I have several pieces from Liz and one from Sam and they are all awesome and people are always commenting on how great the work is. Came to the studio with a friend and was just going to wait while she got hers done. Overheard one of the artists talking about how he was free for the rest of the day so I thought I might as well ask if he could do a tattoo for me. Nick was super keen and made the design work perfectly with what I already had tattooed on my arm. Couldn’t be more happy with the final product, and would definitely love to get more from him in the future!

Shoutout to Amy!! I emailed her about a tattoo and she was wonderful and kind setting up an appointment for my sister and I (also consulting and creating great designs based on our wants and needs!). We then had to reschedule almost 4(!) times, and she never lost her cool with us-and I wouldn't have blamed her if she did!! She was wonderful with us, and we both love the tattoos she gave us. The shop itself is very clean, has a lot of personality, and everyone who works there was very friendly and polite. I have recommended this place many times since, and will continue to do so. Parking can be a bit difficult to find due to location, but worth the hassle for the service I recieved both times I was there.

Bombshell Tattoo is hands down one of the best places to get your ink done. I went recently and Marcel did my tattoo, was floored! He did an amazing job, better than I ever hoped and going back for another next month. I am not new to tattoos and this place was wonderful! The staff is awesome, super friendly and knowledgeable, the environment was very clean and funky but cozy, I HIGHLY recommend anyone who wants QUALITY over quantity to go here!

We had 3 tattoos done a few days ago and it was a strange experience. My daughter went first and she received exactly what she wanted, in the exact place and it looks great. I went next; my experience was a bit different. The artist insisted that I couldn't have the tattoo where I wanted it (on my shoulder) as it was too big for that location. That was strange to me because I didn't think my tattoo was going to be larger than a baseball, but I guess they thought it needed to be larger and go on a different location. He suggested the inside of my left arm. I thought that would be ok as he started to hold up the stencil so we could see it. My wife and I kept saying "can it not go a bit higher, closer to the top of my bicep?" The artist just glanced at us as if to silently say " how dare you change my plans". My tattoo is completed, in the location he wanted, and it's "ok". I think it would have been nicer a bit higher as I need to flex like a bodybuilder to show it off now. To summarize my tattoo; it's ok and I'll get used to it. My wife's tattoo on the other hand is a different story....She had sent a photo of what she wanted at the same time that my daughter's and mine were sent in. My wife was third to go, after my daughter and I and the artist didn't have anything prepared. He said "so you want a dragonfly?" My wife responded with "didn't you get the photo we sent in?" He looked up the photo and said "this is henna, I can't do this". I would assume that if it can be drawn, it can be tattooed. We believe that he wasn't prepared and the apprentices didn't prep him like they prepped him for my daughter's and mine. So, he suggested a dragonfly that he just happen to have on hand. My wife wasn't sold on it and said “that’s not even close to the picture'' and he responded with “it’s the same concept”. She, wildly regretfully, agreed and a couple things factored into her agreeing; 1. he has a great reputation and does absolutely amazing work and 2. she was very excited to get some new ink. So, she said "can you make it smaller?” and he said no. She asked if it could be in a different location and he said no. She asked if it could be in a colour other than red and he said “I’ll deal with the colours when I get there”. And, of course, he never brought it up and as the tattoo was going on the back of her leg, she can’t see the progress. So as a result, the tattoo my wife received is larger than expected, a large greeny blueish blob and she is completely embarrassed to show anyone. We’re going to try and see if we can get it fixed but I think it’ll just be a removal. There are not enough words to describe the disappointment. I’ve included the picture we sent the artist and the finished product so you can see the drastic difference.

I absolutely love visiting Bombshell Tattoo...I'd hang out there every day if I could! The atmosphere is like walking into a life-long friend's home...incredibly welcoming and great conversation that easily takes your mind off the pain of getting a tattoo. I admire the integrity and morals of the employees, especially when it comes to the pride and protection of artists, not just of their own, but of every artist out there that puts their heart and soul into a piece of artwork. I went one evening during the week to the lounge to get information. A tattoo artist was doing a tattoo and had to stop to pick up another person in the back because there is no one at the reception. I was asked to go see a person in the back rather than the person coming to me. Having a chat with someone who does not stop doing what they do and who does not look at you is quite disturbing, especially when you want to talk about something that will be your whole life on your body. This person did not really give me the information I wanted and gave me the card with the email address and he asked me to send an email to explain my project. The email does not work, so I decide to contact them by Facebook and he asks me to come to the place (without an appointment) to discuss. I replied that I came and the person told me to apply online. No answer yet... If employees do not all say the same thing it's hard enough for us to trust. The tattoo may be commonplace for a tattoo that is 90% tattooed but he must understand that we need a support from the beginning to the end and the first contact say a lot ...

I got my first tattoos at a walk-in from Jon and they turned out AMAZING!!! The lines are really neat and clean and professional. I went a bit late to the walk-in and I can kinda see the artists are cleaning up, but Jon saw the tattoos I wanna get (there are four small ones) and said he could do them for me even though they’re closing up soon! Jon is very informative, friendly to talk to, I felt really comfortable when discussing the tattoo design with him. I also just got a touch-up from him recently which I really appreciate him for doing such a great aftercare???????? I 100% recommend Jon and I will definitely go back to get more tattoos from him???????? Thank you Jon for making my first tattoo experience so great!

Bombshell is a great tattoo shop! I'm getting my 4th tattoo done there and have nothing but good things to say. I didn't have to book for a consult, i was just able to walk right in and do one. The people that work there are nothing but friendly and just awesome all around. When you explain what you want to get done, they write down your ideas and ask you any other questions that pertain to the design. They are just super amazing and i couldn't be happier!

Love this shop!! The staff are are amazing and so friendly. Went in today for a walk in piercing with Sandra. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient, explained all the parts of how things were going to work and what to expect. I am so happy with how my septum turned out, 10/10 would recommend her for any and all piercing needs. I have been to the shop many times over the last 6 months for tattoos for myself and my husband. TL is working on my back piece and I am beyond happy with how it is going, can't wait to see how we finish it.

Nick did my tattoo and it came out super nice and clean and I could not be happier with it. 100% going back for more at this location and with him. This is an edit, I came back for my second tattoo from Nick again and he did just as well as he did last time, I'm very happy with the work done. My piercer, Sandra, was absolutely incredible. I went for my second set of piercings since I was kid, and I am incredibly satisfied with the results and the overall customer service experience. I went in feeling nervous and left feeling happy I went through with the piercings. Sandra offered great adive to help with residual pain afterwards and supplied wonderful insight from her own piercing experiences. She walked me through the process and ensured I was ready between the piercings before doing the other. I would definitely recommend you go here even if just to get a piercing from Sandra. She is so professional and makes you feel very comfortable even if the piercing you're getting is less than that!

Out of all the tattoo shops I've ever been to, I can say without exaggeration that Bombshell Tattoo is by far the most incredible I've been to. The staff is universally kind, extremely talented, and they effortlessly make you feel at home. After six hours in their care, I felt like I was a long-time friend and there's a real air of openness and familiarity to the place that really can't be beat. Even my girlfriend, who has never been tattooed in her life, decided on the spot to get one that day and incredibly, they accommodated her, creating a beautiful design on the spot that she is in love with. For her first time being inked, she handled it extremely well and her artist was an absolute professional who made it an experience she is still positively beaming about. The artist who did my tattoo was Aidan, who spent an entire day coming up with the design for my tattoo, checking with me to see if I was happy with it, and it was no time at all between me arriving and having the work done, the process was very streamlined and smooth. Aidan finished a massive half-sleeve kraken on my left arm that took six hours to complete, largely because of amazingly small details that I was amazed a tattoo artist could create. Even doing the entire piece with a single needle, the entire piece was done in one sitting and it was for the most part painless and quite comfortable, and I barely bled compared to my first tattoo. It really is a testament to his skill as an artist and that he really knows how to handle a tattoo gun. I could not be happier with my tattoo, and it blew my expectations out of the water. Absolutely stunning piece! Bombshell is really a place where you go in a customer and come out a friend, and I will definitely return to get more work done. No matter who is giving you a tattoo, you can be comforted knowing their standard of quality is second to none and your experience will be professional, courteous, and very enjoyable. I cannot recommend them enough, and I have recommended Bombshell to all of my inked friends and those who are considering it.

I had a tattoo done last summer by an artist, not sure if it was a drop in artist or a regular, but either way I went in with a specific symbol and was very unhappy with the turn out. I dont think it reflects the shop, but I am upset that something that should be so simple was messed up. I asked for shading, and theres no gradient what so ever, it's my skin then black ink. No blending. High contrast. When I asked when the session was over why it wasnt blended she said it would fade and be blended.. year later.. my moon looks like it has 2 angry black horns still. Will be covering this tattoo up.

I went to Bombshell at 5:14 on Sunday, a day where they advertise on Facebook they're open until 8, and they said they were closing early and wouldn't take me in for a tattoo that would've only taken at most 45 minutes. I was very upset as I had waited most of the day to go there, just for them to close early because they hadn't been busy enough that day. So what sense does that make to close early and turn away business that would've brought you money and more business and advertising by spreading the word about a good experience. I will not be returning.

I went into the shop looking for my first tattoo, with a terrible idea that Aiden and Erin gently talked me out of. From there, we settled on a much better image and Liz put together a beautiful design that turned out spectacularly. It was my first tattoo, and I had it put in a very tender area, but Liz made the experience as comfortable as can be imagined. Great staff. Messaged an artist via Instagram to discuss a tattoo and he encouraged me to come in and discuss it. When I went in he took the time to chat with me about my options and what I wanted. I was very impressed that, rather than just saying yes and taking my money he took the time to tell me why my idea and placement choice was a terrible idea. While some might find rude or terrible customer service it truly demonstrated the dignity to the art and professionalism that Bombshell adheres to. Mike took the time to explain to me why my choices were terrible and what we needed to change in order to make it not only work but look amazing. I have to admit that I was absolutely gutted when he said it was terrible but I am so thankful that he took the time to educate rather than just take my money. I know that when I am ready, I will be heading to Bombshell.

Liz did such an amazing job covering up my ugly tattoo that I had her re-work another piece. The whole experience was fun yet professional. The unique custom pieces that I have received from Liz Venom are so original and I always have people stop me to ask where I had my work done. The environment at Bombshell Tattoo is extremely friendly and comfortable. I would highly recommend Bombshell Tattoo to anyone that is looking at getting their first tattoo, new work or a cover-up.

The atmosphere is chill yet upbeat the decor honestly gets you pumped to work with one of their talented artists or their piercer. As soon as you walk in you're greeted and helped out immediately, while I was getting tattooed the banter with all the artists was so fun it definitely kept my mind off the sweet pain that comes along with a new tattoo. Working with Jonnii Guns on a piece to add to my sleeve was such an awesome experience that I already cant wait to go back and work him to finish it off. Didn't get my tattoo at the studio but Liz was in Brisbane at Khan's studio and did an AMAZING job. I thought I was anal about details but she is on another level (or more like planet). I trust that she only hires aweso me talented bad ass artists which is why I'm leaving this review. Don't be butt hurt if they tell you your tattoo might he a bad idea, it's their art, and if a tattoo artist tells you it's a bad idea then listen. While it might look awesome on pintres (so basic white girl or tribal tattoo) it's a terrible idea and I'm sure they'll be more than happy to find something different for you. I'll defiantly try to get another tattoo by Liz, or at least at her shop, which means a lot since I live in PA....

I have been tattooed in many places all across Canada, and I can honestly say that this shop is the only place I will go to get my ink in Edmonton. They have gone above and beyond my expectations. No shop I've ever been in before has offered the use of their wireless, their Netflix, their music selection, AND snacks and drinks when you're feeling sugar low after being done. Liz, the Australian artist, offered to finish my ink for me regardless of who started it. Her manner is professional and fun, and she listened to what I wanted and worked with me to achieve my amazing personal art. My husband and I love this place.

I had an appointment with Mike for a specific style of sternum tattoo. I gave him clear ideas on how I wanted the flow and vibe to be (feminine, light, airy, line work vs. shading). My appointment was for May 3rd, but I got a call a day before saying they're closed that day and had to rebook. Cool, no big deal. I got my sketch back today two weeks after the original consult and it was darker and thicker than I originally wanted, but I was totally good with re-working some pieces because the line work was awesome. But nope. Instead he says it's not going to work and sent me to someone down the street without even trying. If this tattoo wasn't his style all along, why'd he waste my time all along? Why did he not say that I'd be better to go to someone else originally? Also, no apology? And when I mentioned that I thought I was really clear on what I wanted he was just like "yah well..." Only good thing is I got my deposit back right away and didn't get stuck with a tattoo I hated. So yay 1-star review.

I had my second tattoo done by Chubs. It was a walk in and he did the drawing up right away and made the changes I wanted until it was perfect (only one small change). The whole experience was awesome and he was totally cool with my friend sitting with me through the tattoo.. The whole atmosphere of the shop and the people there was great. Needless to say I will definitely be coming back! I also had my sleeve done by Liz while I was travelling Australia. Again nothing but an amazing experience! I had the whole thing done in about 6 days as I was travelling and had a small time frame and Liz was extremely accommodating and made the whole thing really enjoyable. I called Bombshell tattoo to see if they had time for a walk in today- the lady on the phone asked for design and location to which I told her a Skulltula (zelda spider) and either ribs or sternum. She told me that's cute and perfectly doable, they have 4 people waiting and if I'd like to have it done I should come sooner then later as theres a wait. I drove 30 minutes to be told in 2 seconds that my design isn't suitable for a walk in appt bc they require them to at least be 40 minutes max to be done (the guy told me my design would take to long due to shading- and possibly size as it may have to be a bit big) and that my locations arent something they'd want to tattoo as a walk in it would be "better" to book an consultation to have it done etc. I'm extremely annoyed that I wasted an hour of driving for absolutely nothing. I have no issues with the shop this was my first experience, policy isn't the problem but these things should've been told to me over the phone so I wouldn't have wasted my time. I'm sure my future experiences I may have with the shop will be good but atm I'm slightly disappointed P.s as I read the response to this from the shop- I'd just like to say " in no way shape or form" did I complain about not getting the tattoo today nor did I state she guaranteed anything, the whole issue I had was that I wasnt told about certain restrictions on walk in tattoos my whole complaint was that i wasnt informed on the phone like I've had other shops do before. So glad to see how you guys so up in arms and get rude over me stating a small thing. As I said if you actually read it no issue with the shop just that one thing made me slightly disappointed

Attended a charity event at Bombshell today for an animal shelter that faced a devastating fire. All proceeds for the day went towards the shelter. A great idea and great people to do such a thing! There was quite a lineup because they were offering $60 flash pieces. They would often come out and offer ice water to those of us in line. There was an Ohana donut truck parked right out front that had snacks and cold drinks for the folks in line. Everyone was very helpful and it was all smiles all day...from the artists to those getting tattoos! Was a great experience and I hope they have another charity even like this in the future because the turnout was amazing! Highly recommend this shop. Amazing people and the owner, Liz, is a fantastic lady!

I have had my own experience with this shop and can tell you they do not attempt to make you comfortable about this experience. I sent a photo of what I wanted and got something totally different and the artist changed me 150 dollars for the art I never wanted. I walked down the road to another shop where they made me feel comfortable and were professional enough to trust me the client in what I wanted. This shop cannot even take criticism as you can see from their responses and never take responsibility. Very unprofessional . Calling my review fake and saying that I never got tattooed their when I never said I did because of the reason I listed above, is the very reason I said they cannot take criticism. I even said I went somewhere else and got it done. Again very unprofessional.

My first experience with Bombshell happened back in April 2014. Initially I was set up with an artist that ended up being a complete bust. He was very unprofessional and needless to say he is no longer with Bombshell. He left me in a very tough position though because I had given him a $200 deposit, my tattoo is half finished, and at this point I don't feel comfortable being tattooed by him. I wrote a review under Bombshell because I had no idea what the name of his new shop was and could not find him on Facebook either. I had no idea what else to do and Bombshell was the last known connection I had to him. Luckily, after reading what happened, these guys stepped in and offered to help. From looking at their portfolios I know they can create amazing tattoos and from my experience I know that they truly care about each and every client. I am extremely impressed by the level of professionalism and care that they have shown and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get some awesome work done!

I had 2 pieces tattooed by Jenna Coffin and she is fabulous. Her designs are amazing, and the end tattoo is even better. She asked me for a theme for the tattoo and worked her magic. She is very cautious with sizing and putting on the stencil to make sure it goes on perfect, and doesn’t just slap it on. She was so nice during the tattooing process and didn’t mind when I’m almost seemed dead during the tattoo. I always feel very comfortable. The shop is always busy but also very clean. The artists and staff are so friendly and energetic. I would definitely recommend Jenna to anyone that wants a rad tattoo done.

Got my first helix piercing done by Sandra February 7th and it was wonderful! Only a slight pinch, but overall it couldn’t of gone better. Fast forward to almost a week later (February 13th) and I got my second helix piercing because I felt like my ear was bare with just having one. It was also a great experience, HOWEVER yesterday (Monday) morning my ear swelled up a ton and it was painful... I quickly discovered that the post on the second piercing was too short and couldn’t accomodate the swelling so I had to get it changed in another city (I’m out of town for the week) a few hours ago. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Sandra and the wonderful work that she does, but a post that was too short doesn’t go unnoticed. Overall I’d still recommend coming to Bombshell to get piercings done by the lovely Sandra. I know that I’m still going to return to her to get a third helix done eventually!

Although I did end up getting a top notch tattoo from this place, the experience was rather unpleasant. My existing tattoos were covered up when I went in, and I guess that means I'm an idiot who doesn't know what they want, because that's what I was treated like. They weren't like overtly offensive or insulting but I sure left feeling weird and the value was pretty abysmal 350 dollars an hour for a tattoo is ridiculous. I went in to get a second tattoo a few months later, because it's close to where I lived, and again ended up having a strange experience and did not end up getting a tattoo. I won't be going back a third time, I've learned my lesson.

Everything is sterilized and its pretty fast. Only thing might be that they have a small jewelry selection, but I still found something I liked :)

God forbid you have to cancel because the artist hasnt contacted you on design once for a whole sleeve. Chanse will start insulting you and will refuse to stop texting you I paid my deposit I do not want a refund because I understand I did cancel. But please handle it with some grace i wasnt comfterble with the "design process" especially for my entire arm and I'm not able to push back the date. I'm sure hes a great tattooist but that isnt how you handle a cancelation.

What a Phenomenal place to get some quality conversation and a great tattoo!! Popped in for a local charity event, raising money for an animal shelter 60$ for a small tattoo, with many to choose from. I went in to talk to my usual piercer (Sandra) about jewelry replacement and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. The shop is small, but comfortable and clean. I walked into Bombshell today looking for a place that would be a good candidate for my daughter to recieve her first tattoo. From the outside the place looked pretty cool, and I knew my kid would like that they claim to be prepared for a zombie apocalyps. Once I walked in however I became a little uneasy. They had liquor bottles on display, and there was considerable garbage around the area leading into the back. A quick glance around told me this place needed a serious cleaning, I didn't want to know the state of their needles if this is how they kept the area their customers first walk into. I had almost had enough when who I assume is the owner asked me in a very condescening way how she could help me. Almost as if saying "what are you doing here? You clearly don't like tattoo's". Although my experience with the shop was limited, I wouldn't recommend it and I certainly wont be taking my daughter there.

I had a mish mash of ideas going in but Steve was able to clarify and design something that was exactly what I wanted. My first time walking into the shop, I was incredibly nervous. I didn't know what to expect, but all the staff was extremely welcoming and comforting. I have had the privilege to be tattooed by the lovely and talented Liz Venom, who is a world-renowned tattoo artist for her vibrant and beautiful work. The staff at the shop are very professional and are held to the highest standards. The atmosphere has a pulse to it. The work environment is full of positive energy and laughs. There's always some sort shenanigans happening. Every time I have an appointment there, there is a lineup of costumers wanting tattoos done at Bombshell. Couldn't make an appointment for a consultation, instead I was told rough hours when I could stop in and maybe catch the owner there...I wasn't even looking for him. Finally stopped in and met the artist I wanted, never felt so uncomfortable. He didn't like what I wanted done (didn't realize I had to sell my idea to someone) and then was told a different artist might be willing to do it and would call me. Never got that callback, not even a courtesy call. If you don't want my business, that's fair, but the lack of professionslism these guys displayed was vastly insulting to a potential client. The funniest part of all, I was referred to this guy/place by his MOTHER. Guy didn't even have the respect for his mother to offer her referral any professional courtesy at all...that said more then the rest of this combined. I will never recommend this business, you just don't tell a paying customer they aren't worth your time.

I was tattooed by the amazing Liz back in 2019, and again in 2021. Liz tattooed a realistic (colored) rose and later added ferns to the piece. I absolutely LOVE my tattoos from her. I have brown skin and she selected the perfect shades for my skin tone. My only regret is not having enough space for a full sleeve from her. Everyone working at the shop treated me kindly and with respect. It was comforting to see everyone share their professional opinions and aiming to ensure that each client walks out of the studio feeling pleased with their new tattoo/piercing. The new shop is incredibly spacious and CLEAN. Lots of parking.

Overall the shop is clean and almost a homey feeling. The staff are friendly and like to joke around. they try to make you feel comfortable from when you walk through the door until you leave. My first experience was not the best as I went in with a idea and one person said that it could not be done the way that I wanted it. Amy did a quick consult and said let me take a look. It was not what I had drawn up but it had the same idea and feeling about it. She set up a time and I got my second tattoo. She has cleaned up and colored another tattoo that I had and it turned out great. She is also open to other ideas especially if they mean something special as with my cookie recipe tattoo that I just had done. It is not quite finished but I look forward to her ideas on how to finish it up.

I went here to get 3 piercings done and I'm so happy with result. Sandra is so knowledgeable (with all things piercing AND jewelry/brand related) and made me feel super comfortable (it had been a lot of years since the last time I had anything pierced). I have been to see Liz now for a couple of sessions. Her artwork is incredibe, and she's been awesome to correspond with for bookings and sorting out designs. The shop has an amazing aesthetic, and all of the staff are super friendly and down to earth. It makes for a very enjoyable tattoo experience. That, and all of the very obvious measures they're taking to deal with recently-imposed Covid restrictions make it very obvious that Liz and her team care about what they're doing. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve come in twice now for walk in tattoos with a total of three tattoos done, and each time I go in I’m met with friendly people and an excellent atmosphere. The artists are kind and make you feel very comfortable even if you’re as anxious as I was getting my first done (literally shaking on the waiting couch), but Jon made sure I felt comfortable and understood what was happening every step of the way. He took my simple sketches and turned them into fantastic tattoos that I’m proud to wear around. All of their artists are well-versed in many styles and are very capable of creating a fantastic tattoo with any ideas you give them. They will also recommend any changes or suggestions that will create a better tattoo so that they know you are getting the best piece possible. I genuinely love getting tatted here and urge others to go as well. I’ve been to a fair few tattoo parlours and I can definitely say that based on the environment and the artists, this is my favourite place to be.

Came to bombshell for a walk in tattoo today. June 30th. I was meet by Allison at the door. She asked what I was looking to get done. CJ was available to do a small piece I was looking for. From walking in the door to a finished piece took a little over an hour. CJs work was crisp, clean and stunning. The shop was very clean and inviting but had an old school tattoo shop feel to it. Which I liked. All the artist seemed to get along really well which made for a very relaxed environment. I will defiantly be returning for more work in the future. If I could give more than 5 star's I would. Very impressed and satisfied with everything the moment I walked in the door. See you guys and gals real soon.
