Just got 5 new piercings done by Skylar. Absolutely amazing experience! She helped me get through each like a pro! Super professional and super funny. The staff at this place is very welcoming. Got a piercing done here by Stacy. She was very polite and informative. I had a list of questions in my head before coming to New Tribe and she answered them before I could even ask, which I appreciated. Another thing that meant a lot to me was that she made sure to mention and show me that all the tools/needles she was using were brand new or sanitized properly. She did a great job on the actual piercing. It only hurt for a second and she made sure to ask me how I was doing with the pain. It's easy to see that she has a lot of experience doing this and that made me feel less anxious. She also gave me her card and said I could DM her if I had any issues or questions, which is also really appreciated. Thank you Stacy and New Tribe!

I have been to New Tribe man times, and four of those times were for tattoos. During my last visit, I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Rat for the first time. Rat is so friendly and professional, and most importantly the tattoo they gave me is absolutely stunning. It has nearly been two weeks since my initial appointment, and my tattoo is healing incredibly well. New Tribe is also really great at their customer service. Usually, the day after I get tattooed I get a little anxious. So, when I emailed them with my questions, they responded to me quickly and answered everything. Ten days after my appointment, they even sent me a follow-up email, which I've never had from any other shop! I have been and will continue to recommend New Tribe to everyone.

My entire experience in dealing with New Tribe has been nothing short of AMAZING. From sending in my request and going back and forth via email to book, to my appointment with Mark everything was top notch. I went in for a very small tattoo but they still took the time to ensure it was absolutely perfect and I felt comfortable with every single step. I never felt rushed or less important as some other shops made me feel just by asking for a quote because it was a smaller piece. My sister and I had a great time getting our tattoos together at New Tribe. It was pretty busy too and we managed to get some great tattoos from Emma and Rat. They were super friendly and accommodating, especially for my sister who was really nervous initially too. Rat did a great job putting her at ease and she had a great experience. I also really enjoyed how friendly Emma was, listening to me ramble on about Y: The Last Man haha. Everything was super safe and awesome, especially with a lot of the online stuff we had to do to make sure Covid restrictions were dealt with properly. I highly recommend going to New Tribe for any potential ideas you have for tattoos or piercings. This wasn't the first time I went there too and I'll definitely be using them as my go-to artists for the future!

My sisters and I decided to get a tattoo with Sarah from New Tribe. During the process, they unfortunately suffered a power outage including the entire 4 blocks. This affected the power needed to complete the tattoo. Sarah and the team got creative and they were able to complete the tattoo with a portable device. Luckily the power came back on just in time to get my tattoo done. Sarah was committed to completing the work for all 3 of us, regardless of the surrounding obstacles at hand. The entire team at new Tribe were helpful and created a positive experience for everyone. Also, the tattoos were nicely done and looking forward to any future work. The actual tattooing was done by Rat and she was wonderful. She worked with me at the beginning of my appointment to ensure the design was exactly what I was envisioning. I didn't feel rushed at all and Rat and the entire staff made me feel safe and comfortable. The booking process prior was also very pleasant and efficient as well. I submitted my inquiry/request, along with a few sample photos and was contacted right away and emailed back and forth to confirm the design and the appointment details. I got a single helix piercing in my right ear at New Tribe yesterday (10/24/21) and could not have been happier with the entire experience. I was WARMLY greeted by one of the receptionists and then introduced to Fae, my artist. Fae was extremely approachable and explained everything upfront, leaving no gaps in communication; she essentially answered all of my questions before I could even ask them! This made me feel very comfortable and even more excited about getting pierced. The facility is HUGE and very clean; Fae used brand new tools, which she unwrapped in front of me. She also offered her social contact information should I have any questions during my healing process (3-6months). So when my friend and I called the place, it said walk ins were first come first serve, so we went in and asked if there were any walk in piercings available but there weren’t. (Which was completely fine) we showed up later on in the day and were expecting that; however, the girl at the front desk was really short with my friend and didn’t seem interested when asking for her next available time and that type of attitude wont make someone want to come back, she barely kept eye contact and seemed like she didn’t want us in there. It was a short, yet uncomfortable interaction.

This evening I had the absolute pleasure of being pierced by Stacy (@PiercerGurl13)! I have been pierced at many different shops and can say honestly that I will only ever return to New Tribe to work with Stacy. From the moment I entered the shop as a walk-in, I was greeted by exceptionally friendly staff who immediately made me feel comfortable - if I had walked in with any doubts, they were gone from the moment the desk staff engaged with me. Stacy is an extremely talented professional who made an otherwise nerve wracking experience pleasant and exciting. She walked me through their sanitization and hygiene procedures and her space was clean and well kept. The first words out of my mouth after the needle had passed through were, "You are very good at your job. That didn't hurt." She went through the aftercare procedures with me carefully and diligently. The process was a breeze and I am over the moon happy with how the piercing turned out.

Hesitant as I always am about most things, I decided to get my nose pierced along with my ear, something called a helix, it all went well, great experience. The next day I noticed that my nose piercing was sinking in, due to the ball being too small, unsure of what to do I emailed them and they gave me a prompt reply. I was impressed with their customer service and I went in , they changed the ball and my anxiety disappeared, these guys are great at what they do. Where do I begin? I set up a free consultation through New Tribe's easy to navigate web site. I met with Emma and right away felt super comfortable that I had the perfect artist for my piece. I had an idea but handed over creative licence to Emma and we set a date to do the work. The date for my appointment arrived and Emma was on time and ready for me. I LOVED the design that was presented to me and we then agreed on a size and Emma got to work! Although the piece took longer than planned, Emma was super chill and did not rush the piece. Even without seeing it, I could tell there was a tremendous amount of attention to detail taking place. Throughout the tattoo...there was great conversation and some laughs and I was super comfortable. When I finally got to see the end result...I was blown away! And now, a day later...I continue to see more and more detail every time I look at it. I am so glad I chose New Tribe and super stoked that Emma did the work. I'll be back for sure! I currently live in Brampton but the travel time to Toronto is totally worth the service. Got my bridge piercing (by Stacy) here a couple months ago and just recently went back for a tattoo (by Mark)! Both artists were professional, clean, and on time. So happy with the results of my piercing and tattoo! The studio itself is very welcoming, friendly, clean, and inclusive. Not for a second did I feel unwelcomed, awkward, or confused. If you're just getting started on your body mod adventure, highly recommend going to New Tribe! Everyone knows what they're doing and work hard to make sure you're comfortable. Also, everything is priced fairly. Jewelry for piercings is proper and high quality. Tattoo artists are all very talented. I can't find a thing I'd change! 10/10 will definitely be going back!

It wasn't the most complicated idea ever for a tattoo but she helped immensely. The artist was awesome. I wanted to change my septum piercing and Stacy helped me. From start to finish the service was extremely efficient. I had tried to go to competitors to get this service but the process was too cumbersome and involved booking a long time ahead. Here, I just did a walk-in, booked an appointment for one hour later and then was seen on the dot of the designated time. I also brought my own jewellery and they were very accommodating and not at all pushy about buying their own. The station was extremely clean and we'll maintained. Stacy had to stretch my piercing as I was going from 16 gauge to 14 guage. Given I had gotten my piercing about 6 weeks ago, I was a bit scared of the pain but it was super easy and pain free. I am so happy with the service and how my new piece looks on me.

Excellent experience. Online booking means minimal wait upon arrival, and they send reminder and follow-up emails with after-care instructions and COVID-19 symptom monitoring. Interior signage instructs you on navigating Toronto parking - which can be a nightmare. Super smooth process, pleasant staff, clean space. I booked at 5:30 for a 6:45 appointment and was done by 7:15. Perfect.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Nate at New Tribe. He was incredibly welcoming and accommodating for both of my tattoos. I felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed each time. Not only is he a phenomenal artist, and extremely professional he's also a wonderful human being in general, I'm positive I'll be back to see him once I have another tattoo design in mind. The experience in the parlor was also wonderful in general, I've been there twice now in the course of just over a month, each time everyone was Friendly and kind, not to mention the parlor itself is a very clean with a fun and welcoming atmosphere. I cannot recommend both Nate and New Tribe Tattoo enough.

My partner and I both got our septum piercings done here. Booking online was quick and easy, so I made appointments for both of us. Check in was quick, and the wait was short while our piercers got ready with sterile equipment for us. Sky was my piercer and they were great. Although I've been tattooed and pierced before, Sky went over every single detail and gave me all the aftercare info prior to the piercing. They opened brand new clamps and a needle in front of me, and said aloud everything they were doing so that I felt comfortable. I appreciated the effort that Sky put in to explain everything. The piercing was quick and painless, about 1.5-2 out of 10 on the pain scale. I was very pleased with Sky's professionalism and efficiency. You can tell that they are passionate about what they do. Would definitely come back for my next piercing and will be booking it with Sky!

CONS: Made a 5pm appointment, arrived 5 minutes early. Was not taken in for my appointment until almost 5:30. When I asked when I would be seen, the girl at the front was very short with me. I paid for parking and upped my parking time twice, and I ended up getting a ticket because my appointment was so late which is annoying. PROS: The piercer Stacy is awesome. Did a great job and is very knowledgeable and good with more challenging piercings.

Heyo, This was my first time getting a tattoo, and they accepted walk-ins (which I’m so grateful for). The location is in a great spot on Queen street, and the shop was clean and orderly, with a really unique design inside. I loved the way the staff really care and go above and beyond with their customers by giving them realistic advice and all the help they need. Furthermore, they are sweet with each other. I had a great chat with the receptionist, and they were all asking each other if they wanted another coffee during a coffee-run request. It was a really nice atmosphere and the place has this good vibe going. As for my tattoo artist, Sarah is so skilled and amazing at what she does. She made me feel comfortable right away, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and understanding with any adjustments I wanted to make with the design. Her work is flawless! She even offers free touch-ups in the first three months in case of tat damage (especially with fine-lined work), so that was a nice perk to hear about. My 9-year old and her best friend got their ears by Stacy. The experience was phenomenal! First, they allowed all 4 of us (2 girls, 2 moms) go into the room together. So the story of my tattoo is long and complicated but to simplify it for the sake of all the readers: I went to ‘chronic ink‘ (Another tattoo establishment in Toronto) with an idea for a tattoo. I got a bad tattoo made by a lousy tattoo artist, paid a fortune for it, and was regretting getting it for a few years. I finally had a bit of money and time and I contacted New Tribe to set me up with someone that wouldn’t be afraid to build a sleeve around my existing unfortunate tattoo. They set me up with Mark and after 5 sessions he turned my regret into a beautiful coherent sleeve which I love!!! On top of being super talented and precise, Mark is a very respectful guy that was always on time, giving the best he had every time to the last minute!! He had a difficult challenge of going around somebody else’s tattoo and making it work! I think he did a great job! If there were more than 5 stars, I would give him more!!

I got pierced by Fae at New Tribe yesterday and had a great experience. She was super kind and friendly and made sure to go over all the details of what to expect with the new piercing and how best to care for it afterwards. She prioritized hygiene and was both careful and efficient. The whole process was seamless. New Tribe is also doing a great job taking COVID seriously - everyone was wearing masks and when I checked in for my appointment the guy at the front made sure I had filled out the questionnaire that was emailed to me before my appointment. All in all, it was a really positive experience and I'll definitely be going back for future piercings.

Horrible experience. My friend and I got piercings here this summer from Sky/Skylar. Our piercings were immediately infected and continued to bleed and cause problems for the next few months even after cleaning them regularly. I had to go to the doctor to get it checked as well and he recommended a few things. I took my earrings out after 3 months, and one of them closed within a day and the other formed a bump at the back of my ear. I reached out to New Tribe and expressed my concerns, and they were extremely dismissive and apathetic. Without investigating further into the problems I was having, they blamed me for their own wrongdoings. They were extremely unprofessional when I reached out to them. All I was hoping from them was some sort of solution to my ears and perhaps offering to open up one of my piercings. Instead they were extremely rude. Please see pictures attached of their unprofessionalism and their inability to take criticism and help their customers.

There is even a 10 day follow up email sent out to make sure your tattoo is healing well, never experienced that before with other places. Probably the WORST and most UNPROFESSIONAL customer service that I have ever experienced. I was a walk-in for a tattoo with Nate at the beginning of Dec 2021. Absolutely nothing against Nate, he was great. I got 3 small words tattooed on my arm "day old hate". After a few weeks, I noticed that some of the ink from the "y" came off, so I emailed New Tribe to arrange a time for a free touch-up as they said they offered them within 3 months. I was told that Nate only offered free touch-ups on Mondays & Fridays (as these were the only days that he worked) and not on the weekend as they only did free touch-ups on weekdays. I was only in Toronto for the month of December visiting family for the holidays, so at this point, I only had less than 2 weeks to work with. Both remaining Fridays that I was in town were stat holidays, so New Tribe was closed, leaving only one day as an option - Mon Dec 27th. I originally couldn't come on this date due to personal plans that I had with tickets purchased that couldn't be changed, so I asked if Nate could accommodate a touch-up on weekends, or if another artist could do the touch-up instead of Nate since it was such a small touch-up. I didn't think this would be a big deal considering it wasn't a big custom tattoo that Nate designed himself, and after all, I was a walk-in and the original tattoo only took Nate 10 mins to do in the first place, so the touch-up would probably take approx. 30 seconds. I was told they don't accommodate free-touchups on the weekend and that if another artist were to do it, I could come any day, any time, but I would need to pay the minimum of $100+HST again to get the touch-up done. I thought this was absolutely insane and unfair, so with no other option, I switched my plans around so that I could come in on Dec 27th to see Nate. We had a time scheduled for Dec 27th, but then I found out that I came into contact with someone who was COVID positive, so I needed to isolate until the 28th. I sent several emails back and forth with New Tribe to try and work something out, but every suggestion that I made was declined. Not only were they extremely unaccommodating, but I was treated with unprofessionalism and complete disrespect during the entire interaction - at one point they actually told me "to go back to BC where I came from" (see screenshot below). I offered my phone number to speak over the phone several times to make it easier so that written communication wasn't misunderstood, but they never picked up the phone once to give me a call. So, after all of that, I paid $135 for a small 3 word tattoo that now needs a touch-up and New Tribe won't do it, even though they guarantee a free touch-up within 3 months. Sooo I do NOT recommend getting a tattoo done here because if there are any issues at all, get ready to experience the worst customer service and be treated with absolute disrespect and unprofessionalism :)

I've gotten a few piercings there and I'd definitely recommend it. The staff are kind and truly care about the well being of your piercings/tattoos. I've only had piercings done by Sky and Stacy and they're both incredible. The waiting time is short and the piercers are clean, careful, and give good advice/instructions. 10/10 will always choose New Tribe over any other place!

We had a great time visiting Stacy for my 11 year old to get her first ear lobe piercings. I also took the opportunity to get a stacked lobe set. Stacy was great and made my daughter super comfortable with the whole process. All the staff were fantastic, welcoming and made my daughter feel super special for getting her first piercings!

I got my nostrils pierced by Stacy! A few years back she pierced my industrial as well and I have nothing but great things to say. Stacy is wonderful. She's so nice and patient. She is very thorough and you can tell she takes her work and her client's satisfaction very seriously. She made me feel comfortable before and after I was pierced. Everyone at New Tribe was nice and welcoming. My friend and I got pierced together and we both love going to New Tribe, they've been pierced by Stacy a couple times. I've been wanting a tattoo for awhile and had a very small window when this would be possible with only a month's notice, and New Tribe was able to make it happen for me, and with the artist I wanted. I got tattooed by Rat, and would honestly say it was a great first tattoo experience. The custom design I submitted had some issues, but Rat worked with me to accommodate as much of my original design as possible, even when I gave them permission to change it. They took into account the aging process of the tattoo so that I would be happy with it in the long term, while still incorporating my original design. While tattoos can be painful, Rat was great and made it as pain-free as possible; some spots I didn't even feel. It has now been about two weeks and it's healing great. I went back to ask some questions about aftercare and while the shop had the opportunity to try and upsell me a bunch of products, they were honest and gave me cheaper alternatives to products that I could easily get much closer to where I live. Overall, great service, clean, and great for a first tattoo experience! Thanks again Rat, you were awesome :)

All staff was incredibly nice and understanding, overall a very comfy environment to be in. Fae did a fantastic job, albeit I only had my lobes done, there has been virtually no pain or discomfort afterwards. She was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process.

Wicked place! Ive been getting tattoos for a long time, all over the world, and as soon as i walked in to this shop i felt at home (maybe thats just me!). To me this is an "old school" shop, not a fancy new aged clinic style. Awesome service, with friendly banter IMO. They got me in quick (next day). Decent prices. Jake at the front desk is rad. Had a medium/small piece done by Nate. ????????. But i can see how this may not be the place youre looking for, if so, go elsewhere. But it was great for me. Ill be back.

Had a great piercing experience with Stacy and the New Tribe team this past week (Jan 4 2022)! Booking an appointment online was easy, and I was greeted by Jake & was promptly checked in when I arrived. Had helix & lobe pair piercings done in a single sitting. All went smoothly & with less pain than I anticipated thanks to Stacy’s kindness & expertise. She articulated the process/what she was doing at every step, took care with sanitization, and spent time explaining the after care process & healing timelines. Very happy with how my piercings turned out, definitely would visit again should I want additional piercings in the future! Highly recommend New Tribe to anyone.
