Men's clothing, suiting and tailoring has always been a passion of mine, and after passing by this store on the sidewalk countless times, I finally decided to try them out. I needed some tailoring done on a linen suit, and was interested in also purchasing a made to measure 'electric blue' suit. Marisa, who is the owner's daughter was an absolute delight to work with. Her passion for menswear and expertise in tailoring is evident, and she was more than willing to spend the time required to ensure everything was completed to my satisfaction. She has a great eye for fit, and was totally aware of current trends, as well as other Italian fashion houses in terms of what they do well. I was looking for a suit that fit more classically than the current trend of slim-form fitting suiting, and she was able to articulate clearly the benefits of each approach. Don't hesitate to stop in. Clothes make the man, and at Caruso Fine Tailoring I was in good hands every step of the way.

Bought my FIRST suit here out of college - and they gave me an exceptional deal as a broke grad. That one gesture made me a lifelong customer - and they have never disappointed. Any time I have a big event (weddings/funerals), a TV appearance or just want to look my best for a date, I stop in and they always help me look my best! I've even had three piece suits tailored by them within hours! Occasionally, they'll even throw in something else just because it goes well with what you're buying - nice suit? Here's a tie or a pocket square. A couple french cuff shirts? These cufflinks are a must. What I'm saying is they ALWAYS go above and beyond. Thank you as always Caruso's!

Came here to get the sleeves of two dress shirts shortened and was also suggested to have the torso of one shortened. Total came to about $45, which is very expensive. The first time I came, the place was empty so the lady was attentive. The second time I came to pick up the shirts, a group of men were trying to get suits for a wedding and I was practically ignored for ten minutes. At least have the courtesy to acknowledge your customers that walk in the door. Needlessly to say I won't be coming back here.

Excellent bespoke suit fitting(s) service and amazing tailored quality. Detail options are fully explained (ie. Lapel width, jacket vent, pocket arrangement and pant length) while aesthetic suggestions are based on body type. The back of my finished suit jacket looked like a sheet of glass and the way the arms fell was equally amazing. The pants were 9" wide legs and were an excellent suggestion as they were slimming. The staff were able to complete the suit in 10 days. I received alot of compliments during the 2 day event at Rideau Hall and the National Gallery in Ottawa. Thanks Caruso Fine Tailoring.

I'm wearing a brand new pant that I just picked up from them last week--it is the fifth they have made for me over the years along with a sports jacket and two suits. I've also gone with them for shirts although their shirts are not in house. (shirts and suits are two different beasts--beware any tailor claiming that their house can do either) Everything I own from the Caruso's is top notch in quality and fit; I feel like you get excellent value here if you are looking for a suit/jacket/pant made just for you. They have a lot of fabrics to choose from and if you want something extra special you can order from one of several books. The timing has always been very reasonable, even during their busy wedding season. One of the best aspects of the Caruso shop is that it really is an independent, family owned and operated business--not only will you get to meet everyone during your visit but they will remember your name when you come back. And as mentioned by somebody else, their advice on what looks good on your is priceless--I get tons of compliments on my sports jacket. Guys, whether you are looking for your first truly great suit or want to upgrade your wardrobe with a terrific jacket, I highly recommend you stop by Caruso shop.

The BEST in the business. I have to start with that because not only is the quality of the suit the BEST, but the quality of service from the family is even better. I came to Carusos on a referral from a friend to have a BESPOKE Tuxedo made for my wedding. I brought an image from a picture I saw on instagram - a custom made jacket and double breasted vest with fine silk detailing outline. Vic and Father Caruso made the PERFECT suit and brought the image I had into reality. (I thought you could only get something like this in designer shops in Italy or France, but they did it here). They customized every last detail with such precision and care to match my very specific vision. No detail is spared with them and being in the shop feels like the old school friendships and banter between Tailor and Client you think only exists in movies. A truly great experience with a product that is unmatched. (I've had other suits made and they don't even compare). The father is a legend and Vic gets every detail you will ask for, he's a perfectionist. I will be a lifetime customer and consider owning their suits a piece of Toronto art history.

AMAZING FAMILY RUN SHOP! Great service, great fit, and well run. We did our wedding suits here for myself and my groomsmen and they all turned out perfect. I tailoring is impeccable and they had lower end pricing for the suit material which fit my budget well. The best part of this store is they have the full range of suit qualities, so you can go in and spend real money or buy something a bit cheaper and get it fitted. It's perfect for having a suit that at least looks AMAZING but at more affordable prices, or having the BEST OF THE BEST suit at the proper higher price point. Victor coordinated well for us and the rest of the family was always around to help out. THANKS so much, I know I'll look perfect on my wedding day now.
