Went there for the boxing day sale and even though it was incredibly busy the staff was VERY patient and kind. I got my second tattoo there and even though I was nervous the staff made me feel at ease. Obviously I am writing this review because I would recommend to a friend.

I have multiple pieces from a few different shops in Edmonton. Champion Tattoo is excellent. The open concept means lots of interaction between the artists, reception, and clients so it creates a gathering place atmosphere. The owner, Shawn, has very high expectations and it shows in the quality of artists that choose to work there. Trevor has completed a couple different pieces for me and will definitely be doing more. He's a skilled artist who will be clear with you and help you get a piece of lasting quality.

Shawn is such a sweet dude! He was incredibly patient when listening to my ideas and drafted up the most killer avocados to tattoo on my feet! As feet are a pretty painful place to get tattooed, he was wonderful at checking in that I was still doing okay. I am super happy with the result and can't wait to go back! Hannah was excellent, my tattoo came out extra crispy. Everyone I encountered there was super awesome and hella friendly. Lots and lots of really awesome, fairly priced flash plus of course they do custom work as well. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to get some high quality tattoos.

My mom and dad took me into the shop to get a consult for my first tattoo this Saturday. I don't have the tattoo yet. I really want to say thanks to the girl at the front who helped me out. She made us feel welcome (we don't look like we belong in a tattoo place.) I know it is a simple tattoo I want, but i was still really nervous. The girl at the front did a great job of answering all my questions. She handed me an iPad with pictures of each artists work and told me to look through it to find whose style i really like! instead of giving us false information, when she wasn't sure about a price, she asked the guy tattooing behind her desk, and he helped. I will be getting my tattoo here. It was clean, not scary, they had fun music, the artists were all talking and laughing with each other, which is cool to see. I am Very happy with the service and i haven't even gotten my tattoo yet! I can not imagine how excited i will be after i get the tattoo done.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place! I got a geometric mandala back piece done by Teddy Kardos that healed beautifully and turned out more amazing than I expected. Great vibe at the shop, everyone is super nice and knowledgeable, and Teddy made me feel super comfortable and was very professional in doing my first "real" tattoo. Teddy was very accommodating and talked me through my initial nervousness, and was always making sure I was okay. Right off the bat I knew I could trust him to create an amazing piece. Good small talk, but didn't talk my ear off - was just really in the zone focusing on his work and got it done so much quicker than expected. Would recommend Teddy and this shop to everyone. I would 100% come back and get another piece done by him, hopefully another awesome geo piece. I'm just in love with my ink!

Really cool tight knit group of artists working at this shop. I've had tats done across Canada, in England and in Japan as well as worked for years in the late 80's and early 90's as a tattooist. When it came time after 17 years to get my latest piece this is where I found the skill, vibe and personal connection it takes for a great tat. I'll be back real soon for one more.

It only took me 2 hours but Hannah And the rest of The crew there were friendly and chatting so it felt like time flew right by! I've had the pleasure of being tattooed by both Trevor Pelletier and Richard Harding, and both times I walked out of that shop with a huge ear to ear smile. I saw their ad. Popping up on my face book couple years ago when they first opened on 124th street there were two guys the main guy Shawn who looked experienced and another guy who unlucky handled my tattoo. I went there for consultation to be honest they were friendly, I wanted to cover a tattoo on my hand and the artist suggested a floral sleeve i saw the drawing and i liked it. We started the next day he took a deposit and then started the tattoo and i used to pay at the end of each session, and each next session of same numbers of hours costed me like 200 more. The tattoo didn't cover the old tattoo, i went back i asked if he can redo some parts where it still show the old one he redid it and charged me per hour again. I had never gotten my deposit back the tattoo was never completed. I went to another place who did the whole thing again and it looks amazing now. Well i have no experience in tattooing but it turned out that he was using the shadowing technique for filling the roses which make it look very bad at the begining. It pisses me off when i remember that noone has called to follow up, like i never missed payment I am introverted so I barely talk to anyone there even under needles pain, I have paid everytime and never gotten any discounts for retouch. All what the artist care about is making more money not making repeated customers. I have done another tattoo on the other place and now i want to do another sleeve and both calves. Just saying that even you doing great in business you still lost more business. My tattoo now looks amazing and every one asks me about i got that done i refer them to the other place.

I wish I could give more then 5 stars. I came in as a walk-in to get a script tattoo done Friday night after work. I saw Hanna. She was amazing. How she did the tattoo it was perfect. My family loves it, I love it. There was no bleeding and little to no ink rejection. I'm so happy with it.
