So glad I did my research and met Clark. Definitely worth taking the short drive from Edmonton to Sherwood Park to come get some work done here. Excited to come back soon!

Not only is this team insanely talented, but they are all professional, personable and patient. I have had 2 visits to this shop for work and each time I am always greeted warmly and I never feel rushed about my design. Katie is open and very collaborative and she checks in on your during the process to ensure your doing OK. I had to stop by the shop to get my bandage adjusted and my artist wasn't in the shop, but another artist stepped in to help and got me bandaged up. I appreciate their team atmosphere and the positive vibes.

I finally got to have a piece done by Taylor at her home here at Anthem. I had met Taylor back in her apprenticing days at another shop and have followed her tattooing career since. Taylor did a gorgeous charm bracelet on me. She was accommodating when I wanted to make a small change, she let me know about the different steps she was doing, and took her time to ensure that everything was perfect. Her attention to detail is on point. I love seeing the new flash pieces that Taylor comes up with, as well as the custom work she posts on her IG. She's a busy gal with a hell of a talent. So happy with my piece! (and of course I'll be back!)

She is a super busy artist but is still so prompt at responding and sorting out bookings when her books are open. My first ever tattoo I got was by Katie and she made me feel so excited about my ideas and made me feel super comfortable when chatting design/placement and making any adjustments I felt it needed. She made sure I was comfortable during the process, encouraged breaks and she honestly made me feel like I was chatting with a friend during my appointments. Not to mention the artwork is impeccable. The environment of the studio is very friendly. Everything is super clean and Katie sanitized the station in front of me which I appreciated. My expectations are exceeded every time I go to anthem, can’t recommend them enough!!

I came to Anthem because an artist there drew out a really awesome print, and I just couldn't get it out of my mind! I waited two years to make sure that I truly NEEDED IT, and I did, so I booked an appointment. Nice and clean shop, the music was really great, and my artist IS FANTASTIC! First appointment was 3 hours and the linework is beautiful. I would like to get more done by SHEVY, a real cool person that is also an awesome artist. I absolutely love the tattoo that I got at Anthem Tattoo by Kaitlin Iris Katie Baby), but I have to say that the experience I had was not the best. I had been quoted at around $275 for my piece (upper arm piece with bee, flowers, and honeycomb). No art was provided for me to look at prior to my arrival, which is fine... but Katie seemed huffy and annoyed when I wanted to make revisions to the art work. When I asked if she would be doing any dot work (which she is known for and that I love!) she was condescending in telling me that she doesn't draw dot work in her stencils (how am I supposed to know, I'm not a tattoo artist!). I felt pretty uncomfortable, because her vibes felt abrasive. We eventually struck up conversation throughout the tattooing process (during which she shared a ton of personal information/life story) but I still was very uncomfortable throughout. She also took a phone call while I was on the table and was on the phone for the last 15 minutes or so of my appointment. I did appreciate her artistry and the way she encouraged me to be picky with the placement of the tattoo. Then, when it was time to pay, she informed me that the price would be $367 in total. I had already put down a $100 deposit a couple weeks before, so $267 still owing. I did not feel comfortable inquiring about the price that she had quoted me because of her attitude, so I paid without incident. I asked for a receipt (which she scoffed at and made me feel like that's an unreasonable request?) which stated that 2 hours of tattooing = $367, not $320 as specified on the website. When I look at the website and when I overheard people getting gift certificates, the rate was $160 an hour. I guess I'm confused about the extra cost and the original $275 quote. I left feeling really wound up and felt like I was walking on egg shells throughout the whole appointment. She shared with me a lot of life stressors that she's experiencing and maybe she had an off day, but I did not have a good time at all. Love the tattoo... was it worth it? Debatable.

I had Mac start my first sleeve about a week ago. Anthem was clean and very friendly, they were on time for my appointment and did it all while following covid protocols. All the artists in the shop were friendly and came over to check the progress of my tattoo, it was an very comfortable environment to be in. Mac himself was awesome, he worked with me for a month on my design and knocked it out of the park. Can’t wait to see the finished product and would recommend Anthem to anybody looking to get a tattoo!

Absolutely love Anthem Tattoo Co! I was very lucky to have my biggest piece done by the amazing Kaitlin Iris, such a kind and professional artist. I actually saw her Instagram page and waited almost a year till her books were open and I was able to get in, just so I could get this piece done by her! The ribs are very sensitive area, and I was ready for this, but I believe Kaitlin did it in a way that it didn’t hurt so much. The atmosphere is also incredible, lots of fun and laughter, but also respectful and professional at the same time. I highly recommend going to Anthem Tattoo Co and getting your pieces done by any of the amazing artists. But if you like what I got done, I recommend Kaitlin! Also, very pleased with them following Covid guidelines, and being safe in this time!

Clark and his team are unreal! The atmosphere at the shop is great, everything is clean and professional and they offer various tattoo styles to give you exactly what you’re looking for. First of all anthem is such a chill and awesome environment, always good vibes there. I get my tattoos done by Mac and he kills it every time, from the planning of the tattoo to actually doing it he blows it out of the water. He has gone above and beyond for me especially helping with tattoos that weren’t done by him and did the best cover up tattoo. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Got a few small pieces from Dave! He was right there when I came in, was open to small changes and made the drawings exactly to my liking, did exceptional line work and I’m extremely happy with my tattoos. I also planned to spend at least $400 on a 2hr session and he got done most everything in 1 hour. Was happy to tip well because of the exceptional experience I had. wow! eve the piercer is honestly spectacular at what she does. never, and I mean never, have I been treated with the respect that eve gave me. I was offered high quality service, high quality jewelry and an incredible all-around experience by Eve. and everyone in the shop was so kind. eve even gave me a tissue when I got a tear during my septum, hehe. go to this shop!! go to eve!! I'd give it 6 stars if I could, hehe! UPDATE: I went to Anthem a few weeks ago to get both of my nostrils repierced. Eve was fantastic, yet again! They have a wonderfully organized set-up for preventative covid measures. They play cool tunes, they have super talented artists, and a bunch of super neato products like animal skulls, high quality jewellery and artists merch! Can't wait for my appointment with Clark!

I've been tattooed by both Taylor and Sam and both are amazing. The studio is clean, and even during covid I felt very comfortable being tattooed there. The art work I got done is beautiful and healed perfectly. I would highly recommend.

I have been here twice now, both times because I was able to get in with Katie (kattiebaby on Instagram). I was nothing short of impressed from the moment I got there. Katie and I were messaging back and forth on what I was looking for (a cover and addition/freshen to an existing piece). When she greeted me the day of my appointment I could tell she was just as excited as I was. I had a small request to add an additional flower to one of the pieces, and she was happy to do so. I felt so comfortable the entire time, we chatted during the process and listened to some great music. After my first appointment I couldn’t wait for her books to open again. The second appointment was also nothing short of stellar. Katie does such beautiful work! I’m honoured to have her work on me and can’t wait to go back! As far as the studio goes, Anthem is a really great spot. It’s super clean, and super friendly. It’s a bright open space and seeing everyone hard at work and connecting with their clients adds to the great vibe.

"Kattiebaby" AKA Kaitlin Iris, had to have been thee worst, unprofessional artist I've ever crossed paths with. I've never heard someone speak with such foul, disgusting language towards a human being, or a paying client for that matter. When all the person tried to do, was describe what she was referring to. My fault for listening in on how she was treating her client. Still..that's not something other clients want to hear from a "professional" artist working near. Loved the shop though ????
