We received horrible service. The lady at the door is nice but James wasn't friendly or helpful and we felt as though we weren't welcomed into his establishment. He was incredibly rude to us and his staff, which was a complete turn off. He was condescending and talked down to us as though we were children. As someone who has been working in tattoo shops for many years and has experience with proper cleanliness and sanitization, their facility is NOT clean. My friend felt faint from her tattoo and he honestly treated her like garbage and when I recommended we get her a glass of water he looked at me like I was stupid and scoffed at me. I appreciate the work that artists put into their tattoos, but if you're going to be that rude to your customers it's really unprofessional. Honestly if your looking to get a tattoo Celeste is very good at what she does, but if you're looking for a welcoming environment, i would recommend booking a day when james isn't working or look for a new shop all together.

By far the best place to get a tattoo. Their experience, knowledge and talent are by far the best you'll find in northwest Canada. Got my first tattoo done here as a memorial, I picked realism black and grey and they absolutely nailed it. now I just can't stop lol. The atmosphere, how clean the shop is and the way they work with their equipment (new needles out of the sealed packages and gloves every time) definitely makes you feel comfortable. I'll definitely be back for more!

Leyan Lewchuk. I went to James 5 years ago for a cover up on my forearm. Since then I've gotten 2 full sleeves, one of flowers all done free hand( it's amazing) and the other is a black and grey family tribute. We've also started work on my calf and have discussed a back piece. My husband has also gotten 2 half sleeves from James. I like the way James doesn't do work from a book or the internet. He wants your tattoo do be personal, not something everyone else has and not the latest trend. this is something you will be wearing for life so you want an artist who will make it the best tattoo .
