In January, two friends and myself had brought our three, 15 year old daughters to get a piercing on their ears. The girls were very happy with their peircings but I found it odd that we parents were not talked to or asked to sign a waiver. The girls were never questioned about their ages, either. However, the thing that has upset me is that a month later, In February, my daughter confessed to my that she went to Pain and Pleasure, without me or my approval and got her belly button pierced. Since she is under 18 years of age, a piercing should not have been performed on her without parental concent! So a caution to parents of teanagers.

I love my tragus and cartilage piercing!! Tommy Mac is awesome. He's fast and really experienced. I had minimal pain during the piercings and even afterwards. All I can say is I highly recommend him. As well they had an awesome 3/$60. special so that was great. I'm going back to get my other cartilage done soon.

Today I went with my best friend for the first time, for their 3 for $60 deal. I got my Cartilage and tragus while my bestfriend got her belly. Tommy mac did both our piercings he is the main piercer there and he did a really good job. Her belly piercing wasnt too shallow and it wasnt too far apart it was just right. I thought the placement of my cartilage was really good as well. I would rate my piercings pain on a scale of 1-10 as 2 being the highest...it really wasnt painful because tommy mac also did them really REALLY quick. I didnt even feel my cartilage. Also as he did my piercings ear piercings free hand and my bestfriend with a clamp,he told us both to take a deep breath and then as we exhaled he put the needle through. The only con about this place is suprisingly that I wasnt given any aftercare instructions on how to care/clean for it from the actual piercer or what not to do etc. I HAD to ask for that info at the front desk where I was recommended to buy Bactine at shoppers drug mart..Personally I think this is a good place to get ear piercings,facial piercings etc but I wouldnt trust getting anything below the shoulders from this place. Also there is a 16 year old girl there named bianca who is interning I would advise everyone not to let her do any of your piercings because she doesnt have enough experience and a few of my friends who went there got their piercings botched. I HIGHLY recommend Tommy Mac, he is a chill guy, doesnt talk much but he knows his stuff and how to pierce quickly and accurately, has years of experience and from now on he is gonna be the only one that does my piercings when I go there

I had two piercings done here and they were done fairly well, the piercers were competent and friendly. The downside to this establishment is the owner/manager who, while when my friends and I first came in was friendly and funny, turned very sour and rude after one of my friends changed their mind about the tattoo they had planned on getting after hearing the estimate. His attitude towards us after this was sullen and bratty and reminded me of a five year old throwing a temper tantrum when they don't get something their parents promised them. His behaviour tarnished the whole experience and none of us will be returning to this establishment.

I recently visited Pleasure and Pain with my cousin, and we took advantage of the 2/$60 piercing deal (changes monthly). I got a helix piercing (upper lobe). Mac was amazing, his technique makes this experience quick, and almost pain-free. Would highly recommend this place, and would definitely go back!!!

DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE. I got my eyebrow pierced, and within two months it was rejecting horribly, and infected. The place I went to have it removed said that it had been pierced with cheap, low-quality jewellery with external threading which irritates the site. They had also given me incorrect care instructions which set me up for failure. The woman piercing me was very nice and gentle, being a former nurse, and that is the only reason this place is getting more than one star. Go somewhere else if you want a piercing. This place is not doing anyone any favours.

So, my sister and I walk into the store and everyone that works there is incredibly nice and “sounds knowledgable” - not the case that we learn later on. The first red flag is that this place was incredibly cheap. We were both super excited so it didn’t bother us because we had mostly only heard good things from this location. I was getting my second lobe piercings done and my sister got her helix. They pierced both of our ears with the wrong jewelry (helix and second lobe) with the same curved barbell jewelry. This was an issue with the healing process for the helix and her ear was practically infected for TWO WEEKS after she got it done (not normal) but happens with low quality jewelry. SUPER SUPER disappointed in this place. They could’ve botched my sisters helix piercing if she hadn’t changed the jewelry a month after she got it done. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION

I came in for the 3 piercings for $60 nearly a month ago, I got my second lobes and a helix (on my left year) by one of the piercers. I adored my piercings and thought they looked great! I followed the after care procedure and used the saline spray provided by the shop. However, I have developed piercing bumps on all three of them, alongside very tiny bumps below my helix and am fairly confused/lost on what to do. I did email the shop asking about what I can do but I am currently awaiting a response. Hoping to come in soon get the jewellery downsized as well (for my helix). Uploading pictures of my piercings and the bumps as well. Hope to update this review to higher once I resolve this! Update: the piercings improved after advice that was given to me by the piercers at this shop. Hence why I have changed my 3 star review to a 5 star review. They were very polite and gave great advice. I look forward to getting another piercing done here in the future!

It's my first time there and I wanted to get a double helix/cartilage done and this was the closest place. When I went it was around lunch time so I thought it wouldn't be busy but it was jam packed when I got up the stairs which was fine with me. The place strike me as kinda sketchy because it smelled like weed but the people were friendly. Price wise it was around $100 after tax. The lady pierced it like 4 times because my hair was in the way but not too bad. If i ever want another piercing id come back probably.

Had my tattoo touched up by Lance who was patient, kind and gentle. The studio was very clean and the girl behind the counter and the piercer were also very nice and helpful to us. My best friend got her navel pierced and she's extremely happy with the process and her piercing! Both Lance and the piercer were clear and helpful in telling us how to take care of our pieces. I went in for their piercing special, I was a little scared because I read some reviews that said they weren't that friendly. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went and I can happily say I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as I walked in everyone greeted me and it is truly a home kind of environment. Tommy Mac was at the front desk and he asked me what I wanted and everything like that and then handed me the waiver, as I am a minor my mom filled it out and signed and instantly Tommy took me into the room. He put a flash light behind my ear and checked for where my veins were. (I knew that meant he knew what he was doing) . He marked my ear and did my industrial then two cartilages, he taught me breathing techniques for piercings and it was honestly a great experience. I am definitely coming back for more piercings as he because he was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend!

I came here for the 2/60 piercing deal and i was pierced by Toolz. I got my septum and nose piercing done and was cleaning it with saline solution in order to prevent infection. My nose piercing was rejecting it and i tried to contact Toolz to ask for advice and she left me on READ. So there is absolutely no care for the clients after they pay which is so unhelpful, I ended up having to take out the piercing and I now have a bit of tissue scar where the piercing was!

Went in for the 2 for $60 piercing deal. Nothing wrong with reception, and the place was pretty clean. However, my piercer was very rude and unprofessional. she took no caution with my septum piercing and blamed me when she pierced it incorrectly (i realize it's a tricky piercing to do, i was fine with her re-piercing it, she just didn't have to blame me for her mistake) only to pierce it crooked.. my helix is a whole other story. Instead of piercing straight through the cartilage, she pierced at a downward angle AND PUT JEWELLRY FOR A ROOK IN IT. it looks terrible and is taking long to heal because the bar is so thick. I won't be back here and I don't recommend it

I got my septum and my rook pierced here and Tommy was super nice and i saw him open up a clean needle and everything was sterile. Overall it was a pretty good experience and it's my favorite tattoo/piercing place. I'd go back if I ever want another piercing.

Last Tuesday, coworkers and I went in around 1pm. All four of us were walk-ins and did not have to wait at all for two small tattoos and four piercings (three for a coworker, one for myself). I had my lower cartilage pierced by a male employee whose name I can’t recall unfortunately. He walked me through all the equipment he was using, showing how everything was sterilized and answered any questions I had along the way. He was thorough with describing the cleaning process and was patient when I was picking my placement, redrawing the location dot three times. It’s been just over a week and my piercing is healing very well. Overall, very satisfied with this experience and would recommend!

Terrible experience. I went to get my tattoo and belly button piercing. Coming in the whole shop smelled heavily of marijuana and the lady at the front was extremely rude. She did not even acknowledge us as customers and the person who did my tattoo messed up on the lettering. Never ever going back. Do not go back unless you want a mistake on your skin for the rest of your life!!!

Completely screwed up my piercing. how do you screw up a second piercing on the lobe, crooked with the wrong type of earring and it kept getting infected. Same on my tragus, what's worse is now I have to go back and trust that they will take it out properly, and hope for it to heal. BTW when I got it pierced I should have noticed the red flag, this inexperienced looking girl was doing it, didnt give proper information before piercing it. So unprofessional

If you wanna be treated like a number, come here. But as far as I’m concerned the one girl who does piercings here doesn’t seem to care about her clients. They seem more money driven than passion driven. They have a 3/60$ piercing special so the one time I came here they had back to back clients come in and out so fast. When it came down to my turn she was rude … and dismissed me by saying “next” just as she did to the last customer. She didn’t offer any advice on how to clean the piercing. When I asked her for a jewelry upgrade she said no. I find this place to be very unprofessional.

The guy who was doing my tattoo was high, and the tattoo I was getting was very simple, he managed to cut me over my tattoo, which started to bleed, and my tattoo colour faded and peeled off. I have gotten 2 other tattoos before and never had this experience with my other tattoos. Would not recommend this place.

I’m really disappointed in this place , despite great reviews my piercer didn’t explain any aftercare to me, and only partially explained after care to my friend after they repeatedly questioned him. After piercing myself and a friend of mine, we see him go out to his car to smoke. I don’t care what you do in your spare time man, but if the shop is open for another couple hours and your literal job is to strategically stab people with needles, then why are you getting high? Another friend of mine got a tattoo during the same visit, and the image was copy and pasted from Pinterest to ms paint, then onto my friends leg. What happened to artists who redraw other’s designs to upkeep artist integrity?

ABSOLUTE MESS!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Helix and second lobes pierced with curved barbell and now I have to take them all out. Nose stud fell out the first day and it was pierced in a bad spot even when I said i didn't like it they did it anyway. Didn't get to choose my jewelry or material, I wasn't even told what size my piercings were, and no aftercare instructions. Second lobes are uneven and will probably get infected. Helix is throbbing and extremely red. Reception was nice but wasn't wearing masks and I definitely got overcharged. Saline solution they gave me doesn't work. Piercer I don't even know her name but she wasn't wearing her mask correctly plus she did the piercings really rushed and aggressive (and no clamps used). My friend got a septum that is super crooked and she used a huge ring on her that looks awful. This place should be shut down.

I’m not one to usually write reviews, but: In October 2020, I went in for the 3/$60 deal with my friend. It was empty and the piercer was eating lunch, but proceeded to get me “ready” while she was still chewing. I got my forward helix pierced and then my tragus. She ended up dropping the ball-backing into my ear.. she tried using tong-like forceps (way too thick) to try and get the ball out. She had no idea what she was doing, if anything just making it worse, so I told her to stop and she said to go to a hospital because “it was in stage one.”??? I ended up going to a walk-in clinic near by instead because I refused to go to a hospital during a covid spike. Fast forward, it is now the end of February 2021 and my piercings are still infected as ever and I’m still regretting my decision of going here. TLDR: Everything was very rushed and unprofessional. I regret getting my piercings done here. I’m traumatized.

Lance did solid work on my tricep. I was waiting to post a review just so I could let the results soak in but overall I was very impressed with the work and how well the detailing held up. I've been coming to Pleasure and Pain for my tattoos exclusively for more than a year and what kept me coming back was the vibe of the place. The old place had a real identity, from the smell to the art on the walls. I think that's one of the things that disappointed me the most, was the fact that the boys are phenomenal artists and they aren't even allowed to display their work anymore. It also smells like apples in there, which is really strange. It doesn't smell like you're where you're supposed to be anymore, takes away from the charm of being there. Not to mention the bike. Why is it there? What's the point? Who put it up there? It's the only thing to look at in the store. Everything's white, you feel like you're at the dentist, not in a tattoo shop. Going to Pleasure and Pain to get a tattoo used to be this experience I would look forward to, I'd get to smell the store, rock out to some great music, get an amazing tattoo and go home, this time, it just kinda took the fun out of it. It just feels like Kelly's selling out, feels like he's going corporate or something and I absolutely hate corruption in people who you think would never give up something they believe in just to appeal to a different crowd and make a little extra cash. The tattoo crowd is the tattoo crowd and if someone wants a tattoo, they're not gonna care what the place looks like, they're just gonna go get 'er done. But for those of us who keep coming back for more, we'd like to feel at home and this new place, the somewhat rude new staff, I don't know, it doesn't feel like home anymore. Like I said, I've only ever gotten inked at Pleasure and Pain and Lance and Andy have both done many of my tattoos, and you kinda get to know people a little bit when they're working on your skin for several hours at a time and from what I know of those boys, they thrive in the old environment, they work best under the conditions that they get to listen to whatever music they want to and have something to look at other than the blinding whiteness in the store. Obviously the quality of their work hasn't diminished in the slightest and they're still pumping out better than amazing tattoos and there's still nobody else who I'd ever want to do my ink, I'm just saying that I miss the vibes of the old place. Just doesn't feel like a Third Place anymore.

Came here with my best friend for the piercing special. We were greeted by Kelly, who was our first point of contact at this studio. Kelly imidiately made us feel comfortable in the space and excited to get some new piercings. Nikky was the one who did our piercings. We were shown the sterile instruments and jewelry before getting started. She made us feel sooo comfortable and even made us laugh. Overall great experience. I've been to a few tattoo and piercing places in Mississauga and I quite enjoyed my experience at Pleasure and Pain Ink. The place is clean, I could smell the cleaner when I walked in, saw their certificates for cleanliness. super comforting. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable and right down my alley of humor. It didn't feel like a typical tattoo place. They were professional enough to make me feel confident in their work and fun enough to keep the atmosphere fun and entertaining. They took the time to help with placing, aftercare and one even helped my friend design one on the spot. I am usually weary about new places as I have been going to the same person for tattoos for years, but she has switched professions, but I must say I'm definitely coming back, probably sooner rather than later to add to a piece. You guys rock! P.S I love the feel of the rotary machine over the electromagnetic one!

Got a few things done here from tattoos to piercings. The tattoo artists (Andy and Lance) are both great artists , very nice, and have great style. Everything has healed fine and I've had no issue whats so ever. Even the friends I've brought her had stuff done and they can vouch for me when I say they've had no issues either. Best piercers I've ever had. They do them properly with as less pain as possible. I recommend Michelle Moo because she's more fluid with her actions making it less painful, but the guy artist is just as good. ???? And the 3 for 60$ piercings is a deal you can't beat

I was very much looking forward to traveling to Port Credit to go to pleasure and pain to get three piercings with my best friend. The 3 for $60 piercing deal is great, and you can’t get much better than that! However, you get what you pay for. The lady who pierced my friend and i (we didn’t even get her name because she didn’t introduce herself) was incredibly rude, unkind, uncaring of our nervousness, very much in a rush, impatient with the questions we were asking as we were quite nervous. We felt like we were inconveniencing her day by getting pierced by her. I believe they have a great business running but I think they just need to be more aware of the people they hire. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice, she made us feel welcome and comfortable. But the experienced was ruined by the piercer, it was a very traumatic experience and I think paying extra for a better experience might just be worth it

Shayne did 2 piercing for me. He was great. I would definitely recommend this place for piercings. I cannot comment on tattoo services as I do not have a tattoo. Shayne is very experienced in what he does and he is honest with his advise. Definitely a quality that I appreciate in a business person. Check them out. Their prices are also remarkable which is an added bonus. The only downfall is parking is not always readily available. If that is the only downfall then that is not too bad.

Despite the fact that I was super nervous to get my bellybutton pierced and even second guessed myself, I'm glad I went it and that Michelle is the one who helped me out. Pleasure and pain is now my go to studio for tattoos and piercings. I have gotten 3 tattoos at Pleasure and Pain as well as two piercings... I'm obsessed! I love this shop and the people in it! From the moment you walk in, Pete is there to greet you with smile ???? He's super nice! I've had two small script tattoos done by Daimu and he's very patient and makes you feel comfortable right off the bat. He listens to what you want and comes through. My last and largest tattoo at the shop was done a week ago with Lancelot. It was to cover a burn scar that I have on my right outer forearm. It was a great experience, he's a super chill fun guy. He is super friendly, he listened to what I wanted and drew it on the spot. It was perfect, it was actually better than I expected! He even went over ways that we can add to it later which made me really happy because we decide to omit a couple things in order to avoid overcrowding. The atmosphere at the shop is great too, all of the people that work there are like family to each other and they really enjoy/ love what they do and it shows. They keep the shop super clean and are very informative about aftercare for whatever you get done, be sure to listen carefully. I would highly recommend pleasure and pain for any pleasure or pain that you wish to experience. You'll have a great time and you won't be disappointed! Thanks guys, can't wait for the next one!

Horrible service! I went to get a septum piercing. Firstly the receptionist was very rude and wouldn't stop cussing. When it was my turn I heard the piercer and the receptionist talk about how they were short on septum jewelry, but I didn't say anything about that. Secondly he didn't clean the inside of my nose before abruptly piercing it, which led to it being completely crooked so he re-pierced it resulting in another crooked piercing. I was pretty anxious by then and I just wanted it correct, so he finally took out the instrument meant for the septum piercing and pierced it for the third time. Finally it was better. I don't understand why didn't he use it in the first place. The jewelry that he put inside was the one for the nostrils which he expanded. When I asked him that it doesn't have the tiny stopper ball in the end then he said 'well thats what you wanted and its suppose to be like that'. After a day I called them up because i wanted my jewelry changed because it kept coming out when I washed my face. They were extremely rude and said that this hasn't happened before so it isn't our fault and that i would have to pay extra. So yesterday i went to Malefic Tattoos and the piercer Brandy was so nice and told me that he shouldn't have pierced it 3 times in a row and that the jewelry he put inside it not even for the septum. He cleaned my nose repeatedly and took time even for just changing the jewelry.

Yesterday I went to get my ears pierced. I got my helix (left ear), Tragus (left ear)and daith (right ear)pierced. I didn’t think for a second that this suppose to be fun experience would take such a huge turn. Toolz was the one who pierced my ears. She started with my left ear; piercing my tragus first then helix. She then moved on to pierce my right ear; my daith. Upon putting the jewelry on the daith piercing; she dropped the metal ball in my ear. She used a secondary metal ball but did not take the metal ball out of my ear, nor did she advise me on what I can do in order to take this ball out. She moved on to say, “ok you’re all done”. Idk if she was rushing me because of the fact there was a line up at the front of the store but she did not at all help in taking it out. Moving forward, I left and as soon as I got home I kept trying to take this ball out of my ear. STILL, did not come out regardless of what I did. I then decided to call back the store and mentioned what happened to the man on the phone. He asked me if I could come in and they would take a look and I agreed. I arrived at the store at 7:30pm; 30 mins prior to closing and the owner ended up trying to remove it with what I assumed were forceps/clamp.... It made matters completely worse. .... because of this ball in my ear I was loosing my hearing completely in my right ear due to this foreign object lodged in my ear. Moving forward, I end up in the emergency room. I waited about 3 hours for a doctor to come see me. He used multiple instruments to attempt to get it out which in fact hurt way worse than the piercing itself. The doctors at the hospital then mentioned to me that this metal ball was so far back in my ear canal that I’d have to likely see a surgeon. After attempting to use a Katz extractor (instrument used to remove foreign bodies) for the last time he was not able to take it out. The doctor at the hospital then referred me to a otolaryngologist (a head and neck surgeon). The way the store handled my situation was so unprofessional. I am practically deaf for the next who knows how many days until I can see a surgeon. For the total I paid for the piercings... is the same total I had to now pay for the medication I now had to use in my ear for inflammation. They didn’t even give a reimbursement for the mistake they made. I ended up paying so much more after I left this store. I wish I would have listened to the people who gave me bad reviews on this store. So disappointed and angry about this whole experience! **I watched a couple videos of people getting their daith done... one difference I definitely noticed was people getting their daith done were sitting in a slightly upward position. When I got mine done I was lying down completely on my left side. Reasons why it went so deep in my ear ** The situation could have been avoided if she had me sit up right. *UPDATE* (October 8th, 2020) I finally seen a otolaryngologist... I am now left with a perforated ear drum which has now caused me hearing loss. I am in the midst of speaking to a litigator because I most definitely did not sign up to recieve hearing loss.

The piercings were very quick and surprisingly painless. He told me the after care procedures and answered any ridiculous questions I had. Please do yourself a favour and don't come here. I went here about a year ago and my piercings still have not healed. I got (for some reason) curved barbells in my piercings, which I absolutely shouldn't have gotten since I got lobes and nipples done, with bad quality jewelry as surgical steel can cause allergies with nickle content, instead of just using implant grade they cheap out and give you cheap jewelry for their 3 for 60 deal. They were rushed, kinda rude, and didn't give me proper aftercare instructions at all. Please don't come here, I regret going and only wrote this review to warn others

Mac was friendly and explained the process well, and the piercings were very fast and easy(we both didn’t feel it). It was a great overall first experience for the both of us, thanks! (Aug 2020) Update: Came back to get our earlobes done and the entire process was a mess. Not a single employee was wearing their mask correctly, getting too close without permission, and the new piercer was slow and pierced both my lobes wrong. Had gone here for years for piercings and to buy jewelry and contact lenses. However, one of the tattoo "artists" (who had "Adios" tattooed above his eyebrow) absolutely botched a tattoo my girlfriend got at this shop and attempted to charge her 140$ for it. The whole time he made us feel pressured like it was a burden for him to have to do a tattoo, and when we noticed how horrible of a job he was doing we decided to cut our losses and leave as he decided to freehand it and clearly wasn't listening to what she wanted. Have never had any issues with piercings or microdermals, but I would not suggest going to this shop for a tattoo.

this was probably the worst tattoo experience of my life. they made me give a 100 dollar deposit, which is pretty high. And then when I got there they were out of printer ink so I had to wait over an hour for their 'intern' or whatever to get some. Then the guy just basically slapped it on me, filled it in -not very well i might add- and went to eat lunch. They didn't give me any after care instructions (written or verbal) and no one came to see if i was okay while i was waiting. they just don't care. i paid almost $200 for a small rose and i paid $280 for a quarter sleeve, which in my opinion is better. they didn't bother to tell me about the process or show me the needles were clean (definitely signs of a bad shop.) why did i even bother making an appointment if i was going to have to wait around for an hour and a half anyways? i think there should have been some type of discount or compensation at least, since i would think having printer ink at a tattoo shop is kind of important. news flash, you guys are decent tattoo artists not a gift from god. stop being a bunch of jerks! So while the rose turned out okay,I don't think ill be going back.

Unbelievably disappointed. Went here two years ago to get my septum pierced and they completely messed up the placement. Decided to give them a second chance this year with my first large arm tattoo, and the outcome couldn't have been worse. For starters the tattoo is now over two months old and in spots has some weird blisters? under the skin? i did all the proper care so i have NO clue why this happened. The tattoo itself is also sideways and not even correctly placed. I also asked for a specific artist while booking and walked into my appointment to a completely different person. At this point i know i should have just left. Worst of all has to be the fact that there is shading OUTSIDE? my tattoo? like they completely missed the tattoos outline and shaded in a random spot. It looks like a toddlers coloring book. Not to mention the hand on my tattoo looks like a DOG PAW. No hand structure at all, just a blob with two lines. I gave the artist a print out of what i wanted, its not like he needed to draw the hand? :/ The outline of the tattoo itself isn't even straight in spots. I have gotten multiple comments about how bad this tattoo looks, and its heartbreaking considering how meaningful it was supposed to be. Now i have to dish out more money and hope to god another tattoo shop can fix whatever the hell is going on with this thing. Sure another shop may be able to fix the bent lines and dog paw looking hand, but i will have to laser removal the shading that is outside the tattoo! So much extra money I'm going to have to dish out for what? Might resort to just getting it lasered removed in general and having another shop redo it in a different spot. Save your money. Do your research. Find a different shop.

My friend and I came to take advantage of the 3 for $60 piercing deal they have ongoing. The deal is a great value for the money, and the shop itself was clean, updated, and had a nice ambiance (decor/music etc.)The front desk staff were very nice. The piercer on the other hand was clearly tired and frankly a bit rude. Did not say hello and was very rushed and curt the entire time: (“So what do you want?” “Glasses off.” “Look down.” “Move over.”) I had a few concerns about the placement on my nose and lobe and while she did re-mark my nose it was clear she was annoyed. The lobe she did not remark after telling me it was fine and I felt like I had to just go along with it. The piercing experience was rushed, very transactional/impersonal and overall a bit unpleasant considering we were paying to get needles stuck in our bodies and were expecting to be treated with some kindness and patience. Definitely soured my experience here.

A month ago I got my forward helix pierced from this location. It was the worst mistake of my life. They are pierced at an angle instead of straight. Impossible to change my piercing, impossible to clean, never ending healing and forever stuck with ugly hole. I have 10 other piercing and NONE of the hurt this much as much this my forward helix with the guy who did them. It was intense insane amount of pain! The guy who did the piercing rushed me so much that I didnt even get a chance to check if he was doing it right. He did not clamp my ear and YES as a customer I CAN request that. He told he that he has never done it with a clamp. I wish I had just got up and left after he did my first one. Forward helix is SUCH a tiny area, for me to get ANY other piercing in that area is now impossible thanks to this place. The deal is pretty great but trust me you dont want to get anything done from here. Trust me on that

When I went in, I was "greeted" by a group of men sitting in the corner of the crammed room, staring at us, not saying a word. The places reeked so bad of weed I felt nauseous. I ultimately decided to leave (with my anxiety boiling) before I made it through a quarter of the form. I have no idea how this place has such good ratings. They ruined my first ear piercing experience in years.

Truly a disappointing experience. I booked here because of the good tattoo reviews but I should have known from our initial consult. Saw the artist (won't mention name because I actually like the guy), and asked for a quote. Was told "I'll just hook you up no worries" and was told to schedule a date. We did for 2pm (which was today) Showed up at 2:16pm after calling because there were road closures. Front desk told us he let the artist know we were here. We waited but he didn't come to get us. As I went to the restroom I saw him playing video games. All good I thought, maybe it's what he does to 'get in the zone'. 10 mins goes by, and he still doesn't come to get us. So I asked front desk again who assured us he knew we were here. Another 10 mins goes by so I ask front desk again, who again told me he knows you're here and is just finishing up a meeting. Meeting? The artist then goes over and talks to another guy, who even ends up spending a bunch of time talking casual talk about what he did the other night. It's now 2:46pm and I walk out. I dn't know if the artist never new we were there and the front desk staff was lting to us... or he did and he was just 'busy' with other things... But it felt like it was a Blatant disrespect for time. Super unprofessional. Very disappointing. At the very least we could have been acknowledged and told he was running late. But we were essentially ignored Again this could have been a front desk issue or the artist just didn't know or care about time... but it was unprofessional and unfortunate. As a result, I can't really recommend anyone go here when there are plenty of other tattoo places who treat you right. (this would have been my 3rd tattoo this week so I know and other shops were very professional in their approach).

So the place is very clean and it was a good overall experience. My friends and I went for the 3 for $60 deal. My one complaint is that we weren't offered advice about post-piercing care. We had to ask about it and even then it wasn't thorough. Maybe they thought we would be okay since my friend and I had other piercings, but for my other friend, it was her first piercing. I would recommend making it a habit to tell everyone about post-piercing care unless they say otherwise. Thanks though, my piercing looks great.

Piercer (toolz ?) and receptionist were both very unfriendly. The piercer put an incredibly long earring in my cartilage, it was much longer than the previous cartilage jewellry I had done at Pleasure and Pain. When I asked why, she basically said that they didn't have enough jewellry since the line was so long and that it shouldn't matter what it looks like as long as it heals. When I expressed my concerns after the fact, she was not considerate at all and very rude.

I was going for my third lobe and the male piercer who helped us gave me advice about placement and how one of my second lobe piercings i got done a couple weeks ago from an icing look bad and recommended I take it out, let it heal, and get it re-pierced so it was even. He did my third lobes quickly and cleanly, only bled a little. It was my sister's first time and they were very understanding. It was clean, had good pricing, friendly atmosphere. Would recommend!

The tattoo over all was done very mediocre, I know because I've been going to a different place now that actually takes into consideration proper line work and lead you through what they're doing. I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend this place for a tattoo, but the piercings (got my nose pierced years ago here) are solid, but rushed as well.

I got three tattoos at this establishment as well as two piercings. The piercings were great one was my eyebrow and the other was my cartridge. The piercer was very talented and did them so quick that I didn't feel any pain. Even though my eyebrow did reject that wasn't the fault of the piercer and I'm hoping to get it done again when the scar heals! However the tattoos I got were sub-par. The first one I got had faded within a week and has a marbeled effect ( which does look cool but would have preferred it to be solid). The second and third ones have the same issue where a lot of the lines are jacked up. They did take effort to make sure that I was comfortable but I wish they had taken more care and time in the work. I would certainly go back for piercing in the future.

When we asked the woman at the front, she was shocked to hear that the piercer did not inform us on any aftercare treatment. Also, I had to get it redone because it was crooked.

My son and I came in for piercings taking advantage of their GREAT DEAL - 3 for $60 (he got 2 and I got 1). We came in on a Saturday night, was told it'd be about 15 minutes so we decided to wait, but 45 minutes later we were running late and had to leave. We came back on Thursday and had to convince the different girl at reception that we had already paid and that the owner, Kelly, had given us this card [presented card] and told us to come back in. Luckily one of the tattoo artists remembered us and backed up our story. Then, due to a miscommunication between the receptionist and Shane the piercing guy (piercer?) we waited an extra 15 minutes or so. So service in that respect was a little lacking. BUT... the actual work they did was superb. Shane was clean, professional, communicative and most importantly had warm hands! We watched a few tattoo customers too and they all were very happy with the work done. If not for the timing service issue I'd have given 5 stars.

Absolutely awful. Came here with my friend only because they had a deal on and we will never come back. The moment we walked in it seemed sketchy and not the place to get good quality piercings. The people working there were rude and hardly engaged in conversation. My friend and I each got our 4th ear piercings, and each of ours got infected for months - mines STILL infected and i got it LAST NOVEMBER. I've had multiple ear piercings from other places which have never been infected as I clean them daily, however given the vibe of the place I wasn't surprised. Both my friend and I regretted going there after because of the poor job. DO NOT RECCOMEND FOR PIERCINGS, I wouldn't trust them with ear piercings and definitely not any other body part WILL NOT be coming back.

I visited pleasure and pain last week and got my rook pierced by Nikki. The experience itself was fine but in the few days after my piercing I was experiencing a lot of pain to the point where I couldn’t even clean it myself. I have a fair amount of piercings already so I knew the pain was different than normal piercing healing. I asked my sister with help with cleaning my piercing and she discovered that the ball on the piercing was rubbing into the back of my ear and creating a hole since the piercing was so tight. I emailed pleasure and pain and let them know the situation and they responded and told me to come in and have it looked at. I went in the next morning and they told me they didn’t have the proper tools to fix it and I would have to come back later. I was in so much pain that I ended up going to skintricate to have the piercing looked at. The piercer there freaked out at how poorly the piercing was done and said we had to remove it. Once removing it we discovered it was pierced with a straight barbell which the piercer at skintricate was very upset over as rooks are never to be pierced with that kind of barbell. I emailed pleasure and pain and let them know that I had to have it removed and that I was upset with the lack of care that they have for the piercings they do and asked for a refund. They have yet to answer me. I will attach photos of the barbell that was used and what my ear looked like afterwards

I got my first tatto from this place and it was not what I asked for. The tatto artist screwed up my arm. He was rough and stopped the tatto randomly saying it was done when it was far from done. I have been here two times, once with my ex-boyfriend for his first tattoo, and another a couple years later for my second. For my ex's experience, we were walk-in and even though they had only one person in the chair being tattooed, we waited for 40-45 minutes before even speaking to an artist because the other two artist were out to "lunch" (aka getting a case of beer and bringing it back to the shop), in which time my my ex and I both noted the distinct smell of pot. We eventually got Gigglez and he was somewhat friendly but competent at his work and thankfully not high as far as I could tell. He didnt show us his fresh needle explicitly but I was watching carefully and saw the whole process was sterile. When we finished, there was no aftercare instructions given, although I wasnt familiar enough with the process to notice this at the time Now for my second, I was also a walk-in. I spoke to the owner at the front and he was brusk and kinda rude, but I let it slide being to intimidated to say anything. I told him my initial idea and he gave me Amanda Panda as my artist. She discussed with me my idea and explained to me why it wouldnt work out that way I wanted, which I appreciated. I ended up getting something else in the end. She too did not show me the sterile needles but again, I watched and knew they were. I was nervous getting this tattoo since I am both terrified of needles and didnt handle the pain of my first tattoo on my foot very well. She seemed to trivialize my fear and basically told me to get over it. I got the tattoo, went to pay and this time, I did notice the lack of aftercare instructions. I asked and they just said get some Bactine. I discovered through going to another shop how bad those instructions were. Never use Bactine for body mod aftercare! Even the Bactine website says NOT for tattoos or piercings. Another addition is that she did a crap job at bandaging my tattoo up and it fell off within half an hour of my having it. All in all, subpar service, snotty attitude, mid level pricing, smell of pot and drinking on the job I assume, no health instructions. I have been going to Skintricate in streetsville for all my other work and it is so much better there. Similar pricing but much much better service and better quality work, they actually show you the whole sterilization, walk you through all the steps before during and after as well as the aftercare, answers all questions and concerns knowledgeably, and the people are actually nice.

Shayne is awesome. I had a triple forward helix piercing done on both ears at another shop about three months back and have had nothing but issues from uncomfortable jewellery to piercing bumps on all six piercings. I went in to see if I can get some help changing out the jewellery hoping that would help heal the bumps. Instead of changing them out and making a buck, Shayne took the time to check them out and gave me some great advice on how to heal the bumps. Very knowledgable and professional. I will update this with the outcome once I take his advice. Fingers crossed :)

I got my 3 for $60 at this place. Please do yourself a favour and get your piercings somewhere else. Limited information given about how to take care of the piercings plus which material is better for healing. I got my rook, conch and helix here and all three have been swollen for months. My conch has gross scaring and my skin is sticking out. My helix has a very weird bump which seems to be how it healed, and not an irritation bump. My rook has overall been swollen for months. Biggest regret!!! All i learned was that if you go to a shop with expensive prices, your piercing will heal far better.

awful experience!! went for my first lobe piercing and was pierced with their "standard" piercing jewelry which was definitely not suppose to be for the ears!!!!! looked more like an eyebrow piercing. GUN WAS NOT USED! I got my conch pierced from Jen and she was amazing. She described the after care process in detail and was extremely patient in answering my questions. The actual process was quick and painless! I ended up having an issue with the backing of the jewelry and Jen replaced it, free of charge, the next day - and they even stayed open past 8 PM to help deal with the last minute replacement. I will definitely revisit for any subsequent piercings!

Do not come here for piercings. I was pierced by a woman (who’s name I don’t remember) and she literally had no idea what she was doing, and both my piercing and my 2 friends’ piercings were absolutely horrible. I got my rook pierced here about a month ago and it’s been bleeding since. It’s infected at this point so I might have to just take it out. When my boyfriend was getting his lobe pierced, she said “oh shit” before piercing him which threw all of us off, and she used a curved barbell for his lobe. We went to a trusted piercer that we know the next day, and he said it was atrocious and had to take his out completely. I can’t comment on their tattoos as I haven’t gotten any here, but do not come here if you’re looking for a good quality piercing that you won’t have to take out 2 weeks later lol

I had my septum pierced today by Kelly, it was fast and we had a few laughs during I would definitely get pierced here again ???????? EDIT original review posted when pierced in February: I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 1 star. Upon healing my nose was pierced crooked and really low on my septum. They told me they would call me to fix it when they would be doing face piercings again and have not received any call. I'll be going to another shop to get my nose repierced. Be wary as they didn't even bother to mark the piercing before doing it. Don't waste your money like I did coming here.

I came here last year for the 3 for 60 piercing deal, and I got three piercings done on my cartilage. Tommy was super friendly- taught me breathing techniques, and even gave me his own card with personal cell number in case I needed anything or if their were any problems. In comparison to the other piercing store I've been to, Pain and Pleasure ranks as my top choice for piercings. Friendly staff and job well done.

It was my sister's first time getting a cartilage piercing. We shared the deal. She got her Helix and Tragus done and I got the Daith done. I must say, it was the reviews that brought me in and those reviews didn't lie!! My cousin who got her Daith done at a different place scared me into getting it saying it was the worst piercing and hurt like hell, but Shayne was quick and very confident it barely hurt. I guess it was the thought that scared me and caused all the pressure, but after finally getting it done, I don't feel it at all. Sometimes I forget I even got the Daith done. I was able to sleep on it right away as well and I absolutely love it!!. Definitely will be coming in for more piercings!

My girlfriend who has many piercings got a new piercing from a very rude Natalie or Nicole (I don't remember the name exactly) from this place last week and it came out terrible. The piercing got bloody and crusty and bumpy she did a horrible job and had no care or professionalism what so ever. I got my ears pierced for the first time back on September 23, 2021. The piercer informed me to use the solution for 2 weeks which I did and to use HOT WATER only for 2 months after the solution. However, the norm is to use sea salt water but I trusted the piercers advice. This was terrible advice as I took out my piercings for the first time on December 23rd. The process to take out my earrings was extremely painful. To add on, my ears were inflamed and had bumps around the piercing area on my earlobe. My ear is on the verge of infection and my piercing hole already closed up. I have to go re pierce them once my ears properly heal up. I lost $100 going to the place and 3-4 months of my time. I cannot use the earrings I recently bought and have to wait another 1-2 months to re pierce and put them in. I recommend to go to a PROPER piercing place to ensure you don't have to re pierce them.

Would not recommend this place. Went to get two second lobe piercings and a Rook piercing and my friends got a couple very small tattoos. For my experience with piercing, the piercer was nice enough but he asked if be could have a cigarette first which I had no problem with, until he got back and started going on about how tired he was and how late he was up the night before. Basically made it clear he didn't want to be there. He went on long enough for me to actually say "are you okay? Because you're about to put needles in me and you're making me nervous" . He then marked out where the lobe holes would go and they were extremely uneven so I pointed that out to him and he said my ears were just wonky but that he would pierce it below the dot to make them more even. After he was done they were still extremely uneven. One was way further away from the hole I already had and on the other ear the new hole was really close. For my friends experience who was getting a couple tiny tattoos that are literally the size of a penny, the guy seemed extremely unenthused to do them and they overcharged her like crazy because they knew we came from another city and didn't want to go home without anything. She paid 140 and then got quoted at a shop at home for wayyyy less. Considering they took about five minutes each she should have been charged the base price of one hour. If you saw the tattoos you would understand how outrageous the price was. One of the tattoos has also scarred her skin and the tattoo feels raised months after the fact and hurts when you touch it which is not normal. Wouldn't go back.

I got my cartilage pierced over a year ago and it healed nicely. I recently got my tragus pierced and asked the piercer if I had enough space to get it pierced. They said yes so we continued with the piercing. The problem arose when I tried to change the jewellery. I initially had a barbell in and tried to put on a regular straight earring. However long I tried, I couldn’t get the earring in. I decided to go to another piercing place to change the jewellery and the piercer there told me that my tragus was pierced on an angle. Therefore, I wouldn’t be able to put any other earrings in that wasn’t a barbell. That piercer also told me that if I went to her, she wouldn’t have pierced the tragus since there is not enough room. Upsetting that it was pierced on an angle in order to dodge the fact that I didn’t have enough room. If the initial piercer at Pleasure and Pain had told me I didn’t have enough room I wouldn’t have gotten the piercing at all.

I am super disappointed with my septum piercing. I was pierced by Toolz and while she seemed confident and experienced, my piercing came out very crooked. I was immediately displeased. Toolz said let’s do it again, so I did. The second attempt was better but still crooked. I called the next day to see if she would do the piercing again because I was still very disappointed with the placement. She said to wait until it heals, but if I wanted it done again they would charge me full price. Not only did she do my piercing free hand, she commented after the first attempt that my septum piercing from a few years ago messed her up. The 3 for $60 deal is very popular, this made me feel confident that I would be taken care of. I was not. If you have a problem with your piercing with Toolz you can’t even raise a concern, because she is also the shop manager. Honestly save yourself the time (and money) and go somewhere else. Shout out to Natasha at the front desk because she was lovey and very patient. She is the only reason this place gets an extra star from me. Added photo

My piercings usually heal really fast and without complications but I went here for the 3 for 60 deal and all my piercings got horribly infected, they’ve been bad for about a month I had to take them all out which wasn’t too hard cause 2 of the backings had been falling off constantly anyways, went to a different piercing place to get them put back on and the piercers there were appalled at the jewelry used and at how short the bars were and there was too much swelling to put the backings back on, they offered to put in longer bars for a fee but reccomended that I take them out and let them heal. My Mum is a nurse so I had her take a look and she said the infection was really bad and if it got any worse I would probably end up needing antibiotics.... so overall I will never be going back here and if you value your health and safety I recommend you don’t either :(

The worst place ever , me and my sister both got it pierced from Tommy Mac and he apparently pierced my sisters nose in the wrong direction. She had alot of pain for many days and the stud would go in her hole ,we didn't know what the reason was and then we went back to the girl who was there and she checked and said he had pierced it all wrong so she had to repierce it again . Her hole is so big now and the whole experience was really painful . They should also put the curtains or close the door while doing piercings because everyone can see you getting your piercings done.

A lot of people comment seem like salty people. The place is legit, everything was clean from fresh needles all the way down to the chair. I can't speak for everyone at the shop but lance did a great job on my tattoo it's done healing now and it looks great! He even stayed over an hour after the place closed just to do my tattoo(and I was just a walk in), very professional place. I have went once and I'll be sure to go back to get my half sleeve done. Also to top that off the prices are very fair and the work quality is very good. I can't speak on piercings from a personal view but I know many people who went here for piercings and they said nothing but good things! All and all this is a great place

I called to ask about a piercing and any specials, the guy on the phone told me there was a 3 for 60 promotion. He didn't know anything else about it or seem to know anything about piercings in general, and didn't transfer me to anyone that could help and just told me to walk in. Also when I asked when the promo would end he said "I don't know I'm just the receptionist, go look at our Instagram or something" and that was it. I went on their Instagram and messaged about the specifics in the promo, they didn't even reply. They clearly didnt want my business so I went somewhere else and had it done.

Have been coming to get piercings for several years - Tommy is absolutely amazing. However, the owners are extremely rude, have no care for punctuality and have 0 professionalism. Called to make an appointment for piercings, knowing walk-ins could get to be a pretty long wait. They said “don’t worry about it”, and now I’ve been waiting almost two hours and I still haven’t been pierced. Revision ; when I began the piercing process - their supplier hadn’t pieced Together the jewelry and it took an extra ~30 minutes to begin. Owner began line up, complained previous dentals weren’t actually lined; both were done at their shop, and when one started rejecting and I went in to have it removed (small incision), Chris decided to twist it out for ten min and form a terrible scar / Keloid. The line up now with new piercings is still almost an inch off and took more than 15 min. Also, owners attitudes about script tattoos are terrible. They once told me the “script I chose was ugly and they hated it so much they wouldn’t do it”.

I’ve gotten my industrial and snug piercing over a week ago and I’ve followed all the protocols regarding cleaning and infection control by Toolz. Over the past weekend I was hospitalized due to a bacterial infection called Perichondritis and had to receive an IV and 10 days of antibiotics. My ear was extremely swollen and double in size. When I called the shop I spoke to owner of the store and right away extremely dismissive of my concerns of what happened and basically told me that health Canada came in yesterday and if I would like to contact them that’s up to me. Not one sorry or making sure I was ok with what happened and hung up the phone on me. Beware of this shop... you are only important when giving them money, the second you leave that place you become irrelevant and any complaints fly over their heads. I have been to this place multiple times for other piercings and tattoos in the past years and will not be coming back for the simple fact of their ignorance and lack of care of customers. That is not how you do business. Beware of getting your piercings here.

Where do I begin... I went to the shop with a friend and our two sons with the intent to get myself some piercings ( to add to my current collection of 22) and my friend to do the same plus a tattoo ( add to her current collection as well). Our children were seated and "tamed" if you may but we received NO service. Upon entry we were not greeted or even looked at by any of the staff ( specifically the two tattoo artist in eyes view) we watched both artist communicate among themselves and others, play on their phones, cash out customers, laugh and say good byes never once were we acknowledge. One artist even finished with a client, cashed them out and went back to his chair and sat on his phone, and even took a few smoke breaks.After 20 minutes of waiting a male came in and was greeted and serviced INSTANTLY! To make sure that they were just busy and not being "choosey" I asked the customer if he had an appointment and he said " no I am just a walk-in". At that very moment I realized what was taking place...We were being ignored and somehow were wearing an invisible cloak that only ourselves, our children and customers around us could see. We felt as if we were not being serviced because of only one reason... our children were with us! We called before coming out and the owner said it was no problem to bring them along but his staff seemed to think otherwise! None the less, moments later, the piercing artist( Tommy Mac) ( who has done plenty of my piercings in the pass) became free. I poked my head into his space, he greeted me with a smile and said Hey how are you, sorry am so busy. I responded accordingly and also told him I came to see him for some piercings. He said cool did you get your waiver ? I then told him no one has even said hi to us or "realized" we were here. He apologized instantlyfor being busy and for for the wait and assured me that he had one person waiting and it would be my turn.right after. Unfortunately , both myself and the other mother were already far to upset and decided we'd rather spend our monies else where or just go anywhere where we would be treated kindly and with some respect. I only gave the shop 2 stars because I feel as if the staff the I have encountered in the past ( Tommy Mac, Kelly Pain and Giggles Malone) don't deserve 1 star because they have always given me phenomenal service( Tommy and Kelly more specifically) but the new staff failed to do so and in this world you are only as strong as your weakest link!!!!! so... 2 stars for Pleasure and Pain. Sincerely, The two cool moms from the other night.

Extremely unprofessional and inconsistent information. Their website and Instagram gives conflicting information and they refuse to update their Instagram bio, perhaps to try to con more customers. Website says 2 piercings for $60 but their Instagram says 3 for $60 on hold, implying the sale will be back on, but when? They don’t update either page with current information. They also broke Covid protocols during the lockdown and went on a tirade on their Instagram stories, cussing out the person who did it in an extremely unprofessional manner. I imagine they disregard the health and safety of all their clients like this and I will not be going here after lockdown lifts to get my piercings as planned, since I doubt they will follow health and safety protocols.

I got a piercing as I was attracted by the low cost...what I forgot was that you only get ONE body so take care of it!!...needless to say my piercings rejected as a result of their low end metals but I'm just happy I didn't catch anything as they didn't even sterilize my friends nose before piercing it! When I first entered the place smelled like weed I'm just happy I didn't catch anything HIV IS A REAL THING and probably festers there so be careful and take your precious bodies somewhere else.

I don’t recommend getting piercings here. I got my industrial about 3-4 weeks ago. My industrial was too low and cutting into my ear to the point of growing over my piercing. when I asked for shorter industrial bar they said it doesn’t matter what size it is which is very untrue. piercer didn’t even properly take a look at my ear and check if my anatomy was right for this type of piercing. DONT waste your time here I recommend going to Reactive Ink and Tattoo in Kensington Market (they do $25 piercings everyday) or New Tribe on Queen West they have done all my past piercings on my ears AND face and I haven’t had a problem with any of them!

This place is so bad I'd like to give them a zero. But that's not possible so I'm giving them a 1. Came here for ear piercings and they did not do a good job. The piercings are not aligned on my ears, the piercer did it very quickly it seems without making sure they were aligned. Same thing with my friend I came with. Additionally, the earrings they used came out very easily and they charged me $5 just to replace the back. They informed me these types of earrings fall out very easily and need to be replaced often. Then why still use them and charge me for a replacement? Other piercing places allow you to choose earrings. In addition, they charged my friend and I $20 for their solution to clean the piercing with but in a response to another google review, they reveal their solution is 100% sea salt. So why can't they just tell us to clean with sea salt? My friend did a piercing at a different place and this is what they told her. It would have made more sense for them to explain to me to clean my piercing with salt water, I could've done that instead of spending $20 on their solution that I had to use 1/4 of the bottle of anyway. Overall, they seem to unfairly charge their customers. They care more about money and unfair prices than actually giving good service.

I would not recommend anyone to get a tattoo at pleasure and pain ink unless you are looking for bad line work and terrible shading work to match it, the people that work here have absolutely no consideration for quality. from my experience of walking in to this place with a simple idea that wasn't done right, maybe due to management rushing the artist in order to get another person in the seat? or just hiring inexperienced people who lie to you about their work history and education. this place is the worst, that is all.

I got a tattoo done by Eric and let me tell you, even though the placement of my tattoo was in one of the most painful spots, he made sure i was comfortable and okay the entire time. The whole process of stenciling and doing the actual tattoo was done in less than 2 hours and it looks so good! Everyone i showed my tattoo too is so obsessed with it and i’ll definitely be back !

I will never be going back here. I have gotten multiple piercings in the past and very well versed with the process so decided to try a new place. Firstly, the receptionist had no idea what was going on. Every single person who walked in she told them when asked how long, that it would be 20 minutes. I told her I would wait in the car because it was cold outside and the covid capacity was high she didn’t say anything, and when I returned, she simply laughed and said idk where your spot is now and then made us go to the back of the line. Even after this 20 minutes, we waited ANOTHER 2.5 hours in line. There was no social distancing, although it stated 7 people maximum in the store, they had let everyone inside. There was one piercer and I understand the job can get repetitive and hard, but she kept taking long breaks in between EVERY single piercing she completed. And to make this worse, when it was our turn, she was SO aggressive. Me and my other two friends literally felt like she stabbed us. And she was aggressively cleaning on top of the fresh piercing with alcohol as if it’s been healed for months??? That’s NOT how u clean, you are gentle and you clean around the piercing. She was so rough and aggressive. She was also very rude, not answering straight forward questions like “what kind of jewellery do you pierce with” and giving petty responses like “a small one” with a rude attitude. She also didn’t give any aftercare instructions other than “use alcohol”. If I had not had many piercings before I would have not known anything about aftercare. i’m not done!!!! While we were waiting in line, I overheard so many conversations by the staff (because I literally had 2.5 hours to do nothing). They purposely complimented a girl customers shoes and started asking her about it pretending like they loved it, and as soon as she walked away started making fun of them!!! What was the point of starting up a conversation only to make fun of them behind her back??? This was the receptionist and (who seemed like) the owner of the store. Extremely rude staff, aggressive piercer and overall just a horrible experience. I could continue but no amount of words can explain this. Sure the price was good, but not worth the terrible zero quality service. I’m going back to my original piercer !!

Toolz pierced both of my nipples for me and it was done so quickly, cleanly and professionally! I was so impressed. Unfortunately I didn't have a third piercing I wanted so I ended up paying about $150 all in. They also accommodate walk-ins, so no appointment needed. I was very happy with how they're handling covid and maintaining safety precautions. Toolz made the experience for me though as I was extremely nervous initially, but she had me feeling confident and in good hands the whole time.

Terrible piercing experience. I got a cartilage piercing. They did it crooked. The exit of the piercing is basically behind my ear so it rubs against my head when my ears are pushed down so it hasn't healed properly. The rod they put in was too short, when I got it changed, the girl couldn't take it off and basically yanked and twisted it for 20 mins as it bled everywhere until a tattoo artist came to snap it off.

Do not waste your money, find a better place to get piercings. I can’t personally attest to their tattoos but it’s not worth it for piercings. My two friends and I went in for the 3/$60 deal and we were immediately brought to the back and rushed through all of us. I have had many experiences with piercings and none of them have been that fast: he wiped the chair down once but never changed his gloves or disinfected anything. I’ve been to him before (the past location in Streetsville) and I went again thinking it was a different place. The first time I went was a similar experience, but all my piercings were crooked or just placed wrong. I never wanted to go back to him but I realized too late that I’d been to him before, so I hope the placement of my new one is okay but it’s too early to tell. This time, when he first drew the dot for placement he never asked me if it was okay he literally just said “Alright, lay down.” My friend was nervous for hers and she appreciated how fast it was but there is a difference between being fast and being efficient. For me he was unnecessarily aggressive and never told me what was happening: when he was going to put a clamp on it or when he was coming with the needle. When I got up I started bleeding a lot and he never asked me if I was okay or needed to sit down. In the past when I’ve bled that much I’ve felt light headed the piercer has made sure i’m 100% before I left. It’s good thing I didn’t this time because there was no time to tell him I wasn’t feeling well. Between us sitting down and him telling us we were done we were only with him for like 5 mins. Any piercer who can set up that fast is missing essential steps: like disinfecting. I get that he’s been doing this for a while but he acted like he didn’t care about us at all and just wanted to get it done. I normally don’t leave reviews and I wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for all the sanitary issues I had with this place. Don’t waste your time or money: Xtremities is awesome and has a 2 for 1 piercing deal all the time.

There's a sign that says to wait outside until you're called in. No one called us in after 10 mins of waiting and there wasn't a line up. So we opened the door to ask if we can come in. We get in, and are ignored for about another 10 mins. So they don't have the best customer service. Finally we paid and waited for our turn. That took about 20 minutes. They sanitized after each customer. However, it felt rushed. I hate the way my piercing turned out but I'm sort of stuck with it now. I searched up the standard placement of nose piercings and my nose piercing is nowhere near that :/ it just looks off. I'm definitely not happy with how it turned out. They did place a black dot and showed me prior. However, I just trusted them to know what they were doing. I suggest you take time to decide if the placement is where you like it to be and not trust their judgement.

When I got my piercing done here, most of the staff was wearing their masks incorrectly. I got an industrial and a helix done by Toolz, whose only aftercare advice was to "clean it with the saline spray two times a day for only two weeks." I developed pustules on all three holes, and I had to take out my industrial because it was getting so bad. Also, they did not allow me to choose my jewelry and didn't inform me what kind of metal it was. I understand that because of the pandemic, supplies may be limited, but this is obviously very unprofessional and caused me to waste $40.

I don't recommend going to this place at all. I went here back in august to get a tattoo done and had previously seen on their instagram that the 3 for $60 deal was sharable with friends, but the guy at the front desk told me they aren't doing that anymore. Fast forward, I got my tattoo done by the girl, i think her name was kayla (who was really nice and did a good job) and also got my naval pierced by toolz. I followed all of the aftercare, and used the saline solution as directed but my piercing became infected within the next couple of months. She also didn't pierce it in the right place (way above my actually belly button). Now I have a big ugly purple scar above my belly button that wont go away. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Especially natasha at the front desk was super friendly and had great customer serivce skills. Got third hole piercing and second cartilage done by bella and she was organized and thorough during the piercing and made us comfortable too; highly recommend this place!!!!!

super unprofessional place. doesnt even ID their clients so they just go around tattooing minors. their instagram bio says one thing, website says another, and are extremely rude when i asked them to clarify their offers. they recently opened back up against COVID rules, making it really unsafe to visit. they then went on instagram and posted extremely disrespectful language on their story, cussing out their “haters” (you’re a tattoo place... humble yourselves). i wouldnt be surprised if this place was being run by a 16 year old.

went for the 3/$60 deal with my friends a while back - the girl at the front was the sweetest! but the piercer rushed through the whole process (it was busy, i get it). they used a curved barbell for my helix piercing, which totally messed up the healing process and now i have to go to another (reputable) piercer to check if it’s crooked :(

Came here a few times to get pierced, first time everything went smooth. I made a lot of recommendations to others about how great this place was. Unfortunately the second time I was very disappointed. The piercer used jewelry that was way too small for helix , it didn’t allow any room for healing. There was a bump and because the bar was so tight , the balls would fall off while cleaning making it almost impossible to put back. Concurred with a few different piercers ,and they were shocked as to why such a small bar was used. Came back once again with a friend and told the piercer about the situation, where she got upset, and very unprofessional. Ended up changing the bar to a better one at Adrenaline Toronto which I would highly recommend. Much more professional staff. As soon as I changed to a longer ball , healing time was almost instant.

I went today with my boyfriend for a 3rd ear piercing and nose. I was very nervous because of my pain tolerance but the ladies were so kind and calmed me down. The nose piercing was done so quick and didn’t hurt. The ear piercing hurt a bit but only personal reasons. The ladies were great, extremely sanitary. Definitely going back for many tattoos and piercing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. ESPECIALLY people that are afraid of getting piercings. I came here 2 weeks in a row to get 4 piercings, helix, conch, septum and nose. My friends who came along also got the same piercings. The 3 piercings for $60 sure had us come in twice, but was it worth it? The answer is NO. Let me break it down for you; the piercing process in this salon is harsh. We got piercings form both Niki and Toolz, and faced the same issue. Few things I questioned after my piercings got infected; the hygiene of this salon. The piercers are nice but they are not good piercers. 3 of my 4 piercings are crooked, in other words they were pierced on a 70degree angle which makes the jewelry come up weirdly and my septum was completely crooked I had to remove it (no I do not have a crooked septum, it was the piercing that was done diagonally). My Helix is pierced diagonally too. Same issue with all my friends as well. And what really threw me off is that everyone got infection in their piercings. No matter where the piercing was. And no this was not an aftercare problem as we bought and used the saline solutions too. I have piercings form the past and never have I ever had such infections so is it fair to assume that the quality of the jewelry being used is unreliable? I’d say yes. I don’t recommend this salon and won’t come back. Although, Salon workers are welcoming and nice.

i went to pleasure and pain with my friend to get tattoos. Giggles did my tattoo for me and it turned out so bad. I got it a few months ago and it's already fading, all of the lines on my tatt are uneven and he was unprofessional. He even messed up on my friends tattoo and it was very unequal. Now I have to go get it re fixed. I highly reccomned to not get a tattoo from giggles.

Great customer service and efficiency. Front desk is always kind and knowledgeable. They always answer the phone and address any questions or concerns. The last time I went was to get 3 ear piercings and Bella was so kind and precise. She took her time and made sure I was totally comfortable and loved the placement before starting. I went back 2 weeks later because I was worried about the swelling and they replaced my helix with a larger bar right away (zero wait) and free of charge! overall an awesome place.

Your shop smells like weed, your employees are careless and rude. Your tattoos are atrocious. You've messed up my belly piercing.
