Chris is the bomb!!! I've had four tattoos before him with fantastic artists but Chris's artistry is on a whole other level. He is contentious, punctual, kind, gentle, spiritual, financially clear and of his word, and has his stuff together. His space is small but it is clean and his health standards are right on the mark. I'm in the process of a full arm sleeve with Odd Tattoo and I'm already thinking about how to continue working with Chris after this arm is done. Highly, highly recommend!!!

I came to Chris for a nose piercing. I have gotten my nose pierced before in Edmonton at another place and the girl had basically tortured me and there was blood all over my face. She had put the needle through, took it out, then tried poking my nose for 30 minutes until she could get the ring in (which is not what you are supposed to do... i have a scar around the place where she pierced it still. Then the hole closed and I came to odd tattoo to get it re-pierced. WHAT CAN I SAY, THIS GUY IS GOOD!!! I hardly felt it and he pierced my nose and put the ring in within 30 seconds (doing the ring and needle in one go, also he is very clean and everything was sanitized. He's awesome, u won't regret it! I wish I came to him the first time.

Chris pierced my nose a few weeks ago and it was a great experience. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone for a piercing. The shop was very clean and the process was very quick and painless. Chris was very kind and his pricing is very reasonable. The only downside is that there isn't a choice of what jewelery you get pierced with and I don't know if he pierces with outside jewelry however, I personally didnt have a problem with it!

I came to Chris to get my lower sleeve done and it came out amazing! I sent him some pictures and described the general idea of what I wanted. He made some suggestions and changed some things which made the sleeve look much nicer than what I had imagined. His combination of thick and thin lines are dope and the way he does his shading is what I like the most. People always ask me if they can take a look at my tatty and always ask who did It once they're done looking at it. Ive probably given his info to at least 5 randoms already. He also told me how to PROPERLY take care of my tattoo while it was healing. All my other tattoos I got done by different people and they all scabbed and faded pretty bad after they were done healing. I followed chris directions and bought the cream he recommended. There was no scabbing at all and the tattoo healed in within a week and a half for all 3 sessions. Tattoo is now fully healed and the tattoo looks nice and dark just how I wanted it to look. I will for sure go back to him to finish my sleeve next winter. Very happy with the finished product. ????????????

Chris is an incredible artist! He did my first ever tattoo on the top of my foot right for a “mother/daughter” script piece. Both my mom’s tattoo and mine have healed perfectly and I still get compliments about how clean it is to this day (the tattoos are a couple years old). Let’s be honest, the top of the foot is no fun to tattoo ???? and my leg began to shake half way through. I’m sure this made it not a bunch of fun to tattoo but Chris was kind and totally did his best work. He has since done more tattoos for my family and I have recommended friends to him a few times, one of which is going to him for a sleeve next month. I have an extreme respect for Chris as an artist. In total I have 8 tattoos from him. From a hummingbird to symbols to an extremely detailed half sleeve. I have high expectations when I see him and he exceeds them every time I get a new tattoo. He has even “refurbished” an old tattoo I got years ago on my back and it looks better than the original. At the time I had been looking for a cover up artist to do a tattoo I no longer liked from years ago. Nobody wanted to cover up my tattoo due to the size, placement, and colors (orange & red). Chris did all the counsulting via email and responded quick everytime. He made some changes to the ideas I had in order to make the tattoo flow better to his imagination. The shop that he has is a great spot, Close to the Highway and lots of parking. The tattoo cover up needed to cover existing red and orange colors and Chris's knew how to shade in layers with different types of Grey & Black colors in order for it to look great. Chris is very detailed in how he tattoos & has great deep conversations in order to distract your mind. I had a great experience and would Highly recommend Odd Tattoo to anyone getting a New or Old tattoo! I couldn't have been happier with how my cover up turned out! Thanks Chirs!!!

Rushes his work and doesn't pay attention to detail but at the same time wastes time to keep you in there to take more money from you, sessions that should take no more than 4-5 hours turn into 7+ hours somehow and when he's done you have something permanent on your body that looks nothing like you described to him or is messed up in multiple ways. Worst tattoo artist in the city for the price you pay.

I actually got a tattoo from Chris in December of 2020. It was my first tattoo as well. Chris is a great tattoo artist to go to if it’s your first time. His kind eyes and welcoming presence eases the nervousness that one might experience during their first session. He’s very professional in terms of how sanitary he keeps his workplace. I’d post both the day of and 2 weeks healed photos of my tattoo, but I don’t normally do reviews on Google… Thus I have no idea how to post them to begin with lol. However, the tattoo I got was the flower and angel wings, which was posted on his Instagram. Speaking of Instagram, I made this review just now because he’s doing a tattoo giveaway? I think? And, to enter, I must have left a review. So, I thought, “why not”, yu kno? Might be doing this wrong, but he deserved a review anyway.

10 days ago I got two tattoos (fine lines and watercolour) done by Chris and I am extremely happy with the result. I explained my ideas to him, he had some really good recommendations and at the day of the appointment we changed some details. His work is outstanding: he has lots of experience and offers a huge variety of styles. ( pretty unique! something you don't come across very often because artists usually have a particular specialization). His studio is clean and has a nice, comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend Chris.
