So incredibly happy I went here for my most recent tattoo! I walked in for a consultation back in February and brought in a few photos for "inspiration". The guy doing my consultation recommended Evan do my particular tattoo and I'm SO HAPPY he did. Her first available appointment was 3 months out, which seemed like a long time to wait, but I can assure you it was 100% worth the wait. Evan came up with an amazing design for my upper thigh tattoo which she emailed to me about a week before my appointment. I am so in love with her design - she is an incredible artist!! I just had my first session with her about a week and a half ago and my tattoo is healing nicely! I can't wait for my next session with her! I highly recommend Chronic Ink and particularly Evan! So happy :)
Hands down one of he best tattoo shops in the city. The atmosphere is nice and friendly. My artist Amber is talented out of this world and the detail in my tat is remarkable every time i look at it I find new little details. I was half way threw and the pain not only on my arm started to kick in but so did my stomach with hunger pains. Amber provided me with a snack and i was was able to troop it out threw the rest of the tattoo.
I had my first tattoo done at Chronic Ink, and had an amazing experience from the consultation till the day of the session. Ethan was my artist that I got to choose my self and it was a seamless, smooth and professional experience. Won’t go anywhere else other than Chronic Ink!
Got my first ever tattoo with Amber of a water color compass! She was super friendly and does amazing work! Facility has a great vibe and is super clean and hygenic while keeping a cozy welcoming feel. Will definitely be coming back here for more!
Walked In - To my surprise an awesome artist was available. I was greeted graciously by Wendy and she set up my piece with Lydia. Who is an amazing artist, great 15min consultation.. and within a short period of time. I got a fantastic Koi. Her black and grey shading is amazing, very detailed and technically sound! I am very happy and will return to finish my vision.
Zara did my double helix today. She was chill. I wish she told me when she was going to put the jewelry in, and talked me through the process a bit more, she also forgot to clean the back of my ears after. Overall I like the piercing outcome and the two other front desk girls were nice. I recommend the Chronic Ink in Markham
Got my first tattoo with Chronic Ink in Markham back in September. The experience and end product was superb! Had a custom design by Zeke who was friendly and accommodating start to finish. The design arrived a bit late (~1 day), but very happy with it and the edits made based on my suggestions. The shop is open and inviting, everything was done very professionally. Pain-free, enjoyable experience. Thanks, Zeke, for the tattoo. I absolutely love it!
Got a tattoo done by Amber on Jan 28th, I’m beyond happy with how my tattoo turned out. For my first tattoo I believe she did an incredible job. Chronic is very clean, there’s a nice atmosphere. I’d totally recommend this place to friends or anyone looking to get a tattoo done.
I had an amazing experience with all of the members of the tattoo parlour! I was tattooed by Janice, and everyone was very relaxed and fun to be around! They made myself and my support feel very welcomed and at home! I can't wait to be support for my friend when she heads in. I will definitely get more tattoos from them! (Shout out to the apprentice Helen for talking with us and offering a great distraction! Will hit her up for a piece later on!)
great service! got tattooed by ted, and it was my first tattoo so i was quite nervous, but he was very professional and did a great job. on the pricier side, but i understand because they're a well known studio so you can expect higher prices. i give 4 stars only because even though i've touched it up, it's already fading (it's been around a year). it's on my back, so it's not in an area that's exposed to sun like ever, so i'm shocked and kind of disappointed as to why its fading so quickly. update! i was messaged to go back and get a free touch up by ted which was very well done and he gave me some tips to reduce fading. very professional place i’m really happy with the way they treat their customers, always very friendly :)
Got my first piece back in October and I have nothing but nice things to say about my artist Ethan. He was professional, kind, and proficient. Ethan designed a very meaningful tattoo for me and made the process a breeze. Wouldn't hesitate to book him again!
I can't even begin to describe how happy I am to have been tattooed by Christine at the Toronto location. She is so sweet and down to earth, and helped make my first tattoo experience one I'll never forget. She always made sure I was feeling comfortable, and generously offered me lots of snacks. I had a really pleasant time and the tattoo came out amazing! I can't wait to return and get another piece done by her!
Even though the tattoo I got from them couldn't be fixed the way I hope but still deserve a 5 star. The staff was really friendly and the artist was very professional and polite.
Amazing atmosphere and artists. One of the best tattoo shops I’ve ever been to.
I had an appointment today with Vicky. She was amazing, it was my first time and she did an excellent job explaining everything to me and walking me through each step. Her artwork is amazing and I will definitely be going back to her.
Zara did an amazing job with my nose piercing! Thank you :)
I had an absolutely amazing experience getting my first tattoo at Chronic Ink. My artist Zeke was perfect, she knew what I wanted and helped me to customize my tattoo design. Zeke was really good at putting me at ease, and her work is beautiful! I am obsessed with my tattoo, it is exactly what I wanted and I 100% recommend her!
I went to Chronic Ink for a helix piercing a while ago after reading positive reviews. Sure enough, Becky was as amazing as I hoped she would be and my piercing is looking great. I had been reluctant to actually get pierced due to skin sensitivity issues with certain metals, but Becky told me that Chronic Ink had switched to titanium jewellery and that was really reassuring. I had a few questions during the healing process and all were answered with professionalism. I definitely will be going back for more! :)
I'm very happy to have had my very first tattoo session done at Chronic Ink. I'm beyond happy with the outcome of my tattoo and the overall service I received from their staff. It was a super breezy and welcoming process, and their staff made it a very comfortable experience. From emailing inquiries down to finishing my tattoo, my experience was greatly positive and I'd highly recommend Chronic Ink to anyone looking to get tattooed. They have so many amazingly talented artists in various styles, and their locations are very well kept and clean, also aesthetic. I booked my appt at the Downtown location and was tattooed at the Eglinton location. Both were great environments, surroundings & friendly staff. My tattoo was done by a guest artist they were featuring at the time, Mumi, who did an absolutely phenomenal job on my tattoo. She was very gentle and took her time, made sure I was happy with the design and if I was doing well during the process, which I greatly appreciated. I couldn't be more happy and satisfied with everything, and I'll definitely be coming back to Chronic for my future tattoos!
I got my first tattoo here and it was amazing. I was really scared to get ink on my body was nervous too but my artist Jeff made sure I leave the tattoo studio with big smile. Music and people are great... Love you guys!
Got my very first tattoo with TK. He was amazing! He completed this awesome tattoo in 5 worked hours. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I emailed TK multiple times he always responded promptly and catered to how I wanted the tattoo done. Wonderful Studio, Awesome staff and Fantastic Artist. Highly recommend.
Just had a cover up of a crooked finger tattoo done by Allison at the Eglinton location. She did such an amazing job and really took her time to make my tattoo look way better. I initially thought there wasn't much that could be done but Allison really worked some magic. I'm so in love with my new tattoo, I highly recommend going there !
Absolutely love it here. The atmosphere, the people, everything about this place is wonderful. I got my tragus done today and it was incredibly stress free. Vince was awesome. He's super easy to talk to and made the experience wonderful. I'm so happy with my piercing and will definitely be coming back for more piercings in the future!
AMAZING tattoo artists in this place!! I just got my tattoo done on my foot and it turned out EXACTLY how i wished it to end up looking. I got mine done with Karen and she's absolutely amazing. We put a stencil of my design but it honestly didn't turn out nice at all... then she said she will freehand draw it on my foot and it was so much better. They are really talented. Definitely my favourite tattoo place. Will be going back there for any other tattoo i decide to do! I HIGHLY Recommend this tattoo shop! :D
Had a tattoo done by Patrick at the Toronto location about a month ago and I love it! The whole process was great from start to finish. I had an idea of what I wanted and Patrick took that and created a beautiful design for me with a few improvements on my original concept. He was super friendly and professional and really made sure I was happy with the design and placement before we got started. During the tattoo he chatted with me and was great about keeping me distracted from the pain. He gave very clear aftercare instructions and it has healed beautifully! I've gotten a lot of compliments on the work. Thanks for the wonderful experience! I will definitely be back for my next one!
This was my first tattoo, and the experience was very positive. The staff were friendly and professional and my tattoo artist, Amber, was both very professional and extremely talented. I had high expectations, and Amber exceeded them. I would definitely recommend Chronic Ink and Amber to anyone considering body art.
I went to the Yonge and Gerrard location and did a walk-in. I honestly didn't know too much about the artists here but if you explain to them what kind of design or style you are looking for, they know exactly who should take on that task. Gail really took it to the next level with my tattoo. She gave me insightful ideas of where and why I should place tattoos on certain areas on my body. She was also very mindful on my tattoo placement. I told her I wanted it slightly hidden and she looked for my tan lines to know where my t-shirt would hit to make sure the tattoo was covered. I had an incredible experience and felt that Gail really cared about my experience, too. Not only that, her ink was spot on to what I was looking for. I will definitely be going back to her for my next piece in the future!
I've had two piercings done by Becky and have come in another time to replace a piece of jewelry. Becky is absolutely amazing! I've never felt so comfortable with a piercer before. While Becky is fantastic, the rest of the experience at Chronic Ink is not. It's a very high traffic shop. I've had to wait over an hour and a half just to find out if she was even able to do the piercing I wanted. I purchased a plain curved barbell from them when mine fell out. They charge $20 to install their own jewelry, which I've never heard of before. For changing jewelry purchased elsewhere, sure. But anywhere else, free or $5 is the norm for their own jewelry. It was supposed to be internally threaded. When I got home, I went to put it in and found out it was external (I was surprised they would even carry externally threaded jewelry). I mentioned it the next time it was in and it was shrugged off. I personally prefer a bit more of a private experience when I can have a chance to talk to the piercer and am not made to feel like an inconvenience. So though Becky is absolutely amazing, I'd never go back to Chronic Ink.
Just finished a back to back session at Chronic Ink for my first tattoo (Forearm half sleeve) and I couldn’t be more pleased. After spending a long time researching artists/shops, I am very glad I went with Chronic Ink. From the consultation to the end of my second session, these guys were super friendly and professional. I was set up to get work done by the talented Damon Han. Initially it was a 9 month wait to get my appointment but I got VERY lucky that a spot opened up for me within a month and a half. The 9 month wait for Damon is very understandable as he is in high demand as well as their roster of artists. These are award winning artists who I would consider some of the best in the country. My experience with Damon was excellent. From discussing my idea to the actual process of getting the work done. He nailed my concept and the outcome was better than expected. Chronic ink practices the best health and safety procedures. Their shop was really bright, clean and the tools they use are state of the art. For each session they open a brand new sterilized kit. One of the coolest things I experienced was seeing senior artists like Damon take time and mentor apprentices to become better at their craft. You can tell these guys are very “team” oriented and look after their own. Shout out to the front desk staff Ron, Raymond and Chen for being accommodating to the clients. Anyone who is looking to get top notch tattoo work, I highly recommend the Chronic Ink team. I can’t wait to get my tattoo finished and eventually get another piece from them.
This location was great, people were friendly when you first enter the building. Everything is clean and the atmosphere is comfortable. The people make sure you're comfortable every step of the way. The work itself is beautiful, Christine did my tattoo and was super friendly and did amazing work! Things are pricey keep this in mind, but you pay for the quality of work you get, and this place is quality!
(Markham Location) Had my first tattoo done by Zeke! Her work is amazing and I am so pleased. Was kind of nervous for the pain, but she was really good and it was not really painful at all. Very clean area and super friendly artist. All in all would definitely recommend chronic ink!
Went here for a flat piercing and loved it! Great staff, super helpful and professional. Had a speedy piercing with a very friendly artist in a clean and nice environment. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area looking for a great, professional experience.
My artist, Patrick, did an excellent job. I went in for my very first tattoo, and he did a great job of explaining the process. I explained to him what I was thinking of getting and he has come up with a design I just love. I had my first session today and it was a great one. Patrick was patient, explained each step of the process well, and told me what I should expect. The building is comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful
Everyone is very friendly and the front staff are very professional. I had a green tribal tattoo on my arm and had contacted 6 tattoo artists/studios before Chronic Ink requesting a Samurai Stormtrooper tattoo that would incorporate the tribal one. 3 places didn't bother returning my message, 1 contacted me much later (after I made my appointment at Chronic Ink) and the last two said they wouldn't do it. Initially the Chronic Ink rep said they couldn't incorporate it (style was too different) but they recommended that I meet Jeff whom has an illustrative style that matched what I was looking for. When I met Jeff he was game to try to make it work, and lucky for me his artistry and work ethic has surpassed all of my expectations! I adore my tattoo and can't give Jeff enough stars. Thanks so much Jeff!! PS - the cream they sell there (After Inked) is one of the best. Really reduced loose scabs and itching.
Absolutely amazing experience! My boyfriend and I both got watercolour tattoos by Amber and are beyond please. Not only is she gorgeous and personable, but her art is amazing and I'm proud to wear it!
Amazing experience here. Walked in to try and get a tattoo I wanted and was seen immediately by an artist. Within 40 minutes of me walking in I was getting my tattoo started. I highly recommend Lynsey, she was incredible and worked well with me to make my tattoo look amazing. Can't wait to get another piece done here.
Great space, very clean and modern. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I have had 2 tattoos done at Chronic Ink. CJ was my artist for both tattoos and did an amazing job. I will definitely be back.
I got my septum done a while back. The gentleman who work there are very nice and knowledgeable. They have a great deal on piercings almost all the time, I would definitely recommend them.
It was absolutely an amazing experience for my 2 best friends and I. The studio is great and our tattoo artist Gail created an amazing piece of art that we'll carry on our skin forever. Gail is very (VERY) precise and passionate, and you can see it from the tattoos that she has created. I loved the entire experience and I'm definitely going back for more!
My experience at Chronic Ink (midtown) was awesome. Studio was spacious and clean. Staff were great, always communicating to confirm appointments, and extremely welcoming. Mac was awesome! She took my idea for my memorial tattoo and turned it into a work of art. I can't say enough good things about her work. Definitely recommend Chronic Ink.
Got my right hand tattooed here, was not informed there would be a cost for a touch up as their website states "At Chronic Ink Tattoo, we guarantee our tattoos – which means we will touch up our work free of charge to ensure nothing is lost during the healing process." As this is not clarified nor stated on their website, they charge 80-120 to touch up hand or foot tattoos (yikes) - I will honestly be asking my usual artists when I see them next if they can do this for me because I've never paid for a tattoo touchup regardless of where it is located on my body. If you do the work, then guarantee the tattoo regardless of the location.
I had my belly button pierced by Becky and she was amazing! The place lives up to its reviews. There's no obnoxious loud buzzing from the tattoo needles and Becky is insanely experienced. She answered all of the questions my mom and I had for her and talked us through the whole experience. She was really patient and made sure that I liked the position of the marks before she pierced. She also made sure that I was comfortable and okay before and after the piercing. People at the front and the people assisting us as we walked in were kind as well. It's a few days after and It doesn't hurt, there's no pus or bleeding yet and it's healing beautifully. All in all, cool place, I'd totally get more piercings/tattoos here!
I got a tattoo of a boat done by Michael Hsieh and could not be happier! He did amazing artwork on my arm and was a really nice guy, he asked a few times how i was doing throughout the tattoo and i appreciated that, the atmosphere of the shop was really cool and clean. Was an enjoyable experience, i will be going back there for any other tattoos that I get.
I took way to long to get a simple lobe ear piercing done here. The confirmation email said that it should be 20 minutes but it ended up being an hour. I didn't know why it would take so long because I have gotten piercings done before at other places and it was a lot shorter. I booked online and no one was in-line to do it before me. I was told to wait 5 to 10 minutes for sanitization but it ended up being way longer. It was unfortunate because I had someone waiting for me and I felt really bad because I thought it would be done in 20 minutes.
I started off quite anxious as this was my first tattoo but my artist, Ethan, helped by taking me through the process and providing advice on placement, sizing and font. He was incredibly focused and delicate espically for a tattoo on the upper inner arm (where I’ve heard is a sore spot) I barely felt a thing. From my consult to my end product everyone who worked at chronic ink was incredible. I’m excited for my next one!
I have completed one of the two sessions needed for my large dragon tattoo on my thigh with Neil. So far an amazing experience! He went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the final drawing. He listened to any feedback or notes I had on the first drawing, the second drawing, and even did some last minute freehand changes on the day. He's also a great guy, made sure I was comfortable, and was lovely to chat with. Four hours of tattooing just flew by. Although I had to wait 8 months for my first appointment, it was worth it. I'm in love with my tattoo!
What an amazing experience! This is my third tattoo done here and I am never disappointed. My artist this time was Joanna and her talent speaks for itself (see photo). She was very thorough and she ensured that we got the tattoo just right. Even though I am extremely picky and had her redo the font over again and replace the stencil more than once, she kindly persevered and I am so in love with her work. The lines are so crisp and clean. I have received several compliments already. Everyone at Chronic Ink is friendly and knowledgable. These people are the epitome of talent!!
Awesome experience with Louisa! First tattoo and it was an unforgettable experience. Louisa was great and made suggestions along the way with my 8 sessions with her. In the end, I am very pleased with the final product. The staff was very accommodating to my busy schedule. Now that my piece is done I'm fighting the itch to come back for more!
Everything from start to finish was fantastic. The location was perfect and the front desk staff were great. Kevin played a big part in helping me figure out the scale of my tattoo, giving me realistic price points, and walking me through the booking process. Danny O was my artist and he was incredible. He was receptive to my ideas, made me feel at ease about the whole process, and created/executed a design that I love. I'm thrilled with my first tattoo experience and it won't be my last!
I have been following Chronic Ink on Instagram for quite some time now as I have been a fan of their work and team of artists. I came across Ethan's page and fell in love with his designs. I decided to finally pull the trigger and get my first tattoo with Ethan. It was a decision that I definitely do not regret! My overall experience was wonderful. Ethan was professional, very friendly, and I appreciated his great attention to detail. You could tell that he takes great pride in his work as he wanted to ensure the tattoo was perfect. I will certainly come to him again for my next tattoo. I highly recommend Ethan!
Highly recommend getting a tattoo at chronic! The environment was great and the people working are welcoming. Patrick was my artist and he did an amazing job! The tattooing process was smooth and as painless as a tattoo could be and he was a cool dude overall. Big thank you to Patrick, I love the tattoo! I would definitely get another tattoo at chronic ink.
I had a great experience when I got a piercing recently at Chronic Ink. They have a no appointment - walk in only policy, so the first time I went I was unable to be seen. However, the staff was so friendly that I knew I would try again the next Friday evening. I saw Becky and she was so nice and professional. My piercing healed well and I know that It was due to her experience and technique. I have and will continue to recommend Chronic Ink to all my friends. Thank You
About three weeks ago I was lucky to have a helix and two earlobe piercings done by Becky and her amazing apprentice! I was quite nervous and Becky sensed that so she started a conversation which really calmed me down :) The whole process was so professionally done and they really took their time and answered every question I had! Her apprentice was able to pinpoint the exact piercing position and the whole experience was very fast and pretty painless! I want to thank Becky and Chronic Ink Tattoo and I will definitely be coming back!
I got my first tattoo at Chronic Ink and I am very happy. They did such a great quality work. The artists there are very talented and I enjoy the atmosphere. It is a very clean place, you could eat on the floor! I will come back for sure. Thank you again.
This review is for Gale (IG @gale_tattoo) & it's seriously overdue:)))) We've finished up the last session on my full sleeve in May but it still feels like it was just yesterday. Getting a full sleeve (which also happens to be my first tattoo :))) was a wonderful, terrifying, creative and also an amazing learning experience for me. Gale is super talented and is very passionate about what she does. You can totally see it not just in visual quality of her work and how meticulously she draws out every tiny detail, but also in the amount of thought and care she puts into figuring out the best way to bring the idea, that You have in Your head, to life. The layout, composition and a million small details in each piece are not random at all, which I realized after Gale was patient enough to answer about half-a-million of my questions related to design of my tattoo(without throwing anything heavy in the direction of my head:)))) In addition to that she actually answers her emails, was never late for any of the sessions and keeps her work station perfectly clean and sanitized (never realized how much effort goes into that - I'm pretty sure You can do an open heart surgery on that chair without any risk of infection:))). As the first tattoo artist Ive ever worked with, she definitely set the bar very high for anyone to follow:))) Also as far as an experience from studio as a whole - I can only wish to see every business as organized and well operating as Chronic Ink - booking appointments was a breeze, receptionists know exactly what they are doing from following up on appointments to answering random questions about tattoo care :))) but more that anything what amazed me was how welcoming and open the whole studio feels. Everyone is so nice and after spending 5+ days of getting "stabbed artistically" I can definitely say that all that talk about "Chronic Ink family" that You hear from Teddie is not just a gimmick - these guys and gals put their heart into what they do and treat You not just like client but like actual family. All the best to Gale and Chronic Ink and I'll see You all very soon!!! Andrew.
This is a bit of a premature review, but I just HAD to express how happy I was with the (over the phone) experience I had with this location. I was inquiring about my first tattoos, and Janet (the person I was talking to over the phone) was such a pleasant and kind person to speak to. She was very quick to help me get going on planning and get my ideas sorted before heading into the shop. I look forward to working with the Chronic Ink team at this location! UPDATE: since my original review, I’ve gotten 5 tattoos by Kris! She created such a safe and inclusive space and I’m so happy with all the pieces I’ve gotten from her. I’ll definitely be going back!
I must say for my first experience in the world of tattoo's the process, treatment and final result was amazing!!! I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to something I had been craving and interested in for many years. The entire process had my mind at ease, feeling very confident and secure that the artwork I wanted to get done, would get done and would so with the highest amount of care and professionalism! Since this was my first tattoo I wasn't sure what to expect, but now that I have one under my belt I don't think I would want to go anywhere else for more. Tommy did a fantastic job creating my idea into a piece of art. To be honest I can be a very picky individual and very critical at times and I am extremely pleased with what he did from start to finish. The shop at Yonge and Eglinton had a great atmosphere lots of laughter, chatting and joking around, was very clean and hygienic( had a upscale feeling), all artists and employee's were very helpful and passed on as much information as they could so all their customers would be well looked after. Their creativity is second to none, and anyone thinking about getting a tattoo would be lucky to have any of their artists work on them. The 4.5 hours I was sitting in Tommy's chair only felt like half that time, not to mention he only took one small 15 min break for that 4.5 hours. He really went all out for me and I only have respect for him and the entire shop for making my first experience so outstanding!!! I could go on and on and on about these guys, but words only mean so much. I believe actions speak far louder than words! So if your looking for a tat go down and have a chat with the chronic ink team, they will make your tat into a piece of art and make sure you will enjoy the entire process! Their actions speak volumes, and you won't be able to ignore those actions! On that note I shall give a tip of my hat and say, until next time guys!!!! Thank you Sincerely Kevin Sellers
Been tattooed 3 times now, with more booked for the future, by one of their current apprentices, Kris, who does exceptional work. Seeing how she does colour packing, linework, and needle selection better than some pro-tattooers I know just showcases that Chronic Ink is a wonderful and professional shop with a great artist training program. Also, the more experienced staff members who occasionally wander over to watch and give advice are always quite kind and helpful, which is nice to see. Over all, I would definitely recommend Chronic Ink, especially this location, and suggest it is one of the best shops in the city. My only complaint is that some of the staff here like to play videos/music out loud on their phones/tablets despite the radio playing over the shop speakers - this creates an environment with a lot of competing sounds.
This was the best piercing experience I ever had. Becky did a superb job and it doesn't hurt that she is very entertaining as well. Not only was she very thorough in detailing the process but she offered very good advice. I would highly recommend Chronic Ink and while I'm sure all the staff there are great Becky was a real stand out. You should consider yourself lucky if she handles your appointment. If you're trying to decide between Chronic Ink and somewhere else for your appointment stop right now.
I had never been there before today, but as soon as I walked in I felt comfortable! Everyone was really nice and I barely waited for my turn. Becky did my nose piercing and made me feel really comfortable with the process and was super nice! I definitely recommend to anyone interested in a piercing.
Honestly, I had the best experience at Chronic Ink. I was nervous about getting my first tattoo. Christine was patient and answered all of my questions before I had the tattoo. She was flexible when I wanted to make minor adjustments to her design. The actual process was pain free. I was scared that it was going to hurt and it just felt like scratching. After the procedure was done, she put on this special bandage that they use for burns. She told me to keep it on for a week and then peel it off in a week. I did not bleed. I did not scab and I was able to show off the tattoo one week after getting it. She even answered questions after the procedure was done. It was the best experience and Christine is a talented artist. My tattoo is stunning and personal. I have recommended her to all my friends and if/when I get another tattoo, I am definitely coming back to her! Thanks so much Shafily Dupre
I searched for a while to find a place that had a nice selection of fine jewelry and reasonable piercing prices. I settled on Chronic Ink on Yonge St. Although I was super nervous, the staff there was very friendly, and I was blessed to have Gina as my piercer. Her sweet demeanor and lovely British accent helped me relax. She was very straight forward about everything, made me laugh, and was very supportive afterwards. If it is your first piercing or you're nervous, you should ask for her. I am extremely happy with my conch and will go back for future services.
Amazing experience at Chronic Ink! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. Very clean, spacious and busy with many clients! Ian was fantastic with my tragus piercing, it was painless!!! Great recommendations for my conch piercing which will be with Ian hopefully in the next couple of weeks. I was also able to set up a consultation for my first tattoo! Overall experience was 10/10!
A great shop with some amazingly talented artists. My wife got her forearm don't here and I've gotten my tattoo from their location in Markham. All around they are highly professional and take pride in making each tattoo exceptional. I would highly recommend Chronic Ink if you are looking to get some work done.
I had my first (and only) tattoo done here. Once an appointment was made, things went smoothly. My tattoo artist, Jeff, was careful, gentle, and very good. Even my daughter enjoyed her ear-piercing experience. I would recommend this parlour without hesitation!
Got my belly button pierced there about 2 months ago, it was my first ever piercing so I was really nervous. Piercer was very professional and answered the large abundance of questions I had. Piercing itself healed very quickly and without any kind of issue at all. Studio itself was small, but very clean and the price was quite fair. Would go back her again in a heartbeat. Went in a group with my friends getting their 2nd and their rook pierced and both didn't have any issues either. Great experience.
I had an amazing experience at Chronic Ink with CJ! She is so talented, precise, skilled and easy to get along with. I felt like she took the time to tailor the experience and took my concept above and beyond what I had anticipated. I'm really grateful for her artwork and don't think anyone could of done a better job. Aside from the stunning piece that she created for me, I appreciated her precision. The pain was minimal in comparison to some of my other experiences where artists have had a more aggressive handle. A tattoo is a meaningful investment and CJ provided the talent and expertise that I wanted. I am in love with my new piece and it is thanks to this amazing artist. I am absolutely certain that people will ask where I got this draw dropping work done and I will happily direct them to CJ. She will provide you with a tattoo to proudly wear.
Sent an email a few days ago requesting a quote for a tattoo. Included everything , all the details requested, never heard back. Poor poor poooor customer service. You lost a potential customer. See ya!
I came to Chronic Ink for my first tattoo because I had heard of their reputation, and I was not disappointed. The entire staff are super friendly, approachable and accommodating. My artist, Christian, made sure I was comfortable; explained the entire process to me; reviewed my design thoroughly and was so fast at making a touchup appointment! I absolutely would recommend this studio to anyone!
Definitely recommend this shop to those looking to get a tattoo! Tristen recently completed one of my tattoo's and I cannot be any more happier with how it turned out. I've gone to Chronic Ink a couple of times now, and every time was a great experience. Everything from booking, to the actual appointment was top notch and very professional. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can see the passion that the artists have in their craft, and it truly shows in their work. It's easy to tell that they love what they do, and that they will never be satisfied with the status quo, and are always looking for ways to improve. Check out their social media and you'll see what I'm talking about!
So today I got my first tattoo with Jeff and it was an amazing experience! Jeff really paid attention to detail and was very precise in his line work. He did a very clean and professional job. The artist made me feel comfortable and was really efficient in doing the piece. The studio is very clean and professional with a very laid back feeling, giving you instant comfort. I highly recommend coming here!
Only had great experiences at any Chronic Ink location. Alison is an absolute rockstar with her fine lines, both tattoos she designed for me exceeded all of my expectations. Highly recommended! I'll be back.
First timer here. Got my tattoo done at the Yonge & Eglinton location last week. Heard about the place via a friend recommendation. Reputable shop based on their past awards. Had my appointment booked with an Asian artist named Tommy for my Chinese tattoo. Great kid, walked me through the process, answered any questions I had, and made me feel comfortable, while being very professional overall. Took the time to give me his input and help me decide on a good font for my tattoo characters, as well as made sure he was satisfied with the stencil's alignment on my skin before proceeding, rather than rushing through. Tattoo turned out nicely, no complaints. Just waiting for it to heal now. Receptionists quite knowledgeable when I called in for questions about post-procedure care. Would definitely recommend this spot! :)
This has to be one of the best tattoo shops in Canada - maybe the world. Everyone is super talented and if you are looking for a large, original tattoo I can not recommend them enough. I recently got a cabbage flower tattoo and my husband got Godzilla. Livia and Jeff were the artists. Both fantastic. Be prepared to be on a waiting list, and put aside some serious money for this - it won't be cheap, but it'll be worth it.
Got my septum pierced here by Gina. Absolutely in love with it! I received and continue to receive so many compliments! I was hesitant and a little afraid of the pain but she was very professional and super nice. I didn't experience any pain (just a sting ofc) and my septum healed beautifully. Also she gives out really cute stickers! I will forever be a chronic ink fan! I am planning my future sleeve tattoo and will be coming here! Thank you Gina ❤️
5/5 for the artists work for sure! Chronic Ink has some of the best tattoo artists I've seen in Canada, definitely recommend it to anyone. Karen did a fantastic job on my very detailed back tattoo, it was my first tattoo as well and I love everything about it! The only advice I would have for this studio is careful with what you talk about at the front desk while customers are around. Complaining about other customers can make the customers in the seats feel a little uncomfortable and unwelcome. But all in all thanks for the awesome work! I could not imagine getting a tattoo anywhere else!
After 20 years I decided to get my ears pierced for a second time. Just walked in on a Sunday evening and got it done no problem! Zara made the process as painless as possible, was considerate, thorough and friendly. Talked witchy art work and piercing pain levels. Great experience - worth the price for the level of quality!
I had a great experience at Chronic Ink. Everyone is friendly and professional, the space is clean and well laid out, and most importantly my tattoo (by Gale Shapira) looks amazing. I highly recommend it to any and all, whether it's your first tattoo or your fiftieth.
I got a tattoo done by Vicky on Thursday at the Eglinton location and I was very satisfied with my experience! She was patient with me as I decided on the placement and took her time during the actual process. I love how my new ink turned out and would definitely return here in the future.
I came in for a consultation in April after being recommended by a friend and seeing all of their work on Instagram. My consultation went really smoothly and I love how thorough the staff were with their questions, ensuring that I would be matched with the perfect artist. I love that they don't just throw you with whoever is available and they actually pair you with someone who would execute your tattoo perfectly. All of the artists she suggested were amazing but I went with Neil. The sketch he came up with was better than anything I could have imagined and I've been so pleased with how my sleeve is coming along so far. He has always made sure I'm as comfortable as possible and is just wonderful to be around. Customer service from the entire team has been great. Every time I go in for a session, it feels like I'm among friends because of how casual the environment is. That doesn't take away from their professionalism though - the shop is cleaner than the other shops I've seen and you can tell the staff have pride in their workplace. I would recommend Chronic Ink to anyone and everyone!
I just had my first tattoo ever done by Karen today. From start to finish she was calm, sweet and very dedicated to her work. She listened carefully and offered suggestions when we spoke about what I was looking for in my tattoo. The finished product delivered was far beyond my expectations. I will be going back for one more piece of art and will only have Karen do this piece for me once again. She is very talented and I would highly recommend Chronic ink with an enthusiastic 5 stars.
I've now been to Chronic Ink twice in the last six months, and cannot say enough good things about the place. The entire experience is friendly, relaxed and professional. Seriously, the staff are all so accommodating and it feels like you're just spending time with buddies. The multiple awards and certificates on the walls are testament to the standard of work carried out by the tattoo artists here! On both occasions I was seen by Amber, who created two really amazing pieces of unique artwork to my specifications. The entire process of enquiry --> consultation --> inking, was seamless and even as a complete newbie to the whole process, it really felt like I was looked after. The reminder texts to my phone are a nice touch. I'm for sure going to visit again. Amber and the entire team have gone beyond all expectations twice, and have made the entire process easy, relaxed, and professional. Thank you to everyone! If I could rate you as 6 stars, I would!
I got my first tattoo by Christine and it was a phenomenal experience! The front desk staff, the other artists and the facility was great. Christine is not only a wonderful watercolor tattoo artist but she is also very personable and has a great sense of humor. Christine took the time to create the design I wanted. The end results and our interaction throughout my session definitely made my first experience very memorable. I can't wait to come back for more!
I recently got a new tattoo on the Toronto location. My experience with this location was amazing and my artist, Ray Cao definitely went above and beyond my expectations. This studio is very professional. When going up that stairs, you can already smell how clean the studio is. I never had any concerns with this location. They make sure their clients are well educated on the aftercare which is good. The environment is pleasing and their staff always make people feel welcoming. I would definitely recommend the Toronto location!
Had my first tattoo done here. The great vibes in this shop where evident from the moment I stepped through the door. Livia Tsang took the idea I had given her for my tattoo a few weeks earlier and with her amazing talent turned it into exactly what I was envisioning. It has since healed up perfectly and I love it. Thanks again to Livia and the rest of the staff for making this first experience a memorable one. I'm sure it won't be the last and I would not hesitate recommending Chronic Ink to anyone.
Got tattooed by Ryan back in February, and he is absolutely fantastic. I happened to be running late on the day and everyone was super cool with it when I did arrive at the shop. Ryan did a stellar job on the custom tattoo which he drew up for me. Every time I look at it, I love it. Was my first experience w/ chronic ink & won't be my last.
I had my first session with Evan and will be finishing up the piece with one more session. The whole experience has been fantastic, Evan is amazing at what she does, incredibly talented and I don't think the tattoo could get any better, her designs are perfection. The customer service was also great, people checking to see if I needed some water or a quick bite to keep going. Special shout out to Wendy for being awesome and for helping to distract me from the pain for a bit, and for her great customer care in looking after me.
I booked an appointment with Evey via email after speaking with them on Instagram! I was able to claim one of their flash pieces and the booking process was simple and easy! The shop was easy to find despite construction, and the folks at the front desk were super friendly and followed the COVID protocols set in place, which was greatly appreciated???? the shop overall was quiet and clean. Evey was a pleasure to be tattooed by and I would absolutely love to return to this location! My tattoo looks great, and overall my experience was a positive one!! ????????
Clean, friendly, and comfortable. Super talented. Always wanted a tattoo but held off for many years cause it just had to be perfect. So many other places were intimidating. Chronic Ink made my experience a welcomed one; enjoyable to say the least. With knowledgable artists to help throughout the process, my first inking was incredibly positive. Tristen's attention to detail was absolutely amazing. I recently got a larger script piece with Karen, a total perfectionist and has an eye for style. Absolutely LOVE all my tattoos from Chronic!!!
Gail is number one the best tattoo artist. Her designs are always spot on, she's kind and helpful and her tattoos rock. She took the time to design my tat just the way I liked, she was patient and helpful all through the tattooing process. If you need a sick tat get it from her!!
I started getting tattoos at Chronic Ink about five years ago, and had never had a tattoo before that. The team including the artist put in a lot of time to make sure I had the best piece of artwork. I could not be happier with the quality, style, and detail of my tattoo (I get compliments all the time). They have been very accommodating to my schedule and my needs in booking appointments as the piece took many different sessions over a long period of time. I am planning my next tattoo, and I would not chose any other tattoo shop than Chronic Ink, and I highly recommend this shop to everyone.
My first tattoo ever. Patrick was my tattoo artist. Very professional but still easy-going atmosphere. He went above and beyond to make me comfortable and ensure I was pleased with the design before we started. I love my tattoo and so does everyone else! Would highly recommend.
I recently have gotten two pieces from Gale, one of a snake with a large chrysanthemum (which she incorporated into my already existing tattoos) and one of a reaper. Gale was super professional and always made sure that I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the whole process. One of the best artist's Ive seen and pays SO MUCH attention to detail to make sure everything turns out perfectly. Will definitely be going back to her for future pieces!
I had been mulling over getting a tattoo for about 2 years but just could not decide on a style or design that I thought I would be truly happy with putting on my body permanently. I had heard and read a lot of good reviews on Chronic Ink so I began to follow them and a few of their artists on Instagram with the intention that perhaps I would see something I liked and finally follow through with getting my first tattoo. In late October of this year, a piece finally came across my feed that I could not get out of my head that was up for grabs. That evening I messaged the artist who posted the piece (Ethan) and asked if it was still available, and to my surprise, it still was! I took this as a sign that it was finally time to book my first tattoo! The booking process was seamless and I had an appointment booked approximately a month after my initial contact with Ethan. When I arrived for my appointment, all the staff were helpful and friendly. They were quick to greet me and advised me to make myself comfortable while Ethan set up his station. The shop was very clean and inviting. Great first impression! This being my first experience with getting a tattoo, I was pretty nervous going into it, but Ethan made the experience a breeze and my nerves subsided quickly! He was super friendly and it was easy to tell that he is a true professional and takes great pride in his work. His passion for tattooing was palpable! When we finished he made sure to explain the proper aftercare procedures and let me know what I should and shouldn't do to make sure my tattoo heals properly and asked me if I had any other questions. They also provide you with a 'quick tip' pamphlet when you leave to ensure you do all you can to keep your tattoo looking as good as possible. This is perfect for anyone who is the new kid on the block when it comes to getting a tattoo :) Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Chronic Ink! I am super happy with the way my tattoo turned out! This may have been my first experience but I can confidently say it will not be my last. Thank you Chronic Ink!!!!
I've had my eye on this place for a long time and when I went in for my tattoo, it was better than I could have imagined. The staff were gracious and accommodating, considering I was essentially a walk-in. My artist, Patrick, was a great person and did a fabulous job on my tattoo. I was a bit nervous since it was my first tattoo but he made me feel really comfortable and relaxed throughout the process. I am so thrilled with the incredible talent and professionalism at this studio. I'll be back in the future for sure!
I saw Becky to get a nipple and helix piercing, and had the best experience I have ever had getting any work done. Becky was great at making me feel at home, and kept me smiling the whole time even while the piercing was actually happening. When marking where the piercing was going she took me to a mirror to see where it was going to be, even marking out some different options for me to pick from. I will definitely come back for any of my piercing needs. Thank you again Becky for the great work, you are awesome!!
Hands down THE MOST PROFESSIONAL and kind staff. Incredible artists, even the apprentices are amazing! Place is clean, welcoming and chill af. Becky is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, she knows piercings better than anyone I've ever met. Highly recommended for piercings or tattoos! There's a reason they keep winning awards at the big shows, year after year after year.
For me, getting a tattoo was something that required some research. After all, it's going to be on me for the rest of my life! I wanted to make sure it was done at a place I felt comfortable. Taking some feedback from my peers, I checked out the places they got their tattoos at but didn't work out. I came across Chronic ink after a couple of recommendations and knew it was the one. Clean, welcoming, and relaxed. It didn't have a sketchy or dirty feel, and my artist, Marilyn, took time to sanitize everything in front of me and explained the process. It was a little nerve racking! An hour later, I walk out with a tattoo that exceeded my expectations, and the service was fantastic! I highly recommend anyone thinking about a tattoo to take the time to give them a call. Their artists and service are A+++!
Been to the studio 3 times now and every time I've had a lovely experience. The staff and artists are super pleasant and the overall atmosphere is incredibly positive. I've worked with Kris 3 times now, and am so happy with all 3 tattoos I have by her. Would definitely recommend both the shop, and especially Kris if you're looking to have a super positive and pleasant tattooing experience by an incredibly talented artist :)
The staff here are very pleasant. I had Jeff as my tattoo artist. We went through my design and made adjustments as needed. He was very accommodating and the end result was nothing short of amazing. You can tell all of the artists really put a lot into their work. Overall, very satisfied and will go back again at some point.
Second time going to Chronic Ink and it has been a great experience both times! I went to the Square One location and was matched with Christian. He was very professional, but had a lovable personality which made it a very enjoyable experience. The calm and welcoming atmosphere made it very approachable and Christian catered to what I wanted, but also gave his opinion to make it best of both worlds! 100% would go again!
Called in for a walk in and was booked with Patrick! He did a very small script tattoo on my wrist and did a fantastic job. Was very friendly and informative, would definitely recommend! **tattoo is still healing in this photo**
I have been here twice to get piercings. Three helix and one forward helix. Both times, I had to call ahead before going because the piercer isn't always scheduled to work. The piercer was patient, knowledgeable and helped me find the jewellery I was looking for. He also helped me find alternative options when the industrial piercing I wanted wasn't going to work out aesthetically. The room where the piercing work is done is small, sterile and brightly lit. The piercer was meticulous and careful in his work. The end result was fantastic. I plan to go back a third time because my ears don't have enough holes yet.
**EDIT: Excellent follow up from shop and looking forward to bringing my niece in once they open up again. Justin has been fantastic with communication and looking forward to being able to book an appointment once they are able to reopen! Disappointing experience with miscommunication through the Chronic Ink website, reception and in person. Not sure if the brand is franchised or corporate stores but they need to set clearer guidelines for age limits & waivers on piercings. My 15-yo niece was gifted a navel piercing for her birthday and did a ton of research and calling to ensure she found a reputable place that would allow her parent/guardian to sign for her and when we arrived for her appointment, we were turned away. She had a clear discussion when booking the appointment over the phone about her age and was assured it would be fine. Maybe not a big deal to most but this was crushing for her. The staff member at reception did do their best to offer free after-care if we wanted to come back when she was 16 but my niece had her heart set on it being that day.
it was indeed an unique experience for me personally, as a first timer (both at ChronicInk and getting a tattoo). The staff there were friendly and professional, patience with my questions. I am very happy with the work done by Mackenzie: she's approachable, takes time to answer my questions regarding care and just generally about tattoo, as I am quite curious about the process of this art form. The place gives out a good vibe; and I enjoyed walking around and taking in the distinctive art work on the walls by various artists working here. I'd definitely recommend this establishment to others interested in tattoo. Perhaps one day I'd gather up the courage to get another one as well. Thank you.
Currently in the process of getting my half sleeve with Livia. This is my third experience with a tattoo shop (I've had one other tattoo and a piercing done at different places) this is the first time where the whole vibe of the shop is friendly and welcoming. All the artists are great to talk to and none of the ones I met were pretentious at all. One thing I enjoyed was being close to all the other artists and people getting work done and we were all able to converse together. It made the 3 hours I spent on the chair go by a lot quicker and way more enjoyable. Although, my tattoo is currently unfinished and healing others have noted the quality in the line work, colours, and shading. Also a shout out to the front desk for being great as well, I had a quick question shortly after I left and I called and they were more than happy to answer. Would highly recommend Chronic Ink to anyone I know! Do not let the wait times hold you back from going here it is well worth it for the quality and atmosphere.
Just got a wolf and a bluejay piece half sleeve done with george. I wont lie I was a little hesitant but when I seen his work I knew it was quality and then he finished my half sleeve in one session while it still looked amazing on a darker skin tone, this location was very comfortable and a clean environment. I would recommend anyone to get their realism done with george!
Amazing experience at the Markham location yesterday with Karen. The front desk is also very friendly. I waited a long 7 months to get appointment with Karen and I can say that it was well worth it! Karen is amazingly talented and has the gentlest touch. Very pleased with the service I received here and very happy that I decided to wait the 7 months. I am in love with the finished product and I've been receiving endless compliments. If you are thinking about getting a tattoo I absolutely recommend seeing Karen or the other talented artists at chronic ink. Hurry and book quick because she has a pretty long wait list! This shop is THE BEST in Toronto. I definitely see myself returning soon to get more work done!
Christian is an amazing artist. His artistic skills is incredible and his attention to detail is amazing stunning. His vibe was calm and relaxed which made me comfortable during my session. If you are looking for a geisha styled tattoo then please consider going to Christian.
Got my tattoo done in early October, so this review is well overdue. Despite rescheduling and then going back to my original appointment they were quick to answer and very accommodating to me. Ethan did my shoulder piece and I literally fell asleep on the table (sorry Ethan I know I shouldn't have lol), even though I have a damaged rotator cuff in a section where he tattooed. He was so gentle and I have two other tattoos from a different artist (not at chronic ink) that had me sweating and shaking from how painful they were. The healing was easy and the tattoo looks amazing, I get compliments on it constantly. It is a very timeless piece that will last for a very long time, that I am sure of it. I also got some peircing advice on a peircing I was having issues with while I was there. Overall, very professional staff, very skilled employees and a warm welcoming environment. I will be coming back for other pieces in the future!
I had a wonderful experience with Jay! They designed an absolutely gorgeous tattoo and were very patient with me throughout the entire process. Jay was very professional and super great to talk to. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I definitely would recommend them to anyone getting a tattoo!
Christine was my artist and she is awesome! From the start of my consultation to the end of my experience, Christine and the staff at Chronic Ink made every moment tailored to me and my piece. I highly recommend Chronic Ink Tattoo to anyone wanting a professional, safe and experienced individual behind their work.
well what to say...only that it was an AWESOME experience! this was my first professional piercing on top of it all i went there solo so i was pretty anxious. filled the form, my piercer Becky was so lovely and patient and very personable. She answered all my questions, was very informative and quick with the needle. i got my navel done on Friday so nearing the 4 day mark, no crusts or pus or blood or even swelling, a slight bruising is all although that's just how my body reacted to it hahaha its healing beautifully and am very happy with it. One thing i will note about Becky was that she took the shape of my body in consideration of the placement and asked for my thoughts on it, which, having witnessed a few piercings done already was the best thing i could ever ask for someone making a permanent mark on my body. Everyone else i talked to was lovely, the receptionist was real sweet. The whole establishment was real clean and very inviting. Will definitely return to chronic Ink for my future piercings and will ask for Becky. :)
This is an edit to my previous 2 star review. I had originally gone in to get a very small tattoo behind my ear to indicate which ear I'm deaf in as my friends often forget and now I don't have to remind them. I figured while I was in I'd get another simple tattoo I have retouched as the colours fade over time. When I initially went in, I had been given 2 quotes for my tattoos that I misunderstood to be hourly rates. They added up to a price that I felt was unfair, which was the major motivator behind my previous review. Since then, a member of the Chronic Ink team reached out to me and said there had been a misunderstanding that lead that lead to the price being calculated as 2 separate tattoo visits, instead of 1 visit using the same supplies. As such, he helped process a partial refund bringing the total cost down to something that felt much more reasonable. He also offered me a discount should I choose to return for another tattoo in the future. The manner in which this was handled was very professional, and made me feel that I should adjust this review to be a more positive one as this issue could simply have been ignored. I will likely return to the shop in the future with a fresh slate and I would say I can recommend this place to others as they certainly do care about the experience their customers have.
This was my first tattoo experience, and I must say, it was amazing. My tattoo is simple: my daughters' names, in beautiful, flowing script on my left inside forearm, but the professionalism and pre-tattoo help I received was above-and-beyond. The tattoo artist who worked on my piece was extremely nice, very helpful, and a pleasure to talk to. If I ever decide to get another tattoo (and I think I will - they really are addictive!), I will 100% return to Chronic Ink.
I got my ears pierced at Chronic Ink on Sept 2, 2018. I got my second lobes and a helix done. I was very pleased with service I received at this establishment. I was confident in my piercers (Ian) knowledge and abilities by the way he answered my questions and provided information. The shop is incredibly clean and unlike many other tattoo shops, i was not intimidated by the atmosphere. After everything, including the service, jewelry and aftercare my total was almost $300. Although the service was amazing, I do believe they are very over priced. Since I am only 13, I was extremely nervous to get these piercings but I wanted them so badly. I am glad I went to Chronic Ink because they made my experience great. The staff was kind and informative. And I once again have to commend the cleanliness of the establishment. Chronic Ink is excellent but make sure you in the position to spend a good chunk money
Another happy customer thanks to TK! TK is a guest artist from South Korea. He is an incredible artist that gave me exactly what I asked. Although his english is not great we communicated through a google translator. If you are looking for realism book asap as you don’t want to miss TK! Thank you TK and a big thank you to Chronic Ink for bringing incredible artists like TK in for customers that want to invest in great ink. All in all this piece was approximately 6 hours.
I came to this location from London, Ontario as Toronto was the one place where I could get the air brush/watercolour technique done properly and I have to say, Mac's work is the "stuff of legends". She took the time to truly get the design I wanted, and the style I craved. A week after, and with some healing, I'm in love with it a little more every day. The location was convenient and everyone was very friendly and professional. If I ever wanted another tattoo I wouldn't think twice about going back to Chronic Ink and Mac. She's really a wizard with the needle. Thank you!
Got my very first large piece done by Patrick P and I'm very satisfied with it. Color and shading were done beautifully. Flexible scheduling was a plus. Second two small pieces by Katie were done just as brilliantly. Done very quickly and very well. Will definitely come back again for future tattoos.
I have gotten three tattoos here over the last few years. The shop is spotless, the artists are some of the most talented in the country, the management runs smoothly. I've had a couple of mix ups with the shop in the past. Both times that these more unfortunate things happened I feel like the team handled it very well. I think it speaks volumes more that they are not only able to operate with such high demand for their services, but able to gracefully handle any issues as well. Thanks so much Chronic team, I will continue to recommend you guys to everyone who will listen. Thank you to Zeke/November/Adela for their amazing art.
Got a rook and helix piercing from Vee. Super great expierence, welcoming atmosphere and kind staff. Highly recommend
I am so incredibly happy with the service I got from Courtney L this week. I got a cartilage piercing at another tattoo place and they did a bad job and put in the wrong size post which made my ear irritated. Courtney took such amazing care of my and switched up my post, explained exactly why it wasn't healing, what to expect, how to really care for it and even wants to see my in a few weeks so she can change the post and make sure it is healing properly. This was all done without cost, hesitation or expectation. Because we were so happy with the level of care and professionalism, my daughter got the same piercing and was taking care of amazingly by Courtney. Her level of service and care for her job should be the standard across the board. Thanks Courtney and see you in a few weeks for our follow-up with you!!
After a smooth and easy consultation, I saw CJ for a tattoo of her beautiful peonies that she so often does. She was very kind, professional and put SO much care and time into my session. She never rushed, frequently asked how I was, suggested ways to make the tattoo better for me, etc. I would absolutely recommend this tattoo shop to anyone who's looking for artists who put great effort and care into their work. You won't be disappointed!
I've been to Chronic about 3 times now, the first two were for fixing my nose piercing and today for getting my rook pierced. Becky is amazing as usual, she's a really nice person and goes over everything thoroughly so you understand. She's also really good at making sure the piercing is the best it can be for you. I highly would recommend here
Completely professional experience, from booking to followup reminders of the appointment. Christine was a wonderful artist who did an amazing job giving me exactly the tattoo I wanted.
Ian has pierced my helix and conch and he was absolutely awesome with someone getting cartalige done for the first time. The shop itself is awesome and the only APP shop in Ontario (along with the other Chronic Ink locations). I've also been to the downtown shop a couple times and it's equally as awesome. If you're getting pierced this is where you want to go.
Amazing communication, even in the middle of a pandemic. Very accommodating, and amazing customer service. All of my friends have received tattoos from here, and I will 100% be recommending this place.
I recently got a new tattoo done by Ray. It is absolutely incredible!! It looks better in reality then it did in my imagination. He is an amazing artist. I will definitely be scheduling my next tattoo with him! On the same trip I also had my nose pierced and Becky was so awesome! She took the time to explain everything before hand and then during the process she told me what to expect just before it happened. She completely put me at ease. The whole experience from my initial consult to the end result has been absolutely fabulous. I can't recommend them enough!!
The most amazing tattoo parlour I've ever been in. The art work of the different tattoo artists lined the walls of their stations, with a comfortable waiting area for the customers. It was a very professional place with the most talented artists I've ever seen. Every artist has a specific style to give you the range of talent in the place. The artist I dealt with was awesome and fun to chat with. She also put on a "second skin" to help my tattoo heal, which was super cool and definitely worked to speed healing. I've already recommended this tattoo place to 3 people for their next tattoos.
Got my first tattoo there and I am extremely pleased with the experience. I came in for a consultation at the end of August, and the front desk lady was very polite and took detailed notes of what I wanted before going to talk to the artist. They made my tattoo appointment for the middle of September and I got to come in about 4 days before to sit down with the artist and review the sketch he did for the piece so I could approve it/have him change details I didn't like. The studio is very clean, the staff is professional and the artists are all so talented. Jeff did an amazing job turning my idea into an amazing design. Would DEFINITELY reccomand this place.
Very disappointed with the mask services Chronic Ink provides. I basically got a product that I did not request, poor customer service. I emailed the company for a possible return/refund/something and no answer. I want to share this so the owner/manager pays attention to customer satisfaction. I was patience with it willing to work something out as a basic unwanted transaction but instead I got no answer at all, In addition this company took my money for the "cause" and left me with a product I never asked for.
Got my septum pierced here, there was a bit of a wait but the experience was great ????????
I had a great experience getting my tattoo done by Ethan at the Chronic Ink shop at Englinton. Super professional and amazing tattoo artist. Really pays attention to detail and makes sure everything is perfect. Would highly recommend! Especially if it’s your first tattoo.
I love this place. I went there on Saturday Jan 21. I got my nose pierced by Vince, who was AWESOME!!! He was done in no time and was painless. Would definitely be going back for another one. Then I got my Tattoo done by Christine. She will be my artist from now on. She understood what I wanted & very gentle hand. I ❤ Chronic Ink!!!!!
I went to the new location at Young and Gerrard. This was by far my most pleasant experience getting a tattoo. My artist was Gail and she was not only attentive to what I wanted the end tattoo to look like but she was also both gentle and detailed. I have already recommended Chronic to friends who are looking to get a new tattoo. I will definitely be coming back here for my next one
Karen is an amazing artist I simply love her work and speed! She makes my tattoos come to life thank you for the amazing work! I love all three of my Tattoos! She is always open and honest and gives you awesome suggestions to ensure you are happy with your tattoo before starting. I appreciate her knowledge and care to ensure you are ok and comfortable she is so professional and simply fantastic.
Booked with David at the Yonge Street location for my first tattoo. Amazing experience with everyone at Chronic Ink! They're very good about following up and reminding you of your appointment, and are very professional and organized. David did an amazing job with the sketch and created a design that was exactly what I was looking for. I was so happy with everything and am already thinking about my next ink! I will definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone!
My Tattoo artist was Christine Pexin, she was wonderful, and very talented. I had a great experience overall, and would recommend this studio and artist to everyone.
Chronic Ink tattoo is beyond amazing. Every staff member there was very polite and kind. The lay out of their shop is so cool very modern. My tattoo artist was Ray and he was AMAZING. Ray was super kind and easy to talk to. His realism work is unbelievable. My tattoo is the most beautiful piece of art work and by far the best tattoo I have on my body and I still have a second sit for it! I would highly recommend Chronic Ink Tattoos to anyone...I drove from Sarnia just to get my work done there and it was 100% worth every minute. Thank you Chronic Ink I look forward to my second visit!
I had my first tattoo appointment at the Eglinton location. I had the pleasure of working with Nina. First and foremost I was extremely nervous because it was my first tattoo, however as soon as I entered the location the staff was extremely friendly and chill the environment was amazing with really great energy. Nina was so kind and listened to every suggestion and her work was so clean. Absolutely looking forward to going back for more tattoos. Glad this was my first tattoo experience.
Dropped in with my girl to get a nose piercing and first tattoo, respectively. Each of our artists were warm and friendly, and full of information. No pressure, a really relaxed vibe and had a great time. A wee bit pricey for me but I got a rose gold 14k piercing to ensure I would have 0 issues. No infections or anything of the sort, and the procedure was explained to me in detail as it was done! If I do my other side, I'd definitely go back here.
I was actually a walk in, and I had called them a day earlier to ask if I could book an appointment with them. The girl on the phone told me that the artists that were comfortable doing my design were all fully booked up however, I could call the day after to see if one of them had a downtime to do my tattoo quickly. So I called the day after and they told me I could come in. My artist was Christine, and she was actually off but was aware that I was a walk in, and quickly came back to the shop to do it for me. Super friendly and nice, and my design was done quickly but almost perfectly. Considering that my design were circles, it is hard to have them perfectly rounded but I have no complaints about the job she did. Fantastic service and a great artist.
My tattoo artist was Jeff and I was really really happy with my experience. I got my first tattoo and was pretty nervous, but Jeff was very attentive and sensitive. I think he is a very talented artist and he paid a lot of attention to detail. I guess you could call him a pefectionist. He made sure everything looked like I wanted it to and was very accurate. He took a lot of time to talk to me and make sure I was okay with everything and also for actually making the tattoo. Also, everybody at Chronic Ink was very approachable, polite and not snobby at all :) I genuinely recommend Chronic Ink and Jeff in particular!
I started a blackout piece on my right arm in May of 2017. My artist was Sarb. He told me that the tattoo needed two weeks in between in each session to heal. I was told this would take 6 sessions to complete and was quoted at $900 per session. In total I paid over $4000 for half sleeve. There were multiple occasions where Sarb cancelled my appointments on the day of because he was up all night tattooing other artists from the shop or helping setup the new store. I also said I wanted all my appointments at the Markham location and he told me to go to the Gerrard location for my final sessions. All my sessions were finally completed by October.. six months after my first session. By the end of my tattoo I was left with two different shades of black, and clear line of separation through the black. I went to chronic ink despite their extremely high price point because I was sure it meant I was going to be happy with my tattoo. A year later I'm regretting spending so much with an artist who didn't really treat me well. The reason I'm giving a two star review instead of one is because everyone else I dealt with at chronic ink was very kind, the shop is very clean and their other artists seem very good at what they do. I would reccomend looking at other shops before you book anything with chronic ink because there are many great artists around the Toronto area for a much better price.
My artist and I didn't converse all too much and that was fine by me! I felt as though Gale read the room well and knew I was pretty nervous and wanted to keep to myself a bit more than most. And I mean... the end result was absolutely everything I could've ever asked for. I can't wait to go back to Gale (@bloodwraith_)! And after my first experience with her, I don't think I'll ever stop wanting more tattoos. :') (Below is another raving review by me lol Darker skinned lads n babs, Get That Tat!! ????)
Came to chronic ink for my very first tattoo, the whole process of making the appointment over the phone was very welcoming and friendly. Got set up with an artist named ronin who was awesome! Ronin drew up a sketch and it was exactly what I wanted, the tattoo looks great!
I recently got a watercolor rib tattoo from Patrick. He was very patient with me as I modified the design several times, he walked me through each step, and he was just genuinely very nice to talk to. The shop looks like an artist's haven - everybody working there was really nice and attentive. They even made me some tea when it got a little chilly. Very awesome experience. I'd definitely recommend this shop and personally want to thank Patrick for his work, I love my new tat! Keep up the great work guys.
Got my first tattoo here by the lovely Alison! Even though it was my first tattoo, she made the experience calm and relaxing. Also, she did such an outstanding job with my Princess Mononoke tattoo! She literally needs an award for the quality of her work. If you're wanting any Pop Culture type of tattoo. She's the one you NEED to book with!
This was my second time getting a piercing here. The woman who did my first one was pretty quiet and didn't seem to make much effort to help me with my questions and make sure I felt comfortable, however I went back in today to get an eyebrow piercing and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. I cannot remember what my piercers name was but I think it started with a B, she has blue hair and I know she just recently started working there. She helped me with all questions I had and was very accommodating. In the end it was a much a better experience and I'm very glad I chose to go there,. It seems a little overpriced compared to other places (not ridiculously overpriced though) but the piercings they sell are great quality, other places have sold me jewellery that have caused me to have allergic reactions, definitely worth spending a little extra!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Was very patient with my friend and I (it was her first tattoo). Great work, and reasonable price! Great experience and I'll definitely be back.
This is an amazing place to get your tattoos done at! I highly recommend going here. Just yesterday I went for my first ever tattoo appointment and everything leading up to it was so smooth as they were very patient and friendly while booking my appointment. They answered all of my many questions and were very accommodating towards what I had in mind for my tattoos. When I walked into the studio there were proper procedures in place for COVID and everything looked very clean and safe. I had Jeff as my tattoo artist and he was very kind and helpful in making me comfortable and making sure the placements and designs were exactly what I wanted. The whole experience was very enjoyable and in the future I will definitely only go here for my tattoos!
First tattoo ever today by Zeke at Markham location. This was a memorial tattoo to honour my husband on the one year anniversary of his death and Zeke opened up her already super booked schedule to make room for me on the day I wanted which I appreciated so much. I had a design in mind and Zeke made it even better than I expected. Got a draft design a week before to approve or play with to get it just right. Great staff, friendly. Open, super clean environment , would recommend Chronic Ink anytime !!!!
I went to Chronic Ink for both of the tattoos that I have. From the moment I called them, they were exceptionally personable, knowledgeable and professional. They were very accommodating with rescheduling and genuinely invested in my experience. For both of my tattoos, I worked with Ethan who is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Can't wait to come back for my third and work with him again!
Chronic Ink has such a unique and welcoming atmosphere that makes me feel at home. Gail has done two pieces for me, and I am COMPLETELY in love with them. This woman has gone absolutely above and beyond her job description with me. She has worked past hours to ensure my complete happiness with my tattoos. She works with my ideas, and turns just thoughts in my head, into beautiful work that will last me a lifetime of memories. Her work ethic and personality is unlike any other. This little review can’t explain how much trust & love I have for Gail and her work, but I sure hope it gets the message across. Will be coming back soon !
Best experience for a first time tattoo! Alison was able to work with my concepts and created a beautiful piece of body art that I'll treasure for the rest of my life. I was apprehensive about pain levels, colors, placement etc., but Alison was able to put me at ease, and was extremely helpful and professional throughout the whole process. Definitely coming back for more!
My tattoo experience with Ted Kim was really amazing. Ted works steadily and efficiently, but doesn't rush. He's very professional, and takes great pride in his work. Ted spent the last hour of my 6.5 hour sitting going over every last detail until he was satisfied that my tattoo was complete. It had gotten late, everyone else was finished for the day, the studio was pretty much closed, and Ted was still working! Through my consultation with Howard, and then Ted, I got exactly the tattoo I wanted. The staff at the Eglinton location was also really great, periodically checking in on me with offers of tea or coffee. Chronic Ink is a very professional outfit, and in my opinion has earned the reputation as the best tattoo studio in Toronto.
First tattoo; outstanding experience. Patrick was an incredible artist. Paid thoughtful attention to my input into the design. The session itself was really enjoyable; including fascinating podcasts on Japanese history, embellished by Patrick's personal knowledge of the subject. Most importantly, the tattoo was a beautifully crafted cherry blossom watercolour; everything I had hoped for. My thanks to Patrick and the staff at Chronic Ink, a professional team who I highly recommend.
Recently had my latest tattoo done at Chronic Ink by Kevin and I have to say I absolutely love it. Not only did Kevin make sure to have the perfect design drawn up for me but he was extremely professional. Every time I have dealt with Chronic Ink I can say without a doubt that they are number one when it comes to customer satisfaction. They make the customer feel at ease and most of all welcomed. Job well done at running such an amazing shop. I look forward to getting more work done and a big thank you once again to Kevin for executing the tattoo that I wanted perfectly. Cheers! Anna
Yesterday was my second tattoo appointment at Chronic Ink and it was definitely like no other. The artist who did my work, Christine Pexin, has so much talent and such a big heart. Before proceeding to the tattoo, she asked me how my first experience was and whether it hurt. I told her that it hurts the most for me when the artist rubs the ink and so during my tattoo, she made sure not to rub very often and not at all aggressively. She consistently asked me how I was feeling and we even had great conversation. She also offered me chocolate and water after the session which was a major bonus. Overall, she made sure my tattoo experience was nothing less than amazing and even exceeded expectations. I can't wait to get more pieces done by her!
When you see that color palette, you know what it means. I ADORE THIS PLACE!???? Employees are so nice and welcomes you warmly. I got my very first ear piercing here and hallelujah ???????? I love it so much. Am thinking to get a tattoo next ????
By far the best tattoo shop I have been too so far. The shop is very clean and the staff very friendly and informative. I got my fourth tattoo here and my first color tattoo, which I had been nervous about. Christine who was the artist, was wonderful in explaining how the color would appear on my body, and in the design of my tattoo. She made every moment that I was there comfortable and her work is very well done. I love my tattoo!
Absolutely terrible work done by the artist I was provided even after I requested a new artist with realism style. The image you see with colour on white skin was the image I found and used for inspiration. My artist told me that my skin is too dark for yellow which is understandable so we had to improvise the tattoo to include certain details. The other image with just the butterflies is how my tattoo looked after my FIRST session which was all that was needed but I was completely taken back by how sloppy some of the detail work was and requested that they fix it. I went back in the very next day for the touch ups that you see in the last image which included adding butterflies and fixing other small details. Even after this I was still very disappointed with my tattoo. After spending more than $700 on my tattoo and 2 days of my time, I asked for a different artist and a way to fix my tattoo. Ultimately, Chronic Ink told me that they could pay for my LASER TATTOO REMOVAL and that I would have to pay another artist to fix the tattoo… I did not want to continue working with them so now I have this lame tattoo on my back that I have to deal with forever.
incredible work!! Have been planning this for several years and wanted the best artist for realism and couldn't be happier!! Janice did an incredible job and was helpful and did her best to make me comfortable for my first tattoo. Super impressed!
I got my ears pierced at this shop for the first time and I can’t believe how cool, clean and professional the place is. Zara the piercer was amazing! She did such a great job and I barely felt anything during the process. I can’t wait to get my tattoo at this shop soon!
If I could have given this place more than 5 stars I would have! This place is amazing! After deciding on my first tattoo I asked around and this was the first shop on everyone’s lips. My artist was Christine who works at both the Markham and the Toronto locations. I ended up having my consult in Markham and actually getting the tattoo in Toronto and I can assure you that both locations were completely spotless and professional. Customer service was amazing from the day I called to inquire about a consult to the moment I left the building after receiving my tattoo everyone was extremely kind and accommodating which is especially worth noting as I have a service dog and when you have a service dog people and businesses are either very accommodating or very rude; Chronic Ink was the first hands down. As for Christine herself I could recommend her until I’m blue in the face not only was she extremely understanding about the service dog situation but also amazingly calm and down to earth (she genuinely seemed to care about the work she was doing and made absolutely positive that I would be happy with what she gave me). The tattoo process itself was relatively painless (thank god!) in large part due to the fact that Christine took her time tattooing and was extremely gentle through the entire process which was three hours (she also took the time to check in with me quite often to ensure that I was doing okay pain wise and that I was liking what she was working on at that particular moment). She was so gentle that this total wimp was able to sit through a three hour tattoo without ever needing a break! This I getting to be a long review but I cannot stress just how impressed I I am with both Christine as an artist and Chronic Ink as a shop I will definitely be coming back to Christine for anymore tattoos I end up getting throughout my life!
Had my conch and helix pierced here today by Tzara. She was professional, the studio was clean and felt safe, and I love my new piercings. I also really loved the range of jewellery I had to choose from for my piercings. I got a really beautiful Buddha Jewellery piece for my helix. Only downside (and reason for 4 stars instead of 5) was I originally booked for the Downtown location as it is just around the corner from my condo, and was only told 2.5 hours before my appointment that the piercer wasn't in that day and I had to go to another location. More notice would have been appreciated. But that's on the downtown location, not this one. Overall, pretty happy and would come back for next piercings.
I had my first tattoo experience at Chronic Ink, and I couldn't have been more pleased. It's a process to get a booking (especially when you're all the way from Texas!), so you have to be patient, lucky and not procrastinate to get an artist you want. If someone isn't available, they recommend someone who they believe can do your piece. Fortunately, I was able to book my firsts with Joanna, and I absolutely loved how they turned out! Her work is clean and beautiful. As a first-timer, I was a bit nervous, but she def made my first tattoo experience a good one. Thank you, Joanna, for your skills, for working with me and for stepping outside the box to give me two beautiful pieces. Already got several compliments on my new ink, and some people wanting to travel up north for their next piece. Glad I got to have an experience that lived up to all the good I've heard about Chronic Ink.
Great experience for first tattoo ever! Brenda was super friendly and took our inspiration and made it super unique! She was very considerate and talked us through what to expect for our first tattoo! I’d definitely return to Chronic Ink for another tattoo but I would also follow Brenda!
I had my first tattoo done here by an artist named Patrick. I'll start off by saying that the moment I walked in for my first consultation I was greeted by an extremely friendly, caring and passionate group of people. The shop itself is very clean and modern looking with an open concept but if so desired curtains are present for privacy. Patrick made my first tattoo experience a memorable and great one by showing a huge interest not just in my tattoo but myself as a person. He was very kind, informative about the process from start to finish and very obviously loves the work he does on each client. As for the tattoo itself, it was perfect. Patrick's work was flawless after nearly an 8 hour session on my forearm. I can only imagine the other artists having the same passion and drive as on two occasions other artists came over to peek on the work Patrick was doing on me and seemed to show the same interest he did. I was given a very in depth lesson about aftercare by Patrick and everyone I talked to at the front desk was awesome. I couldn't be happier with my experience here and I will definitely get my next tattoo at Chronic Ink.
Had a fantastic experience with Gale at Chronic Ink on Eglinton. She was amazing and the staff are very professional and respectful! Gale took great care in making sure I was comfortable with the entire experience of getting my first tattoo and that the tattoo was just what I wanted! Thank you Gale can’t wait to schedule more bookings with you!
I had jeff (boyardee ;p) do my latest piece and he absolutely knocked it out of the park. This time I was a bit more specific with what I asked for. (Strong blacks with good transitions into skin breaks and the use of negative space for a nice contrasting tattoo) he absolutely exceeded my expectations. He did exactly what I asked for and slayed my tattoo on both a technical and artistic level. It has depth it has strong bold straight line work and beautiful contrasting areas to really bring the tattoo to life! Ill definitely be coming back to him for more work in the future. If hes doing work like this now I can only imagine his capabilities as an artist 10 years from now. Dont sleep on this artist!
My first tattoo, a design that has deep emotional meaning for me. Even though I had months to prepare, when I arrived I was apprehensive, had last minute cold feet, and was very slow to make a decision on details on the spot - and Joanna was patient and kind, and right about all her suggestions! I love my tattoo - it was relatively painless, it's gorgeous, exactly what I wanted. I even started thinking about my next one while I was still in the chair! Thank you Joanna for being so awesome, and thank you Chronic Ink for your efficiency and attention to detail.
Had a small tattoo done yesterday by Evey. Very happy with the result. Great attention to detail!! Highly recommend.
I recently went in for my first tattoo. The reason I came to Chronic Ink even though I live quite a ways from Toronto is because of the quality. I chose to work with @kwillsontattoo (check her out) . I told her what i wanted, she came up with a design and sent it to my email, i emailed back the changes that I wanted done & when I went in for my appointment it was all done and ready to go. The entire staff was professional and made my experience a comfortable one. All said and done I was very pleased with how it went and would definitely go back and recommend this place and artist to others.
Cindy gave me an AWESOME tattoo today! She was very helpful with sizing and placement, and as gentle as one can be while giving a tattoo. The store was very clean, and the music was blessedly low ???? (there is already a lot of noise in any store setting and I can’t stand it when stores blare their music). I would highly recommend not only Chronic Ink, but Cindy as well - 1000%. Thanks again Cindy!
Evan did a beautiful job on my first tattoo. The font I chose for an (extremely!) small tattoo included such fine flicks that initially she and even another highly reputed place I visited said that it would be impossible to include them. However, Evan managed to make it happen. She really enjoys, and therefore takes on, lettering/word tattoos, so I am sure she is especially skilled in that area. However, she is capable and talented in creating all kinds of tattoos. She was very pleasant and reassuring, and has a mellow/calm way of being that is comforting, especially if this is your first tattoo. I would highly recommend her. She's excellent.
I recently got my first tattoo done with Chronic Ink @Eglinton Studio after my friends highly recommended them. I am so happy and satisfied with how my tattoo turned out - they are extremely professional and communicated with me throughout the pandemic to ensure I knew what to expect every step of the way. A big shout out to my tattoo artist KRIS!! She is absolutely amazing and very caring throughout my entire experience. She made me feel super comfortable especially since it was my first tattoo. Overall, I had a great experience and I will definitely be back for my next one!
My girlfriend and I were visiting Toronto from the US, and decided to walk into Chronic Ink on the outside chance that they would have some time for us. We were told that Sara at the Downtown shop had availability, and we are so thrilled she did! The Downtown space was clean and well designed, and the staff was professional and friendly. Sara is a very talented artist and she did an amazing job with both of our tattoos. She was able to seamlessly shift gears from Heather's delicate black and grey rose tattoo to my bold and colorful American Traditional dagger and rose. We were there most of the day, and we had a great time through the whole process. I've already scheduled my next session!
Got a lion piece on my thigh by amber and I loved my experience. She made me feel super comfortable and was very patient with me when we were figuring out the sketch prior to the session. This shop has amazing and talented artists with lots of versatility and everyone was super kind, professional, and helpful. Very thorough about their work, what they do, and after care. Super nice shop and very clean. I felt very at home and would recommend this place to anyone!
JOANNA was beyond amazing. Her aseptic methods were on point and her personality was calming and fun. The tattoo turned out better the expected. Got a finger tattoo that was tiny but yet her lines were so clean and neat. She took her time and advised/educated us as this was our first tattoos. I would recommend chronic ink Markham- Joanna anytime!!!
Very professional service, clean environment. Went in for a One Piece manga panel. Mack was very nice and the line work was incredible.
Great experience!! Got my first tattoo with Mackenzie and I love it. I would recommend Chronic Ink to anyone that is interested in getting a tattoo. They ensure that you're setup with the perfect artist based on what it is you want. Very clean and professional!
First off - this new location is so much cleaner and fresher looking - quite impressive. All new / high end equipment, everything exceptionally clean. Patrick was my artist and it was my first tattoo. Gotta say - he made the whole process incredibly easy. Very calm, easy to talk to and patient. I would highly suggest Patrick for anyone getting there first tattoo.
This was my first experience at Chronic Ink and it was well worth the wait. My entire experience was great - from the first initial contact to the end result. The staff are very friendly and helpful - and I loved how they texted me to confirm appointments instead of calling so you aren't playing phone tag if you can't answer right away. The Eglinton location was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I booked my tattoo with Amber, and I won't go to anyone else from now on. You can tell she really cares and wants to make sure you're happy; from the design to the placement to the finished product. Amber was super easy to talk to and I felt totally comfortable the entire time. She is an outstanding person and artist. I cannot say enough good things about her and the shop! Highly recommend!
Is it fair to rate a business even if you haven't been to them? I post this because I have sent in form inquiries since last summer & then another a month ago with no responses. I've phoned and was just directed to fill the form online. I've been following you forever & been wanting to get a tattoo. I love Karen's and Zeke's work specifically. I get it that you're one of the highest quality & most popular tattoo shops out there. I have never encountered though such bad customer service. It's very unprofessional the fact that no one ever replies. A mere "we'll get back to you in a few days" would suffice. Though I am so disappointed I won't get a tattoo with you, I'm 100% certain there are other companies out there who would want my business. It's really sad but it is what it is. So thanks for nothing!
I heard about Chronic Ink from a friends recommendation. After looking at some of their artist’s work on Instagram, I decided to contact them through email. They were quick to response, helpful and insightful. I gave them a call to book my appointment. They looked at the tattoo I wanted and set me up with an artist they thought was best fitted. Upon arrival for my appointment, the shop was clean and busy. Which I was happy to see. My artist, Maria, was sweet and willing to work with what I had in mind for my tattoo. Her design was beautiful and delicate. More than I could hope for. Her lines were clean and straight, thin and thoughtful. The final result was gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. I would recommend her and the shop to anyone I know.
Got my first tattoo back in December 2018, it was done by Alison and it turned out amazing. Her skill and suggestions made my whole experience at Chronic Ink amazing. The healing process was fast with the advice give by the staff at the front desk.
Tldr: tattoo colours in sketch not inked to the same size, line bleed, rushed job, dissuaded from the design I wanted to my regret. At some point I'm going to pay to have another artist fix this mistake. Completely unhappy with the tattoo I got and they didn't honour any touch up they said I could recieve. If I recall correctly they said it had to be within 3 months when I called. But I had spent those three months miserable and not wanting to return. That's if I even was told I had 3 months. Maybe the assumption is you know that at certain places. What I wanted was two styles touching each other for the same thematic image. The artist convinced my friend and partner that I shouldn't do that because it should look the same. But I wanted the different styles together. I should have stuck to my guns on that. I specifically said I'm going to have a variety of styles in the sleeve I'm planning so in the end it wouldn't be incongruous. I don't care what others think about me mixing the styles, I'm getting a tattoo thats a pun. The artist had all these beautiful images online but when I arrived she was running late. So instead of pushing my appointment as well she simply rushed mine to get the next person in. So the colour splash was not as much as the drawing she created and the line work seems a bit blended in areas. I felt as if there was less concern for mine than those around me.
Very welcoming atmosphere. Ryan did my tattoos. He was patient and kind. We had great conversation and we found that we both grew up in the same area. I will definitely be returning! Thanks Ryan ☺️
Although I was bounced between 2 other artists (one said she couldn't do my tattoo design idea so she passed me to another artist who wanted to completely change my idea) before getting Amber, the administrative staff was very accommodating and understanding. But I am so happy that Amber was my artist! If you're looking for a piece to look painterly but realistic then Amber is your girl. Her attention to detail and knowledge of colour theory made my tattoo look better than I expected! It is absolutely beautiful and she is a gem of a person. For my first experience at this studio I am impressed with the quality of work these artists do and I would definitely recommend and come again for future tattoos.
Jeff was awesome! ???? I was was matched with him for the type of tattoo I wanted. I really noticed his attention to detail and making sure we were doing exactly what I wanted. ???? His work station and hygiene were top notch and I was appreciative of their approach to safety. Thanks Jeff and I’m sure to be back.
I had a wonderful tattoo experience at Chronic Ink Tattoos Midtown location. Patrick was the artist I was working with and he was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. When it came to the tattoo design I was nervous about expressing what I wanted the final product to look like. During that process Patrick was excellent; he listened to what I liked and disliked, showed me multiple options, was encouraging, and gave me plenty of time to decided on what I thought was best. Patrick created a beautiful design and I appreciated the time he spent double-checking to make sure the placement and transfer were good before starting. Patrick used colors to create texture and did a fantastic job with the overall realism of my tattoo. My tattoo turned out better than I ever imagined and I could not be happier with the end result!! Overall I am so pleased to have met and worked with Patrick and that he was the one to create my tattoo. I have already (and will continue to) recommended Patrick and Chronic Ink to my friends as the place to go when getting a tattoo!
I had my tattoo done today at Chronic Ink's Midtown (Eglinton) location. Ryan was my artist and he did an amazing job! It was important to me to have my late father's signature tattooed on me and I was so happy with the result that I could cry. Thank you Ryan and thank you, Chronic Ink for a five-star experience!
This was my first tattoo with Jeff and he was very professional, determined and focused. While working on the tattoo I felt like Jeff cared more about how good my tattoo should look more than me LOL. My tattoo looks fantastic and very detailed, looking forward to getting more tattoo. I also want to give credit to the team who would offer to provide me water and other stuff if I needed assistance. Most importantly they provided me a charger to charge my headphone which was very appreciated.
Got my first tattoo with Zeke - she was friendly, professional, and did the job perfectly. The reception staff was also super nice, and told me everything I needed to know on aftercare etc. (The price was super reasonable too; much less than what I expected for the job, considering how well it was done) - thanks Zeke! Will definitely be coming back here for my other tattoos in the future.
Ethan was outstanding. He has done my last three tattoos and nothing but good things to say. Always has a good attitude, very detail oriented and you can definitely tell he cares about his customers and his work. Each piece has come out exceptionally and exactly what I had pictured in my mind. Would definitely recommend Chronic Ink and Ethan! I will definitely be back in the future.
I had the best experience at Chronic! I got a tragus piercing done a few days ago and my artist Becky was absolutely amazing! I am terrified of needles but she ensured i was comfortable throughout the entire process and addressed all of my questions/concerns. I would definitely come back for another :)
Had a really good experience at Chronic Ink today :) It was just a forward helix piercing, nothing big, considering I already have multiple ear piercings up my lobe as well as an outer helix. My artist was Becky, a seemingly well trained piercer, super nice woman and very informative. I was left with almost no questions because her preface and after care explanations were perfect and full of information I maybe wouldn't have even thought to ask; questions that I did have were answered very thoroughly. She was also very considerate, the pain of the piercing was definitely more than tolerable but even when just furrowing my brows during the piercing she was sure to check in and see that I was alright. In addition to the service, the setting was also very nice and relaxing while waiting and the environment seemed very clean. The price may be a bit steep but I guess you're paying for the good quality.
Fantastic tattoo shop. I've gotten multiple tattoos here and have had nothing but positive experiences. My most recent tattoo artist was Patrick and he was knowledgeable, friendly and did an exceptional job on my tattoo. His input and ideas made my tattoo better than I had expected it to be. Chronic Ink is the best shop in Toronto.
The best of the best! I would recommend Chronic Ink Tattoos to anyone looking to get a tattoo, no matter the style. Their professionals cover a wide range of styles, I bet anything you are looking for to get done can be done by Chronic Ink. They often have top notch guest artists, I have had one of the tattoos done by Janice - superb, another tattoo was by Patrick - everyone is in awe when they see it. My latest tattoo was by Joanna - her lines are out of this world. My husband is a repeat customer also. We have been to Yonge and Eglinton location and to the Markham locations. I am sure that their newest downtown spot is just as awesome if not better. A grateful customer!
My time @chronicink was super cool, very clean, my artist Amber was very nice to get to know while getting my tattoo completed. My appointment was suppose to last 3 hrs, but Amber got it done in 1.5 hrs. The thin lines (which was a requirement) and overall experience was amazing!!
After hearing good things from friends, I decided to go to Chronic Ink for my first tattoo. Jeff did a fantastic job! He eased my nerves and made the process much easier. I got scripture done on my forearm. The end result is great, definitely recommend this place (and Jeff). Good atmosphere, good hygiene and skilled artists.
I recently had my first tattoo done at Chronic Ink. The staff and atmosphere are great from the initial consultation to the actual tattoo session. My artist Amber did an amazing job, she was very helpful and accommodating while coming up with the final design and placement of the piece. I would highly recommend Chronic Ink and Amber to anyone looking for an amazing tattoo!
Went to the Chronic Ink pop up in Vancouver and had an amazing experience! It was my first tattoo, and it was done by Joanna who made it incredibily memorable. She was the sweetest and honestly, I could not ask for a better person to have done it. I gave her some references, she customized it to her style and she came up with the most gorgeous tattoo. I really hope they come back to Vancouver again! And hopefully soon, because I am ready for my second one!
Chronic Ink is a really amazing tattoo parlour. I got my first tattoo at the Eglinton shop yesterday with Patrick. He is a very talented and professional artist. He did everything to make sure the process was smooth and pain-free (well almost) and he took the time to create the perfect design for me. All the other staff were also very professional. I highly recommend both Patrick and Chronic Ink, especially for first timers!
My mom and I were planning on going to Toronto for a quick two day visit and while we were there we wanted to get tattoos. We did our research and found Chronic Ink, it had the best reviews except for the occasional "we had to wait to long" comment. We both made appointments about two weeks in advance through their email system which was very easy and their responses were very quick. We showed up about fifteen minutes in early and Ray saw us right away. He already had printed out the design we emailed to him and all the details we wanted. My mom and I changed the design a few times and he was very patient. When he was setting up all the machines and tools everything was removed from a sealed package and each station was very clean. Ray took his time to make sure the stencil was perfectly lined up and overall my tattoo was perfect. I would highly recommend both Chronic Ink and Ray.
My most recent experience was great. No complaints. Ray (the artist) did some amazing work on my piece, and is easy to talk to. we talked about Animated and Marvel movies lol good times. I've been to Chronic Ink 3 times now, and I'm always confident in their artists and their abilities. The shop is always well maintained and someone is always ready to help you out whether its a consultation, your official ink day or if you just walked in. Great people and great service. Thanks again.
I've just started a sleeve at Chronic Ink with Marilyn and I'm blown away by how good it's looking already. She managed to take the ideas I had in my mind and turn them into something that I'll proudly wear on my arm for the rest of my life. The studio is extremely professional while still keeping a welcoming vibe. I'm really looking forward to my next appointment! And to anyone looking for a tattoo, this is the place to go. I came here from Sweden and it was totally worth it!
This was my first time getting a tattoo. The place was clean and well distanced to respect COVID protocols. Ninna Renard my tattoo artist was lovely. She listened to what I wanted and followed through. She was gentle and reassuring and I would highly recommend her and this tattoo shop to anyone. I'm very pleased with my tattoo and am looking forward to booking my next one here as well!
Just got my first tattoo done by Karen. I'm absolutely in love with it. She did an amazing job on it and I can't imagine it being any better. Karen's experience and expertise really show in her work. She was very professional and made for an all around great experience. Thank you so much for your work, a job very well done. The shop was also great. Very well set up and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Will go back for my next one!
I just got my second tattoo done and I'm very happy with the service I received. There was good communication by email and phone. Even though I got my design by email a few days prior to my appointment, when I emailed them back with my changes, I got a call from Zeke to clarify everything. Zeke was patient with all my requests and we had some good conversations throughout the session. The tattoo came out great and I didn't have to sit too long (it was about 4x6 inches). I liked how the needles weren't super loud like the other place I went to in downtown. It felt very professional at Chronic. Well worth the long appointment wait :) I'm already thinking about my third tattoo with Zeke.
Finally decided to get inked, went thru the website with my idea and Chronic recommend Jeff. I was impressed with his work so I was confident that he could deliver a great piece. I was impressed with the shop and the whole experience was terrific. Jeff did an amazing job and I look forward to future work with him. I highly recommend Jeff and I am sure any of the artists at Chronic Ink can meet your desired results. Thanks Jeff, hope to see you sooner than later
I got my first ever tattoo (my Chinese name) on Sunday at the Markham location with Karen, and her artistry was amazing. I asked for a brush stroke effect on my tattoo to make it look like traditional Chinese calligraphy, and she did not disappoint. She was fast, friendly, and professional - she made sure I was totally comfortable with everything before she started, which I really appreciated. The other staff were great too, and thanks to everyone for making a newbie like me feel welcome. Thanks to artist AK as well for recommending Karen for her expertise. I'll come back for another one soon, keep up the good work Chronic Ink!
Always a great experience at Chronic Ink! Everyone is always so kind and welcoming and very talented. If you have any sort of question it's sure to be answered so don't hesitate! My artist is Patrick and I couldn't be more thrilled on my sleeve progress, you can really tell how passionate he is about the work he does and making sure his clients are as comfortable and happy as possible. He designed the most beautiful piece I could've ever hoped for and added elements that made me love it even more. I can't put into words how much I appreciate his work & i'm excited to go back!
I've wanted a tattoo for many years and had put it off forever. Finally a couple of months ago I decided it was time. I started researching tattoo shops in Toronto and after careful consideration I decided on Chronic Ink (Eglinton location). I called and spoke with Jesse and booked an appointment that same day. When I got to the shop I was very impressed by everything I saw. People were extremely friendly the place was spotless and the overall vibe was awesome. I was introduced to Danny O, the artist who would be working on my tattoo. I explained to him that I was new to this and I was nervous about it. He ensured me that it would be just fine and there was nothing to be nervous about. He looked at the image I had emailed them and told me that he wanted to give it a custom look and that I would be able to decide which one I would like. He spent a few minutes redesigning the image and came back to me with a very impressive look that I agreed immediately to go with his design. From start to finish Danny was excellent. He was professional, polite and comforting. Now for the finished product. Danny's work is phenomenal it's day 3 and my tattoo is perfect. Anyone that has seen it is very impressed at how good it looks and are now looking to go to Chonic to see Danny for their own tattoos. Little info to those new to the tattoo world....it doesn't hurt the pain actually starts to feel pretty good, and it becomes immediately addictive I'm already planning to go back in February for my next one..haha. I have found my tattoo shop of choice and my artist...Well done Chronic Ink.
I had my ears pierced by Becky a few days ago and I can honestly say I had a great experience. She was very friendly and took the time to explain each step and exactly why she needed to do whatever she was doing, which goes a long way in making a customer feel comfortable. She was also very detailed when she explained the aftercare routine. The piercings themselves were quick and painless and seem to be healing quite well. Over all, I'm really happy with how everything went, and will definitely come back for any future piercings.
Awesome place! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Christine Pexin was my artist and she is amazing! I did a lot of researching for the right shop to go to, and I am more then happy with my decision. This was by far the best experience, way better then my first 2 tattoos I got back in the day at some random shop. Which I will want to get covered now, and know where to go to for that. Thanks Christine for my beautiful tattoo! You all are awesome at what you do. I highly recommend to everyone!
Finally decided to get inked, went thru the website with my idea and Chronic recommend Jeff. I was impressed with his work so I was confident that he could deliver a great piece. I was impressed with the shop and the whole experience was terrific. Jeff did an amazing job and I look forward to future work with him. I highly recommend Jeff and I am sure any of the artists at Chronic Ink can meet your desired results
I had an amazing first tattoo experience at Chronic Ink with Louisa. She was very attentive and gave me recommendations throughout the consultation. I asked to get the lettering smaller, but she stated that over time the ink would expand and could result in a blob. She also recommended that the flowers on my tattoo should be drawn a certain way to make it look 'one' with the lettering. Originally I had wanted the placement of the tattoo to be lower (below my bra strap) and more centred, but she recommended that it be placed off to the side a little in order to flow with the shape of my body. As this was my first tattoo, I repeatedly said I was nervous but she kept telling me not to be nervous. It was an amazing experience from start to finish - Louisa was very open to communication and never made me feel intimated or nervous. Her drawing of cherry blossoms was more detailed and beautiful than I had originally imagined in my head - a true artist and I am proud to wear her art. It really made my meaningful tattoo even more personal and unique. The Tattoo Goo that was given to me is great for aftercare as well. Thank you so much, Chronic Ink!
My girlfriend recently got an industrial piercing and it was all together a great experience. Becky was super awesome and explained everything from the different angles to the way it was going to be positioned! She was very thorough and made sure she was comfortable the entire time and did everything carefully! Overall great experience and we would both go back to Chronic Ink in the future!
Came in on Monday for just a consultation, which was very helpful. Everyone there was extremely friendly and welcoming for a first-timer such as myself. After the consultation I was recommended Damon as my artist, who is booked until next year! However I was incredibly lucky to be able to start a piece with him that day, as he had a last-minute cancellation, opening up some time for him. He was very professional and very talented. Immediately understood what kind of piece I wanted. Have booked my next session, and will definitely continue coming to Chronic for a lot of future tattoos.
I just had my ears double pierced at Chronic Ink on Eglinton. The staff were SO great; approachable, friendly, accommodating!! I stupidly showed up on the wrong Sunday (a week early!) but they took me anyways, and were really nice about it. I had Zara pierce my lobes, she made me feel instantly comfortable and was very personable. The piercings are well positioned, and the experience was very comfortable. I may not have gotten the most adventurous of services, but I would feel comfortable going back for something more complicated in the future. Overall a great experience!
I had my first tattoo done by Kevin in Markham. I traveled from Kingston, ON especially and would do it again in a heartbeat! I've got an unfinished (thus far!) piece- a horse running diagonally across my thigh. He was absolutely fantastic. Extremely professional, and kept my comfort level in mind at all times. The guys in the shop (and ladies!) were extremely kind and put up with my shenanigans for 6 hours, always a sign of good people! I would recommend them to anyone and will do so to everyone I know! I especially would like to thank Kevin for such great work! Very lucky to have found such a shop! Cheers guys!
I just got my first tattoo ever done by chronic ink and it was just an amazing experience. The staff is very kind, helpful and professional and the studio in general is very clean and modern. They took great care about my idea of the tattoo and in the consultation my tattoo artist Gail and I designed in my opinion the best possible result. She is such a talented and professional artist. I can definitely recommend going there to get your tattoo, as also their website is very helpful and informative in regards to the whole process and aftercare.
Wow what a memorable experience. I went to the pop up shop at Vaughn Mills. This was my first tattoo. Everyone was friendly and they made you feel so comfortable. I had the pleasure of having the talented Joanna as my artist. She made the tattoo everything I had dreamed it would be. She made my 1st tattoo a breeze. It barely hurt at all. Her line work is exquisite. I'm just thrilled! Thank you so much Joanna and to everyone at Chronic Ink. Can't wait to book my next one!!
I got my tattoo done by Patrick a few weeks ago, and he was a pretty chill guy. Patrick is an amazing artist - he took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the tattoo, made sure I was okay with the placement and size of it, and took the time to alter the design with some different ideas he had come up with the day of. He’s very dedicated to his art, and he’s got so many great ideas. We even spoke about some of my future ideas and he gave me some great feedback. 100% I would go back to him in a heartbeat. Thanks so much Patrick!!
Just finished my second session with Jeff yesterday, and he's been nothing short of absolutely phenomenal. I've had the idea for this piece for years now, and Jeff has breathed life into it more completely than I could possibly have imagined. He's been incredibly perceptive in his suggestions for placement and colouring, and he has a very keen eye for detail. The rest of the staff are consistently amiable and courteous; the shop itself is clean, modern, and conveniently located. I don't think I'll ever go to another tattoo parlour. Update: Just finished the first session of my second piece with Jeff today, and I stand by every word in my above review
I got pierced by Zara, she was amazing. She talked me through everything she was doing and took her time to ensure I was happy with the positioning. Double nostrils are fresh. Medusa and dermals are healed also done by Zara.
Not welcoming. I arrived a little early for my appointment and no one greeted me despite the amount of employees walking around. I thought it was just because I was early, so I just took a seat and waited. 5 minutes later someone else walks through the door and is immediately greeted by someone?? My artist Alison was kind of unorganized; she didn't even know she had a client at 12pm. She wasn't very welcoming and she put her own opinions about my tattoo over my own and I felt pressured to do it the way she wanted. The price was not worth the quality--won't be back.
I had the pleasure of having my first tattoo done by Matt Rodway and I can say that I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Extremely high quality work done in a professional, sanitary, and welcoming environment! Some may claim that this establishment charges a lot for their tattoos but at the end of the day you get what you pay for (and Matt's work was worth every penny). My highest praise goes out to Matt Rodway and Chronic Ink, thank you for the amazing experience and an incredible tattoo!
AMAAAAAAZING! Wonderful place, friendly atmosphere, staff is very welcoming and helpful! Thank you for an amazing piece.
I drove from Hamilton to get for my first tattoo. My artist was a guest artist named Pitta. The drive was worth it. He did such a great job that it changed my partner's opinion about me getting a tattoo. The staff was friendly and professional. The studio was clean. If I ever decide to get another piece done or recommend a studio to any friend it would be this one.
This is the most welcoming tattoo shop I have ever been to. Despite not having any visible tattoos, I was greeted warmly when I entered. The shop is clean, quiet with tranquil music in the background. I also witnessed my artist, Tommy, sanitizing his station many times throughout the appointment. He was very patient with stenciling my design and getting the placement and details just right! We even made last minute touch-ups after we were done. He also explained the entire process to me and even stopped for breaks when I needed them. I will definitely be returning!
I got my first tattoo done here the other day, I got a quote across my left ribcage and Ray was my artist. I was extremely impressed with how clean the shop was when I came in for my consultation about 2 weeks before my appointment. The staff is very friendly and they helped ease my nerves when I came in. I was very pleased with how professional the Chronic Ink team was and how efficient their tattooing process is. Ray did an unbelievable job and I am very happy with my tattoo and experience here, I would definitely recommend this tattoo shop to anyone and will hopefully be back here in the near future to get more tattoos.
I recently got a tattoo done by Miss Lee at Chronic Ink in Markham and had a great experience. The tattoo itself is beautiful and just what I had envisioned. I sent Miss Lee some examples of what I had in mind, and she drew up the sketch a few days before. I've received many compliments on the completed tattoo. The shop itself was very pleasant to deal with. They had timely and detailed communication and were focused on customer service. I would definetly come here again, and recommend this place to others.
First time getting a tattoo and was treated amazingly by artist Ninna and staff. Took their time with me and made sure I was 110% happy and ok with design before she started. Highly recommend Chronic Ink to anyone interested in their first tattoo. I’ll be back again for my next tattoo!
Ray did such an amazing job!! He did a realistic rose on my left shoulder and it came out JUST FABULOUS. Everyone cant stop complimenting me on how beautiful it looks. I am completely satisfied with the job. Chronic ink is the ONLY place to go to when visiting Toronto. In my opinion it is truly the best, awesome artists, clean and professional. They really know what they are doing and their work is AWESOME. I recommend Ray for any realism flower work. I LOVE MY NEW TATTOO!!!
I got my first tattoo with Ethan at Chronic Ink, absolutely love his work. Very friendly environment and clean. So happy with the result!
I got my first tattoo done here and had a very comfortable and easy going experience. However I did receive a sketch up of my tattoo later than the scheduled email presentation but I understand that these artists have many appointments to take care of that need a lot of attention, so it wasn't a huge issue with me. Christine was the artist I had and her design she made for my tattoo was amazing. I immediately fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, it was exactly what I wanted. The tattoo session itself was great too, she made conversation with me during the session and I did not feel as nervous as I was when I walked into the shop. The staff vibe was friendly and they even offered me coffee/tea/snacks during my session, I thought that was very nice of them. The front desk was also informative with aftercare info, so any questions you have they are happy to answer. I'm definitely coming back here for my next tattoo!
Chronic Ink is an awesome shop. They have the best artists and they are all super nice. I had a great experience with my artist Tommy. I wanted a traditional Chinese Phoenix tattoo. Tommy was awesome. Such a great artist. My tattoo looks amazing. 2 more sessions to go. I can't wait to get back there. Definitely a gem in Toronto. I would 100 percent recommend this place. Two thumbs up!!
Had a great experience having my cartilage pierced. Staff was welcoming, made sure everything was taken care of, forms that needed to be filled, etc. My artist Alison was very thorough in explaining the process, and made things as quick and painless as possible. Highly skilled and knowledgeable!
I recently finished a tattoo with Kreation and it was a very enjoyable experience, not only did he do a wonderful professional tattoo he was also very personable which made the time go by allot faster, all and all it was great and I can’t wait to go back.
Got my first tattoo here, done by Amber. I'm only 16 so I was expecting a little bit of judgement from employees, but it was extremely welcoming. Everyone there was very nice and engaging. Amber did great, I felt extremely comfortable with her and she completely blew my mind and exceeded my expectations with the tattoo. Healing has been going well. They are very clear with aftercare instructions. Overall, amazing experience.
Horrible place. -5 stars if I could. Not only did the worker who was doing the piercing lie about wait time, saying she'd be back in 5 minutes and return in 45. But she had the worst attitude while doing the piercing as well. I've heard their prices are absurd, but I thought they should have excellent quality for such high prices. Boy was I completely wrong. Would've rather gotten my piercings from a flea market than from this worker. The pictures attached below are a visual representation of the scam they are portraying. A paper boat hat for 40$. Really? Hard to believe this place has won so many awards.
I’m 17 and got my first tattoo done at chronic ink. I had an absolutely terrible experience. I was treated awfully and rudely since the moment I entered. My tattoo artist, Alison, was very rude and impolite and I felt very uncomfortable the whole time. I would not recommend her to anyone wanting to get a tattoo especially if it’s your first time. The process felt very rushed and as if I didn’t have the opportunity to say how I felt about the changes I wanted to make in the tattoo. It turned out well and I love my tattoo but I did not appreciate the way Alison treated me or my family.
Had my first tattoo done here and my experience was wonderful! The shop was comfortable, the staff was incredibly friendly and my artist Christine created an amazing and memorable piece for me! Definitely coming back and recommending my friends!
First time getting a piercing and I'm so happy I did it here! Zara is super nice and professional, and the process went very smoothly. If I end up getting more piercings, I'll definitely be back here!
I love this shop!!!! Great atmosphere, great customer service and great music. It is clean, professional and filled with talented Artists. Alex was my Tattoo Artist. He is amazing, friendly and incredibly talented. He actually did such amazing job, you can tell that he puts his true passion into his work.Honestly, words can't explain how happy I am with my new tattoo. So, thank you once again Alex :D! (I would highly recomend Chronic ink to everyone!!!!!) Follow them on instagram Alex. @ raimundo_ramirez Chronicink @chronicink
Got a tattoo done yesterday, called in 2.5 hours before and asked for a walk in, they set everything up quickly. When I was there, it was very professional, clean, and had a great atmosphere. Alison was my artist and i love my new tattoo, she took her time and did a great job. Afterwards, even though this will be my 6th tattoo and i know what to do, someone took the time to go over aftercare of the tattoo and asked if i had any questions. Very well done.
Friendly from the first email 7 months ago. Everyone I spoke to at the front desk were amazing. I don't even know where to start in a Review of my artist Livia. She was amazing. Her work is stunning. I got my tattoo on Saturday and 3 friends have already called the shop to get work done there. I am lucky to have a beautiful piece done by Livia. She is lovely! She was kind and easy to work with when putting the design together. It turned out even better than i had hoped.
I have recently gotten my second tattoo from Chronic Ink and they have yet again amazed me with there talent. This was my first time going to Zeke but I had nothing but confidence in her ability to do what she does best. The shop has a really welcoming vibe, and with all the amazing art pieces hung up it gets you thinking about your next tattoo. I highly recommend Chronic Ink to anyone in the market for the highest quality tattoo experience.
Great experience at Chronic Ink. Everything from help with finding the right artist, getting an appointment and agreeing on a sketch with the artist (which we mostly had to do via e-mail or over the phone as I was coming all the way from Sweden) to the final result was done with a high level of service and professionalism. Christine, who was my artist, had great input to develop my original thoughts and ideas and the result is breathtaking. An amazing tattoo! Thank you Christine and Chronic Ink!
Excellent experience, from start to finish! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Zara was my piercing technician and she was extremely professional and gentle. Highly recommend this studio!
A BIG THANKS to Janice who is the guest artist of Chronic Ink. I got my first Tattoo done yesterday and was super satisfied with it! Due to the snow storm I was about 2 hrs late for the appointment but Janice still finished up the piece even by the time it was almost the mid night. Janice has an excellent drawing skill - and tattoo skill as well as she can literally make the tattoo on your body looks exactly like it's on the draft. Also her hands are pretty steady and light which makes the pain much less ;) Will highly recommend any one who wants to get a tattoo to check out with Janice and I think she won't fail you!
