I was tattooed here recently and I wish there was more than a 5 star option because my whole experience was just awesome! The tattoo itself was done so incredibly well and came out even better than I imagined, the staff were lovely and the artist was just an awesome guy all around to chat to while my tattoo was being done (took roughly over an hour an a half), I was the last tattoo of the day so he even let me choose some music to play over the shops speakers. I felt very welcome here and will without a single doubt, will be returning for more ink in the future! Would highly recommend this place!

I've also been tattooed multiple times at this shop by Jack and Amir it's my favourite work on my body. They're both super professional, and talented as hell. Highly recommend this shop.

If I could give zero stars I would, I went to get my septum pierced the piercer was very unprofessional and rushed, at first she lost the ball on the piercing then had to replace it and when she pierced me she did not try to find my “sweet spot” which resulted in a very crooked piercing with one side being through my cartilage, when she pierced me She realized right then that it was very very crooked and she was moving the needle around in my nose which after that she said “we will just see how the jewelry looks” after she put the jewelry in she repeatedly struggled with putting the ball on and she kept saying that “our noses aren’t symmetrical and the piercing will not look perfect for everyone” so me keeping that in mind tried to be positive and even before I had gotten home the side that was pierced higher was not longer hurting but the lower side in my cartilage was hurting like crazy and all of my family noticed right away that it was crooked, i had to take it out the night after I got it because the one side was so close to the edge of my nose that I knew it was going to reject, I’m very disappointed in how the piercer handled it and how she did not have much pride in her work, plz be careful choosing Alberta ink for your piercing

I've had two tattoos done at Alberta Ink by Nixi and I love them both to bits. I'm so happy that I chose to get Nixi to do my first (and second) tattoos and get compliments on the visible one almost every day. Nixi was professional, relaxed and ready to roll for both of them. I haven't had any issues with fading, blow out or holidays in the linework or the colour. Since I've had Nixi tattoo me I've added TONS to my collection and I'll never regret having her tattoo me first. As someone who has put their trust in Nixi to permanently mark their skin I can confidently recommend her based on my experiences. She is professional, creative and if you put your trust in her as an artist you won't be unhappy with the results. Alberta Ink is by far one of my favourite tattoo shops (and since my first tattoo I have been in many). It's clean, beautifully organized and ALL the artists are super friendly! Go in for a chat or a consult with anyone - they'll help you make your concepts reality and you'll leave with a beautiful piece (big or small!).

I am sure some of the artists are great, the shop has been previously recommended to me. However, I do not ever want to go here after my friends have been personally threatened. This seems like an unsafe and scary environment to go in to if I am being honest. From pictures, it looks clean, and the work of certain individuals looks amazing. But I cannot support a business that finds it wise to attack others character and opinions.

I have been seeing Jack for my tattoos, and I always get the BEST service, the best quality, and the most relaxed and comforting experience, even through the pain of the tattoos. I don't even live in Lethbridge and I drive 2 hours to go here. Everybody who works here makes sure to make you feel comfortable and at home. Changing my review once again as I do everytime I come in : I have been in with previous artists who have been wonderful (Lee and Nixxi and I had a piercing changed), unfortunately with them no longer there I don’t feel quite as comfortable as I used to. I went back and had an appointment with Alex and I find myself enjoying the shop once again. Thank here’s a slight lack on customer service at the start but you’ll feel welcomed once you get going. It’s a busy place so people are sometimes preoccupied. From 5 stars, to 3, to 2, back to 4. Experiences differ dependant on who you talk to and work with and who is there. The shop itself is alright, the artists are some of the best. (Still not a fake review lol)

Also Evan and Amir wow their work in incredible, my only complaint would be the older owner lady doesnt seem very friendly and I think that having someone like that there should be away from the public they need to hire someone who is bubbly to work out front like that not someone who seems super mad all the time.

Had finally decided to get a tattoo after months of research. When I went into the shop to talk about it, they essentially told me they were a really busy place and I should go online to look at their portfolios (which I had already done before walking in the shop). They do awesome work and they know it, so they have no problem with being completely rude to prospective clients because they don't really need the business. Very disappointing, but there are many other artists out there who do amazing work and have customer service. Also they should really remove the "Walk ins welcome" sign because I felt anything but welcomed when I walked in.

Jack did my tattoo back in February of 2020. He was amazing, I messaged him a couple ideas and he had me booked in within a week (I got lucky and fit into a free time slot he had). He designed the most amazing floral piece for my back. I get so many compliments on it all the time. The detail he put in was unbelievable. For a piece that took up half my back the price was great. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Alberta ink was also very clean which I appreciated.

*** would not recommend the old lady who pierces here. Very unsatisifed. She pierced my triagus on a wrong angle, then when I came in for a second time (to have to pay to get me piercing switched out ????) she asked me who pierced it because it is poorly done... That's when I said she did it. Very very frustrated. Would not pay $60 + for any other piercing there.

I always tell all my friends to get over to AB ink for a tattoo. Everything is very clean and properly sanitized. All the Artists are warm and welcoming. They are all very professional. The artists always listen to what the client wants and will adjust any tattoo into your dream tattoo, as well as giving their professional opinon. They always take their time on tattoos and are always asking if you need a break or how you are doing during the sessions. Nothing is ever rushed. Got my last tattoo from nixi. She was amazing. Between my husband and me we have seven tattoos from her. I would recommend her to anyone. The shop itself has a amazing atmosphere and is very professionally run. There is a reason they won best tattoo shop in Lethbridge.

Great place to get a tattoo. This establishment has alot of artists with varying degrees of experience and talent. I came in over the weekend and managed to get a piece done on my inside forearm by a young lady called Paige. Very happy and impressed with the quality and work. Will be using skills to finish the rest of the arm in a few months. Highly recommend and good value for money Imo.

Wanted to write this on their Facebook, but they don't have that option on their page. 3 of my friends and I have been to Nixxi on separate occasions. Our tattoos faded after only a few months, uneven lines. She TRACED my tattoo from an enlarged screenshot, she TRACED another girls tattoo from 4 different screenshots, and my other friend brought in a rough sketch of what she was looking for, which Nixxi also TRACED. As a tattoo artist you should be creating your own work, not plagiarize. One of my friends and I are getting these tattoos covered, and my 3rd friend is going to someone else to get her tattoos fixed. I will never recommend Nixxi to anyone. You are marking people's bodies permanently and it is not something you should do half assed.

Just got my nose pierced by Heather, and I could not be happier. She is the nicest lady ever, and made sure to let me know the process step by step. She is also super knowledgeable about piercings, and very meticulous! She is honestly the best!!

I went in to get an ear piercing and Covid protocol was being completely disregarded. None of the workers were wearing masks, so I left as I did not want someone not wearing a mask to be close to my face. It was an unsafe environment. And also quite disorganized, they didn't take down people's names and instead had people just go up when they thought it was their turn on the honour system. This was confusing and forced all the customers to keep track of each other, which was hard to do.

Went in with intent to talk to an artist about potential tattoos we were interested in. I have LOTS of ink and have worked in a local and very reputable tattoo shop in town year ago, so I understand the importance of having a welcoming/good customer service environment. Have also traveled all over the world seeking out artist so money is not the issue...just looking for skilled committed artists....We sat there for probably 20 minutes with artists walking all around the shop, not one single person acknowledged our existence. Walked out and won't go back or recommend them....

I went to nixxi for an original tattoo that meant a lot to me. I was charged $230 for something that took less than an hour and what I got wasn't original at all but just the pictures I gave her put straight onto my back. The line work is sloppy and when I asked to have 2 sections with the same flowers and the same colors she completely ignored my request. Not to mention being my first tattoo and on my spine there were a few times that i needed a bit of a break but she would not accommodate for me. She told me she "didn't have time." I know I'm not the other one. I have three friends who also got tattoos from nixxi and are completely unsatisfied with her line work and creativity. In my opinion she should still be an apprentice and this is a problem that should be addressed!

An improper measure and placement left my daughter quite a scar on her nose. Once brought to the shops attention it was disregarded as just being rejected when it is clear that the hoop used wouldn't fit the length the piercer chose to do. She was very clear that she would not make such a mistake which tells me taking responsibility and learning from her mistakes is unknown to her. I know this will be argued by her and her usual defenders however this was a bad piercing job

My experience with Hez at Alberta Ink for a piercing was amazing! She made me feel extremely comfortable and explained the whole process and all my options thoroughly! By far my best experience with a piercer in Lethbridge. Highly recommend.

I have gotten a few tattoos from Alberta ink now and plan on more. It is always a great experience there. The place is super clean and the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful! Joel has done 3 of my tattoos and I love them all!! I will definitely be going back to Joel for more tattoos! All the artists at Alberta ink do great work and I am excited to go back! I have also had piercings done there and have always happy! 10/10 would recommend.

Heather was so amazing with helping me after I had gotten piercings done elsewhere that got embedded in my ear. She was so gentle removing them and was so helpful. Very knowledgeable, clean and extremely comforting. Will definitely be going back.

I have nine tattoos from Nixxi. I love her dedication and line work. I have had no issues with any fading and one of tattoos contains lime green ink. Every time has been completely professional and Nixxi has always taken the time to talk with me to get the exact vision I have wanted. She has also pierced me on countless occasions and I have never had a single complaint about her. Alberta ink is my favourite shop hands down.

I've gone into Alberta Ink twice now, and the only reason I went back the second time is to have consistent work for my tattoos as they are paired with another person (we each have two). It upsets me that Nixxi made good money off of this "art". The first appointment we had with her we waited over 1.5 hrs for Nixxi to be ready because she'd forgotten to draw up our tattoos, which she ended up tracing from picture ideas we had brought in. The second time she had her two daughters with her who were running around and being loud the entire time, making a mess at the desk where the artists draw up ideas. Both appointments were unprofessional. This wouldn't bother me so much however, if the tattoos we ended up with were amazing quality, but they aren't. The tattoos were done April 23, 2015 and February 26, 2016. All four are uneven (symmetry wise, and ink wise) and both of mine are faded or blurry. I am now going to another artist from a completely different shop to get my first tattoo COVERED, and my second touched up (and its only four months old mind you). It's extremely disappointing to have loved an idea and concept going in, and hating it so much a year later that I have to get it redone so early on. I wouldn't recommend Nixxi to anyone, as she is unprofessional and sloppy in her work.
