Savile Row Tailors is a one-man operation run by Karim. He is very knowledgeable and is willing to offer advice even if it it is at his own expense. He can fit an off-the-rack piece like a glove for a very reasonable price!

The best tailor in the lower mainland. The service from Kareem was remarkable. He has a gift with garments and understanding how they fall for each unique body type. I had a 911 bridal gown issue (and had been to another alterations place twice over the past couple months, and they just couldn’t get it) but Kareem was able to understand the problem, find a solution, and turn it all around remarkably fast. Not to mention, turn my panic around too, with his calm cool collected, and empathetic demeanour. He is a true craftsman, professional and artist. He listens and understands what needs to be done, even if I dont have the right words to communicate my needs. He just gets it. I cannot recommend this tailor enough. I will never go anywhere else.

Kareem is a MASTER TAILOR. I gave him hard to handle, thick material and he got a special sewing machine just for me and made a magnificent quilted coat. I get stopped on the street for it. Don’t waste your time going anyplace else for custom made clothes. He’s the best there is.

I recently bought a suit from Indochino. The suit was sent back to be remade (at Indochino's recommendation) 3 times. It was also tailored ~ 5 times by them. Even after the last round the suit didn't lie on my chest great but I was told after wearing it it would improve. After about a month it still didn't look great and my wedding was coming up. I also bought a white shirt from HBC to wear as I was getting married soon. The two looked okay but certainly weren't in a condition I felt great about. On a whim I went to Savile to see if anything could be done to improve the two. This man is incredible. He runs a one man show but his expertise was very impressive. He went to work immediately and within twenty minutes both the shirt and suit looked great. I can't explain how great he was and how impressive the work he did was. I highly recommend using him.

Karim is incredible. Really talented and a super nice and friendly guy. Prices are affordable but more importantly, his skills and expertise are unmatched. He made my dress pants, which were too long and wide for me, look absolutely perfect. Will definitely be going back to see him again.

A true craftsman with a passion for his trade and his customer's experience. Kareem is much more than a tailor, he is a fashion consultant and an artist. A friend recommended I visit Kareem to get the perfect suit for my wedding. I visited him in his shop and we discussed what I was looking for and my budget. He has a ton of knowledge about the Men's Fashion Market and was able to recommend a few different high quality and reasonably priced off the rack suit options. I went to the shops that Kareem recommended and sent him photos of the different suits I was trying on. He helped me pick the right suit which I then brought back to his shop to be customised. He completely re-engineered the suit with an amazing attention to detail. The final product far exceeded my expectations, fit perfectly and stayed within my budget. Working with Kareem is like traveling back in time to an era when people stood by their word and took pride in the work.

I just called to ask about having lining replaced in a jacket, and was told by Karim (he gave his name when he answered the phone) that he did not do alterations, so I am somewhat confused by the other reviews. I am not giving a 1 star because service was bad, but Yelp won't allow me to post without providing a rating.

Karim, the owner, was an amazing help! I was in desperate need to get a skirt hemmed and a dress repaired quickly for a trip I am leaving on in 2 days. I almost gave up being able to find anyone in my area until I came across his website on Google and realized he is located right by my office, on Thurlow b/w Georgia and Robson, so it is a perfect location downtown! He is a very busy and respected man in the industry, known for the high end clientele he has etc, and he still made the time and went out of his way to assist me with my small & inexpensive order. Excellent customer service and I was very impressed with the job he did on my garnments!
