Amazing personable service and selection of wedding dresses. Julia F. was so helpful with picking out dresses that matched what I was looking for and ended up finding the perfect dress for my wedding that I didn’t even realize was really what I wanted in the end. Due to being from out of country and only snagged an appointment last minute while being in NYC for work, I didn’t have my bridal party or any family members to help with picking a dress, I didn’t feel like I missed out on the experience due to being able to FaceTime and sending a lot of pictures taken by Julia. I definitely said yes to the dress and am so glad I did.

I started the wedding dress shopping journey during the height of COVID, so I kept things small by going with just my mom. To be honest, it was the best decision I made for 2 reasons: 1. my mom's taste is impeccable, and 2. each component of the process (i.e. selecting styles, selecting salons, selecting the dress, etc.) offers endless possibilities. Having few and more valued opinions was the route for me. Before visiting Kleinfeld, I went to two other bridal salons in New York City. The dresses were beautiful (isn't that the root problem with wedding dress shopping?), but they weren't for me. Not to mention, the options were fairly slim in terms of styles and sizes. My mom and I finally headed to Kleinfeld-- I suppose we saved the best for last! Antoinette was our stylist, and between her and my Italian mother, it took about 30 seconds to find the Pnina dress of my literal dreams ... with a giant bow right in the front, of course. Every person at the salon was kind, helpful, and a master of their craft. Alternations on my dress were difficult due to the fabric and corset, and Maria seriously slayed. The best part was that despite how many clients are in and out of Kleinfeld on the daily, I felt like the only bride in the room. The result? I felt beyond beautiful and confident on my wedding day. My Kleinfeld appointment and experience was absolutely wonderful. I ended up having two appointments! The first one went well, although I didn’t say yes to the dress, Morgan helped me find my true style and preferred silhouette. After panicking and feeling like I was settling, I was able to book another appointment with Morgan the very next morning! I found my dream dress and Morgan was so incredibly helpful when I was trying to choose between two dresses. She really puts things into perspective and highlighted the pros and cons so well. I would recommend her to any bride that has a tendency to be indecisive and needs a bit more guidance.

I got to try on so many different dresses until I said "YESSS to my Dress "! They have a great eye here for details to fit and match your body style. OH. MY. GOODNESS. This entire review is me bragging on MADALYN HAIR. This girl is the most phenomenal consultant. EVERYONE NEEDS TO REQUEST HER WHEN YOU SHOP HERE. Madalyn pulled everything from my inspiration board and I loved them all of course, but none were THE ONE. After getting to know me for a little bit, Madalyn comes back in with a dress...no, THE DRESS. This dress was nothing like I had ever envisioned for myself, but Madalyn took all of my feedback on the other dresses and picked the most perfect gown. I left Kleinfeld 2 days ago and have not been able to stop looking at photos / videos. It was the most magical experience and I owe it all to Madalyn. She was so kind, thoughtful, fun, and sweet.

My bridal appointment was March of this year and at the time I could only have 2 guests with me due to COVID protocols. While I was disappointed that I couldn't bring an entourage, limiting the attendees to just 2 people, in this case I brought my mom and soon to be MIL, made it a more intimate and manageable experience. I don't know about you but sometimes too many opinions can unintentionally ruin the experience. We arrived and were immediately greeted by the front desk staff. My bridal consultant, who's name escapes me and I feel badly because she was amazing, came over to introduce herself and welcomed us with open arms. She took me to a private room where we discussed my wedding aesthetic, budget, my groom to be <3, and some of my ideas. She was curious, attentive, and did everything to make my experience as calm and relaxed as possible. I never felt pressured to make a decision and TBH I had already planned to purchase my gown from another bridal retailer. She returned with dresses that hit all the check marks and the second dress I tried on ended up taking my breathe away. IT was a Tony Ward creation and nothing like the dress I thought I'd be wearing on my wedding day. She encouraged me to try on a few more dresses to be sure, which I did, and doing so confirmed that the one I'd tried on previously was my dress. Coincidentally, Tony Ward was having a trunk show that exact weekend and I had the pleasure of meeting him and his right hand woman! I couldn't have dreamed of a better bridal gown shopping experience. He was there for every dress I tried on and also agreed that THE dress was THE dress. To complete the look I tried on a veil and head piece and it was curtains. I SAID YES TO THE DRESS. Included some pictures from that day and of a dress I ended up not picking but thought was beautiful. To say that my experience was magical would be an understatement. Everyone was very friendly, attentive and went out of their way to make my experience one where I felt like I was the only person in the bridal salon, even though obvi I wasn't lol. I never felt pressured to make a decision and honestly was encouraged to try other retailers so when I did make a decision I would be confident in my choice. If I could give Kleinfled 10 stars I would. I walked through the doors thinking there's no way I was getting my dress there because of all of these reasons and walked out not only with my dress but also the veil and headpiece to match!! Thank you to my bridal consultant, to Tony Ward and all the supporting characters who helped in making that day feel like I was the leading character in my own fairytale. <3 <3 <3

Beautiful shop. As guests of the bride,we were told to stay put with our masks on. Bit disappointed we couldn't pick out items too,but the safety measure due to Covid. Lovely staff.

I’m glad I got to have the Kleinfeld experience as a New York City bride. A few helpful hints: - the store is hot & changing in and out of lots of dresses will make you sweaty - weekend afternoons are crazy busy; make an appointment in the morning or later afternoon if you can. My appointment started 20 minutes late because they were so swamped. -My consultant did not pressure me to buy a dress at all which I was very grateful for.

My experience here was wonderful! The store is absolutely gorgeous. I had such a fun time. I ended up saying yes to the dress that my bridal consultant, Sunny picked out for me. She did an amazing job at looking at the pictures of dresses that I sent her and then narrowed it down to my perfect dress! She knew exactly what I wanted! If you can choose a bridal consultant, choose her! She’s amazing.

Due to covid, only 3 guests were allowed inside the show room with the bride with no opportunity to switch out. The rest of my party sat in the lobby while the bride tried on dresses. Luckily the lobby was on the way from the fitting room to the family seating area so bride was able to come outside to show us first! The staff were so helpful & had a "bride first" mentality!

I'm married - so did the dress shopping phase - plus have been to many wedding dress appointments with friends and this experience left me speechless for my friend. My friend flew in from Texas to come here and it was a horrible disappointment. Starting with, she shared her budget of $10k for a dress. The first thing the sales person did was only bring in dresses ABOVE her budget, which is disrespectful. She then put her in awkward situations where it was dresses of the designer in the studio for the day and kept saying in front of the designer "don't you love it?" What is my friend supposed to say? My friend had found a dress she liked in another store and kept referring to it as guidance to see if Kleinfeld had anything similar. Eventually the salesperson said, "seems you're set on that one so we are done here" after only 35 minutes!! It's absolutely packed with brides, this is during COVID. Without the TV show this place would be out of business with its lack of customer service and environment. If you're a bride I'm telling you - go to a different boutique!

I’m so thrilled with my experience at Kleinfeld. I was engaged in September of 2020 and I had my first appointment in late October. Krissy was my consultant and even though we were masked and socially distanced, she made me feel so special during my entire appointment. I found my dress really quickly (I had researched dresses before I went and knew my budget ahead of time) and Krissy gave me my own “Say Yes to the Dress” moment. Josephine was my seamstress for my alterations and she was wonderful every step of the way. My dress fit beautifully on the big day (June 15, 2021). I highly recommend Kleinfeld for any bride looking for a truly special experience.

A girl certainly does have fun at Kleinfeld!! I accompanied a dear friend for her first dress fitting and her assistant, Eva, went the extra mile to make sure that her time special and worthwhile. This location is beautifully decorated and maintained. We had a great time!!!

I’m ok with my dress not super happy about, I feel like I’ve been rushed as well also my appointment was late 15 min. I flew from Texas thinking I would have the AMAZING experience but no sadly. I don’t recommend it at all, small stores would do way better work than them

Kelsey helped me pick out my dress in 2019. I am not a fashion person and I asked her to select something she thought would look good with my skin tone and body type. She returned with a gorgeous A-line Eve of Milady dress that had blush tones. It was beautiful and when I tried it on, I knew it was the dress. My mom and I had so much fun with our shopping experience.

Where do I begin? The experience of helping my sister find her wedding dress was magical! My sister did not have any attention of visiting Kleinfeld while we were vacationing in NYC. My mom wanted her to have the experience so she booked a last minute appointment. Due to traffic, they were late but that did not cut short the experience. After it was clear my sister would find a dress, her appointment was extended. Because my sister wanted her maid of honor and bonus mother's stamp of approval, Klienfeld made a last minute appointment on Saturday so we could fly them in from Houston. After they arrived, it was clear my sister found the dress for her December 2022 wedding. We had visited other bridal stores but non offered experience, expertise and selection like Kleinfeld. That brings us to Sharon. Sharon should be commended. She took care of us and her customer service was outstanding. She went the extra mile! Thank you Sharon for this experience and making us feel so welcome. My sister is now a Kleinfeld Girl!

Olivia picked a variety of what I showed her and also some new dresses that she thought I'd like based on the ones I tried on. They were so accommodating after having to postpone from 1.2.21 to 1.8.22. My dress was everything I could of ever dreamt of! 10/10 recommend! I can’t rave enough about my experience at Kleinfeld! I had Kelsey as my consultant (she is no longer there), and she was my perfect match! I went in with one dress in mind that I had been eyeing for months. After speaking with Kelsey before she brought dresses, I shared photos and our vision of our venue and day as a whole. She brought 6 dresses in, most of which I favorited online, but I was immediately drawn to one she pulled on her own. I put it on first and knew that that was going to be my dress! She nailed the look and feel I was going for and I wound up walking away with a dress that I never thought I would get. I also opted to do my fittings there, I required 2. I do wish that the fitting appointments went a little better. They felt incredibly rushed and despite being the first or second appointment, mine were never on time. It’s also really hard if you are an out-of-town bride like myself with a full time job trying to schedule an appointment. I had the signature alteration package to try to keep costs as low as possible and I didn’t feel comfortable having less fittings, so maybe if you opt for a more expensive package, it wouldn’t be an issue. I did have one bead come loose and hang off my dress on my wedding day from where they had to take it in. I’m assuming it just wasn’t attached absolutely perfectly. Overall, I had a great experience and I am still so in love with my gown!

First off what an amazing experience!! I found 2 dresses I loved but one that could be the one ! I never felt pressured and I’m so glad I got Kayla Bienwald she was absolutely a breath of fresh air from previous experiences I had in the past. Thank you so much for making my experience the greatest! If it wasn’t for covid19 I would come back in a heartbeat! I can’t thank you enough and the fact you showed me the dress I saw someone got it on say yes to the dress it was truly an experience!!!! I can’t wait to come back !!!!

Had the most magical experience with our consultant Morgan!! She was friendly, intuitive, and a GREAT dress matchmaker. She really hit it out of the park and found my sister the perfect dress for her Big Day (and under budget at $1900--what?!). I've seen several reviews that it feels like a wedding factory or that the selection at that price point is limited. That was not our experience at all. No snobbery, just love. Everyone cried when the bride to be tried on the winning gown, including our consultant. "I just love my job so much!" 11/10 experience.

Kleinfeld let me down. The experience did not go as expected. When choosing my Gown and attending my first fitting I could not have been happier, however at that things went down hill. My final fitting was scheduled by a Kleinfeld employee 5 days before my wedding (so on Tuesday for a Saturday wedding), and I was told I would be taking the dress home that day. I was told I may be waiting there a few hours, so I brought a book. I arrived for my fitting and was told there was a lot of work to be done, and that there was no way I could take the dress that day. I would need to come back for the dress another time. Mind you I was getting married hours away. I changed my plans and had to cancel appointments I had set way in advance for my wedding such as nails and spray tan in order to drive back to the city for pick up Thursday for my Saturday wedding, during which I am supposed to try on the dress again. The spray tan appointment was unable to be rescheduled. I arrive Thursday and there is no appointment for me to try it on, but the receptionist was able to work it out where I then could. Thank god I did because the dress still did not fit. I then had to sit in Kleinfeld for hours while they rush finished the alterations. There was also an issue where they could not find my veil, even though I had mentioned it was missing at the 2 prior fittings. Once the dress was done I was asked to inspect it before leaving, all while being felt as though I was being rushed out of the store and that somehow this was all my fault. Everyone was less than apologetic or friendly. I did not realize until my wedding day that the lace was not symmetrical when altered (see photos), that certain pieces were not even fully sewn down, that the dress was totally wrinkled and there were still pins in the dress. All in all I am not happy at all with the situation and still feel as though the dress could’ve fit better. I again chose none of these fitting times and I wish I did not say OK when asked if I could do fittings the week of the wedding.

Worst experience I could have ever imagined. I don’t normally post reviews, but this subpar experience warrants a warning to brides. To begin, I was corresponding with my Bridal consultant, Morgan, a week prior to the appointment. Morgan was attentive with quick responses; I felt confident that she understood my vision of a wedding dress. However, upon arriving for my appointment, I was greeted 10 minutes late into a strict 90 min appointment by Amber who said she would be my bridal consultant. There was no communication about the fact that Morgan, who I had spent a week corresponding with up until the evening before, would not be my bridal consultant. I still have no idea why this occurred. There has been no communication since. Nevertheless, my mother and two bridesmaids and I continued to have a positive attitude, and were hopeful seeing the beautifully dressed mannequins. Unfortunately, Amber was rather flat, inattentive, and even after I showed her an entire folder of dress photos did not seem to understand or come close to my vision. She continued to pull dresses that were significantly lower than the budget I gave her. I even extended my budget, hoping she would put me in better gowns, but she didn’t get it at all. An hour in, I grew extremely frustrated and desperate, knowing my time was running out. Continuing to stay positive in appearance, my bridesmaids and I started to point to dresses and pull them to be tried. After pointing them out, she still forgot or was negligent in grabbing them and I had to remind her to grab them outside the door. Amber even tried to say we only had time for one more dress with 15 minutes left when she was 10 minutes late to my appointment. We had a horrible experience. My bridesmaids and mother were shocked by the shape the dresses were in, the flat and unengaged attitude of our bridal consultant, and the overall treatment of both the bride and her mini entourage. On top of all of this, my mother and bridesmaids pointed out that the bridal consultant given to us was not dressed like the other bridal consultants. The other bridal consultants were in black suits or something fashionable and formal. Mine was in jeans and a sweater. This made us wonder - was she pulled from the receptionist staff and thrown on the floor? I will never recommend Kleinfeld Bridal to a bride or bridal party. We traveled far with high expectations, and this was the worst experience we could have imagined. Completely inattentive and do not care about the bride.
