Dec 29, 2021 Got another piercing from Adrenaline by Alex, who apparently is a apprentice (or junior). I find it hard to believe as he was SO GENTLE, friendly and calming. He is going to be AMAZING!! Got a piercing here and found the staff to be super friendly and attentive. The gent who did the piercing was warm and friendly, and gentle too. Very clean and great selection of jewellery.

I chose Adrenaline for my piercing after it was so highly rated on BlogTO. I went in yesterday for a simple nostril piercing. The guy up front was super friendly and helpful and I wasn’t waiting very long at all before a woman called me in to the piercing room. She seemed friendly enough and we began the piercing process, she cleaned the area, marked my nose and asked if I liked the placement. When I asked for it to be slightly lower she acted as if it was a huge hassle. As she was about to begin the friend who I was with wanted to take a photo, but she snapped at her to not do so. Which I can understand, but she could have handled it in a much nicer way. All in all the whole process seemed rushed and as if the piercer just wanted to get us out of there as soon as possible.(There were no other people waiting for piercings that I could see, she was standing upfront eating as I left) She gave me no instructions about aftercare, healing time, etc. I had to ask the guy out front for all of this information as I was cashing out. Not a horrible experience but I won’t be going back to get them to change my jewelry once the piercing is healed, I’ll find someone to else.

Was in earlier today, first time tattoo and had an incredible experience. The staff was so welcoming and did their best to get me in as a walk-in as earliest as possible. Rulo is beyond an exceptional artist, made me feel comfortable and at home. He was so mindful and understanding of my rib tattoo, took the time to find the right placement for my script and even corrected it when he noticed it was a little crooked. In his 22 years of tattooing, he’s been around the world and has such a big heart to match his love for the art. I saw his work on Instagram afterwards and it shows, check him out at RuloDinamite. I got my first ever tattoo at Adrenaline over a year ago and the experience at the time was great. Staff were very friendly and the tattoo artist, although possessing an abrupt manner of speaking, was very informative about aftercare instructions. I was probably out of there in half an hour, from the time I stepped into the store to when the tattoo was complete. However, this Wednesday I went back to Adrenaline based off my first experience with the store and I was not happy. Both tattoos were walk-ins, which I understand may take a bit of time for a tattoo artist to slot in. My friend and I walked in and were greeted by a tattoo artist who I showed the design to (a pretty basic design if you ask me) and he pretty much brushed it off. Then another employee asked another artist who offered a quote. The employees then walked off and were pretty much just chatting among themselves and seemed to be consciously avoiding me and my friend. I finally informed an employee that I would get the tattoo and she had me fill out the necessary forms. She was probably the rudest employee there and like many other reviews have posted, had an attitude problem. We were then told to wait for nearly an hour, and many employees and tattoo artists were simply standing in the store talking. They also seemed to be responding to other customers but completely ignored me and my friend. Again, while I understand it was a walk-in and wait times vary, the vibe that the staff gave off was not pleasant. They almost gave off a 'too good for you' persona. I was happy with the end result of the tattoo, but will probably not be returning based on the overall experience with staff this time around.

I should preface this by stating I personally didn't use the services: I accompanied a friend, observed, and asked for her opinion. She said this place was cheaper than most places for piercings. The staff are very knowledgeable and nice, and cater to your needs and questions. My friend went in for another nose piercing (or to widen the hole she previously had?) and the staff she had patiently showed her their collection of nose rings. She ended up forking out about $100 (tips and tax included !), which I thoght was on the pricey end , but my friend assured me that their services were cheaper compared to other piercing places. She has several piercings, so I'll take her comment at face value. The place was also well-kempt. Overall , she (as do I ) would recommend adrenaline tatoos (and piercings ) to anyone considering their services .

I came in for a walk in tattoo with two friends there for support. I requested a small script and was told I can only get it written in their fonts, spaced out exactly how it is paint, that are to be printed and used. That’s okay. It is more so the way the staff member explained and made my friends and I feel - stupid and bothersome. I even saw her sigh and roll her eyes when my friend requested if she can stretch out the image in efforts to to space out the text. I did not like the way she made us feel, and was not comfortable being in an unwelcoming environment. I ended up going to kintaro tattoo where the owner cheerfully greeted my friends and I with a “hi come on in, how are you?”. So glad I went there instead - I had an amazing experience at kintaro.

It’s a great place, but piercer was in such a hurry, and barely gave me his time. I came for a re-piercing as my nose ring fell off in the night, and he re-pierced me again not in the place it was before. When I was going out I noticed my nose was bleeding and I had to come back to ask for wipes. They let me in the room again, the piercer wiped it in terms of few seconds and even before I left the room asked for the next customer. I barely had a chance to talk to him and asked the questions about irritation I have. :( The piercer seems to be knowledgeable and abstained from putting the hook jewelry I wanted in a first place and competently explained me why. I understand that there are people waiting, but would be great if a master was a little bit more attentive.

Went here again for my second lobes and rook piercing. Nik is super professional and nice, he knows what he's doing. The woman that greeted us at the door was helpful and nice, and she got me the form right away, as well as the earring display to choose from. The piercings themselves were done quick and fairly painlessly, he explained how to clean them properly, and walked me to the cash to pay. Overall, it was a really good experience, and I frequently recommend adrenaline to people who ask about my piercings.

Horrible customer service skills, you have to demand for help because the staff there is clearly just hanging out. Most businesses know the customer should be approached and asked if they need help. I don’t know if management knows or if they care about the employee’s. While checking out the young girl at the cashier had attitude and was very unprofessional. I don’t know if she was just having a bad day, but when you’re working with customers you slap on your “happy face” and give that business a good name and EVERY customer a good experience so they continue to come back and/or recommend it. On a more positive note, the woman who did my piercings was great! She talked me through it, gave me instructions on how to clean it and was very friendly. My boyfriend also got two tattoos done there - he had similar feedback about staff running the shop. My boyfriend’s tattoos turned out amazing, one was done by a man named Adam, and the other by a man Delmer (apparently the owners friend?). Delmer did the most amazing job, I would highly recommend his work. It’s a shame that they have such proud people running this place, I don’t plan on going back or recommending them because of their extremely poor customer service. YOU need our service, WE (the customers) don’t need yours.

Had my lobes pierced and asked for them to be pierced straighter than usual as I had my 1st lobes in the past but wearing hoops made them face sideways, complete O’s. Because my old holes didn’t close the guy made new markings which were fine. I went with my friend who also got lobes and we were taken aback when they used a piercing gun. Still went through with it as the guy was helpful and respectful giving me time to decide on the piercings. The jewelry they gave was nice and secured. Unfortunately when I took the earrings out to put in hoops and see how they sat, they were still crooked. And the right ear was more sideways than the left. Can’t say I’m not disappointed but they also only mark and measure by eye. Although my experience was okay I wouldn’t come back.

I got my rook and conch pierced here at the recommendation of 3 friends who got various places pierced there. And I can say it was a quick, easy and great experience! I walked in and started to browse a bit and was immediately approached by a lady (blonde highlights with her septum pierced) and was super friendly. I told her what I wanted to get done and she quickly got the forms, informed me of the costs, procedure what type of jewelry I’d be wearing during healing time etc. I’m not a big fan of the silver balls so she offered a ball with CZ at no extra cost for my conch (which is awesome). After signing the forms I was seated at the back of the store (I had 2 friends with me). We chatted for a few minutes before my piercer Luke came and brought us to the room. He graciously let my 2 friends (who were more nervous than me) to come in. He cleaned my ear, marked it, asked for my opinion on the placement. When I was ok with everything he pierced them. Luke was super friendly, helped me and friends calm down a bit by engaging in conversation and it was over quick. He gave me a card with aftercare instructions and went over it with me. The lady who set the whole thing up made sure I was happy with everything, went over aftercare instructions again and then end! It’s one of the more pricey piercing places, but totally worth the money (they use implant grade titanium jewelry). Would totally go back if my desire for more piercings come back!

Adrenaline is always my place to go for piercings. I’ve had my tongue, Monroe, and septum pierced here. They have all healed very quickly and the whole process was so fast! The staff there are extremely friendly and make you feel very comfortable. Nick pierced my septum yesterday. He is great at what he does and very professional. Won’t go anywhere else!

I hate to give a mediocre review because the experience that I had in the shop was great and I really liked the artist. However it's the aftercare experience that's been a nightmare. I had a tattoo on my leg done by Todd last week and he was very friendly and super great to do business with. The staff were very pleasant and I had a great experience. The tattoo came out beautifully and I left very satisfied. However, Todd put second skin over the tattoo and instructed me to leave it for 5-6 days and then remove it. This said, by the time I had gotten home, the lymph, blood and ink under the second skin had already broken the adhesive and was leaking out on to my pants. I peeled back the part that had lifted, cut it off, washed the area thouroughly and sealed it again with more second skin. the next morning I woke up and could barely walk on the leg that had been tattooed and the fluid had broken through again. I did the same thing I had done the night before and put more second skin on. I figured the pain was normal healing soreness and I took a couple Tylenol, and moved on with my day. As the day went on I kept soaking through the second skin and eventually ran out of it. I just kept trying to soak up the leaking but a few days later I noticed a really nasty smell coming from underneath the second skin and I also noticed red bumps and itching forming around the edges of the plastic. I decided to look up the product and found that with second skin and every product on the market like it, the instructions were to remove the product every 24 hours and replace it, or at least to remove it after the first 24 hours and remove the initial fluid and then put on a new layer for a few days, but nowhere did it say to leave it on for 5 days without removing it or washing it. So after I found that out I removed it immediately to find that all the skin near areas where the fluid had leaked out and the seal had broken was raw, open and oozing. I went to see my sister who is a doctor, and she said that I had an infection in the tattoo as well as having an allergic reaction to the adhesive in the second skin. She told me to take some Benadryl for the allergy and wash the tattoo with a mild sea salt solution and the infection should go down. She said the infection was most likely from the fact that the second skin had lifted in spots, allowing bacteria to enter underneath and become trapped underneath it. Long story short, the tattoo should be fine in a couple days but it's been a ridiculously painful process and extremely stressful to deal with, because I thought that I had ruined this gorgeous tattoo that I had just spent so much money on and was really happy with. I love the tattoo but I'm really confused and dissatisfied with the aftercare instructions that I was given, knowing that they blatantly go against the directions given for product use. I didn't call the shop because after getting aftercare instructions that are so far off what's supposed to be done I am afraid to follow directions from them anymore. Again, I feel guilty even leaving this review because I really liked the artist and he did a great job in the tattoo itself but when it comes down to it I feel people need to be warned about the strange aftercare instructions.

Fiancee and I got matching tattoos. Just simple tourist pieces. Basic outline of Canada with a dot to represent Toronto, very small pieces, no colour, not even any shading. We were each in the chair for no more than 20-25mins. You can hardly tell it's Canada, and THEY CHARGES US OVER $400!!! We're in Toronto all the time and usually het tattoos when we travel. We will never support that shop again. They were friendly though, I'll give them that.

Paid a $40 deposit before hand, got 3 small finger tattoos and was extremely overcharged $185 and my deposit was never taken off. Did a great job however not nearly worth the ridiculous price paid I have since called the shop and explained the situation... I was informed that the total was 226 for three hand drawn tattoos that took less than half an hour. I was told that there is a minimum of 100$ per tattoo and my deposit was in fact honoured. Would have been professional to have been made aware of this before.

This is my second time to adrenaline and my 3rd tattoo appointment. Me and my friend booked an appointment with Jony Somoza. This has been by far my favorite tattoo artist. We made the appointment through emails, I sent Jony 2 pictures of the tattoo I wanted but wasn't sure how to incorporate both of them. Usually I would send my own design however I didnt get to but Jony came up with a tattoo that I was satisfied with and I was really happy how it came out. He was really friendly and we talked throughout our appointment, he also ensured and walked me through the appointment carefully so I wasn't worried. Right after, my friend had her first tattoo and he made sure that she wasn't as scared either. Definetly will be coming to him for future tattoo appointments. The location of the store was easy to get to, there was an underground parking which was under a ttc station which was only a 5 minute walk from the store. There are other stores to sit around in incase you're waiting for your appointment as well.

Please train your receptionist better, she is a very aggressive person no good for business. she might think she is efficient - she is not , made it so difficult for me to book an appointment ,t hat I ended up so frustrated by the way how she conducted the hole booking process, i got stressed out and couldn't book it. even tough we already had a quote and know the person we wanted to book to get it done. I never had any work done there, but they were on my list when checking out shops. They were so friendly and answered all my questions. They are willing to haggle which may be a plus for some. Also they gave me advice and I didn't feel pressured or like they were after my money because they refused to do the work I wanted done, for my safety. I really appreciated that.

Pierced by Sarah. She opened up the sterile packages but then dumped all of her materials onto the tray, on top of each other, making them no longer sterile. She let me look at the placement of my piercings before piercing, but was very rude and resistant when I asked for the placement to be changed. I definitely understand that the piercer knows more than I do, but there was a lot of room as these were my 2nd lobes. She only adjusted one of them to my liking before piercing both lobes, making them extremely uneven. These were my 5th and 6th piercings and I've never witnessed such a thing. I will likely have to get them re-pierced. I went back a few weeks later to get a different piercing of mine checked out, and Luke was extremely professional and super, super informative. He was thorough about cleaning and aftercare, and when I had specific questions about what to do in medical situations he answered all them. I will get pierced by him in the future. Jewellery is good quality and good selection and the staff are kind.

I went to this place on June 30th of this year, I had a tattoo in mind. Customer service was good, I was asked almost right away if I needed help. The lady at the front desk said she would get an artist for me, moments later, another staff saw me standing and waiting and asked if I needed help, already taken care of. So 5/5 on the Customer Service for the front-end sales staff. I spoke to an artists S. Plum, I had a tattoo I wanted which was into two peaces, I showed him some items from Google of the tattoo I wanted. Plum advised me he cannot do the tattoo the same day as he wanted to design the tattoo which will take him some time to do. I booked in for an appointment with Plum for July 6 and was quoted a range from $400-600, which was pricey but I was curious to see what he would design up for me. On July 6, Plum wasn't available as he booked off sick. I was annoyed at this point since I have waited one week and still haven't even seen the design in full. So I took a moment to ask for another artists, the front desk lady was an awesome to understand my frustration and found me another artists available that day. I went over the design with the new artist, who told me he can design something up in half hour. I asked for a rate which he said $150, deal is done. So I am in the waiting room and the billing timer is on, it was a nice comfy waiting area, half hour later he had the design done, I reviewed it and liked it a lot, he asked me if I wanted an extra piece which in his opinion would look better along with the design I wanted, but warned an extra charge. I saw what he meant and decided he was right, the extra cost was pricey though almost an extra $100. When it was completed, I liked it a lot. The price break-down of it was $150 x 2.5 hours, including the design time came out to $375, plus an extra fee (which I was not able to see this guideline for extra costs) and tip, I spent $700. But was satisfied. What I normally would have paid is the rate only, no extra costs mumble jumble and if I were to hear it, then contract canceled see you later. But this time was accepted, I think I should have paid at minimum of $375 in billable work and 25% tip ($100). Overall really good artists, you just have to watch out for anything you are being overcharged for. If it is a really good artists and he is charging you lets say $200 an hour for a HD image tattoo on you then make sure you are only paying the billable rate and time, not some random number figure, that goes with any tattoo place you go to. They should make a print out of what I am being billed for and this print out should include this guideline they have. This is what is affecting their rating today, because on that aspect of the business, this is really poor, plus I didn't get a receipt. I hope my next experience here is better in that area. It is worth it here because they are clean, professional, good customer service skills and have improved ratings. I wouldn't have came here if I saw bad ratings and ratings only getting worse.

i got my helix pierced by nic on june 30. he was kind, professional, and gave an overall great experience. the backing of my helix fell out after about a week of it being pierced. immediately after getting pierced, i asked him if it was internally threaded or threadless and he assured me it was internally threaded. he told me that externally threaded jewelry is bad quality and not good, especially for new piercings (something i am aware of). turns out, i was pierced with $65 EXTERNALLY threaded jewelry!? as seen in the photo attached, the left is my neometal threadless labret and the right is what i was pierced with. externally threaded jewelry that tears up the piercing channel and hinders healing. really unfortunate because ive had otherwise great piercing experiences at adrenaline!

I bought piercing jewellery from here twice and both times I was supremely disappointed. Within days of purchasing the first one the jewel fell out, I was not given a receipt, had paid with cash and thus could not properly prove that I had, in fact, bought the jewellery there. The second time, after a friend had convinced me to give this place a second chance I purchased a second. The same result happened within a couple of weeks. I will never be setting foot in this place again to buy anything sold here; as I am now left with two empty shells I cannot wear and $60.00 poorer for this experience.

I have been going to Adrenaline since I was 18 and started getting pierced there younger. I adore this place, and they do such good work all the time! The staff are always friendly and they have top quality jewelry with a really good selection. I would especially like to say thanks to Matt - a fantastic piercer who always does A+ work, and Trevor - a wonderful tattoo artist who I have been going to for years. Marty, one of the managers I believe, has always made me feel welcome and appreciated. The owner Joey is super cool and chill too! All in all, Adrenaline has been my go-to for years. :) Would 10/10 recommend for anyone - either a newcomer to body mods or a veteran.

I’ve been by the shop before and had great experiences before but my most recent time not so much. Went with my S.O for their appointment and was hoping to look at some jewellery for myself too but the guy working the front of the store, Josh, couldn’t have been more unwelcoming to us. He was unapproachable and almost felt like he was annoyed we were there in the first place. The other staff there were perfectly nice and friendly but having the front of the store worker be so unwelcoming to patrons makes it seem my business isn’t wanted.

I went to get my belly button done two years ago and it rejected. The guy who did it (don't remember his name possibly Nick) he gave me a standered bellyring. As I was asking him how to clean etc he started making hot chocolate and giving me one word answers. I'm a chubby girl and I obviously swelled up as well so the top ball began sinking into my skin. I went back a week later because I was scared and this lovely girl Whitney told me he should have given me a LONGER bar to give room to swell and I agreed. I brought a ring from my work place and she helped put it in and recommend me to get it checked out at Exotic. I ended up spending $100. I gave $10 tip the jewelry and cleaning solution. Now I have a scar on my belly. Great place. Just bad experience.

Ok so I got my very first two tattoo at adrenaline and I read a lot of good reviews about it. Honestly it wasn’t that good for the price I had to pay and the environment wasn’t very professional. Both times felt really rushed and the second time I had a horrible tatto artist that gave both me and my friend bad attitude. I honestly didn’t realize how bad adrenaline was until I went to chronic in for my third tatto. Thier store is MUCH PROFFESIONAL by FAR. Better environment, proffesional people, and I was surprised when they drew me different options and double checked with me if the sizing was right since I didn’t get the same experience from adrenaline.

I haven't had a tattoo done here, but if anyone is looking for good quality piercings check this place out. My friend had her belly button done there, and I went back with her again so she could get her tragus and I got my nostril (I already have septum/belly button/conch/lobes). I can't recall the name of our piercer, but he was a guy with his bridge, high nostrils and both nostrils and did a fantastic job. Everything was incredibly clean and sanitary, professional, and the staff were all friendly as well. I also recommend their after care spray (Simple Care). Normally I stick to salt water, chamomile tea, and/or tea tree oil, but the spray is really great and soothing for new piercings or an old one acting up (I've had hypertrophic scarring on my conch and this stuff helped it in literally a day).

I live out of town and took a trip to Toronto with my friends for a concert/girls trip. We decided to get matching tattoos for the occasion and walked in on a Friday afternoon and to my surprise we were welcomed as soon as we stepped inside. The staff was super helpful and accommodating and it took about 15 minutes to draw something up and go back to see the artist. Our artist was Crystal and she was the nicest artist I’ve ever had tattoo me! My third friend forget her ID and was bummed that she couldn’t get one with us so Crystal put a matching stencil on her so she wasn’t left out. From the lady who helped us out in the beginning to meeting the artist and even the person who we paid with everyone was extremely nice and not at all arrogant and rude like most tattoo shops I’ve been too. I was super happy with my experience and if I ever come back to Toronto and decide to get inked I’m definitely coming back here!

was super excited to get some peony tattoos; one on each arm that was pretty close to identical looking. the first peony took about 4 hours and was done very nicely but the second tattoo took about 2 hours and you could easily tell the artist (Joe Baker) was rushing through the second tattoo as the shading and details weren’t as well done. come around to healing time, like i said, the first one was done very nicely and the healing was easy but the second peony that was rushed and lacking had so much trouble healing; it was scabbing and oozing. I now have one pretty peony and one that is blown out and muddy. I contacted Joe regarding the tattoo and he said he could get me in for the touch up but if i’m being honest, i’d rather just have it removed by laser than have him try and fix it up the mess

I cannot recommend Adrenaline enough when you are looking into getting tattoos or piercings in the GTA. They have a nice big convenient facility right on Queen street west, tons of staff so they are always ready to work with walk ins and make booking appointments really easy. All the tattoo artists do marvelous and diverse work. The people doing the piercings are all really good regardless of your comfort level. I brought my mother to get her belly button pierced, brought my sister for her first tattoo and I already bring all my friends here when they want to get work done. The staff are always friendly and courteous and make me feel comfortable and at home. So seriously their work is professional, and of the highest caliber. If you live anywhere in the GTA and want to get pierced or tattooed Adrenaline really is the place to go!

I'v arranged for a laser appointment at Adrenaline and after 3 treatments I can see how the faded the tattoos has come with PicoSure done by Nilu. Keep in mind all tattoo removal treatments can work faster or take longer depending on the size. I would recommend laser tattoo removal at Adrenaline. Makes me feel good when I look in the mirror seeing the old faded tattoo disappearing!

Basically I haven't gone into the shop. But I was looking at getting my first tattoo, I called and they said Alanna would be great for the tattoo (I already saw a tattoo she did on someone that I liked) and to email her for the price. I email her and showed her the picture of the tattoo she did and asked how much she charged for that particular tattoo so I can start saving money and I waited and waited for a response. After about 3 weeks she responds and says to please come in and she will do a consultation to see how much it would cost me. I didn't really understand why I need to come in to hear the price of that one tattoo. I explained in another email that I live a 2 hour bus ride away (one way) so if she could please just give me a general price. And it's been another few weeks with no response. She's posting new tattoos on social media everyday and telling people to email inquiries yet she doesn't respond. Pretty poor customer service which is unfortunate because I was willing to get my first tattoo and other future tattoos from this shop. Also places like chronic ink which is a busier shop, responded within 2 days with a detailed message and pricing. Needless to say, I'm unimpressed.

My experience here was great! Walked in and got greeted by a friendly staff member who helped me decide on a piercing, and fill out the forms. I got my cartilage pierced by Luke, and it was so quick and painless I couldn’t believe I even got pierced. While paying I felt very shaky, and the girl behind the cash was super nice and even offered me a cup of water. Very friendly staff, clean and welcoming space, good vibe and I would definitely come back.

Went into the shop to have touch up done on my left sleeve. Had a list of 4 very specific fixes I wanted done, James Williston agreed to do them. After I took the bandage off the next day I realized he had only fixed one side of the wings I asked to have fixed. Absolutely ridiculous, the wings look even worse than before because now you can clearly see the other side needs to be touched up. Also charged me for 2 hours when it took only 1 hour. I left a 30% tip and now I need another session to fix things that I asked to have finished the first time. There are other shops around the GTA better than this.

I went there for a new tattoo and met with Joe Baker, the guy is super nice and welcoming. We worked on my left arm sleeve for a few session until summer arrived and then I took a break for summer... His attention to detail is amazing, I gave him ideas and I let him create a piece of art. One of the owner or manager there was super nice, came to see the work, gave me a t-shirt, every time I go back they ask about me and care to listen for the answer. Joe was super nice and generous. I can't wait to go back and finish my left arm sleeve. I recommend this place. Just make sure you click with your artist!!

I love this shop and they provide INCREDIBLE tattoos however when going in for my tattoo appointment I was told (by floor staff) to change the placement, font and size of the tattoos I was planning on getting at the time of the appointment. i understand font and sizing however, the placement I originally had would have been perfectly fine i'm not sure why I was told to change it. (they also had me change artists because mine cancelled.) So now I have two tattoos i'm not 100% happy with however they are still amazing quality but this sudden placement change has caused me to not like them as much as my original placement plans.

I wish I had posted a review sooner as my first tattoo was done by Todd at this location over a year ago. The tattoo still looks fresh. My brother and I came here last night to get matching tattoos. Our artist, Johnny, was a very nice guy, considerate in asking us how we felt about the placement of the tattoo and careful in providing us as much aftercare details as possible. I’m planning on getting another piece done next month and hope for the same friendly and helpful experience!

Had an incredible experience at Adrenaline. I'm absolutely terrified of needles and was pushing myself through the fear to get a piercing. I was immediately greeted at the door and was given the most amazing customer service. I didn't grab his name, but he was so incredibly kind about my fear and tried distracting me and reassuring me I was in the best hands. It was noon on a Saturday but there was zero wait time. My piercer Nick acknowledged my fear but didn't allow me a second to be scared. He talked me through some deep breaths and the piercing was over in seconds and PAINLESS. Like .. PAINLESS. His technique was flawless. It's been two weeks and the piercing is healing perfectly. I highly recommend this place.

I’ve gotten two piercings at Adrenaline. I got my daith piercing back in April and my second nose piercing about a month ago. Both done by the amazingly talented Zara. She was super nice both timessuper clean, very understanding and over all an amazing piercer. She also pierced my friend’s nose for the first time and was very understanding about being nervous. 10/10 experience. She explained everything to my mom about the daith piercing and when I came back for a jewelry change she was equally as eager to help as when I did my piercing. I will definitely be going back to her for more fun body modes. I recommend Adrenaline to all my friends and especially recommend her.

I was visiting Toronto for some days and thought a tattoo would be nice. So me and my friend entered the store, no one said Hi or anything. That was unusual. So we went up to the girl for an appointment, she didn't seem to enjoy her job and wasn't really motivated to help us out. So Andrew checked out our motives and I went back to the hotel. At 2.30pm I went back to the shop, filled out the form and went upstairs for waiting. About an hour later I could go in for my tatt. Andrew asked about the placement, I told him where I would want it and asked if he approves, since he's the professional. He was like 'yea whatever, as long as you like it' and started the tattoo. Now the needle. Holy mother of god, I have never seen a needle this thick. And it was loud af. He asked me about the detailing and shadowing and I actually only wanted the outlines. Well, at least he asked. When we were done, he didn't tell me how to take care of it. When I left the shop I was quite happy with the tattoo, but when I gave it a closer look, the stars look... Well more like A s. All in all, the tattoo is nice, it had a lot longer to heal than my tattoos usually do. The people were almost rude, the communication in there seems not to be very well. We both felt unsafe and not taken seriously in there.

My boyfriend and I, very last minute, decided to get our first tattoos here! We chose it based on the great reviews online. We were welcomed warmly and promptly. My tattoo artist was extremely professional and kind. As it was my first tattoo I was a little nervous. She was patient and made sure that I was 100% certain (and verbally stated so) before beginning. My boyfriend also had a great experience, he had a guest artist that did a wonderful job! The only issue I found was around post-tattoo care. It was our first tattoos and our artists told us different things, we did not leave with a written copy of steps either. This is partially our fault, however, I would have appreciated a little more focus on after care. Overall, would recommend this place.

Only been 2 times for relatively small tattoos compared to any other I have but never had any issues. Lisa’s an awesome artist that’s talented and always has valid input on tattoo you want. I got medicine wheel from her on my hand I wasn’t sure if the white would work out but had shown me previous tattoos on herself with white and said it would discolor a bit which I was fine with. Overall great shop, I’d recommend this shop to anybody.

I'm not the one to write reviews but my experience at Adrenaline this week has irked me. My grandfather passed away and my boss gave me the rest of the day off. I have 27 tattoos (3 of which were done at Adrenaline), so I have a fair bit of experience getting inked. I wanted to honor my grandfather, who was never without a tie, with a small, 2 inch x half inch single needle, icon style tie. Luckily, they were able to take me within the hour of me walking in. That was nice. My artist was Todd, who is much more talented than a simple black line drawing, but he handled my tattoo expertly. The whole thing was finished in less than half an hour.

I recently got a dotwork mandala tattoo at Adrenaline at their Queen West location from Laurel and she was phenomenal! The tattoo ended up taking longer than she had me scheduled for, but despite this, she pushed through and finished the entire piece just so she wouldn't send me home with an unfinished tattoo. She stayed over 2 hours past her schedule on a Monday night so that she could finish - incredible dedication and patience! The tattoo is healing wonderfully and I couldn't be any happier with how it turned out. It's the best tattoo I've gotten to date and Laurel is a 1000/10 as both an artist and as a person. I would highly recommend her - she's super talented!

Heard lots of great reviews so I decided to get my helix pierced here. A simple piercing I think in my opinion. I had some girl do it and she messed it up. The piercing is crooked and angles downwards when it should just go straight across. Now I have to get it redone elsewhere. Never coming back here.

I've always wanted to get either a piercing or tattoo done at this place, as every time I would go in to browse jewelry I would have a good experience. I decided to get my septum re-pierced here in August of 2018, I had it done before at reactive ink which I HIGHLY recommend over this place. First, the guy pierced it completely crooked, I looked like an idiot, and he blamed it on the fact that I had a deviated septum which according to other piercing places, I don't. I wanted to cry, and asked him to fix it, he goes "oh okay I know what look you're going for" ????? A normal look?????? He took out the ring and did it again. Even though it was still slightly crooked I just wanted to get out of there. The only reason I'm writing this review (7 months later) is because IT STILL HURTS. 7 months later. When I got it originally pierced at reactive ink it took 2 weeks to heal. The hole also closes within 2 hours if I take it out, which never used to happen. I have no idea what this guy did to my nose. I'll definitely never be going back here.

So I spontaneously got my very first tattoo done by Anthony yesterday! (I don't know his last name, not up on their website yet). He said he was from New Zealand, than was in Australia for a while, and he's now in Toronto for a while, checking it out! :) So ya, he tattooed a small quote on my wrist that I wrote in my own handwriting and copied it very precisely. It didn't take him very long, and the lines are super crisp and it actually turned out quite elegant, I love it!!! :) And because it was my first, I was being meticulous and he was very patient with me and wanted to make sure I was sure and comfortable! He even let me place the stencil down myself (because I asked). First tattoo done! wahoo and thank you Anthony for it being the ideal experience!!

The nicest group of people in the world. They saw I was nervous and talked to me like they knew me for years. They talked me through the whole process (tattooing and piercing) making sure I was happy with placements. They checked it with my friend to make sure we were both happy. They even wanted till I was completely ready and didn't rush me at all. The best part is when my artist, Kelly, was doing my design she realized there was a word that she would spell differently (Fuel) and she took the time to stop and look it up and even asked my friend. In all honestly that made the experience that much more special cause it showed she genuinely cared about her clients. Prices were also realistic and manageable. Wait times were super quick and the process was even quicker. But the quality was still impeccable. I will definitely be back when I'm ready to get some more work done. I'd been tattooed several times before I visited Adrenaline, and I'm impressed with the place enough to have gotten three done from them (including a half sleeve). They were done by three different artists too, so I'm not basing my experience off one single person. The staff were professional, courteous and outgoing; a far cry from a few places I've been to before. Recommended Adrenaline to a friend for her first, and they made the experience as painless and smooth for her as possible. They sit with you and properly discuss your art/idea, offering their creative insight and even going so far as to suggest colors that would best suit your skin tone (I'm brown by ethnicity). I've since moved out of the country, but I'd hands down go back to get more work done.

After two failed attempts during childhood to have my ears pierced at salons using piercing guns, I decided to go to a real tattoo/piercing shop to have it done by the pros. Everything was great, I was very impressed with the service I received. Shop attendants were very friendly and helpful, selection of starter jewelry (all hypoallergenic surgical steel) was decent, didn't have to wait long to get pierced and piercer was very friendly, knowledgeable and quick. He was able to open up my existing piercings with a blunt tool (even after not wearing any earrings in them for 10+ years!) instead of fully re-piercing. Shop was clean, sanitary procedures were followed in front of me. Overall, I really liked that this shop didn't have a pretentious or judgmental vibe that some other tattoo shops I have been to have if you walk in and don't have a face full of piercings or body covered in tattoos. Everyone was very friendly, upbeat and helpful. Would recommend to a friend!

I've had three piercings now by Matt, and one of them in a not so... "visible" area. the only guy I'll go to for my piercing needs in the city. Chill. Clean. Professional. Tzara pierced me (I have also had a previous piercing by her), she is skilled, kind, and talent; I highly recommend her if you're looking for a piercing. The gentleman mentioned there was an hour window available but wouldn’t be enough for the two words without even seeing what I wanted to get done. Love the service! Had my second tattoo removal done by Kindra, she is absolutely amazing to deal with. I dealt with Joey initially and had a great experience with him, was a little disappointed when I was told he wasn't available but after meeting Kindra, let me reassure you that their entire staff is amazing to deal with. So far I'm really happy with the outcome and looking forward to seeing an old bad decision tattoo removed. I'm really confident in Kindra and her incredible personality will blow you away! Highly recommend.

I was in town with my mom on a trip celebrating my culmination of cancer treatment. We decided we wanted to get tattoos to commemorate the trip and this place had good reviews. We went in without an appointment and told them what we were looking for. They said they could do it in an hour. We came back right on time and sat around for about forty five minutes before our assigned artist came over. He then escorted us to the front of the store to be tattooed in the window where everyone on the street could watch. The sun was blaring in my face the entire time because there are no shades and it was bizarre to have strangers staring at me. When we were finished, I went to pay and they told me I had to pay my artist cash because he is an apprentice and doesn't take cards because he's not an employee of the shop. He also charged us about $150 over what what originally quoted. So, like...why they didn't tell me all of that up front is beyond me. Tattoo is healed and the line work is definitely not great. Blurry and sloppy in sections. I would not recommend going unless there's a specific artist you're working with. Shady move, Adrenaline Tattoos. I have dozens of tattoos and should have minded the red flags along the way, but y'all are not the stand up shop your overall rating portrays. I hope you'll reflect on your practices with walk ins and tourists in the future.

Was pleasantly surprised to find this place. It was across the street from our hotel and the large pride flag in the window attracted our attention. We were drawn in by the LGBT friendly shirts on display by the door. Staff were all very friendly, helpful, and chill and the products were awesome. Though what we wanted wasn't on a special promo like other similar items, the rep offered them to us at a discount without us asking. I hope that many more stores like this start popping up around the country with the same level of service. 10/10 recommended especially if you're LGBT.

I have to say she is absolutely stellar. Her sweet disposition made me comfortable and she was so helpful. I have had sub par experiences at other shops in Toronto. I was very impressed with my whole time there. James was my artist, he was amazing! He gets in the zone and is all business. The finished tattoo was so much better than what I had expected. I've had three tattoos done here, one a few years ago, one last year, and one two weeks ago. I was beyond nervous for my first one, but everyone there helped me to feel safe and as relaxed as I could be while getting tattooed on my ankle! The people here are friendly, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to make getting tattooed as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The artists are incredibly talented and a pleasure to talk to and work with to make your tattoo vision come to life. They check up on you multiple times during the process, and are happy to let you take a break if you need it. I trust them with my skin and I would recommend this place to anyone! I've never been pierced here, but all the piercing appointments I've seen when I've been in have seemed to go well, so I'd be comfortable giving getting pierced here a try as well. Adrenaline, you guys are awesome, and I'm looking forward to getting my next tattoo done with you soon!

Marty and his staffs are absolutely amazing. I’ve been to Adrenaline twice before and every time I come here, everyone is so nice. Trevor was so detailed and professional, I highly recommend him. I was so impressed with Adrenaline, I decided to go back couple months after to get another tattoo done. However, I wasn’t happy with the tattoo this time since the guest artist didn’t understand what i wanted. I sent Marty an email to see if I could get it touched up by a different tattoo artist and he introduced me to Joe, who was incredibly sweet and polite. I know it must be frustrating to fix someone else’s work for free but Joe was so helpful and understanding. I’m very happy and will be visiting Adrenaline again. Thank you Marty, Trevor and Joe!!!! P.s I got my ear pierced here as well and the piercer was such a delight and informative. The piercings healed nicely. I think his name was Steve? I came to Adrenaline today to buy earrings for my sister's birthday. The sales associate who came up to me was very rude from the beginning, and told me I should just get her a gift card. I tried to explain I knew the correct size and style perfectly, and she told me they don't have much selection anyways. It was if she didn't even want me in the store. I left very disappointment, especially because I was going to come back in a week or two to get my own piercings done.

Staff came off quite rude in the 2 visits that I did. They refuse to let me even talk to the tattoo artist that I was comfortable with, let alone discuss a tattoo, and the owner/manager strictly told me to leave if I wasnt getting a tattoo the same day of my visit. Moreover, it took 5 minutes for a staff member to even approach me after I walked into the tattooshop, just to be told to leave because I wasnt planning to get a tattoo the same day. Thankgod I didnt get a tattoo from here.

Hes done script across my upper chest which looks perfect! full forearm with realism roses and full upper arm and shoulder with a realistic lion head. Heard really great things about Adrenaline and their awesome artists, however my experience fell short. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and then continued to wait, without any sort of communication from anyone, for 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I ended up requesting a refund of my deposit, and left disappointed. I am sure, given all the glowing reviews, that who ever chooses Adrenaline for their next tattoo or piercing will leave happy and satisfied. Unfortunately that was not the case for me. Note to the owner and employees- clients. guests, customers, how ever you refer to the people paying for your services, are more likely to patiently wait when you are open and honest about having to wait, and how long one might have to wait for.

I got a small tat on my inner arm done here on a whim for my friend's bday, which wound up an absolute disaster after it healed and the ink spread out and bled to twice the size of the original tattoo. I returned to ask to have it fixed (which I was even willing to pay for) and was pointed in the direction of THE RUDEST person I've dealt with in a long time, a tattoo artist named Todd. This man was condescending, arrogant, and diserespectful. I will never go back to Adrenaline because of him. I should add that I'm quite heavily tattooed and have been getting tattooed by various artists in various Toronto shops since 1995. Never have I had ink bleed out like this on me, nor have I had someone be this incredibly rude.

Love this place. Been here twice for nose piercings and my friend has been here like 7 times for ear piercings and we have both never had any issue with them. Our walkins were always easy and fast and appointments are even faster. Got my septum pierced here with no isssues what so ever when another place told me some weird answer about a septum not fitting my nose.

I got my first tattoo at adrenaline about 3 years ago. The artist traced the design on my arm, I gave the OK, then he looked at it again and said it’s not straight... erased the whole thing and redid it. He said he lined it up with the bone in my arm so that no matter how my body changes over the years, it will remain straight. I would’ve had no idea, and I’m so grateful that the artist took the time to correct it. All the staff are kind and courteous, and the place is very clean and welcoming. Will return for all my tattoos, and highly recommend to everyone!

Honestly I was really upset with how my belly button piercing turned out. Not only was it skewed the the left, but it was also pierced so shallow that my skin was ripping every time I would touch it. I ended up having to take it out and I won't be going back.

I am very upset with the artist Raidel.. I was getting an old tattoo fixed.. I live in a small town and I travelled 4 hours for this appointment.. first off he didn’t even say hi how are you and when I started making conversation he didn’t even reply he just said -_- so what are we doing today? I was shocked but I proceeded anyway and he literally turned on the tv while I was getting my tattoo done and was watching football and kept pausing during my tattoo to watch the game.. I’ve never seen such disrespect from an artist.. then he said he doesn’t have time for anything else meanwhile my appointment was supposed to be 4 hours.. he tattooed for maybe half hour and charged me $200. He didn’t care that I travelled so far and didn’t care for my existence he just wanted the cash.. I’m assuming he had plans and shooed my out. Soooo terrible I can’t believe he has clients. Even though his art is good I will never ever recommend him.

I was a regular client of Adrenaline's location in Vancouver before visiting the Toronto location and thought that I would receive the same quality work I did on the west coast. The staff was friendly, I vibed well with my artist, and the shop was clean but I am not happy with the tattoo I received a few months ago in Toronto. When my tattoo healed the linework was off and the tattoo was patchy. I followed the same tattoo aftercare that was recommended to me and did not expose my tattoo to sunlight or excessive amounts of water during the healing process. Over all I am very disappointed as I will have to spend more money to have my tattoo touched up elsewhere.

I did a walk-in tattoo here and had a wonderful experience! Some tattoo studios I've been in have had unfriendly vibes - this one immediately felt welcoming, and the gentleman who greeted me when I first went in was very pleasant and helpful, although I didn't catch his name. I was tattooed by Kelly, who was excellent. She was so friendly and totally put me at ease, we had fun conversation throughout the whole time she tattooed me. My tattoo was on my stomach and is usually a pretty painful spot to get ink, but it wasn't bad at all and I think that was definitely due to Kelly's skill. I was super happy with the result, absolutely beautiful work! After, when I paid, the girl at the front desk was super friendly and helpful too and gave me tips on aftercare. All in all, I had a great experience here and I would definitely recommend Adrenaline Tattoos and Kelly!

I was referred to Adrenaline by someone I know which is always a good sign. I had passed the place about a million times prior but never had been in. When inside, I loved the vibe. All the artists and employees seemed to be genuinely enjoying themselves which immediately lifted our already high spirits. They have a lot of really funky stuff in the shop and I will surely return to have a look at some of that but yesterday I was there to get inked. I chose Todd Marritt as my artist and I was thoroughly impressed by his patience, sense of humour, professionalism and artistry. I got my nipples pierced here about a year and a half ago by a female (don't remember her name) the process was great, she was fast and it didn't hurt much. However, the jewelry she used was way too short, it was being swallowed. They would be too short for my nipples even if they weren't swollen... Because of that incident I have bumps now and they give me trouble until this day. I still do salt soaks etc. I did go back after 2 weeks and Nic (who was great) changed them to a longer length. Just annoyed that I paid $100 and because of a dumb mistake they are still giving me so much trouble.

We went in for a last minute appointment. Both me and my friend got very small tattoos. He got a rose about three inches wide/half inch high and we were charged 150$. His tattoo took about 20 min to complete. I received a very well done small panda which looks awesome but I was charged almost 200$. Great artist and customer service but pricing was way too high.

Getting my first tattoo with Jon was a breeze with a pinch. I wanted my very first tattoo to be placed in my hand with Jon being reluctant at first. It being my first tattoo and placing it in supposedly the one of the most painful places to get a tattoo, he advised me otherwise. But my Gemini side being hardheaded and insistent prodded him to continue with the tattoo with the session being 5 hours long. He showed me his sketches of his take on my vision, I was happy with how he envisioned it. He also allowed me to do last minute changes to how I wanted my tattoo. He put the stencil sketch on my hand and showed me how it would look on my hand. Letting me know the pros and cons of tattoo placement but always respected my choice. He constantly asked if I was alright and made sure I was okay the whole time. He made me aware of my choice to take breaks to eat/drink/smoke etc. He was always listening to what I had to say never interrupting me and was a good conversationist. The session ended in 4 hours with my tattoo looking sick! Jon, becoming my new tattoo artist/friend, explained about the aftercare and told me I had to come back after 3 weeks for a re-touch and another session to do the rest of the tattoo. Overall, my whole experience gained me confidence in getting another tattoo with @JonBathurst and in @Adrenaline.

I've been to previous tattoo artists and places, but I especially loved my experience at Adrenaline ! The service was incredibly fast- I walked in on a Wednesday night, I had no previous appointment, Spencer helped me out immediately, and pulled up the design I wanted. I had James as my tattoo artist and he was fantastic! I decided to get a blackstar as a tribute to David Bowie, James immediately recognized the design from the album and was enthusiastic. He made excellent suggestions about placement, which looked better than I had originally wanted it which was great! While the tattoo was being done, he played some music off of Bowie's album Outside, which made the experience even better! Very accommodating. Great atmosphere, great customer service, great tattoo and at great price! I am very happy with my latest tattoo! Would definitely recommend this place in Toronto for a tattoo.

It's usually great, I've had tattoos and piercings done here. However, the 2 star review is for today ( as I feel bad putting a 1 star on anything). The place is supposed to be closed by 12am, got across the street by 11:30 and was just waiting for the light to change when I see them close up and leave. I usually wouldn't mind it so much. Except I have a piercing that's so tight I can't get it off and early tomorrow I have a medical exam that requires me to have all my piercings off. I'm kinda left with few options here and it could have been avoided if they at least waited 10 or 15 min before closing time to close, not a full half hour.

When the back of my piercing fell out I was unsure whether Adrenaline would have the right back for it given that it was from a brand they do not stock. However, Adrenaline is situated close by and so I decided to try it anyway. I was fidgety waiting for the piercer as I thought I was probably wasting my time! It turns out they did not have the right back for it BUT they took out the piece that was there and noticed it needed cleaning. Not only did they spend time cleaning out it's intricate setting but also advised me to wear something more simple for a while as the piercing was taking strain from the large piece (which is also difficult to clean under). Not only all this but they actually GAVE me a simple bar to wear so I did not have to spend money on some temporary jewellery just to keep the hole open and happy. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the person who went to all this trouble. My bad. In any case, I should be able to get it next time as I'm sure to go back!

Really rude staff with some serious attitude problems that are just unnecessary when a costumer is being polite and respectful. Wanted to get a 8 gage tunnel and when I asked the girl there if she thought stainless steel was good or if I should get the titanium and how it was better she said to go look it up myself since Google is on my cell. I didn't have a cell phone at the time and she lost a 40$ sale and all future sales from me. I have 17 piercings And I like to change them up alot.

I recently went to Adrenaline for a Laser Tattoo Removal session with the incredible Nilu. I have a relatively large tattoo on my back and was nervous of how this would go.... but I’m happy to say that it was painless, quick, and so easy. Nilu’s attention to detail is amazing and she made me feel so comfortable. I’ve been wanting to do this for years and I’m so glad I went here for it. Tbh I've never been here but after an hour of reading all the horrible comments and seeing the common complaints of horrible customer service and most staff being unknowledgable I would NEVER come here and would NEVER expect or recommend anyone else to come here... Came across this because I was thinking about possibly getting a tattoo.... They lost a customer before even going there...I see some of the responses from the owner always state "we pride ourselves in customer service" but if you guys truly did you would not have this many 1 star reviews all saying the SAME sh**t! You guys really need to reconsider who you hire and have a better hiring process because with horrid customer service you will never have a good client basis with anyone and every new customer who even considers getting their tattoo, piercing or products here and is smart enough to look at all the reviews will turn their heads and go someplace else. I seriously recommend fixing that problem ASAP. As I said before, you just lost a possible customer from that. Wish you guys the best in fixing those problems and moving forward to a better, beautiful and kind enviornment, until then I'm out.. very sorry.

Me and my husband went to adrenaline tattoos, and each got a tattoo, probably about 1 1/2 months ago. Since then we have went back 3 or 4 times, and will be going more. We love the work Joe baker does. Joe and crystal a very friendly, nice, and real people, you know sometimes you go to businesses and you get workers who just "act" like their you friends to make a sale, well we dont get that feeling with crystal and joe. We love going there!!!

I recently visited Adrenaline to have someone look at some issues I was having with an Industrial piercing, and was greeted by Marty who was really friendly and understanding considering I didn't have the piercing done at Adrenaline. He was more concerned with getting the piercing checked out. I had it checked by Whitny and she was amazing. She was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions; an overall lovely person! I ended up having two smaller bars replace the single industrial piercing and before they put them in, I wasn't sure if I could be able to pay for two new piercings that day; ultimately Marty told me that he was more concerned with my health and getting the piercing totally healed and that we could work something out. This is by far one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had and I'm so grateful to all of the staff especially Marty and Whitny. 10/10 would recommend Adrenaline to everyone and it's the only tattoo parlour I will ever do business with. Laura is amazing! My two sisters and I came in to get a tattoo done after falling in love with Laura's work online. We had our consultation and weren't sure exactly what we were going to do but she was willing to draw up whatever we had in mind if we emailed her some pictures. We showed up yesterday for our appointment and were in awe when we saw her sketch! It was exactly what we had imagined, she had almost nothing to go on and somehow managed to make it perfect! Wish I could take that one star away. The person who "took care" of my girlfriends piercing was atrocious. I believe his name was Nick, but it was the most unprofessional service I have ever witnessed. Rude, incompetent and even refused to do the piercing because he was absolutely clueless. Seemed to have a stick up his behind. My recommendation. Go somewhere else for piercing or at the very least make sure the person you are working with has some common sense.

A while ago he did a day lily on me, really realistic and with no black outline just like I wanted. He for sure didn’t disappointed me so I want back and got him to do a mermaid for me. Also great freaking job. Never felt like I needed to post a review until today. I walk in last week to get a tattoo of me precious dog who passed away and I think nobody else couldn’t done a better job then Jane. Loved my experience here especially since I was in town for a conference from Montana and it was my second piercing in 22 years. The piercer, Nick, was very nice, polite, and helpful when it came to deciding the type of jewelry would best fit my skin sensitivity. Nick was very good at explaining the placing of my piercing since I have small ears. He was very clean, skilled but quick with doing not just my daith piercing but also my friend's piercing. We walked in spur of the moment and had our piercings done within 15 minutes from walking through the front door to paying for our piercings. There are very few aca piercers in Toronto and the price was very reasonable. Since we are out of country he connected us to an aca piercer in Montana if we had any issues. The owner also gave us a tour of the upstairs tattooing parlors and the cashier gave us free lapel pins! Very friendly and clean shop with skilled piercers and tattoo artists.

Got a navel piercing here a few days ago and I absolutely love it. Everyone was super friendly and chill especially the guy that greeted me. It was so fast, probably was in there less than 5 min and barely felt anything which was a good thing. Only thing was I wish they were a bit more informative about after getting a piercing like things we should avoid and provided more information about the after care as it was my first piercing. Just seemed a bit rushed after getting it, went to pay right away then received a card that provided aftercare info but it was a bit broad on how to clean it. However if you do have any questions they were happy to answer but during the time I didn't really know what I needed to know until after I got home. Overall I personally enjoyed my experience here, hopefully will be back!

Amazing service!!! I was researching a place to get a 25 year old tattoo removed when a friend recommended Adrenaline. During the initial email to set up an appointment with technician Joey, he was very professional and knowledgeable about their latest and advanced technology that he invested in. In consultation I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable I was about a procedure that once scared me. Comfortable to the point where I stared the session that exact day. Everything possible was done to ensure my comfort level. It's been 5 days and although I would need a few more sessions I've noticed quite a bit of fading already and the healing process is going a lot better than anticipated. His staff is amazing and accommodating, to the point where I got another tattoo!!! Yes I did, the same day and I absolutely love it, different spot of course. Tyler is a boss with serious attention to details!!! Love this place!

Awful place! I went here for my first tattoo. First, they lied about pricing! I asked for a quote for the tattoo and got quoted $250 for a simple black writing tattoo. However, after having the tattoo completed they requested $500!! They claimed the person prior didn't know what they were talking about?! As I was 18 and this being my first tattoo I didn't have $500 I ended up paying all that I had $450 and left... Several days had past, I noticed my tattoo was "raised" (as this is my first tattoo I didn't think much of it). After some research, I realized this happens when artists go too deep with the needle and scarring occurs!!

I got a septum piercing at a different shop. After a few days, I realized the piercing was too tight, but I couldn't return to the place I had originally gotten it done because I was traveling. I called the place I had gotten it done and they said to go to a local shop and get it switched out for a larger size. They said it should be easy and simple. I called Adrenaline and they said that they would be happy to switch it out for me. The guy on the phone was very friendly and accommodating. But, when I arrived, they sent me to the back where a woman took my piercing out. She spent a while trying to ram a bigger piercing into my nose, but she couldn't get it in. She even tried using a tap noer, but that still didn't work. Finally, she told me that I would just have to let it heal and get it repierced over the scar tissue. She told me that she had been piercing for 10 years, and never in her 10 years of work had she seen swelling as bad as I had on a septum. After I left, I called the shop where I originally was pierced and told them what happened. They said Adrenaline really shouldn't have just taken the piercing out and not put something back in because it would take so long to heal and would be hard to get a new one. I was a little skeptical because the woman I saw at Adrenaline was so insistent that the swelling in my nose was terrible that I couldn't have a piercing. I finally decided I wanted a third opinion, so I went to New Tribe Tattoos. I walked in, and within 15 minutes they had put a new piercing in my nose. She said my nose looked fine, and didn't mention anything about swelling. Now, it's been three days and my piercing doesn't hurt at all, there's no swelling, no discharge, no blood... Nothing. It feels like my nose did /before/ I got the piercing. This leads me to think the woman at adrenaline just didn't know what she was doing, and was fishing for an excuse. I hate to leave such a bad review, but I'm SO glad I got a second opinion. Otherwise it would have been MONTHS until I could have gotten pierced again, and then I would have had to do it over scar tissue and caused myself unnecessary pain. I would never go to Adrenaline again.

Tattooist: Aaron Burkhard This place is great at wasting your time. Went in Friday, spoke to Aaron organised for tattoo to be drawn up. Aaron said he'd email tattoo on Saturday to get it signed off by me and do tattoo on Sunday 6pm as he knew I was leaving early Tuesday morning and he didn't work Monday. Saturday didn't receive an email so I email them to ask how it was coming along. Sunday at 4:30pm I receive email from Aaron with drawing. The drawing was of a compass and Roses. All I ask was to make points on compass longer and add points of NW NE SW SE. I also asked how much. On my way in I receive email from Aaron saying he'd have to redraw now because of changes and he couldn't do it tonight as he was booked with someone else. I confronted Aaron at shop and he said cause of changes he'd have to redraw and he couldn't do that tonight. All I asked for was for the points to be longer and add 4 points to the middle. Any great tattooist can do this on the spot or even free hand on the skin. This shows what kind of Tattooist artist Aaron is. Clearly not a great one. He also said to me, I didn't want to do it so quickly due to the drawing. Aaron forgot to mention this on Friday when I gave him the drawing and instead said he was excited to do it. I said to him thanks a lot mate, if you couldn't of done this by today I could of got someone else to do it. Then I left angry. This tattoo meant so much to me as I loved my time in Canada and wanted something to remind me back in Australia of my time here. Aaron ruined that opportunity for me. I think a better more expensive tattoo came up, and Aaron set me up to cancel on me. I can't be sure this I'm only assuming but that's what it sounds like. Otherwise he would of got in touch with me sooner. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Edit added after review: To be fair and completely honest in my review I have to add this. After this review was published I received an email from Aaron saying how bad he felt and offered to come in on his day off to complete tattoo. After the stuff around, I politely declined. I'm not going to get a tattoo where there's bad blood between artist and client it wouldn't feel right to wear that piece of art. Whether he read this review or not before contacting me, it's only fair I add this.

Went at 10am for a 'walk-in' (as I had each time in the past) and I was told that they didn't open until 11am even though I was standing in the store. I can only speak about their piercing services. When I called in advance, they were extremely polite and helpful in answering my questions. I found the piercings to be reasonably priced (and if you’re lucky, you might visit on the days they do a 2 for 1 deal!). They have several options for piercing jewelry. I found that their selection was not as wide as I had hoped. You select from a set of basic gems, studs, or hoops. I had hoped to purchase and get pierced in less generic-looking styles of jewelry. That aside, my whole experience here was absolutely lovely. As soon as I walked in, I was made to feel welcome, and I was helped out right away. They have high standards for cleanliness and allergies, asking beforehand whether you’re allergic to the material of the gloves, etc. I can’t say enough good things, and would recommend this place to others.

I’m actually so angry right now. I came in to purchase a solid gold cartilage ring. I have been buying all my premium solid gold jewellery from them for years! Also got a few of my piercing from them too. Always had amazing customer service and everyone who works there was super friendly until today....The worst customer service and very rude sales associate. The lady who i asked for help was very condescending and rude. Not sure what was her problem was. I took out my cartilage ring to see if the size was similar and wasn’t even touching it their product than she snapped at me that i violated a health violation!! She should at least told me not to take it out in the first place or at least addressed in a polite manner. How am i suppose to know the health and safety act required of the store that taking my own earring wasn’t allowed, no explanation at all!! Buying one of their name brand jewellery line. First off, i wasn’t wasting their time, was actually purchasing something and it was a quick sale. Which i did purchase and now have the biggest regret after being treated that way. The cashier that was behind cash was kind enough to explain the reasoning. After today’s experience i will never go back there again, they don’t deserve my money anymore after 9 years of business. Beyond disappointed about my terrible experience today and no one should ever be treated that way. Loyal customers means nothing!

My daughter was almost in tears from another establishments "helpfulness" and within a minute of Tash talking to her she was in great spirits. She was so adept and it was one of the best interactions of any tattoo parlor we have visited. Because of the great experience I know we will return for some ink as well. Thank you so much Tash!! Great place! Very clean, and friendly staff. My piercer did an amazing job with my rook - no pain afterwards and barely any swelling. The only thing was that she didn't introduce herself or explain the process to me, she just brought me into the room and started putting things on my ear, I had to be the one to ask her what was going on. Otherwise GREAT piercing experience!

Walked in and had Aaron as my tattoo artist and I couldn't be any more happier. He was very patient & wanted my tattoo to be just as perfect with the stencil before starting. Went there for a walk-in tattoo and piercing. The tattoo seemed alright at the time, friendly staff, decent price, pleasant artist. But it has since been slowly leeching into a big mass of black ink. The lines are messy and not at all sharp. This is a 3x3 inch tattoo, which isn't at all small for the design, which is why I'm so disappointed. The piercing was a nightmare. I'm not sure of the name of my piercer but he was literally the most ignorant jerk I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I went in to get my septum pierced, instead of getting the sweet spot, about 80% of the piercing was straight through my cartilage. He snapped at me when I flinched (after he punched a hole through the cartilage), forced the ring through causing ridiculous pain, and then my face bled for the rest of the day. After 5 months of constant care and barely any healing, I removed the piercing to let it heal.

I have had multiple piercings from various places but I can honestly say that Adrenaline is my favourite place. Matt has such a good vibe to him and is super welcoming. I haven't had any problems with healing or with anything else. He also gives great advice if you are undecided with what you want to do. I have brought multiple friends here and they have said the same thing. If you need a new piercing, Matt is the person to go to.

My first experience with adrenaline on queen st was an amazing one. I walked in to be greeted by this really friendly girl (sorry, I don't remember her name) and she gave me a form to fill out. I went with my mother who was asking what it seemed like a hundred questions, and the girl was just answering them all, and trying to put my mother's mind at ease. The wait wasn't long, maybe less than 10 minutes and Nic, the guy who pierced me was friendly as well. As other reviewers mentioned these people are extremely knowledgeable and sterile. It was quick and honestly didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. The cashier who was female was also nice, giving me the number of the store if ever I have any questions, I paid and was on my way. My friend who had two of her tattoos done there introduced me to this place (they look amazing, by the way) and also my other friend who had her septum done there. They both had good experiences there and so did I, I'd recommend this place to anyone else I know who was interested in getting anything done.

So Walked upto the front door where I was first asked"how can wehelp you today". Wanted to get a date revised on an old tribute Tattoo. The girl at the front looked at it like she has never seen an old Tat before and with a grossed out look on her face. Then said " I don't think we can help you today" I guess it was too much of a hassle for her to help me out because it was a small piece and not a big profit, little did she know I was interested in a Back piece as well but her attitude lost a good chunk of money for the shop. I went elsewhere and will never go back to Adrenaline in the future for my other Artwork. Shame on the front door nasty chick. Even worse, took the next walk in after me. Discrimination at its best!

Fine for a tattoo place but still disappointing. The real prices are dishonest, double what they advertise online. It doesn't come with any post-peircing care like other piercing places do, and they didn't tell me any useful info about my piercing, like how long it takes to heal. Also asked me if "this dot is in a good spot" and then did not peirce on the dot lol

I got my ears pierced with Tash and she helped with any anxiety I had and I love the result. I have had multiple tattoos here and always happy with the result. The studio is very clean and they are taking COVID precautions very seriously. Definitely go here for piercing and tattoo needs.

It says walkins welcome. I told the girl at the front my story, and she said although interesting, i dont think i can help you. I did also say I was broke. I walked two doors down and told them the same story, and they still tried to help me. They now have my money, and my tattoo is about to start. I have 9 tattoos, and sometimes you just need a walk-in. Had the girl I spoke to recognized that, maybe my money would be in one of your artists hands instead of the awesome spot beside you called Blind Tiger.

I had a great experience at Adrenaline Tattoo! I walked in without an appointment, and was seen promptly by Chris to explore what I wanted done. I went in for a piercing and originally wanted three piercings on the helix of my ear. I met with Luke, and he advised against the three piercings, as he stated my anatomy did not allow it. I sincerely appreciate his honesty and his professional opinion. Instead of getting the three piercings as planned, I ended up getting two piercings! The process itself was flawless and the pain was minimal. I then paid for my piercings at the cash and was greeted by a lovely, young lady who was welcoming and all smiles. I have had no issues with the piercing and would definitely recommend.

They're also my only tattoos that didn't need to get touched up.

Got my first tattoo yesterday and I love it! I was very nervous about where to go because even the highest reviewed places have scary reviews but adrenaline has always been my go to piercing studio and I love it! It took a little wait but that’s to be expected. Andrew did a great job and he handled my nerves really well and answered any questions I had, great guy! The floor people weren’t the most social but that’s probably because they have to deal with a lot of customers all day. If youre planning to come here, just make sure you don’t have anything afterwards because there might be a wait, but otherwise; great tattoo parlor!

They even hooked them up with some free piercing cleaner solution when they saw my broke-a** friends putting their pennies together to get some. I had my helix pierced here a few months ago and have consistently struggled with healing it. After getting another piercing done at another tattoo shop, I was told by their piercer that my piercing had been done on two angles instead of straight as it should have been. I was also never told to have the piercing downsized in a few weeks once the swelling had gone down. The cleaning process they told me to use at Adrenaline was also completely inadequate. I was told to use q tips to remove crust on the piercing but this left me with fibers from the q tip wrapped around my piercing that another piercer had to remove. I now run the risk of having to take out my piercing completely because of the angle it was pierced, it may never heal properly. Supremely unimpressed and disappointed with my piercing experience here

Adrenaline is amazing! Everyone there is super welcoming and friendly, making the overall feel of the place very inviting. Everyone is knowledgable of piercing and tattoo processes and care, and I definitely recommend it to anyone. I went to get my septum pierced and the piercer was very friendly and we chatted while he was prepping the stuff. Everything is super clean, new and sterile, the actual piercing also didn't hurt. I went back at a later time because I lost the bead at the end of my ring, and I went in to purchase another one; turns out they gave me one free of charge! You will not be disappointed with the service there!
