and reassuring. She spoke to my daughter in a totally kid-friendly way and made sure she was comfortable with everything. The earrings were purchased are super cute and perfect size for a small child. I went in for a tattoo a few months back, they had me booked with an artist I waited a few weeks to get in with, I go in and they double booked him and gave me to a female artist, I asked if she has been doing this for a long time later to find out once my tattoo was botched she was a tattoo apprentice, needless to say no refund was offered and I went else where to get a tattoo cover up Bc the work was so horribly botched! Would never recommend this place now that it’s under new ownership!

Over Priced... got a stick house that was a size of a dime with 8 friends and it took 1 and a half minutes to do and got charged $113... Really ridiculous and the guy named Luke did a terrible job made everyones look different and even free drew cause he didn't want to look for the original sketch... really disappointed and would never rccomned going to the guy named luke. Good for him for ripping off some guys but you will never get business from us again. I got a long tattoo on my forearm from Fat Cat by a guy named Matt Kim and he charged less than what I had to pay for this garbage. Seriously go to fat cat tattoo over sink or swim or atlas go to a different artist cause luke was garbage. Nice guy but didn't take his time and also ripped us all off completely.

Came here for pmu on my brows, huge mistake. They turned red and now look horrible. I have to get them redone but it won't be here. Made an appointment but stood around for almost 40 minutes waiting to be seen.

Loving the new owners of Sink Or Swim Tattoos!!!!! Very friendly! Popped in yesterday to make an appointment and Public Health was there doing their inspection as they just opened last week. Over hearing the new owners, I could tell right away that they were so knowledgeable. While chatting, it seems like they’re getting new artists and already have a piercer..... not to mention guest artists!

I got a tattoo orginally done when I was 23 yrs old. It was done at Phat Cat tattoos in Niagara. The lines were horrible, the halo was terrible and the word love was highlighted yellow for no reason. I was not happy with the result only paid portion of payment $80. I reused to pay the rest. So for 13 yrs I have been looking for an honest, straight forward tattoo artist with a gentle touch. All artists said that I had to cover up my memorial tattoo. I refuse to cover this tattoo up. I went to Sink or Swim Tattoos in Aurora under new amazing management of Debbie and Dom and new artist. They are such kind, caring and wonderful people. I felt I was at home right away. Debbie introduced me to an amazing artist and wonderful gentle man named Matthew. He made me feel so comfortable and so cared for right away. He took a look at my tattoo and said all we have to is resorect it and get rid of the yellow around the word love. I never had such a gentle touch on my body while getting at tattoo. He had to go threw scarred tissues and very very deep needle work and it still felt better then anything else. Matthew you are amazing artist and even more amazing man. Thank you so much! Thank you to my new and only tattoo and piercing family. I will only go and send my family and friends to your shop ever!! I love every single thing about this place. They let my children play pool, watch movies and gave them water to drink and candy to eat. They are truely family. Jessie, Matthew, Vishal Debbie and Dom and to the others I didn't get to really meat yet. You are amazing people and have great hearts. Only people like you can make something so personal and scary so relaxing, calm and fearless. I will be posting pics of a before and after. Labeling the before and after. I truely love my new tattoo I show it off even under the plastic bandage provided by Primal Adttiude. I wish you and your shop all of the success in the world. If you read this review I recommend you go in and talk with the management team and artists. There is no cleaner place with a better atmosphere then the new and improved Sink or Swim!
