Some of their do not know how to do the job. I won’t say all of them because you still can get a good work done by them if you are lucky. However the blonde old lady manager is such a nightmare to deal with. They hem my pants(not the manager, she only measured it). One leg opening is not hemmed straight. First, they ask me to put the pants on, and saying”you will not notice it when you put them on.” I said no, I can see it is not straight. Second, the manager brings out a ruler and measured the good leg and told me “we always use a ruler”. Then just walk away. I ask her to come out again to measure the other leg with the ruler. Then she responds “ I will open it, then you draw the line for me”. I rejected because I do not work for her and it is her job not mine to hem a pants straight. Then she wants to refund me and kick me out. Of course, I get mad. I said “if you don’t want my business, why you cut my pants? Give me my perfect pants not this cut one, I’ll leave!” After all the drama, another employee come to solve the problem by doing it again! All I have asked is to re-do the work to make the leg opening perfect straight. Is that too much for you guys? You think you can just open a business and make whatever mistakes and just get away because you have enough business. I suggest everyone that have to go to this shop check their work very carefully and take pictures when you catch a mistake. Their professional work is 50/100, but their attitude is 0/100.

I bring my clothes to them for many years and they always do a perfect job. I really happy with their "rush" option for pants and usually wait for about 30 mins in the mall for them. I also got altered a couple of my dresses and they restyled my old leather jacket. These ladies are doing magic with clothes, and the customer service are always willing to help and give a professional advice. This place is #1 alteration service in Vancouver for me. Will definitely recommend it to my friends.

I go there for about a year and can definitely say that they deserve 5 stars! I've tried to go to several locations on the north shore and DT, but Stitch International at Park Royal is outstanding for several reasons. I brought there about 3 of my suits and lots of shirts to alter and they were all perfectly fitting me after the alteration. If something didn't fit as I wanted, they were fixing it without charging me. They also hem pants in about 30 mins, so I just waited for them without coming back to the mall again. In addition, they saved my life by tapering 4 pairs of pants the same day (cause I had flight tmrw morning) even though they were overbooked and take orders like this for a couple of days. Thumbs up for awesome service and friendly associates!

I've been their customer since 2010 with different sort of clothes from simple jeans to evening dresses and men's suits! Never had any issues! girls are always helpful, full of great ideas and they are professionals! Everything fits perfect after their work is complete. They always have a line ups, I think that's a good sign of how good are they! Thank you ladies!

After 4 visits, altering my cleavage, they completely ruined my dress. During my visits the store manager completely denied that they made any mistake and even suggested that I may have gained weight (!!). The dress was stitched too small and couldn't be made bigger. After complaining at the head office for a return of my paid money ($84, I didn't even ask for a compensation for my $159 dress) I had to write 6 emails and make 9 phone calls, but am still waiting after 3 months to hear back. I never got my dress back from them.

Terrible experience. They ruined a grad dress which was brought to them brand new and perfect. When picked up, it had huge yellow stain. They tried to say it was there before as if we were dumb. Avoid this place.

stitch international was a terrible experience. I brought in a uniform to get altered for work i just needed it smaller. There were pockets on there for a reason. They charged me 52$ for the alteration for only me to find out they removed the pockets without me asking. When I brought it up to the store owner who is older blonde with short hair she tried to make it sound like some kind of good thing that she removed the pockets for free. She had no idea what a uniform means and I asked her to put back on my pockets she said only if I pay 15. She asked me to pay for their mistakes. No thanks. Learn how to do stuff properly. Totally unprofessional and I'll never go there again.

Got my zipper repaired on my true religion jeans, looks fine and all, and the stitching was not wreck at all, it looks just like new. but will it break? we will see how long it last i guess.

When they received a Uniform for a size adjustment they removed the pockets without asking. Expecting them to correct the mistake as any good company would do, the owner shockingly insisted we be charged for them to put the pockets back on even though it was their mistake. Never minding the fact they were unprofessional enough to decide to remove pockets on a Uniform, of all things, without asking - the act of charging customers to fix a mistake the company made for a paid service is just bad business. Down right deplorable. Never use this tailor unless you're willing to gamble on you article being ruined and being charged for the mistake.

I like that they do same day alterations, at an affordable price. Hems are quick, usually 30 mins to an hour, and you can always find something to do while you wait.

Went in with a horribly inseam self-cut pants for altering/sewing. The finished piece wasn't satisfactory as the right pant leg was tighter and uneven to the other side. It was probably my fault as the cut I did wasn't fairly done. But, as an establishment with a lot of great cred, I expected my request to be met and be exceeded. This wasn't one of those times. And, the eta's were never clear. Through it all, I met Ramen, a really accommodating and understanding rep of the shop. Their customer relations are great, but they need to work on setting service expectations to their customers. Plus, they bill you quite a bit more than an average shop I go to in metrotown. Just went here because of distance convenience as I wasn't near my usual spot. I'll probably never come back here.

One of the worst customer service experiences in my recent memory. I took 3 pants to be hemmed and tapered there. When I picked them up one pair tapered with the wrong measurement and they acknowledge that. I had to wear the pair that night so I said I will bring it back the following week. When I brought it back the lady in charge said that these are different pants !!accusing me of bringing another pair to get fixed.. right after they messed up my pants. She was vicisous, rude and flat out siad I dont care go complain to the company. Stating she works over time and wouldnt care about my complaint as they have enough custmers!!! She threw the pair of pants on the desk and told me "I won't fix it, make me!!!" "what are you going to do about it"???? I have never seen such poor customer service in my life combined with rudeness and cruallity. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS HORIBBLE PERSON AND BUSINESS.

I’m giving a 3-Star because the first round of alteration service was immaculate until the second round kick-in; it was a total disaster. I had 2 jackets for alteration. Both jackets were done very well but one of the jacket’s sleeves were longer than expected and needed a 2nd round of adjustment. Here is when the disaster occurred. Not all of the employees are skilled. Unfortunately, the one that did mine was disastrous. I found out that the person was a Persian. I informed Serena and I sympathize with her predicament. She has too many orders to fulfill and the quality is getting compromised. I left with disappointment that my money was wasted. I will have to get this done somewhere else.

I had been here multiple times and this will be the last time I will be using their service. The quality of service is getting worse every time I visit. The customer service is terrible. One lady in particular is always mean. One of the first service I got from here, I asked for a jean to get hemmed, when I picked it up, it was still long and uneven but the blonde-haired lady continues to argue and act so defensive. She charged me twice to have it corrected. This time, I left even more disappointed. I asked to have another jean to be shorten. The stitching was poor. I asked to have it re-stitched with a better quality thread as I am not satisfied but all they can do is give me a reassurance through their words that the quality is good, and that they've hemmed "hundreds of jeans before so, I shouldn't worry". I didn't want to argue so I just left to find another tailor to fix their job. The thin thread they used made the jean look cheap.The attached photos will explain itself. They also keep increasing their prices which I would not mind if they match it with the quality of service they provide. I don't recommend getting their service. Take your clothes, especially the good quality ones, to professionals. If they could not hem a basic jeans properly, wonder how they would do with more complicated alterations.

Worst customers service I’ve ever experienced. I took 2 pairs of jeans in to get them hemmed shorter to the same length. I was surprised to find that one was longer then the other. This says a lot about their work and their inability to hem items properly. I took the jeans back and they refused to fix it free of charge. Why should I pay considering they couldn’t do their job correctly in the first place? Will never return to this incompetent alteration place again.

I could not recommend Stitch International more. I have been coming here for years, and whether it be a suit or jeans the level of detail and customer service is impeccable! When I bought my most recent suit I specifically told the store tailor to leave my suit alone because I don't trust anyone but Stitch International to do my alterations. Celina and her staff are welcoming and clearly experienced, highly recommend.

Took a jacket here to get side seams adjusted. They pinned it up and asked me if it looked good. Gave it the ok. Paid. Picked it up but they were busy so I took it home. Came back because the jacket did not look the same. The fabric bunched up at arm pit area (which is not what it looked like during the consultation) so took it back to see whats up. The girl working the front said that they can fix that up and that it was their mistake. Celina walks in and starts saying no no they didn't make a mistake and that this is because I didn't get the full jacket done and just the side seams. I asked her why she pinned the top side if they weren't going to get done and she didn't really give me an answer and just kept talking about how i can get it all fixed if I paid for it. I don't know. I felt she was rude and wasn't really willing to have a discussion about the problem which I would understand if it was really busy then I would be willing to come back to talk but there was no one else in the store in addition to the constant talking over me makes this business a total turn off. TL;DR: Jacket didn't look like what they showed it would look like during the consultation apparently my fault for not paying more(?) in addition to rude owner makes this business a 1 star from me!

I have had at least 10 articles altered at this place over the last several years, some with complicated alterations. I have always had good service and great results. If there is something that needs to be changed- they are very good about fixing it. Selena the manager is the most experienced. Surprised to see the negative reviews.
